Three months into President Trump's second term, pollster Frank Luntz explains voter sentiment. While conservative and liberal Americans remain steadfast, Luntz says the political center has been disappointed with the execution of the promises it voted for. After a brief but heated spat between the White House and Amazon, President Trump has called Jeff Bezos a “good guy.” Wired Editor-at-Large Steven Levy explains Amazon's idea–and then rejection–of marking the cost of tariffs on its low-cost site Amazon Haul. Levy discusses big tech's complicated relationship with the administration. Plus, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick says the U.S. has reached its first trade deal, and due to a surge in imports, the U.S. economy contracted during President Trump's first 100 days. CNBC's Steve Liesman discusses the intersection of a global trade war and America's GDP. Frank Luntz - 23:00Steve Liesman - 16:44Steven Levy - 34:25Rick Santelli & Steve Liesman - 40:26 In this episode:Steven Levy, @StevenLevyFrank Luntz, @FrankLuntzSteve Liesman, @steveliesmanBecky Quick, @BeckyQuickJoe Kernen, @JoeSquawkAndrew Ross Sorkin, @andrewrsorkinKatie Kramer, @Kramer_Katie

We open with yet another example of how the Legacy/mainstream media coordinates their narratives and talking points. It is all propaganda and spin. As we have gone through the weekend, Leftists are now shifting slightly on the arrest of the judges, admitting they broke the law, but they didn't like how it was done so publicly. In the meantime, the Gov. Tony Evers (D-WI) put out a memo to all state employees, telling them to basically defy ICE. At a White House press briefing, the ongoing discussions over immigration and deportation were non-stop. Border Czar Tom Homan fielded several questions and filled in the pieces the media was intentionally leaving out of their coverage. To give an example of the lies and how the operation work, we use a piece by the NYTimes where the headline says one thing, but the story tells the opposite. Yet, this does not stop Rachel Maddow from running with the headline only, thereby spreading another lie. Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent calls our Martha Raddatz and the media for why the market has been so volatile. Pollster Frank Luntz gets embarrassed when he discovers Trump supporters are not regretting their vote. In Spain, Portugal and parts of France, a massive power outage reveal just how dire the stability of our electrical grid really is. This leads to a bit of a rabbit trail about being more self-sufficient and the stupidity of the climate scam policies. Another hoax from the media comes from the funeral of the Pope. By carefully cropping a photo, many in traditional and new media tried to convince you that the Vatican demanded everyone where black for the funeral, yet Trump chose to defy them and where a blue suit. Turns out, dozens and dozens of others also wore blue. Finally, we close with an introspective piece written by a former liberal who admits he was trapped in a liberal echo chamber. It's an inspiring reminder that we need to keep telling the truth, because we can awake some who have chosen to be asleep. Donald Trump's surprise win in the national popular vote count in the 2024 U.S. presidential race shocked even veteran political commentators. Part of that victory certainly owed itself to poor Democratic turnout — a turnout which resembled lower 2016 numbers instead of higher 2020 numbers and which traumatized the Democratic Party establishment with its first popular vote loss in two decades. A portion of that surprise victory, however, also came from individuals who voted for Joe Biden in 2020, but then voted instead for Trump in 2024. Watch the above 33-minute episode of America Speaks as pollster and political analyst Dr. Frank Luntz zooms in on a group of Americans who voted for Biden in 2020 but for Trump in 2024. Dr. Luntz asks them to share their personal reasons for why they moved over to Trump, what the Democrats could do to win them back, and how they think the returning president has been doing mere weeks into his second term.

