Their anecdotal evidence bears out another element of the PRRI study: Spiritual people are, generally, happier, than nonspiritual people. According to the study, 61 percent of spiritual but not religious people and 70 percent of spiritual and religious people reported being “very” or “completely” satisfied with their life, compared to just 53 percent of those who were religious but not spiritual, and 47 percent of those who were neither.”Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/user?u=58401706&fan_landing=true)

All of these things were things I needed to learn as well as technical vocabulary.”“I wish I would have realized earlier that programming for many is a new way of thinking, mostly If you’re not used to breaking down problems into logic and putting everything in particular orders. Its a completely new approach to what you may be used to especially if you come from more of a creative field.”“While I was in my marketing roles I was trying to learn how to code. I would bug our developers and do things like Code Academy. But I hit these blockers and I didn’t really know who to ask. It was hard to figure out on my own. Abstract: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) rapidly transformed into a global pandemic, for which a demand for developing antivirals capable of targeting the SARS-CoV-2 RNA genome and blocking the activity of its genes has emerged. In this work, we propose a database of SARS-CoV-2 targets for siRNA approaches, aiming to speed the design process by providing a broad set of possible targets and siRNA sequences. Beyond target sequences, it also displays more than 170 features, including thermodynamic information, base context, target genes and alignment information of sequences against the human genome, and diverse SARS-CoV-2 strains, to assess whether siRNAs targets bind or not off-target sequences. This dataset is available as a set of four tables in a single spreadsheet file, each table corresponding to sequences of 18, 19, 20, and 21 nucleotides length, respectively, aiming to meet the diversity of technology and expertise among labs around the world concerning siRNAs design of varied sizes, more specifically between 18 and 21nt length. We hope that this database helps to speed the development of new target antivirals for SARS-CoV-2, contributing to more rapid and effective responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. Joel Stransky is most famous for kicking the winning drop goal against the All Blacks to win the 1995 Rugby World Cup final. He scored all 15 points for the Springboks, which helped unite a divided South Africa with President Nelson Mandela using the sport of rugby to bring people together.

World War II Movie Night gets edgy with the 1977 Sam Peckipah feature "Cross of Iron." Reviled upon its release, COI has grown in esteem the last few decades, helped along by famous fans such as Quentin Tarantino. Violence and betrayal reign as the German army retreats from the Russians, and everyman Steiner has to contend with Machiavellian climber Stransky. A different kind of movie than we're used to, does "Cross of Iron"'s emphasis on the mental and physical toll of war--and its anti-patriotism--make it the post-Vietnam World War II movie?... Asides include a Charlie Brown movie and the psychedelic aesthetic of the '70s.

Butterflies have always fascinated me, there’s something about butterflies and the transformation process that provides a sense of hope and connection to divinity or Source. I know that many of us are experiencing a deep sense of being in the chrysalis alchemy at a collective level. So when I received a message from Michelle Stransky about the process of transformation and the cocoon that she is living in right now, I knew I had to share it with others. Sometimes we don’t know where we’re going, and we’re in these “in between” phases which is challenging but we have an internal GPS and blueprint for what we can bring and become. What is required is trust, time, and a container - this chrysalis... today, Michelle shares how she is living in this process and shares wisdom from her own personal knowing. I met Michelle in an organization she started called WisdomWomen, which is in its own process of transformation. In this episode, Michelle talks about her trajectory from a corporate career to Wisdom 2.0 and saying YES to starting her own project, WisdomWomen, which has led to a way of living and being that she never anticipated. Michelle shares how she has had to dismantle and “undo” ways of having and participating in community, her experience living a nomadic lifestyle and in the “gift economy,” what it is, how she got started and the many ways it’s shaping her life. We cover trust, synchronicities, relationships and of course fear and scarcity mentality around money... and all the ways Michelle has had to face them and overcome them. Michelle shares her vision for the future and words of wisdom for those just starting out on this journey.
