Send us a textIt finally happened! TV and Hello Nurse officially tied the knot over Memorial Day weekend last week, and EstoBro was so delighted to be there for it. Throughout standing up at the wedding, he crossed paths with another groomsman that he sparked a great connection with: Seany Mags (1:15). When TV heard that one of his New York brethren was making it as a guest on the show, he had to make his slight return and give Mr. Mags an excellent opening gesture. With the ongoing opening to the TV wedding series episodes, EstoBro highlights the first time meeting Mags: taking him to his first New York Mets game in 2016 (9:00). The trio of gentlemen start the show focusing on all things Mets; from the Yankees not getting over Juan Soto leaving for Queens to the ripple effect of the Mets trading away Pete Crow-Armstrong to the Chicago Cubs. With TV back in attendance, he was happy to run a vintage version of the show with Mags and highlight the record-breaking box office weekend for the holiday (28:30). For Memorial Day weekend, Disney's live adaptation of Lilo and Stitch and the final chapter of Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible series were released on the same day. The two movies combined, alongside some other blockbuster smashes, brought in an estimated $330 million; who said going to the movies is dead? Another highlighted circumstance on why EstoBro wants Mags to come on the program is that he shares the same general interest in EDM music (46:20). Their guest even shares his story on how he knows somebody in the business, as they focus on the next major music festival coming up in New York: Governor's Ball. With EstoBro anticipating Bonnaroo in a few weeks, he encourages TV and Mr. Mags they invade this music festival in the foreseeable future as they review the lineup for this year's Governor's BallTheme song made by iamRavedadInteract with the Gents of the podcast on the following social media platforms:X (Formally known as Twitter) YouTube InstagramBlog/websiteJoin the Discord serverSubscribe to the official playlist of the podcast

EstoBro congratulates his co-host TV for his latest achievement in life: proposing to Hello Nurse (1:30). The young couple that started it all on this very podcast are now engaged and TV gives the play-by-play on how he 'popped the question' over the weekend. After celebrating TV's milestone, it is back to business as usual with the Gents delivering the long-awaited recap of the Game of the Year Awards (14:45) for 2023. The gamers decided and acknowledged Baldur's Gate 3 to win the title, succeeding Elden Ring from the year prior. The Gents highlight all the awards celebrated during the GotYs, giving them a nostalgic feel that E3 used to provide gamers (42:00), especially with all the video game trailers that are to come in 2024 and the years following. The only trailer that was not at the GotYs was the sneak peek of Grand Theft Auto VI which debuted earlier in the week. The major significance of these awards inspires many gamers to add video game titles to their backlog, and the Gents cannot wait to play the winners of this year and the teased games to come. Finally, EstoBro eats his words on what he mentioned on last week's sports episode with Juan Soto being traded to the New York Yankees (60:25). However, the news is irrelevant because baseball's biggest star Shohei Ohtani signed a historic deal worth $700 million with the Los Angeles Dodgers.Congrats to TV and Hello Nurse for getting engaged! A true love story that is celebrated on the EstoBro TV Podcast!Interact with the Gents of the podcast on the following social media platforms:TwitterInstagramFacebookTumblrEmail: estobrotvpod@gmail.com

The Gents are back on the air, and flooding your internet stream for your 2023 podcast preferences. EstoBro and TV are out for blood against Skip Bayless (0:30) when he made a very controversial tweet about Damar Hamlin after his injury during the final Monday Night Football game of the regular season. There was a major concern for the Buffalo Bills' safety after making that tackle, we are hopeful of his recovery and return to the gridiron one day. Fresh from the holiday offseason, EstoBro was excited to ring in the New Year with his co-host TV up in his neck of the woods. After sharing the adventures of New York, the Gents get to business to discuss the loss of great football icon Pelé (13:30) who passed away at the end of 2022. A major ambassador to the sport, the Brazilian legend graced the pitch to always make the game of football (soccer) beautiful for anyone spectating. Before the major break, the Gents never got a chance to highlight the end of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar (19:10), and