All of this — together with rising inequality, the shrinking of the middle class, and the inability of unemployed or unhoused Americans to access the welfare that they need — has contributed to a growing sense of financial hardship for many Americans. The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 4: 6:00pm- While speaking to a group of Latino voters on a Zoom call Tuesday night, President Joe Biden referred to supporters of Donald Trump as “garbage.” The comment came on the same night Kamala Harris made her “closing argument” to voters—largely preaching unity (despite the campaign regularly referring to Trump as a fascist). On Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre flatly denied Biden ever called Trump supporters garbage. Meanwhile, members of the media have attempted to cover for Biden—with NBC's Kelly O'Donnell even referring to the gaffe as a symptom of the president's lifelong battle with stuttering. 6:10pm- While appearing on CNN, pollster and political analyst Frank Luntz said he believes President Joe Biden referring to Donald Trump supporters as “garbage” may cost Kamala Harris the election. Last month, Luntz predicted Harris would win the election. 6:15pm- Trump Campaign's Supreme Court Win. A federal appeals court upheld the injunction on Sunday, quickly prompting the attorney general to appeal to the Supreme Court.” You can read the full article here: https://www.nationalreview.com/news/supreme-court-allows-virginia-to-remove-noncitizens-from-voter-rolls-before-election/ 6:40pm- Vice presidential candidate J.D. Conservatives are having a collective freakout over the fact that Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris following Tuesday evening's debate, and they are doing their best to pretend like it isn't a big deal (while all suffering a major meltdown about it.) Everyone from Elon Musk to Dave Rubin has weighed in, essentially begging Swift to change her mind and join their repressive team. And they have good reason to be worried - hundreds of thousands of people have now flooded voter registration sites following the endorsement. Also, Donald Trump has decided to join forces with right wing weirdo Laura Loomer, and Marjorie Taylor Greene is not happy about it. Greene decided to blast Loomer on Twitter for a racist post that she made about Vice President Harris, but the real reason has less to do with the post and everything to do with Trump arriving at Tuesday's debate with Loomer. Greene is super jealous that she is being replaced by someone far more extreme. And in an interview with Piers Morgan this week, Republican pollster Frank Luntz said that Donald Trump's debate performance was so bad that there's no way it won't impact his campaign in a negative way. Luntz said that the immediate impact is going to be seen in polls that will start coming out in just a few days, and it could be so bad that the campaign can't possibly even recover from the damage. Finally,  Donald Trump threw his running mate JD Vance under the bus hard during Tuesday night's debate on the issue of abortion, and ABC News asked Vance what he makes of the whole situation. Vance tried to act like it didn't bother him, but it was obvious that Vance was learning quickly that every bad thing that happens with this campaign is going to be blamed on him, no matter what.Subscribe to our YouTube channel to stay up to date on all of Farron's content: https://www.youtube.com/FarronBalancedFollow Farron on social media!Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FarronBalancedTwitter: https://twitter.com/farronbalancedInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/farronbalancedTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@farronbalanced?lang=enText and and let us know your thoughts on today's stories!

Undecided Voters Say They'll NEVER Vote For Convicted Felon Trump

According to Republican pollster Frank Luntz, he's hearing some bad news for Donald Trump while talking to Independent voters. These voters are telling Luntz that under no circumstances will they vote for someone that is a convicted felon. Many of these sentiments have been echoed in recent polling data, but hearing the quote from the voters themselves takes it to a whole new level. Also, the latest polls show that Donald Trump is not doing a good job with his "political persecution" talking points. A new poll has found that a plurality of Americans want to see Trump go to jail after being convicted, a shocking number that shows how unpopular he is becoming. Plenty of Americans still believe that he should serve some other kind of sentence, but the general consensus is that he needs to be punished. And Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. is sucking away enough support from Donald Trump in key swing states that President Biden is now pulling ahead. This is likely going to continue as the public comes to terms with Trump's criminal convictions, and moderate Republicans move away from him. They likely won't end up in the Democratic Party, so supporting the Independent who sounds like a Republican will be their next best option. Finally, supporters of convicted felon Donald Trump are begging him to throw Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg in prison if he wins back The White House. And it isn't just the members of the MAGA base - even people like convicted criminal Steve Bannon are making the suggestion to Donald Trump. Trump has made it clear that he'll seek retribution if he gets back in office, and Bragg is definitely one of his top targets.Subscribe to our YouTube channel to stay up to date on all of Farron's content: https://www.youtube.com/FarronBalancedFollow Farron on social media!Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FarronBalanced/Twitter: https://twitter.com/farronbalancedInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/farronbalancedTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@farronbalanced?lang=en

