At this point, the concept of the seasons of our menstrual cycles has become familiar to many of us. In other words, considering our inner winter as menstruation, inner spring as follicular, inner summer as ovulatory, and inner fall as luteal. And if you haven't yet heard that description, there's a quick introduction to it. But there's a difference between speaking these words, or seeing them written, and actually embodying them. There's more to these archetypes than just the seasons themselves. And as today's guest, herbalist and menstrual health coach Em Dewey shares, learning to familiarize herself with these seasons as they show up uniquely in her own cycle (vs what the picture perfect version looks like) completely changed her relationship with her body. Her initiation into cyclic living and embracing her own patterns opened up an entirely new world for her. One in which she dove deeply into archetypal energies beyond the seasons, and explored the lunar cycle, animals, plants, the tarot and more as they related to her own cycling body. She was so taken by this journey that she started an herbal company based on cycle wellness AND co-authored a divinatory oracle deck (Sacred Cycles) that helps you to more deeply understand some of these archetypal energies and your own body rhythms on a deeper level. Listen in to hear all about:what an archetype ishow to deepen your cycle awareness with archetypal energieswhat we both consider to be missing from the "maiden, mother, crone" trifectaways not only the seasons, but lunar rhythms, plants and even tarot can relate to your cyclea couple simple ways to start cycle tracking for self awarenesshow Em's relationship to her body changed through cycle connectionResources:Shownotes: Get the Sacred Cycles Deck + Em's linksEpisode 28: Rhythms of your wombEpisode 38: Your cycle is a vital signEpisode 66: What's your irregular cycle telling you?FREE GUIDE: Track your cycle with fertility awareness If you loved this episode, share it with a friend, or take a screenshot and share on social media and tag me @herbalwombwisdom. This is why we have given you a chance to pause for breath. Which frankly, was much needed after the 8 collaborative beauties we have delivered so far on EPs I & II. Staggering these, er, staggering Decade EP releases to give you ample time to digest fully the magnitude of the creativity so far felt like the right thing to do, but resting on our laurels for too long is just not in our DNA, so here we go again, comrades. Here are tracks 9-12 in Selador's relentless charge to dominate this thing we call clubland through 2023. 4 more collaborations, 8 more artists, but the number of calories lost dancing to these beauties, the number of dancefloors that will erupt as they ooze out of speaker stacks worldwide – well, your guess is as good as ours! So without any further ado, let us introduce you to the extended family members at the controls for Volume 3. Hannes Bieger x Luke Brancaccio x Gai Barone: ‘Reflections Like a long-lost love child of ‘French Kiss'and ‘Sacred Cycles', our titanic trio have created a hypnotic masterpiece that immediately takes up welcome residence in the deepest recesses of your bonce, before washing over you like the warmest of sonic seas. Just Her x Smash TV: ‘All I See is Us' Two artists who have been with us since back in the proverbial day, team up for bass-busting beast where whipcracking percussion underpins a plethora of roof-raising riffage. Endlessly energising electronica for the ages worthy of the alliteration. Darkside Vinyl x Rancido: ‘Omega' Nurse, my pills! This is getting crazy, as another Selador stalwart, the man like Darksidevinyl, teams up with label debutant Rancido for this high-octane slice of melodic afro jackery-pokery that stomps like a herd of thirsty wildebeest spotting a desert oasis. Humungous. Stelios Vassiloudis x Just Her: ‘Weightless' Guess who's back, back again? Yep, after a quick half marathon between studio sessions, Just Her joins forces with another long-time label friend, the inimitable Stelios Vassiloudis, for a unique slice of rulebook-trashing, quirky organic techno with Claire's wondrous vocal to the fore. Let's have our annual end of the year reflections! In this episode, I talk all about how my 'unbound' year has brought divine lessons and blessings, as well as how my 2023 word 'devotion' came to me and how I hope and think it will serve me. I bring in three journal prompts in this episode for you to use to reflect on '22/'23 yourself: 1. How have I been soft to myself this year? 2. How have I lived unbound this year? (or: How have I gone beyond my self-imposed boundaries this year?) 3. What will I bring into 2023? I also pull three cards from the Sacred Cycles oracle deck. What is your word of 2023? Let me know! My guest today is the healing author, Stella Tomlinson. Stella is a Priestess and author of three books, including 'Cycles of Belonging: Honouring ourselves through the sacred cycles of life', published by Womancraft Publishing. Her offerings are based on over 20 