Soms zelfde een vierde man. Support the show: https://krant.nlSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

It would be a surprise if we had a Premier League weekend that didn't include an apology from PGMOL to a club. This week was part of the status quo. After a monumental human error in communication between the VAR and the Match official in the Spurs/Liverpool game, Howard Webb and the PGMOL was sending their heartfelt 'sorries' to Liverpool. In a weekend that had great results and stories across the division, the only story that is being talked about after the fact is the VAR mistake. Check out how Sean and James break it down. Jimbo convenes with Carl Anka, Tim Spiers and Sasha Goryunov after a Premier League weekend full of shocks and surprises. Tottenham leave it extremely late to continue their unbeaten run and defeat 9-man Liverpool. Real Madrid win 2-0 goals by Rodrygo and Bellingham to kickoff the season the right way. Still issues I saw with the formation and alot mistakes by many players. Kepa signed to provide more competition to Lunin in goal. Courtios and Militao injured out for at least for 6 months no plans for signing another defender. Mbappe seems to have turn the tables again and he staying in PSG. Formation issues troubling the forwards and midfielders they have too many players who love to dribble than pass the ball. We're back! After a brief hiatus with all our games having been cancelled, the Plus Davers return with a bang to sneak in the last episode before Christmas. The festive spirit is flowing this week (figuratively and literally) and the show quickly descends into carnage with the bleep machine really being put to the test as Dave, Dags and Elio struggle to maintain any semblance of decorum. The only thing wilder than this podcast is the match we look back on and discuss - trying to make heads or tails of a spectacular end-to-end home draw with Liverpool that had nearly everything from goals to missed chances to sendings off and multiple penalty claims. Join us once again for a jolly good, unfiltered chat about Spurs Liverpool as well as another round of 'Challenge Elio', all topped off with a fast-deteriorating standard of professionalism and major shots fired at certain Sky Sports pundits and certain rival London clubs. Merry Christmas Spurs fans!

It's that time of the week again, ladies and gents!Ruairi and Tommi are ready to chat some football, starting from the Premier League's midweek action. Atalanta-Roma, Milan-Napoli and Spurs-Liverpool are only some of the ones you should be looking forward to!We also take a look at the borderline racist narrative around the Africa Cup of Nations... Jürgen, did you really mean what you said?!As for our Weekly Topic, who else could we talk about if not Kun Agüero? A day after his retirement from football at only 33, we take a look at the life and accomplishments of the most complete strikers to ever play the game. And if you say you don't get goosebumps when *that* commentary plays... nah, we don't believe you! Finally, it's time for our Passaparola Quiz! Liverpool 2-1 Tottenham... This one is for Mike to cover.... I thought Spurs were great. I thought Aurier was great. I thought Spurs could have won but Liverpool did. Happens. Draw was fair, Win was deserved. Liverpool are fucking good and I hate them for it. Sheffield United 2-3 Manchester United. Henderson gets his first start and shits the bed giving up a goal early. United scored good goals. And won. Rashford, Martial get off the mark and Pogba does it will. Just have those moments - because they are talented, but still don't control games. They did what they were supposed to do. Sheffield are a disaster and they are fucked. They have 1 point and fought for their goals. Wolves 2-1 Chelsea Tepid performance from Chelsea, losing two on the bounce. Got hit on the counter. Went up via Giroud, but then huffed and puffed. Wolves as they do, grow into the game. Podence with the first then Neto at the death as Chelsea were pushing.... Sometimes you have to take your point and know its not your day. Its a marker showing Chelsea aren't ready mentality wise. Big for Wolves... Playing a different way hoping for Jimenez to return. Man City 1-1 West Brom What the actual fuck. More boring City unable to create anything. Had decent chances I suppose and were up a goal. Looked like they might see it out, but then gave up a scruffy goal.... Huffed and puffed and West Brom were up to the challenge. City dropping points to West Brom is bad, but the performance and the problems with finishing reared their head again... City could have won late with 2 point blank shots that he keeper saved... two more points DROPPED but unbeaten. Arsenal 1-1 Southampton Arsenal very poor again. Walcott scored early on a turn over and a lovely chip over Leno. Southampton looked like the slick passing outfit and Arsenal of old. Auba got off the mark due to the work of Saka who was the only player fighting. Gabrial sent off with two quick yellows in the middle of the second half. Rest of the game was full of defensive fight. But Arsenal are still winless in 5 at the Emirates... the wolves at bay for now... but its not great at Arsenal. And more! ------------------------------------- Crap football, crap pundit - Since 1894, providing amateur, crap football punditry with a severe Manchester City bias. I don't hate your team, I just hate you. I'm middle aged, I'm American, I never played football (or soccer for that matter) and I may not have actually watched your team play, but I'll talk about it anyway. Mike and Stead are joined this week by London Sean, the third guy, and our gang to discuss the week. Los and Will discuss the upcoming Spurs Liverpool game and we are also joined by Cam to give is a Celtic Update. Sean and G chime in on the woes of Arsenal as well.
On an overwhelmingly crowded day in the Premier League, we break down all six games from start to finish culminating with the clash of title challengers at Anfield. We argue that while the margins were incredibly thin Liverpool may have marginally edged it because of the way they induced an extra level of fatigue from Spurs that no other opponent has. Plus, we conclude nothing has been learned in the title race and wonder whether Son's offside decision exposes an inherent flaw in VAR that undermines the purpose of the system entirely. But first, we discuss all the other games. We praise the brilliance of Jack Harrison, suggest Fulham are trending past Brighton despite an uninspiring showing from both, and wonder whether Leicester can learn to break down opponents when dominating possession. We also discuss one of the most stunning overhead volleys you'll ever see at the London Stadium, praise the progress (no matter how slight) that Arsenal's attack made, and swoon over yet another tactical masterstroke by Carlo Ancelotti.