Capitalism and socialism offer two different economic models, each with their own unique pros and cons. And while it is rare to find any modern economy that is either entirely capitalist or entirely socialist, citizens frequently use these terms to represent the general direction in which they believe the economy and society should progress. Similarly, while it is rare to find any example of a purely meritocratic or a purely equal society, the public debate on meritocracy versus equality helps us clarify which laws or policies should be pursued in the years ahead. In an unfolding dramatic turn of events, highly regarded poll researcher and prevalent CNN commentator, Frank Luntz issued a stark admonition to Letitia James, who currently holds the position of New York's Attorney General. Luntz alerted James to the potential political implications that could ensue if there was an attempt to lay claim to the assets of former President Donald Trump. Trump has been issued an ultimatum to post a bond of $464 million by the 25th of March, or encounter the daunting prospect of having his assets taken over. This ruling was assigned by Judge Arthur Engoron, as a repercussion of accusations that Trump had artificially inflated the estimated worth of his physical assets to secure loans under more attractive terms. Luntz did not mince his words during an appearance on CNN, where he urged James to take heed of the situation. 'Keep this moment in your memory, and don't let it fade', Luntz entreated with utmost gravity. Should James venture to initiate the seizure of Trump's properties, carry out an asset takeover, Luntz pointed out that it would be all captured on camera. He warned that media commentators would dissect the situation vehemently, parroting criticism that would create an unfavorable climate for further elections. Then, drawing an image of intense polarities, Luntz warned of the creation of the most significant martyrdom in the upcoming 2024 elections which could inadvertently lead to re-electing Donald Trump. The viewer simply has to imagine a scenario where Trump has had his possessions taken from him. Presenting that as evidence of a coordinated conspiracy, Trump could claim that the entire establishment, including Washington's marshland, countrywide politicians, and Attorneys General, was plotting to deny him his rightful place in the presidential office. According to Luntz's reasoning, this would lead to a rising trend in Trump's favorability polls. He highlighted how the legal troubles Trump had faced in the past had paradoxically contributed to an increase in his popularity. Drawing attention to the seizure of assets, he predicted a repeat of this phenomenon, with criminal charges acting as a boomerang reflecting even greater support for Trump at the polls. Speaking directly into the camera, addressing the attorney general, Luntz cautioned her against succumbing to political machinations. He compared the present situation with the actions of state secretaries in Colorado and Maine. In both regions, despite the opposition's attempts to tarnish Trump's reputation, his approval ratings actually soared. Luntz iterated that his disbelief was almost rendering him wordless, shaking his head at the clumsiness of the anti-Trump party. Luntz's fiery commentary concluded with him branding the opposition's efforts as pitifully misguided, underscoring this point by calling their tactics in dealing with Trump horrendous 'misfires'. He sounded almost incredulous at how counterproductive their actions have been, warning that the ongoing lawsuit may just be yet another misstep in a long line of tactical blunders. The lawsuit, it should be noted, was initially launched by James against the Trump Organization. Accusations swirled with claims that Trump was guilty of fraudulent activity, inflating the estimated value of his property holdings and financial wealth with the express purpose of obtaining loans on better terms. The pursuit of justice was initially directed toward securing $250 million in damages. However, as the lawsuit began making its way through the courts, James amended her request, now seeking $370 million. The final ruling, delivered by Judge Engoron on the 16th of February, brought some resolution to the matter. The ruling was in favor of James, with the judge ruling that Trump should pay out $350 million in damages. This noteworthy ruling came five months after an initial finding by Engoron that former President Trump and his business empire, the Trump Organization, had engaged in fraudulent behavior. However, amidst the barrage