Driven by a belief that the “how,” or “strategy” behind achieving mastery and growth becomes clear only when you become clear on your outcome, finding your strengths, key emotional drivers, and purpose, Brad operates his business and life by the motto that “the right mindset produces the right strategy, but even the best strategy in the world can't help the person with the wrong mindset.” Resources: BOSS Academy Radio Connect With Brad Hart: Make More Marbles Website Facebook

After 20 years of performing hundreds of improv comedy shows across the country, Travis Thomas has learned that the same principles that apply to improv comedy also apply to business, mental, and leadership skills. As an author, speaker, coach, improv comedian, and the Founder of Live Yes And!, Travis has been helping businesses and athletes apply the cornerstone improv mindset - “YES And!” - to succeed in life and business for the last 10 years. In the world of improvisation, “YES, And” means accepting whatever is being given to you, and then responding and building on that reality. Most of us live life in denial – saying “no” to reality. This leads to a life unfulfilled and lived in fear. Living “YES, And” is about accepting and embracing everything that is happening – even the bad stuff! Why? Because good or bad, the only way to move forward is by facing it and moving through it. As a professional public speaker and coach, Travis has trained thousands of people and dozens of organizations like the Chicago Cubs, Boston Red Sox, University of Georgia Football, US Soccer, Gatorade, PepsiCo., and Under Armour on the principles of improvisation and how developing a “YES, And” mindset will help create an engaged, creative, collaborative, and healthier life and workplace. Today, Travis will open up our minds to improv world’s “Yes, And” mindset. He will educate us on the importance of having the values of trust & security in the workplace especially now in the millennial generation. After seeing a cartoon meme that stated, "Sometimes doing anything beats doing nothing at all" sparked this video on the topic of taking action. How often have you thought about what you should be working on but find yourself not taking steps forward? Any forward progress is closer to the finish line. Think and Grow Rich is a great business book... However, the premise behind the book is not just focused upon thinking but taking action. As Tony Robbins states, "Take massive and immediate action." If your dialogue often states that "one day" you'll accomplish certain things you are limiting your chances of succeeding. Take those same two words, One Day, and flip them around. Focus on day one of your new direction. Stop dreaming about some day and make it happen now. So often we talk about what we want to happen but don't move forward. Forward momentum is the key to accomplishing anything. Tony Robbins mentions taking massive and immediate action on any task you want to complete. Why? Forward momentum. Also, avoid the Law of Diminishing Intent from crushing your progress. Jim Rohn had stated that the longer you wait to take action on an idea you believe is a good idea, the less likely it will happen. By not taking action you will talk yourself out of an idea you once believed a positive one. Take action and stop saying one day!