while they discuss Pelé as a "GOAT," Lionel Messi has definitely made his case after bringing home the World Cup to Argentina. TV is hyped to dive into video games for 2023 (26:15) because he unwrapped an Xbox Series X for Christmas. EstoBro adds to the conversation on what games he played through the holidays and eventually cuts down games on the infamous backlogged video game list. The start of the year also means new season releases for anime (38:30), and the Gents want to discuss more on the topic this year especially when it crosses over to other relative genres on the show. From Chainsaw Man to Spy X Family, EstoBro and TV are ready to celebrate some of their favorite stories in many forms of media. Finally, in nerd news, the Gents also want to discuss what movies they are excited to start the year (46:30). After a weird year in film for 2022, the Gents look forward to what is coming to the movie theater in 2023 from Transformers: Rise of Beasts to the latest installment of John Wick.  In the 'Who has the munchies?' segment, EstoBro reflects on enjoying Sunday dinner at Hello Nurse's family home (64:00). TV's better half was more than welcome to have EstoBro and Mandy Hatake in her Italian home and meet her beautiful family.  EstoBro and TV are looking forward to an amazing 2023 with more shows and new guests. The Gents return from holiday break by starting the show to pay their respects to Jason David Frank (2:00), who was most famous for playing Tommy Oliver in the hit franchise Power Rangers. The impact that Frank had on the nerd world was more than substantial, infamously debuting as the Green Ranger in the franchise and being multiple Rangers throughout the history of the series. The Gents acknowledge that Frank suffered from depression and passed due to the results of suicide. EstoBro and TV relay the information about the suicide and crisis lifeline, and want the listening audience to know that they are dedicated to bringing more attention to mental health awareness. After the salutations and introduction of the hosts, EstoBro wants to put Nintendo and GameFreak on blast for fumbling the release of the latest installment of the Pokémon franchise (13:45). He has been playing Pokémon Violet since its release earlier in the month, as he relays the abysmal reviews the game has received and all of the malfunctions players are experiencing playing the game. Could this be the downfall of EstoBro's favorite franchise that he no longer purchases another Pokémon game ever again? As the subject changes back to sports, TV has been more than excited to share the early results of the World Cup taking place in Qatar (29:30). The Gents make their analysis of the competition after the series of episodes that had their review of each national team in the group stages. The attention of their home country of the United States is given the kudos they deserve, especially after advancing to the round of sixteen after defeating Iran the day after recording (38:50). The Gents also break down other countries that will be advancing, including some surprises that they did not see originally coming. As the show wraps with the 'Who has the munchies?' segment of the show, EstoBro puts TV on the spot in the regard to Thanksgiving leftovers (48:30). The creative disasters that EstoBro conspired are met with interruptions from Hello Nurse and Mandy Hatake, as his credentials of being an ambassador of Flavortown are in jeopardy.   Song credit: "1-800-273-8255" by Logic, Alessia Cara,  and Khalid from Everybody; licensing exclusively through Visionary Music Group and Def Jam Records. TV rejoins the podcast and begins reviewing with EstoBro what he has been watching lately on television. He has not been able to start the GoT: House of Dragons show on HBO because there are too many distractions (3:15), with anime being the primary form of entertainment in his household. EstoBro is tired of television and begins to flex his focus on video games (14:10) after revealing that his household is once again a part of the PS+ Network and a boatload of games topping off the backlog. Reviews from recent games like Stray and Warner Bros. MultiVersus are focused on the Sony collective, along with a co-op playthrough of Kirby and the Forgotten Land for Nintendo Switch. EstoBro even getting on board with one of TV's favorite franchises Borderlands getting added to the backlog also (23:30). The Gents review how the draft for the podcast's fantasy football league went (30:00) from over the weekend, as the two also make a diagnostic of the rosters post draft. It is football season, and the Gents finally bring attention to college football (44:00) with the recent changes that are impacting the culture, competition, and craziness that have all taken place in NCAA. Finally, the 'Who has the munchies?' segment is looking back at the weekend TV shared with Hello Nurse and her family making the first tomato sauce of the harvest season (52:15); and EstoBro is disturbed with the premature sales of pumpkin-flavored everything before the end of summer even arrives.Be sure to subscribe to all of our social media channels at the following links:TwitterInstagramFacebookTumblrEmail: estobrotvpod@gmail.com