of legal disputes and decisions, the voice of caution resonates. Luntz's cautionary predictions suggest that these could be the stepping stones towards another political comeback for Donald Trump. Looking at the entire scenario from a bird's eye view, there's an intriguing play of action and reaction unfolding. Trump's previous brushes with legal confrontations led to him growing in popularity. Will this case proceed on the same trajectory? It would seem poised to do so, especially if Trump positions himself as a victim of a coordinated effort, as Luntz has suggested. However, while his predictions offer a fascinating perspective, they cannot be taken as absolute truth. Only time will reveal the tangible consequences of these unfolding dramas. What's clear, though, is the situation has all the elements necessary to create a high-stakes political theater. The stage is set, the actors are ready, and the entire nation is watching with bated breath. Such unique circumstances make it all the more crucial for those involved in the Trump case to act with utmost circumspection. Each action taken, each decision made, will contribute to a larger narrative. Ignoring the potential recoil, as Luntz dutifully highlighted, is a perilous mistake that could provoke unintended reactions from a politically aware and sensitive electorate. In the same vein, the example of past states like Colorado and Maine provides invaluable lessons. Tactless maneuvers, seemingly aimed at damaging Trump's reputation, ended up doing the opposite. And as both sides brace themselves for what comes next, they would do well to consider the possible and even probable fallout of their actions. The saga of Trump, his assets, his lawsuits, and his political career is far from over and the twists and turns remaining in this compelling narrative are yet to be discovered. In this 34-minute episode of America Speaks, political analyst and pollster Dr. Frank Luntz interviews a group of individuals who voted for Biden in 2020 but plan on not voting for him in 2024. Luntz asks them a range of questions to understand how Biden lost their support since they cast their votes in 2020.

Antisocial personality disorder is a mental condition in which a person has a lasting pattern of manipulating, exploiting or violating the rights of others without any remorse and it is linked to sociopathy. While only 3% of men and 1% of women suffer from this disorder in the US according to PsychologyToday, it is important for us to discuss it. In our previous video, we talked about what Antisocial Personality Disorder really is, so today, we want to look deeper into the signs of antisocial personality disorder. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (12/20/2023): 3:05pm- On Tuesday night, the Colorado Supreme Court ruled that former President Donald Trump is disqualified from holding office for his participation in the riots at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, 2021—citing his engagement in what they described as an “insurrection.” Consequently, Trump will now be barred from appearing on the state's Republican presidential primary ballot. The primary is scheduled to take place on March 5th, 2024. Jan Wolfe and Mariah Timms of The Wall Street Journal write: “The Colorado ruling disqualifying former President Donald Trump from the ballot puts a novel and highly sensitive set of constitutional questions before the Supreme Court, likely forcing the justices to intervene directly in a presidential election in a way not seen since Bush v. Gore in 2000.” You can read their full article here: https://www.wsj.com/us-news/law/colorado-ruling-knocking-trump-off-ballot-puts-supreme-court-in-hot-seat-de07e8f5?mod=hp_lead_pos2 3:25pm- Speaking with the press following news that the Colorado Supreme Court's decision barring Donald Trump from holding office, President Joe Biden said it is “self-evident” that Trump “supported an insurrection.” 3:30pm- While appearing on CNN with host Abby Phillip, Colorado GOP Chairman Dave Williams said that—in response to the Colorado Supreme Court's ruling barring Donald Trump from appearing on the state's ballots—he is prepared to change the state's Republican presidential primary to a caucus system in which voters would be allowed to support Trump.   3:40pm- MSNBC's Rachel Maddow claimed it is the mark of a “healthy democracy” to have “some sort of disqualifying process” for people and political parties seeking to attain public office. 3:50pm- Stefan Becket and Melissa Quinn of CBS News write of the Colorado Supreme Court's 4-3 ruling against Donald Trump: “In their 133-page opinion, the four justices in the majority acknowledged that ‘we travel in uncharted territory, and that this case presents several issues of first impression.'