In this episode of the Revenue Accelerator Podcast, we have invited Adil Amarsi. Adil has 20 years of expertise and is considered one of the top underground copywriters working today. While living the life he desires in London, he has amassed almost $500,000,000 in profit for his clients. By the time Adil hit his 32nd birthday, he had written 14,722 campaigns and ads. Join me in my conversation with Adil as he shares his journey to success! Why should you care about what Adil does?[02:23]Adil has never been known as your run-of-the-mill copywriter since he spent a lot of time honing his craft and was always self-conscious about it. Adil loves being around people, but he doesn't like being grouped in with expectations.Copy and Content[05:47]There is a massive difference between copywriting and content writing. When it comes down to actual content writing, it is all about telling good stories. [09:08]How do you put feelings into a story or script for a material that allows people to feel as if 'you are there with them?'[14:06]Read your emails and your messages out loud. If you could hear yourself say what you wrote for them, you'd accept that connection request. You would never tell someone in person what they write in an email or a message after meeting them for the first time.[15:06]When you go through your sales letter writing, you essentially want to look at the conversational tone. You start with the big benefit, you create an open-loop, introduce yourself, and go through your own story - why you're there, why you're important, why you did what you did.The playground effect[17:13]The playground effect is understanding how you can put your own story. Have your ideas, angles, and hooks, while selling it in a way that's unique and saving yourself a lot of time. Structured chaos[26:34]It is the gray space between influence and manipulation. Creativity is chaotic energy. What is the story-based approach?[28:30]A story-based approach is identifying what drove you to what you're doing. What is your point of no return in the middle of the milestones? All your milestones are all the things you thought would never happen at one point or another. Long-form sales page and pulling content to drive traffic to the offer[47:59]Universally, you can use this in DMs. You can use these email sequences. You can do whatever it is that you want to do. Find what you love to do, and then use Adil's ideas to do it better, easier, and quicker. You're always going to need sales copy, and it works on every level. The balance between nurture and sales[48:38]It's the equivalent of asking someone you like out on a date and making an offer to them. If you wrote it annoyingly, they would be annoyed. But if you understand how to write with prose, humor, and write with different styles, you end up having fun conversations with someone you don't know that might get them to say yes.Things you need to take to heart and implement in your business to succeed[59:42]Don't tell fake stories. Be ethical in how you do things. Be chill with people. Give credit where credit is due. And finally, have fun with the process.Discover how Adil Amarsi runs through creating processes in his business and clients by visiting: https://adilamarsi.com/ Hosted on Acast. Stories sell. Want to know why it's so powerful? Today Richard and Kylie talk to copywriting genius Adil Amarsi. From 2008 to 2020, his copy helped his clients make over $700 million (that's $700,000,000.00) in confirmed sales. He's worked in a variety of niches and brands. His approach is story-based, and he specializes in understanding (and telling) the client's core story. Here's a short version of his process: Why did you start doing what you are doing? What is a place in life that you've left behind that you can't go back to? That is the place to start your story. (See the free resource link below to get the full formula) Adil explains a great example of working with a client who didn't think she had a story anyone would want to hear. This is something Richard and Kylie experience all the time with the healers and heart-centered entrepreneurs they work with. Hear how he helped her identify her story (it's powerful) and how she discovered the direct connection it has to the work she's doing today. What is your origin story? Where do you come from? Think about your favorite movie or TV show. It's something you've enjoyed even if you didn't call it that. What is so much a part of you that it's always been there? That's a great place to start! Would your clients be able to tell your origin story? There are 7 basic plots. Using these formulas can help you tell your story. Sharing your journey is the story. Adil shares how you can develop over 1000 stories based on one life experience! Richard shares a client story and asks Adil how to tell parts of her story that are painful so the energy remains positive. Adil breaks down how you can take a story of trauma and tell it in a positive, inspirational way. This is an example of how we can take our message and share it with empathy and integrity as part of our marketing. Next, they discuss the resources you can get to help you improve your copywriting and storytelling skills. Be sure to listen for the full list. You will also hear the strategies for people with a budget of $100. $1500 and $10,000. Be prepared to take notes because you'll hear the exact steps to take to create your own core story. Copywriting, sales, story selling, funnels, weird concepts about life, mindset, mental health, psychology, really random shit I've done while high, on mushrooms or acid (these are just filled with really weird stories and breakthroughs) Copywriting isn't difficult, stories are everywhere, you can be yourself - even if unfunny - and still make people laugh, and so much more :D Check him out at https://adilamarsi.com or... Kira:   Welcome, Adil. Adil:   Hi. Thanks for having me, guys. Kira:   Yeah, and just shout out before we jump into Brennan Hopkins, who introduced us, so thank you, Brennan for making the introduction. And let's just kick this off with your story. How did you end up as a copywriter, consultant, podcaster, artists and we can go on and on, and on? Adil:   Yeah. So first of all, thank you, Brennan, because he did make this happen. So my story's kind of I used to think it was interesting until I actually sat down and wrote it out with a friend. So I moved from Africa, like East Africa to the UK when I was four years old. About a year into moving to the UK, in the mid-90s, my dad ended up having a herniated disk that affected his walking, so he was paralyzed from the waist down for about two years. And it's important to know that I have an older sister and the 90s were basically known as Nickelodeon versus Cartoon Network. You can pretty much guess which side I sided with and which side she went with. I was Cartoon Network, she was Nickelodeon. I found that the best way I could watch cartoons was to sit down and watch whatever my dad was watching at the time. In the UK my dad really loved watching four shows, in particular. Two quite important. The other two, somewhat. So the first one was the news. My dad loved watching the news.