years' experience in personal and spiritual healing and development through meditation, yoga, mindfulness, energy healing and Goddess and nature spirituality and she's been teaching and writing in these fields since 2011. In this episode we explored the relevance of the various cycles of life - including breath, circadian, sacred blood, the moon, the life cycles and goddess archetypes. What You'll Learn from this Episode: Often our first experience of feminine cyclical living can be that of shame, when we experience our first bleed - connecting to our cycles in adulthood as we learn more about them can be very healing Life is not linear, it operates in spirals - yet often we can fear the spiral path because it is messy and we long for control. Yet, a life of magic isn't linear, so we have to choose to unlock cyclical living to fully embrace soul There's often a beauty found in the darkness of the winter of each cycle - an initiation into death and rebirth that is so powerful The temptation in the spiritual path is to ascend beyond the darkness, and this is the beauty of working with both the Witch archetype and the winter of our cycles; they show us the beauty to be found in facing our truth and the possibility there is to be reborn. In each of our cycles, we have a liminal space - that phase between where we are and where we are going, or the phase between wake and sleep - and it is in this liminal space where the magic occurs. The various stages in the lifecycles of the goddess archetypes of Maiden, Lover, Mother, Queen and Crone offer us a chance to choose to reinitiate ourselves into Resources and things that we spoke about: The Highly Sensitive Person - Elaine Aron Code Red - Lisa Lister Red School - Sjanie Hugo Wurlitzer and Alexandra Pope - (We highly recommend reading ‘Wild Power' by them, too) Cycles of Belonging - Stella Tomlinson Stella's Official Website: stellatomlinson.com Stella's Instagram: @stellatomlinson.priestess Thank you for listening, we'd love to know what comes alive for you in this week's episode, so please let us know! Our cycle is something sacred, insightful and powerful yet often so misunderstood. After years of shame and dissociating from it, we finally found both of ourselves trying to understand it for various health and fertility reasons. So you can imagine how thrilled we were when we connected over Instagram with the incredibly knowledgeable and kind, Em Dewey from Garden of the Moon, @gardenofthemoon. Listening to her knowledge of our cycle — how to work with it through cycle tracking and how we can support it in its entirety (not just when we bleed) through herbs, self-care ritual and more — was fascinating, empowering and oh so validating. This episode is a blend of knowledge bombs and personal experience. We hope it inspires you to ask questions, to get curious, to listen to your own intuition and to connect deeper with your own sacred cycle. Be sure to give Em a follow so you can learn more about her sacred cycle oracle deck @sacredcycleoracle and journal, her cycle support kits, lunar ritual teas and more. In this week's episode, Medium Kareen brings on shamanic healer Carrie Konyha to talk about the sacred cycles of power. Carrie delves into the various cycles of power, from zodiac signs to planetary orbits to personal circadian rhythms. She shares in this episode how important our energy is and how we use our masculine and feminine energy throughout our days. The 4 different seasons of our cycles are Summer, Spring, Autumn and Winter; much like mother nature. How we show up in each season is how to create lives where we regularly get to choose ourselves. When we create space for ourselves to be with ourselves, we are devoting and committing to ourselves each day. This gives us the opportunity to do things energetically and intentionally. Hi friends! Welcome to a truly grounding episode with one of my very best friends, Catherine Skolnicki. Catherine is here in service to life through stillness, listening, remembering, envisioning, creating, and forever learning. Her current and developing mediums are: herbalism, education, healing and visual arts, photography, and story. We cover many things in this episode. We talk about ways to honor our bodies' cycles, some ways to connect deeper with the land, ancestral healing, and deep compassion and love for self which inevitably means deep compassion and love for others. @catskolnicki Here are some resources that we chat about in the episode! I am so excited for today's conversation. I feel like this topic should be in school curriculums. My guest today is Raven Rose. Raven is a reproductive health herbalist and traditional medicine practitioner. She has studied women's Herbalism and traditional healing practices in Denver, Colorado, the Yucatán, and the Peruvian Amazon. In her journey, Raven was able to overcome debilitating period pain through embracing her cyclical body, restoring ancestral wisdom, and connection to nature. In her work she helps others bring balance to their cyclical bodies through connection with plants, ancestral guides, and grounded spiritual practice. In today's episode Raven shares: Her own journey in healing her menstrual cycle Learning to recognize when your body is trying to tell you something Her experience with Kambo and how it helps her clients detoxify spiritually, mentally and physically How our menstrual phases are connected to the phases of the moon and how we can leverage that energy to our advantage and get into a state of flow as opposed to pushing How we go through different cycles of creation and destruction How to connect with your cycle wisdom
