Richie Bravo, einst ein gefeierter Schlagerstar, jagt im winterlichen Rimini seinem verblichenen Ruhm hinterher. Mit Auftritten vor Bustouristen und Liebesdiensten an weiblichen Fans finanziert er seinen ausschweifenden Lebensstil zwischen Dauerrausch und Spielsucht. Als eines Tages seine erwachsene Tochter vor ihm steht und das Geld einfordert, das er ihr nie gegeben hat, beginnt seine Welt zu kollabieren. Regisseur Ulrich Seidl stand zuletzt in der Kritk wegen des zweiten Teils seiner „filmischen Diptychons über zwei Brüder“: Beim Dreh von „Sparta“ wurde laut Spiegel Recherchen das Wohl der rumänischen Kinderdarsteller gefährdet.

Überschattet von Vorwürfen, der österreichische Regisseur habe bei Dreharbeiten Kinder ausgenutzt, startet diese Woche Ulrich Seidls neuer Film "Rimini" in den Kinos. „Was mit den Eltern der Kinder abgesprochen wurde, kann ich nicht sagen, was ich sagen kann, ist, dass die Eltern der acht Laiendarsteller uns gegenüber angeben, dass ihnen über das Thema Pädophilie explizit nichts gesagt wurde“, so die Journalistin Pascale Müller im Interview mit SWR2 Kultur Aktuell. Sie ist Teil des Recherche-Teams des Magazins „Der Spiegel“, das schwere Vorwürfe gegen die Dreharbeiten bei Ulrich Seidls neuem Film „Sparta“ erhebt. So sollen in Rumänien minderjährige Laiendarsteller ausgenutzt und schlecht behandelt worden sein sollen. In einem gerade veröffentlichten Statement hält Seidl entgegen, dass er die Familien sehr wohl über das Thema seines Films informiert habe: „Allerdings verwendet er nicht das Wort „Pädophilie“, sondern spricht von ambivalenten Verhältnissen der Hauptfigur gegenüber Kindern“, so Müller. Die Eltern der Kinder hätten ihr gegenüber angegeben, keine ausreichende Vorbereitung und Information bekommen zu haben. Auch über eine Duschszene sollen sie nicht informiert worden sein: „Was ich sagen kann, ist, dass Kinder uns gegenüber angegeben haben, dass sie bis auf die Unterhose entkleidet waren und ihnen dies unangenehm war. Das scheinen wohl Szenen gewesen sein, wo ihnen nicht erklärt worden sei, warum sie gedreht wurden.“ Am Freitag soll „Sparta“ beim Toronto International Film Festival Premiere haben.

Con Boris Sollazzo parliamo di "Bullet train", film d'azione con l'inedita coppia Brad Pitt - Sandra Bullock che si svolge sullo Shinkansen, il velocissimo treno che collega Tokyo a Kyoto e di "200 metri", ovvero la distanza che separa il protagonista dalla sua famiglia, divisa dal muro tra israeliani e palestinesi in Cisgiordania, al centro del film d'esordio di Ameen Nayfeh. Il regista Ulrich Seidl ci parla del suo ultimo film, "Rimini" dove in una riviera romagnola coperta dalla neve Richie Bravo, cantante melodico austriaco ormai in declino, ma che non ha perso le sue armi da seduttore, farà un incontro che lo metterà di fronte ai fantasmi del passato. Infine "Men" di Alex Garland, primo horror del regista di Ex-Machina e Annientamento.