…The three justices who were in the minority—Chief Justice Brian Boatright and Justices Carlos Samour and Maria Berkenkotter—each wrote their own opinions dissenting with the ruling. They each took issue with various portions of the court's opinion, and expressed concerns about what they saw as a lack of due process for denying Trump's access to the primary ballot. In his dissent, Boatright said that the section of Colorado's election code under which the case was brought "was not enacted to decide whether a candidate engaged in insurrection." You can read the full article here: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/colorado-supreme-court-opinions-decision-trump-primary-ballot/ 4:05pm- While appearing on CNN with host Pamela Brown, pollster Frank Luntz said that the Colorado Supreme Court's ruling against Donald Trump ostensibly validates the former president's claim that the deep state is out to get him. Luntz also suggested that this ruling, barring Trump from appearing on Colorado's presidential ballot, all but guarantees Republicans rally around him—ending Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley's presidential campaigns. 4:10pm- In response to the Colorado Supreme Court's decision, Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick hypothetically suggested “maybe we should take Biden off the ballot [in Texas] for allowing 8 million people to cross the border.” 4:20pm- While speaking at a campaign rally in Waterloo, Iowa, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said that more needs to be done to stop the flow of migrants across the U.S. Southern border unlawfully. 4:25pm- During an interview with Jake Tapper on CNN, Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) said that an estimated 270,000 migrants are crossing the U.S. Southern border illegally every month—which, as he notes, is roughly the size of the population of Pittsburgh, PA. 4:40pm- How much would the McCallister family trip to France in the classic Christmas film Home Alone cost in 2023? Democracy depends on our ability to choose our political views. But the language we use to talk about political issues is deliberately designed to be divisive, and can produce up to a 15-point difference in what we think about those issues. As a result, are we choosing our views, or is our language choosing them for us?This week,Your Undivided Attention welcomes two Jedi Masters of political communication. Drew Westen is a political psychologist and messaging consultant based at Emory university, who has advised the Democratic Party. Frank Luntz is a political and communications consultant, pollster, and pundit, who has advised the Republican Party. In the past, our guests have used their messaging expertise in ways that increased partisanship. For example, Luntz advocated for the use of the term “death tax” instead of “estate tax,” and “climate change” instead of “global warming.” Still, Luntz and Westen are uniquely positioned to help us decode the divisive power of language — and explore how we might design language that unifies.CORRECTIONS: in the episode, Tristan refers to a panel Drew Westen and Frank Luntz were on at the New York Public Library. ‘Hell Hath No Fury Like a Voter Scorned': What 14 Swing Voters Have to Say

The Argument

A year into the Biden administration, most of us can agree on one thing: The United States remains a deeply divided nation, with polarizing opinions on all sides. But what about the voices from the middle, the independents? Swing voters are arguably one of the most consequential groups for the midterm elections, so we wanted to hear from them about how they view President Biden's first year and the current state of American democracy. So this month the veteran G.O.P pollster Frank Luntz convened a focus group of 14 self-identified independents and moderates to get their perspectives. And there seems to be a striking theme: They're exasperated. As Nick from Pennsylvania put it, “We've been promised a lot by past politicians, and it just seems that nothing ever changes.”This week, Luntz debriefs Jane on the group's findings — namely, that independents are very disappointed and don't see much hope for either party. His takeaway? “Independents are simple rejecters. They reject both the left and the right. They reject the past president and the current president. And in some ways they're actually even more negative because they don't see a way out.”Mentioned in this episode:“‘The Lowest Point in My Lifetime': How 14 Independent Voters Feel About America”“Why Republican Voters Think Americans Have to Get Over Jan. 6”“‘We Barely Qualify as a Democracy Anymore': Democratic Voters Fear for America”Sign up for one of Frank Luntz's focus groups

This episode is based on a book by Dr. Frank Luntz, “What Americans Really Want...Really: The Truth About Our Hopes, Dreams, and Fears.” Dr. Luntz has led focus groups and conducted numerous surveys on Americans to gather research about what Americans want. So in this episode of Retirement Made Easy, I cover the 7 most common worries of retirees as well as answer some listener questions! You will want to hear this episode if you are interested in... [4:49] 7 Questions people over 60 have about retirement [11:58] Listener Question #1: Why I think life insurance is NOT an investment [15:36] Listener Question #2: Why some financial advisors only deal with investments [17:05] Listener Question #3: A guaranteed 10% return and money back [18:05] Listener Question #4: How to invest an inherited IRA 7 Questions people over 60 have about retirement Will I run out of money before I run out of years? I hear this question over and over again. The thought of living purely on social security is terrifying. What if they have to go back to work?  