Scot Project - B2 ( Blind boy can see/Fountain) - Preview/Radio edit During the Pandemic i´ve found a couple of unreleased tracks on my hard drives and one of them is B2 ( Blind Boy Can See/ Fountain) I made this Track in 2010 and it still sounds fresh in my opinion and deserves to see the daylight :) Its very chilled compared to my usual stuff and i thought it just fits perfect into the difficult situation we all have to face. There will be light at the end of the tunnel, we just have to be strong and confident … The Track is inspired by Genesis (Phil Collins first Band) and their Track „Fountain of Salmacis“ from 1971. this was used also for the famous dance track „ Sacred Cycles“ by Pete Lazonby in 1994. I use Bandcamp for this special Release, you can get the full release here www.scotproject.bandcamp.com Youtube: https://youtu.be/l9ld5Fs0js8

If you have listened to my Sacred Cycles episode of my podcast you will know I have a love affair with my monthly cycles, my blood flow and all of the divine sensations that swirl through my body each month. I can only claim this deep passion for my inner wisdom because I have spent decades releasing blocks, shame, pain and society’s taboos around periods, bleeding and all of the wonder that comes with it.This week I want to share with you a supremely connected and beautiful practice that I have been devoted to for many years. I only recently heard that it has a label and that is Free Bleeding.
In this week’s podcast, I am talking with stress reduction specialist and holistic health expert Diana Lane. Tune in as Diana shares her compelling story of shifting her career from a premed heart surgeon to an Acupuncturist, Herbalist and Reiki Master. We jam on the Sacred Cycle Sisterhood and the importance of this type of connection for women, why it is vital to change the paradigm around our cycles, and how to create more understanding and awareness of your own cycle. With over 17 years of experience, Diana specializes in women’s wellness, (specifically adrenal fatigue/stress, cycle issues and insomnia) and has a private practice in an integrative clinic in Austin, Texas. Diana is the perfect blend of science and Wu, incorporating spiritual acupuncture, herbalism, the esoteric arts, body work, nutritional consulting, sound therapy and crystal healing into her multifaceted medical practice. She recently launched a movement (including a Fb group and women’s retreat program) supporting women called The Sacred Cycles Sisterhood. For her own Sacred Self-Care time she enjoys outdoor adventures, yoga and hosting community oriented meditation and movement experiences, in a sacred space for transformation, that create soulful connections with her Holistic Healing Event company called Moon Medicine Magic. You can find more about Diana and her offerings at www.moonmedicinemagic.com or on FaceBook in her group Sacred Cycles Sisterhood. or her biz page, Moon Medicine Magic.
How I healed myself and reclaimed my creativity and freedom
Ancient cultures have celebrated the coming into womanhood with ceremony and ritual. But we have lost this connection to our bleed, to our cycles, and we have forgotten the powers within us, the sacred energy we harness that can only be accessed by connecting to our natural rhythms. That of our blood, our womb, and the moon. In this week's podcast Mat and Ash interview Leanna Pareja, the co-creator of Spirit Woman, which is both a community and educational space for woman to reconnect with the divine feminine, sacred ritual, ceremony, and ancient traditions that connect us with our bleed and sacred cycles. Leanna talks to us about what it means to become a woman through rite of passage and explains why we might be disconnected to our cycles. Through our cycles, we as woman have access to our super powers of intuition, creativity, foresight, and many other extra abilities. But our cycles are not just during our bleed, they last a full lunar cycle. How does the moon affect our cycles? What types of transformations are we actually experiencing during a 28 day period and how do we tap into the deeper powers of our bleed? What are the four seasons a woman goes through each month? How do we honor each season and make the most of being a goddess? How do we track our cycles and why should we? Even Mathew shares how this new knowledge has transformed his relationship with Ash and enhanced their lives together! This podcast is basically bad ass and everyone, man and woman needs to hear this!