EstoBro and TV are taken away from the recent photos of the James Webb Space Telescope that had the talk of news outlets everywhere, although the timing could have been more coincidental with the sci-fi thriller film Nope (3:00) coming out recently. With EstoBro home alone for the week, he is taking advantage of maximizing his enjoyment by catching up on video games. With his recent acquisition of a modded Nintendo Super NES (12:00), EstoBro begins the journey of conquering the 'godfathers of RPGs' with Chrono Trigger. A historical video game with a major influence on other popular franchises, EstoBro holds trial with TV on why the main character, Crono, was left off the roster of Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with DLC characters featured from Square Enix. The debate with character-roster-snubs transitions to the other universe-platform fighting game being introduced by Warner Bros: MultiVersus (31:45). The game had a major announcement with new characters featured as the Beta drops this week for gamers to download. The attention turns to the celebrated San Diego Comic Convention (42:15) which returned to having a full population at the massive nerd gathering for the first time since COVID-19 postponed the event on multiple occasions. The focus of the next phase in MCU, other comic book films, He-Man's 40th anniversary, and the anticipation for the new prequel series for Game of Thrones are what grabbed the Gents' attention in this year's panels. Closing out the focus of video games, EstoBro wants to know if TV will download the cat-simulator Stray (52:00) which was a highly anticipated game with a great number of downloads in the game's premiere week. EstoBro also gives props to TV for calling Juan Soto the winner of the Home Run Derby in the All-Star Game last week (59:30), as they both inquire their listeners if they would like to run it back for fantasy football. Finally, TV has an entry for IHMGW (67:05) when Hello Nurse takes him to the local gym in their neighborhood for a trap or a surprise? Tune in for a great show bundled up from the deepest parts of space and making sure that this podcast is broadcasting on every UFO across the universe!

This show is brought to you by a special message from Hello Nurse: porn does indeed save relationships, despite us recording an episode that had evidence that it destroyed one (episode 30). The Gents are ready to celebrate the 64th episode of the podcast by dedicating the show to one thing that brings us life: memes (11:00). After reflecting on how their Easter Sundays went, EstoBro puts TV on the spot about his reaction to the latest Kingdom Hearts news (14:10). The topic is well under discussion, as the popular video game franchise is celebrating its twentieth anniversary. The Gents also enable the fact that Disney should be giving Kingdom Hearts a great deal of more respect, before transitioning to the focus of the new Disney+ series Moon Knight (29:45). EstoBro educates TV a little bit on the latest installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as everyone is getting ready for the wave of movies that will be featured soon. The discussion turns to the NBA playoffs officially underway (38:35), as both EstoBro and TV make bold predictions on who will come out on top as champion in the next few weeks. The major focus of the competition is complemented by the inaugural class of ESPN's Hall of Fame of Sports Memes (67:30). With the anniversary of the crying Michael Jordan meme, the Gents criticize what was selected on the list and what are some honorable mentions to be honored in the HOF in the near future. The show wraps with the 'Who has the munchies?' segment (81:25), basically dedicating the food aspect of the show to the holiday this exact episode releases on. Who's That Girl? A New Girl Podcast