Is social security going to be there for me? Everyone is worried social security will run out before it's their turn to collect.  Will I be able to afford healthcare when I get too old to work? Healthcare expenses continue to rise—how can a retiree continue to afford trips to a doctor?  Am I one medical emergency away from bankruptcy and ruin?  Are prescription drugs going to be so expensive that you'll have to choose between them and food?  Will I be a physical or financial burden on my spouse or children? No one wants to be a burden to their loved ones. Will I lose my independence and mobility at some point? Anyone over 60 wants to maintain their dignity in retirement. The thought of depending on someone else is frightening.  I was reading a book by retired financial planner Nick Murray, “Simple Wealth, Inevitable Wealth” where he encouraged an experiment. As you're nearing retirement, find an 80+ year old that you trust and ask them a hypothetical question. Let's say you have two choices:  Option #1: You can vanish from the earth at the end of the day. No questions asked.  Option #2: You have to put your hat on, walk to the bus stop, take the bus to your children, and ask them for the money you need to live on for the next month. Most—if not all—80–90-year-olds would rather be gone from the earth than have to rely on their kids for financial support. They don't want to be a burden. Dr. Frank Luntz's surveys have come to the same conclusion. As a financial planner, what do I tell someone who lives until 98 and we had only planned until age 92? We make sure there's a cushion that can take them through their 90s and 100s. Why I think life insurance is NOT an investment There are investments you can put inside a retirement account. You can own stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, etc. in a 401k or IRA. Guess what you can't have in an IRA? Life insurance. The vast majority of people have their nest egg in IRAs, Roth IRAs, 401Ks, and 403Bs. It's money you're investing for the future to draw an income from. You're prevented by law from placing life insurance in these accounts. Because of this, you can't classify them as an investment. Sure, it can be a way to leave a legacy, fund a trust, etc. but that's a separate argument.  Keep listening to hear me answer some questions about financial advisors and some sketchy investment schemes! How to invest an inherited IRA If you inherit a $500,000 IRA, what is the best way to invest it? This is a broad question. If you inherit money after January 1st, 2020, you have to take distributions from the IRA. You will pay Federal and State income taxes on those withdrawals over 10 years. It would then be depleted. But you want growth, right? So here are some things to think about: What will the tax burden be? If you are retiring in 5 years, it might make sense to wait five years to take withdrawals. You can defer the tax burden to years 6–10 when you don't also have earned income.  What do you want to accomplish with the money? Does your risk score match your desired outcome? If you want to use the withdrawals to pay off your house, you must plan your investments so each withdrawal can pay off your home before you retire. I might take distributions to increase my retirement savings in my retirement plan. I'd get a tax deduction to offset the taxes I'm charged from the withdrawal. You could max out your 401k at work and it would be a wash.  Resources & People Mentioned BOOK: What Americans Really Want...Really: The Truth About Our Hopes, Dreams, and Fears by Dr. Frank Luntz Learn more about Dr. Frank Lutz BOOK: Simple Wealth, Inevitable Wealth by Nick Murray Connect With Gregg Gonzalez Email at: Gregg@RetireSTL.com  Podcast: https://RetirementMadeEasyPodcast.com Website: https://StLouisFinancialAdvisor.com Follow Gregg on LinkedIn Follow Gregg on Facebook Follow Gregg on YouTube Subscribe to Retirement Made EasyOn Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts

Legendary Pollster Frank Luntz: The British Public Are Deeply Disillusioned

This time on #SWYSI, we are joined by legendary pollster Frank Luntz. As the world's leading expert on political language & communication, Dr. Luntz is extremely well known in both his native USA as well as the UK, where his advice is eagerly sought by governments and senior politicians. Dr Frank Luntz, has spent the summer working with the Centre for Policy Studies on a landmark survey of the British public's language and values. He has conducted one of the most extensive polling exercises yet seen, uncovering the public's sentiments on language and values. (Full report here: https://www.cps.org.uk/media/press-re...) His headline findings are: Britain is not as divided as America - but an alarmingly large segment of the public is deeply disillusioned. Voters are almost as fed up with business as with politicians - presenting a huge challenge for supporters of capitalism and enterprise. Tory and Labour supporters are united by their values - but fundamentally split on policies and priorities. Concern about climate change is cross-party - but ‘woke' attitudes are far less mainstream than in the US. Voters prefer the Tory party of today to its predecessors - but all voters prefer the Labour Party of Tony Blair to that of Starmer or Corbyn. 