If you are looking for someone who you can work with to heal trauma around your voice and expression in both the physical and energetics, this episode will give you more insight into how Maartje works and the benefits of healing your voice. In this episode we speak about: How to reconnect to your creativityThe power of connecting with your inner childHow to heal breathing problems and blocks in your voiceThe relationship between trauma and finding your voice How to connect with your inner voice How to free your expressionABOUT MAARTJE: Hi, I am Maartje Monné and founder of Voice Care & Coaching. I've been fascinated by the voice since I was little: Remember Disneys ‘The Little Mermaid' & ‘The Sound of Music', that's where it all began.... :-)I am a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) since 2004 and have been specializing myself in voice disorders, vocal techniques for the speaking voice and singing voice and many voice related methods since then.I also studied Musical Theater (part-time) to develop my own singing, dancing, acting, and stage skills (one of the best moments and memories of my life!) and have had my own private voice practice in the Netherlands, which was a great success! And then, in 2009, I met the (French) love of my life. So I sold my practice and moved to the south of France in 2010 where I ‘restarted' my life almost from 0 (I even could hardly speak the language; which was very frustrating for someone who loves to talk a lot)! For various reasons, I started working in 2011 at Airbus Helicopters as a Key Logistic Manager and stayed there for almost 8 years. This work wasn't voice related AT ALL, but it was a very good experience though. Because, besides the French language, I have learned many other useful skills during those years! In January 2019, I left Airbus Helicopters and started my current private voice practice/company in France; Voice Care & Coaching. And since October 2020, I can call myself a Psycho-Energetic Therapist too.Today ‘voice work' is more to me than vocal care and improving someone's voice quality. It's also about making people aware that the voice is connected to our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, which makes it also a beautiful mirror and a powerful tool to improve our overall health. In other words, my mission is to help you to improve and empower your voice, mindset and (energy) body so that you become happier, healthier and the best version of yourself!Connect with Maartje:Website: www.voicecarecoaching.comInstagram: @voice_care_coachingFacebook: Voice Care CoachingLinkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/maartje-monn%C3%A9-649446185/We would really appreciate if you could leave a review on Apple Podcasts. To listen to more episodes of The Creative Zone Podcast, click hereContact Tali: @talibrashFollow @thecreativezonepodcastSupport the show

To ensure accurate testing of parts, the Bowers Group has provided NMB Minebea UK Ltd with an INNOVATEST Falcon 507 Vickers, Knoop & Brinell Hardness Tester. The Falcon tester has enabled NMB Minebea to increase its PTP testing results from Class 3 to Class 1, deliver faster turnaround of samples and increase accuracy of the tests. NMB Minebea manufactures a variety of aerospace and military parts like bearings and landing gear. Producing precision-engineered products means that testing and quality assurance is key to NMB Minebea UK success. Jason Woodhouse, Laboratory Manager at NMB Minebea UK Ltd said: “Since investing in the Falcon, the accuracy of our hardness testing has improved by 60%. It’s not just accurate, it’s really simple and easy to use too.” Precise and accurate hardness measurement is of the utmost importance to performance-critical parts made using the cold form process. Hardness needs to be accurately measured to prevent fracture during the cold form process, which can result in components having to be scrapped, and also damage to the dies and tooling on machines. Jason Woodhouse continued: “We chose the Falcon 507 because it offered us all the features we needed at the right price. It was the perfect balance for us. Most people in the metallurgy lab use the hardness tester daily.” Testing for aerospace companies and their supply chains must be carried out in accordance with a Proficiency Testing Program (PTP), which refer to a series of tests established by a number of aerospace firms including Airbus, Safran, GE, MTU, GKN, Airbus Helicopters and Rolls Royce in order to qualify Laboratories around the world based on ISO:13528:2015 standard. NMB Minebea UK Ltd can now test to ASTM and British Standards on the hardness tester, validate paperwork, and export all results to Microsoft Windows. To ensure the hardness tester is as accurate as it can be it is calibrated by an external company every 6 months. NMB Minebea UK Ltd also has some dimensional metrology equipment from Bowers Group including 3 point bore gauges used for bore measurements, stick mics and thread mics.

Today ATR announced a deal with Silver Airways for 20 new aircraft. 16 ATR-600s and four 72-600 aircraft. This marks the first time ATR-600 will be operated in the US. With orders from Silver Airways Fedex, Indigo and Iran air last year, ATR has garnered 113 firm orders in 2017, compared to 36 in 2016. The latest deal with Silver Airways is also significant to Nordic Aviation Capital as it will be the 100th new aircraft order placed by the leader in regional aircraft leasing. Airbus Helicopters announced its results for last year that saw orders fall in 2017 compared to 2016 with 350 orders at the end of the year compared to 388 last year. Deliveries were also down this year with 409 helicopters delivered compared to 418 in 2016. Despite this, Airbus still maintains its 50% market share of the civil and parapublic helicopter market. One segment that Airbus has particularly struggled with in the past year is its heavy twins in the civil market segment. Anti-drone system for airports passes tests As reported in Episode 117, the FAA entered into a Pathfinder agreement with CACI International Inc. to evaluate using the company's sensor technology to detect rogue UAS in the vicinity of airports. Now the CACI proof-of-concept system has been tested at the Atlantic City International Airport. The SkyTracker™ system uses radio frequency sensors positioned around an airport which detect frequencies typically used by unmanned aircraft. Then it triangulates the signals to provide the location of the UAS and its operator. FAA press release: FAA, DHS, CACI, UMD Perform UAS Detection Work.
