Lindsay Glavan played Division I NCAA Women's Ice Hockey at Mercyhurst University in Erie, Pa. She graduated in 2005 having scored 63 points in 139 games as a Mercyhurst Laker and led the team as assistant captain in her junior and senior years. The Lakers were conference champions each year and made their NCAA Tournament debut in March 2005. With support from others in October of 2023, Lindsay started an all-girls team, Garfield Heights Bulldogs, in Garfield Heights, Ohio. They compete against both all-girls and co-ed teams, with a majority of games played locally. Players from the Bulldogs Girls Ice Hockey Team have gone on to join competitive teams in the Cleveland Suburban Hockey League, represent their high school teams in the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA), and play for the Gilmour Gladiators Tier II girls program. In addition to coaching, Lindsay advocates for girls hockey. She understands the power of all girls teams to positively shape a girl's hockey experience, confidence and leadership qualities. Former LA Kings forward Tony Granato joins host Jesse Cohen to talk about his time in a Kings jersey and his upcoming games as a Kings broadcaster. Granato played in 380 regular season games for the LA Kings from 1990 to 1996 and was a crucial part of the Kings team that reached the Stanley Cup Final in 1993. John Lind is the Director of Education and Research at the Swedish Ice Hockey Association. He has a background as a player at the junior national team level and later worked as a coach and manger within Swedish ice hockey before taking on his current role at the Association. John is part of IIHF:s advisory group on education, as well as part of the TIDES Network, a group of international researchers who aims to conduct research and provide practical guidelines on talent identification in sports. John has co-authored studies in both psychology and physiology, with a particular focus on research in biological maturity in hockey, which has gained significant attention internationally.