43% of Britons feel they are invested in their country, but only 27% feel it is invested in them. 70% of respondents said politicians were in it for themselves or their party, with a mere 9% believing they prioritised their constituents. The key words people chose to describe their attitudes towards politicians were ‘disappointed' (40%), ‘ignored' (36%) and ‘fed up' (30%). Nine of the top 10 answers were negative, with only 14% saying they made them feel ‘hopeful.' Two thirds of respondents agreed that their attitude to politicians was 'F*** em all', including 78% of Labour voters and 46% of Conservatives. Only 34% of voters think Britain is ‘an exceptional country' - while as many as 22% think Britain has ‘failed its people'. Full CPS Report here: https://www.cps.org.uk/media/press-re...

Paul Shiver wrote a piece for The Blaze yesterday reporting on Republican pollster and political strategist Frank Luntz and his remarks to a podcast at The New York Times. You can read the article here and you can listen to that NYT podcast interview with Luntz here. But the long and short of it is that Luntz thinks Trump has only himself to blame for social media giants having permanently banned him from their platforms - even while he was still in office. The whole business reminds me of William Wallace being sold down the river by the Scottish nobility in his fight for Scottish independence against England's King Edward I. Or, for a biblical example, I think of King David ordering that Uriah the Hittite be put on the frontlines where the fighting was fiercest, then having the rest of his compatriots pull back to let him get cut down. Frank Luntz makes clear that the Republican establishment wants Caesar politically dead once and for all. But Brutus says he was ambitious; And Brutus is an honorable man. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/garrett-ashley-mullet/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/garrett-ashley-mullet/support

The Democrats are ignoring the data indicting those who are most likely to die are over 65, and most of that group probably will get the vaccine. The science also indicated that those who work outside in the sunlight are far let likely to get ill because of the benefits of Vitamin D from the sun.“Group Think” was first introduced as a problem in 1971 by “Psychology Today”. Because it puts substantial social pressure on conforming to what others are thinking or saying, rather than observing and reaching one’s own opinions from often obvious evidence, "Group Think" is very dangerous in a FREE SOCIETY! Louis Avallone and Stephen Parr are committed to helping you avoid the “Group Think Trap" here on American Ground Radio. Our American Mamas, Teri Netterville and Denise Arthur, have very high regard for those who voluntarily risk their lives every day to protect and to otherwise serve us. They have no tolerance for those who are teaching certain groups of people to engage in disrespectful, hateful, or dangerous behavior towards our police. It needs to stop. Someday, everyone of us may need to dial 911, and we will need someone to answer the phone!Obviously, they are friends, going back about 30 years; but does US House Republican Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy have a conflict of interest problem because of his friendship with Pollster Frank Luntz, who has represented a number of very liberal corporations? McCarthy said he rented a room from Luntz because of Pelosi’s COVID-19 Capitol Building use restrictions. Until then, he slept on his Capitol Office couch.Cancel Culture is pushing to destroy too much, including the Judeo-Christian religious faith. In the USA, the 1st Amendment is supposed to protect those rights to speak and worship as we wish. In the European Union, they are recognized as National Rights under the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union. This includes Finland. However, Päivi Räsänen, a former Minister of the Finnish Interior and a current member of the Finnish Parliament, is facing up to 6 years in prison for Biblical writings in her criticism of homosexuality. This bully culture is becoming too common both in the European Union and in the USA. Päivi Räsänen is quoted as saying, “I will not be intimidated into hiding my faith. The more Christians keep silent on controversial themes, the narrower the space for freedom of speech gets.”What a mess! Did we really need this “Biden Chaos”? The Democrats, using Biden’s pen, are working very rapidly to make “America Normal Again”, and they are creating disaster and chaos in the process! Illegal southern border crossings are up 700%, and Press Secretary Jen Psaki says Biden is taking on the challenge at the southern border. How?The voters and parent in the Carroll ISD (Southlake, Texas) fought back against “Critical Race Theory” being put into their school system. It worked! A group called Southlake Families PAC came together, interviewed all the candidates for the local school board and city election positions on the ballot, made one recommendation for each, …. AND THEY WON, with about 70% of the vote in each race! The Democrats had worked hard to “brand” all five candidates endorsed by Southlake Families PAC as “racist”. Clearly, it did not work!

