Jermaine Stegall is an accomplished and versatile composer and conductor. With over 50 projects to his credit, Stegall most recently completed the score for “Coming 2 America”, the highly anticipated sequel to the Eddie Murphy classic, with Murphy, Arsenio Hall and James Earl-Jones all reprising their roles. Stegall's recent scoring and conducting assignments have included “Senior Year” (2022) for Paramount Pictures, and the upcoming film “Oracle” for Universal Pictures. He has also had the opportunity to collaborate over the years with notable film composers including Danny Elfman, Christophe Beck, William Ross, Marco Beltrami, Harry Gregson-Williams, Christopher Lennertz, and Blake Neely, and Mark Isham. As a musical conductor, Stegall led a live string orchestra alongside Grammy-winning artist Tori Kelly at the televised 2019 ESPY Awards. A year prior, he conducted the orchestra to Camila Cabello's performance of “Consequences” on ABC's American Music Awards. In addition to scoring 2 seasons of "Our Star Wars Stories,” an original digital series from Lucasfilm and StarWars.com, in which host Jordan Hembrough uncovers heartfelt tales of fans and families who have found inspiration in the galaxy far, far away, Jermaine was also nominated for a MPSE Golden Reel Award for scoring the animated Netflix short film "Canvas" directed by Pixar's Frank Abney III. In honor of Mental Health Month! Dr. Jackie Darby is the Assistant Director of Outreach/Consultation at American University's Counseling Center, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, and a Certified Group Psychotherapist. She received her Psy.D. from the American School of Professional Psychology's Clinical Psychology program. She completed her Post-Doctoral Fellowship at American University Counseling Center and completed her APA-accredited internship at Howard University Counseling Services. Dr. Darby provides individual and group psychotherapy for young adults. Her special interests include: substance use issues, body image concerns (specifically the effects of colorism), effects of systemic oppression on individuals, group therapy, and interpersonal trauma. Dr. Darby is readily asked to present her research and insight on panels, workshops and lectures on topics related to multiculturalism and therapy. She is a contributing editor of the textbook, Black Millennials: Identity, Ambition, and Activism published by Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Company. Felicia Pride is a TV writer / producer and an award-winning filmmaker. She wrote on Ava DuVernay's QUEEN SUGAR and is currently a producer on GREY'S ANATOMY. She's developing shows with FX and Netflix and has previously sold a show to BRAVO. In film, she's the writer and executive producer of REALLY LOVE, produced by MACRO, which debuted on Netflix and became a Top Ten Movie on the platform. A native of Joliet, Illinois, Zsa-Hnetta Edwards has been a performer ever since she was a little girl. Her love for the stage was solidified as a pre-teen while doing plays and skits in her local church. Born in the global melting pot of Queens, N.Y., Dwayne Dugger II is a saxophonist, pianist, composer, vocalist, and film producer. Dugger's relationship with music began at the tender age of 9 when his parents enrolled him in piano lessons. Quickly developing a passion for the art form, Dwayne began playing in the church that same year. At age 13, he picked up the saxophone and became a member of his high school band. Dwayne earned his B.A. in Music from Morehouse College with a concentration in sax performance and a master's in jazz studies from Georgia State University. In 2003, Dwayne became one of the founding members of the ATL based band Jaspects, releasing projects while gaining a formidable cult following. For the past 10 years, Dwayne has toured the world performing with Major Recording Artists, PJ Morton, Angie Stone and Bruno Mars. Combining his love for both music and cinema, Dugger founded Black Sol Creatives in 2016. The company's first credit is award-winning Jezebel written and directed by Numa Perrier and distributed by Ava Duvernay's production company Array. Juanesta Carlota Holmes made her directorial debut on the Netflix series “Family Reunion” shot at Paramount Studios. Coincidentally it is the place where Juanesta, well-known as “Winnie” began her television career. A polished, versatile broadcaster with more than 20 years of experience, Mike Hill joined FOX Sports in August of 2013. He currently fills a variety of hosting roles, including providing game breaks during FOX NFL, FOX Sports and Fox Soul. Hill has demonstrated his aptitude across a variety of platforms during his broadcast career, one that began in 1995 when he accepted a position as the sports director at WHAG-TV in Hagerstown, Md. After then spending a year at KSEE in Fresno, Calif., he landed at WKRN-TV in Nashville in 1997, where he won two Sports Emmy Awards for his in-depth coverage of local high school football and was named the “Best Sportscaster for People Who Don't Love Sports” by The Tennessean. Karen Jackson is originally from Cleveland Heights Ohio moved to Nashville to attend Fisk University. Following graduation, she began her career in marketing working in the music industry at EMI Gospel and later for Motown Records. Karen was the Director of Marketing for their Gospel division, and oversaw all branding, marketing, and publicity for the label.