This podcast covers New Girl Season 2, Episode 3, Fluffer, which originally aired on October 2, 2012 and was directed by Fred Goss and written by J.J. Philbin and Kim Rosenstock. Here’s a quick recap of the episode:Jess shares with the loft mates that she’s having non-committal sex with Sam, but realizes she needs more to get in the mood. When Schmidt forces the boys to help, Nick ends up serving as her “Emotional Fluffer”. Meanwhile, Schmidt tries to convince a woman he met at a club that he’s a political candidate’s son, “Tugg Romney”. Winston is struggling in this episode as he and Shelby are in a rut.We discuss Pop Culture References such as:Mitt Romney (& Mormonism) - Schmidt pretends to be a son of politician, Mitt Romney who is also of Mormon faith. Kanye West - Schmidt wears a belt with whales on it that he says Kanye West wore. Additional Pop Culture References such as:The Walking Dead - Nick mentioned Jess was a “big girl” and could watch The Walking Dead alone. The Walking Dead is an American zombie post-apocalyptic horror television series based on the comic book series of the same name.[Jimmy] Fallon - Schmidt pretends that if he were to call Kanye West before bed, he would ask him if he was watching Fallon. James (Jimmy) Fallon is an American comedian, actor, television host, singer, writer, and producer, known for his work in television as a cast member on Saturday Night Live and is currently the host of late-night talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Notebook - Jess mentions that she and Sam had a bad makeout session and just laid there like the old people in The Notebook. The Notebook is a romantic drama movie based on a book of the same name where an elderly man comforts his wife with dementia and remembers their love story; the elderly couple is often shown as laying together quietly.Adele - Winston mentions that men and women who are just friends should never do anything concerning Adele. Adele is an English singer and songwriter known for her melodic ballads. She is one of the world’s best-selling music artists with sales of over 120 million records.Taylor Swift - Cece noticed that Schmidt was going through a “Taylor Swift range of emotions”. Taylor Swift is an American singer and songwriter known for her narrative and emotional lyricism, which often takes inspiration from her personal life. She has won 11 Grammys (3 for Album of the Year) and 23 Billboard music awards.[Law & Order] SVU - Shelby asks Winston if he wants to come upstairs and watch SVU. SVU is short for Law & Order: SVU, which is a television series following the Special Victims Unit, a specially trained squad of detectives in the N.Y.P.D., who investigate sexually related crimes. This show is a spinoff of Law & Order and has now aired 492 episodes, surpassing the original show which only had 456 episodes.[Everybody Loves] Raymond - When Winston asks if Shelby’s sure she wants to watch SVU, she mentions she’s too tired to watch Raymond. Raymond is short for the television series, Everybody Loves Raymond, which is a sitcom about the experiences of Ray Barone and his family.Moonwalking - Nick moonwalks into his room after hearing Jess play the mixtape he made for her. Moonwalking is a dance move in which the dancer glides backwards but their body actions suggest forward motion. It became popular following Michael Jackson's moonwalk during the performance of his song, "Billie Jean”. Nick’s Sexy Mixtape Songs - Nick provides Jess with a mixtape to play to help get her in the mood. Songs on that mixtape that are either listed or played in the episode are:"The Humpty Dance" - "The Humpty Dance" is a song by the rap group Digital Underground from their debut album Sex Packets. Released as the second single from the album in January 1990, it reached No. 11 on the pop chart, No. 7 on the R&B chart, and No. 1 on the Billboard Rap Singles chart."You Can Call Me Al" - Written by American singer and songwriter Paul Simon, the lyrics to “You Can Call Me Al” follow an individual seemingly experiencing a midlife crisis."LAY YOU DOWN" - The song is performed by Spank and is used in many television shows of the 2010s and beyond. We also cover Schmidt’s description of how he wants to be Kanye’s friend as the “Schmidtism” in this episode. Our “not” for “In the 2020s” was how Schmidt discussed race in this episode when talking to Winston and Cece but our “yes” for “In the 2020s” was how Nick set his own boundaries for his friendship with Jess. Additionally, we also discussed the careers of David Walton (Sam), and Taryn Southern (Megan). Also in this episode were the following guest stars who we did not discuss in the podcast: Rebecca Delgado Smith (Courtney, one of the Kappas), Anisha Adusumilli (April, another Kappa), and Tarina Pouncy (the waitress). We also talk about how Nick’s speech to Jess at the restaurant incorporated aspects of the Animaniacs in the way he said “Hello Nurse”. You can watch a clip of the Animaniacs version here and the rebooted version that inverts the gender norms here. We also talk about David Walton’s robes which you can find here. While not discussed in the