From the very beginning of the first GOP presidential debate, Donald Trump was in the spotlight and under fire from Fox News commentators. The first question asked for a show of hands of all candidates who would not pledge to support the Republican presidential nominee. Only Donald Trump raised his hand, which led to the first of many confrontations during the debate. He was challenged by moderator Brett Baier and lambasted by Senator Rand Paul for “buying and selling politicians.” While Trump declared that he wants to “run as the Republican nominee,” he is wise to keep his options open. The Republican establishment is terrified of Trump, who can finance a third party campaign and is independent of special interests. They will continue to mercilessly attack him, hence Trump is smart to maintain “leverage” and keep open the third party alternative. It may also provide a needed choice for the American people. If the presidential nominees are Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Jeb Bush, or another RINO, Trump should enter the race to give voters a real alternative. The last thing the country needs is another Bush or Clinton in the White House. In fact, in a three way race between Clinton, Bush and Trump, there is a possibility that Trump may win. There is great dissatisfaction with political dynasties and millions of Americans would refuse to vote for either Clinton or Bush, giving a well-funded third party candidate like Trump a chance. There is certainly precedent for a strong third party candidacy. In 1992, Texas businessman Ross Perot was leading the presidential race before he exited amid claims that he did not want to throw the election into the House of Representatives. He later said he left the race because he was concerned that Republicans were planning to disrupt his daughter’s wedding. When he returned to the campaign months later, his prospects were severely diminished. Nevertheless, he finished with almost 19% of the vote, the highest third party total since Theodore Roosevelt in 1912.Unlike Perot, who destroyed his chances when he abandoned the race, Trump would be a more formidable third party contender. He has universal name recognition, billions of dollars to spend, and no need to placate special interests or big donors. Clearly, the GOP establishment, and their media lapdogs, will try to destroy his chances. This is exactly what happened during the Fox News debate. After being immediately confronted on the third party question, Trump spent the rest of the debate fending off queries about his bankruptcies, his stand on abortion and Obamacare, his treatment of women, and his previous support of Democrat candidates. Throughout it all, Trump stayed on the offensive and refused to apologize. This stance was extremely popular with the vast conservative audience of the Drudge Report website. After 531,000 votes were tabulated, Trump was declared the winner by over 45% of the voters, far outpacing second place finisher Senator Ted Cruz who received just 14% of the vote. While the public loved Trump's performance, so-called experts such as analyst Charles Krauthammer and pollster Frank Luntz panned The Donald's showing. In true Trump fashion, he blasted Luntz as a “low class slob.”Clearly, Trump's best chance for victory would be as the GOP nominee. Obviously, he would prefer to win the Republican nomination; however, he may be subjected to impossible hurdles as the race progresses. While a third party candidacy is not the ideal scenario for Trump, he definitely needs to keep it as an option as the race progresses. It is too early to determine what will happen, but we do know that since Donald Trump is involved, practically everyone will be watching.