This episode is a great opportunity to find out more about Julie as she is in conversation with Adil Amarsi talking about her journey and what has made her the person she is. They discuss the importance of confidence, self-awareness and why sometimes you need to go back to the beginning to find out who you really are. This is a great listen and candid insight into not only the journey but the belief system that has brought Julie to where she is now; taking action and making whatever she focuses on a success.   KEY TAKEAWAYS I have always believed that if there is something I want I can make it happen, I’ve created a plan, taken the action and made it happen It has meant a lot of learning and personal development and my resilience has come from being adaptable, being prepared to change and always willing to learn. Self-awareness is knowing why we do what we do and why we react in a certain way to things. Part of being self-aware is being able to accept and ask for feedback. You cannot have two thoughts in your head at the same time so if you are thinking positively there is no room for negativity. The fall out rate for people saying they are going to do something then not following through is enormous. The difference is dealing with your own belief system and taking action. Confidence is about doing something and its opposite is lacking courage. You can project confidence and not be confident. To become confident, you have to learn about yourself and try things out. When you use behaviours that make you appear confident and feedback tells you that’s how you are projecting then you can change your internal voice. Confidence is the perception of a set of behaviours. It is a different perception for each and every one of us because our interpretations are not the same. I look at things analytically, if you can analyse from the objective perspective you can create a plan and connect with people to move forward.   BEST MOMENTS ‘I’ve always believed I can have what I want’ ‘Strong people request feedback weak people fear it’  ‘Self-awareness is knowing why we do what we do and why we react in a certain way to things’   VALUABLE RESOURCES The Life-Changing Magic of Setting Goals book by Julie Hogbin   The Authorities - Julie Hogbin: Powerful Wisdom from Leaders in the field book by Julie Hogbin, Raymond Aaron, Marci Shimoff, Dr John Gray    ABOUT THE HOST Julie Hogbin I started my career within the accountancy profession, moving on into auditing, then Learning & Development where I have spent over 30 years.   In 2011 I threw everything up in the air and became a property investor via forex, trading and learning how to build websites & internet market whilst walking on fire

Adil was actually using it as a way to improve the speed of his writing.Be inspired by the genius of copywriting, using his ability to manage not only to live the life he wants but also have been fortunate enough to help people in different industries and more go on to have massive success. Let us hear from Adil Amarsi and your host Monique. HOT TOPICS OF THE EPISODE [01:16] - Monique introduces her guest Mr. Adil Amarsi[02:57] - Tell me why you have all these copywriting names and why you're such a genius in copywriting.I've been doing this 12 years as of today.I'm on track to hit $700 million made from my clients in that 12 year period. So that's the reason that I have so many different nicknames.[04:01] - Tell me about what you were writing as a 12-year-old?I was writing more stories for my dad for his company.I didn't know at the time that he was actually using them to promote his business, I was actually just using it as a way to improve the speed of my writing.[04:50] - Let's talk about getting faster and better at something.I've developed systems over the last like 10 years to help me write copy quickly.I have a blueprint in my head.[08:07] - So how did you get started to look at the way of writing copy?I'd use the John Carlton system.John’s system has three questions.Who are you? What are you selling? And how do I buy it?[12:45] - You have a table full of work. Now what? creative people usually are not very efficient.I found actually giving myself routine time and breaks when I start and finish.[17:09] - When was the time that you actually tried to push through things, but you just overwhelmed yourself? So many times. I've had that very recently. If you don't have a system in place for the efficiency as you basically put out, it overwhelms.[18:50] - What does efficiency mean to you?So efficiency, the way they look at it is it's the ability to become productive in what you doallows you to get a task done quickly.[19:52] - And how important is it for your job, or for your work? It's important for everyone to be this way, just simply because it allows you to:produce morefeel happieryou get into that habit of completing tasks fairly quickly.[20:46] - How do you use creativity to actually enhance your efficiency?Try and find ways to stimulate my brain. the other downside of creativity is you find ways of creatively wasting time.I'm very creative on how to be procrastinating.[22:01] - Have you ever tried to schedule in and do something that is different from your work?I actually really enjoy drawing.Basically, the whole plan just has as much humanly fun as possible[26:39] - So if you could choose to only work with a certain kind of client, who would that be?My favorite clients have always been the ones that have a good story.[29:06] - What helped you the most to pick yourself up and move forward in an efficient way.Having the right people around me that I can go to and ask for their help.Another one that really truly helps is learning from other people's mistakes.[32:18] - Where do you think you would like to be more efficient? And where do you not want to be efficient?I don't want to be efficient in writing as much anymore. I want to get more efficient in like extremely efficient in is ideation.[33:09] - If you had to leave three pieces of advice for our users that they can implement straight away, to be more efficient, what would it be?Get a notepad and start reading as many commercially successful fiction books as possible. When it comes down to writing a copy just practice, write one thing every single day.Get a mentor.Pick a day once a week that you will feel fully take off.AWESOME RESOURCES WE TALKED ABOUT IN THIS EPISODE[31:03] - All You Can Do is All You Can Do, But All You Can Do is Enough - Arthur L. Williams Jr.IMPACTFUL QUOTES OF THIS EPISODE[19:00] - “So efficiency, the way I look at it is, it's the ability to become productive in what you do.”[21:17] - “The other downside of creativity is you find ways of creatively wasting time.”[30:03] - “The other one that really truly helps, besides learning from your mistakes, is learning from other people's mistakes.”FIND MORE ABOUT ADIL AMARSI HEREWebsite: https://storysellingblueprint.com/Podcast: https://adilamarsi.com/podcast/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/adiltheawesome See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