podcast, we noted other references in this episode including:Olympics - When Schmidt is preparing to pretend to be a Romney, he talks about how the family had a Romney Olympics every summer which he felt would be similar to the real Olympics. The Olympic Games are an international sports competition featuring summer and winter sports where thousands of athletes from around the world compete and represent their countries. They are held every 4 years with either a Summer or Winter Olympics every 2 years. That’s All She Wrote - When Jess is considering breaking up with Sam because she needs more out of a relationship, she says the phrase “and that’s all she wrote”. This is an American idiom used to indicate when a person’s plan has come to a sudden stop and that there is nothing else to be said about the matter. While the origin of the phrase is unknown, most attribute it to the Dear John letters sent during World War II. There have also been several songs written about this phrase. This episode got an 8/10 Rating from Kritika and an 8.5/10 from Kelly and we both had the same favorite character: Nick! Thanks for listening and stay tuned for Episode 4!Music: "Hotshot” by scottholmesmusic.comFollow us on Twitter, Instagram or email us at whosthatgirlpod@gmail.com!Website: https://smallscreenchatter.com/

The Gents return after a short-term hiatus with a special live show live from the 99th Avenue Studios in Tampa, FL! TV spent the past couple of weeks in town with EstoBro visiting while Young Jaimé was having a hard time getting it together for the show, but all is well that ends well and the show is back to business as usual. The Gents jumped into the exact moment where the tournament of NCAA Men's March Madness (4:48) is going on during the Sweet Sixteen, followed by the results on what happened after the NBA trade deadline (6:50) with TV and EstoBro as winners and Young Jaimé simping over Lou Williams. EstoBro was more than thrilled that TV joined his dynasty-fantasy baseball league this season, and the pair cannot wait for baseball season to get underway (21:15); predicting what the results will be from teams in the MLB. Everyone got the munchies during the show, so TV ordered KFC to celebrate that restaurant's win in the first annual "Chicken Sandwich Wars" (32:00) that was assisted by friends of the podcast: Commissioner Comic Book, Mandy Hatake, and Hello Nurse! The panel that participated in the Chicken Sandwich Wars also assisted the Gents with a side-project the Gents had with the 4 Nerds 1 Podcast (46:45), as they were tasked to determine which female comic book characters were the most symbolic in honor of Women's History Month. Where the Gents found the winner of their bracket, the winner of this tournament will be decided on the 4 Nerds 1 Podcast with other contributors in future collaboration. For the remainder of the episode, the Gents breaks down Zack Snyder's cut of Justice League being released and the ripple effect that it has across the Internet (80:20); even further with discussing the reaction after the red band trailer dropped for The Suicide Squad (93:30). Again, we apologize for our brief hiatus and we are more than excited to bring our listeners more content from here on out!

We will select a one listener review at random at the end of January! Leave your review today and listen later on February 3rd to see if you're the winner! Brain for Brain The Brain is tired of Pinky messing up his plans to take over the world so he kicks Pinky out of the lab and uses a duplication ray to create a clone! But "Brain #2" doesn't want to be an assistant and steals the ray. Brain realizes he made a mistake in firing Pinky and begs him to return. Before you know it, there are hundreds of Brains in the lab and they all want Pinky for their assistant! How will Pinky and the Brain get rid of all the duplicates? Nathan and Joey discuss their favorite moments in this very funny comic. The quality of the art and writing is quite good and the story could have even been good enough to be on TV! Frankly Frankenstein The Warners hitch a ride in a crate traveling to Austria and make their way to Castle Frankenstein. The only problem is, Doctor Frankenstein is actually Dr. Frankensniff and he looks a lot like an evil Dr. Scratchansniff. To make things even more confusing Igor looks like Hello Nurse and the Monster looks like Mr. Plotz! This comic has a surprise ending that is slightly amusing, but doesn't have the gags that one would expect from a Warners cartoon. Join the Party! They discuss their favorite jokes, gags, and discuss all the cultural references they can find in "Wakko's 2-Note Song," "Panama Canal," "Hello Nurse," "The Ballad of Magellan," "The Return of the Great Wakkorotti," and "The Big Wrap Party Tonight." Wakko's 2-Note Song/Panama Canal/Hello Nurse/The Ballad of Magellan/The Return of the Great Wakkorotti/The Big Wrap Party Tonight Wakko's 2-Note Song Dr. Scratchansniff is taking the Warners for a car ride, as Wakko begins playing the same two notes on his accordion.  At first Dr. Scratchansniff hates the noise, but by the end he loves the music! There’s plenty for the hosts to talk about in this segment, and the tune is quite catchy. Panama Canal It’s an educational song from Yakko all about the Panama Canal.  As a teacher, Joey is able to help decide if this is classroom appropriate, while Kelly and Nathan discuss what they have learned. Hello Nurse Wakko takes the lead in this song praising Hello Nurse for things other than her beauty.  In this song we found out the Hello Nurse is actually a genius, with several PhDs and other flattering attributes. The hosts discuss their favorite moments as well as the similarities to Roger Rabbit! The Ballad of Magellan Another classic educational song, where the Warners teach us all about the Explorer Magellan.  The hosts discuss their favorite moments, and everything they know about the real Magellan The Return of the Great Wakkorotti The Great Wakkorotti is back but is unable to burp, after losing his voice. Luckily he has a little trick up his sleeve. Music never smelled so sweet in this rendetion of a classic nutcracker song. Joey, Nathan, and Kelly discuss the segment and how it compares to the other Wakkorottis we’ve seen. The Big Wrap Party Tonight The perfect song to close out the season.  This song almost certainly has the most cameos of any Animaniacs song, with nearly every Animaniacs character as well as a few Looney Tunes and Tiny Toons Characters. Joey tries to name all the celebrities and Kelly gets excited about one in particular. Join the Party! Head on over to Discord.Animanicast.com today to join our RetroZap discussion group. "This Pun for Hire," "Star Truck," "Go Fish," and "The Multiplication Song" This Pun for Hire It’s a tour de force of puns and cameos in this Film Noir Parody. The Warners are on the case from Hello Nurse to find Dr. Scratchansniff, and end up running into Ralph the Guard and Minerva Mink as the plot twists into something else. As the title suggests, there are puns a plenty.  We also get our first cameo from Freakazoid, and another cameo from *gasp* Steven Spielberg! Kelly explains the fast moving plot of the episode, while Nathan and Joey discuss as many jokes and references as possible. Duh, by gad, sir, I claim this segment to be worth listening to. Star Truck It’s Animaniacs meets Star Trek, when the Warners find themselves in an episode of their favorite show, Star Truck.  There are so many references to the original show and movies, that there are plenty of jokes for a Trekkie and casual viewer alike. Joey, Nathan, and Kelly go over as many as possible. Go Fish Wakko plays Go Fish by himself, but then starts accusing himself of cheating. It’s a great segment, but it does bring up questions of Wakko’s sanity.  Dot might say it best: "I'm worried about the Beaver." Randy Beaman Segment It's another story from our favorite kid, Colin.  We also find out what Randy Beaman has been up to for almost thirty years. Multiplication Song In a song reminiscent to Tom Lehrer’s ‘New Math’, Yakko explains how to multiple 47 times 83.  It’s more fun than educational, And the hosts have fun discussing their feelings about math Different Ways to Support Our Show If you'd like to support out show there's lots of ways to do it! Moone Boy and Nowhere Fast‘s Clare Monnelly joins us to talk about Animaniacs. We love Animaniacs a whole lot so it was an extreme pleasure to geek out about it for fifty minutes with our new best friend Clare. We talked about getting meta jokes as a child, the hidden filthy jokes, Pinky And The Brain, Good Idea Bad Idea, Chicken Boo, Slappy Squirrel, Hello Nurse, and all the gang. We also talked about just how impressive Rob Paulsen’s rendition of Yakko’s World is, being scared of Ren & Stimpy, renting games from Xtra-Vision, and the Commodore 64. Jess Harnell invited us up to his home in the water tower of Warner Brothers studios. Jess told us incredible stories about his work on one of the greatest cartoons of all time, Animaniacs, and what it was like working with Steven Spielberg. Jess has an absolutely fascinating career that has influenced pop culture, the animation business and has left a crater size impact on all of our childhoods. We learned stories about his work as the voice of Disneyland rides, his badass wardrobe, and his heavy metal band that has opened for AC/DC. Hello Nurse...it's time for THE NIGHT TIME SHOW!
