On this episode of the JT Sports Podcast, JT reacts to the Rams becoming the NFL's final boss after trading for Myles Garrett and turning an already-loaded roster into a Super Bowl-or-bust monster. Did Los Angeles just weaponize its biggest weaknesses with Garrett, Trent McDuffie, and Jaylen Watson? Can Matthew Stafford, Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Sean McVay, and this new-look defense become a 12, 13, or even 15-win team? JT also breaks down how the Rams' urgency exposes the 49ers, why ring culture has poisoned NFL debates around players like Lamar Jackson and coaches like Kyle Shanahan, and how Super Bowl rings should shape legacy without becoming the only argument that matters. Plus, JT discusses why D.J. Moore could be a major win for the Bills with Josh Allen and Joe Brady, why Kyler Murray may already be taking control of the Vikings QB job over J.J. McCarthy, why the Giants WR room has more names than answers with Malik Nabers, OBJ, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Darnell Mooney, and Braxton Berrios, how A.J. Brown changes everything for Drake Maye and the Patriots, and whether Deshaun Watson still has one last chance to save his Browns career with Todd Monken and Shedeur Sanders waiting in Cleveland.

400+ Anti-LGBTQ Bills: Why Pride Month Still Matters Many people ask: “Why do we still need Pride Month?” After all, same-sex marriage is legal. LGBTQ people are visible in media, business, and politics. Haven't we won? The answer is no. As Pride Month begins, LGBTQ Americans—especially transgender youth—are facing the most significant legal and political backlash in decades. While marriage equality remains intact nationwide, the fight has shifted from expanding rights to defending them. More than 400 anti-LGBTQ bills have been introduced across dozens of states, while over 100 anti-trans laws have been enacted in recent years. From healthcare restrictions and sports bans to book censorship and attacks on legal recognition, the LGBTQ community is confronting a coordinated effort to roll back hard-won protections. In this episode, Karel examines:
North Carolina state lawmakers are in the midst of the 2026 legislative session and, as had been expected, several important proposals are advancing that could impact everything from alcohol sales to the state constitution. On the alcohol front, it appears that the recent ongoing trend to move the state away from longstanding blue laws continues as the demands of retailers and producers seem to slowly be overcoming the objections of religious conservatives and other alcohol opponents. And recently, as part of a wide-ranging two-part conversation with NC Newsline government and politics reporter Brandon Kingdollar, we dug into precisely what's under consideration and what the competing sides are saying. In Part One of our recent extended conversation NC Newsline government and politics reporter Brandon Kingdollar, we examined the ongoing debate at the General Assembly over our state's regulation of alcohol sales and how proposals to liberalize and privatize the process and move away from older, more restrictive regulatory schemes appear to be making headway. In Part Two of our chat, we turned our attention to a series of constitutional amendments that Republican leaders are moving to place on the fall ballot that deal with an array of subjects – some of them potentially hugely impactful and some more symbolic that appear to be designed mostly to help drive conservative voter turnout. Click here for the full interview with NC Newsline government and politics reporter Brandon Kingdollar.

Today we are joined by Marco Giuliani, Vice President & Head of Research at ThreatDown, discussing their work on "GachiLoader adopts AI skill lure." Threat actors are now using fake AI agent “skills” as highly convincing social engineering lures, with a new campaign disguising the GachiLoader malware as a legitimate OpenClaw tool for automated Polymarket betting. Victims are tricked through fake installation guides and polished Electron apps into downloading malware that deploys the Rhadamanthys infostealer using fileless injection and blockchain-based command-and-control infrastructure. Researchers say the campaign marks an evolution in cybercrime, turning AI skill ecosystems into a new phishing-style attack surface. May 29, 2026: Costco's CEO Ron Vachris said it plainly this week: "I don't see AI making choices for Costco" — and with $440 billion in market cap and 17% stock gains this year, the companies doubling down on human judgment are quietly outperforming the ones cutting workers for AI. On today's episode, Jacob Morgan breaks down three stories that together reveal the gap between what companies say about AI and what they're actually doing: why Costco, IBM, and Delta are winning by betting on humans; why corporate America is getting the bill for "tokenmaxxing" — the practice of deploying AI everywhere without measuring whether it works — and what disciplined AI investment actually looks like; and what OpenAI's newly published Frontier Governance Framework, which formally maps its own risk categories including "loss of control," means for every business leader who needs an enterprise AI governance strategy before the regulations have teeth.

They were high-school sweethearts once—two kids convinced love was bulletproof. Terell and Dariel spent their nights whispering dreams into flip phones, stealing kisses between football games and cafeteria trays, certain nothing could break them. She was fire wrapped in ambition. He was hunger wrapped in hope. Together they were invincible. Then life arrived.Graduation scattered them. Bills replaced curfews. Pride replaced promises. They walked away—not because the love died, but because timing did.Years later, Atlanta's skyline has changed, but the pull between them hasn't. Terell is a warehouse manager by day, a father always, and a dreamer who still hears beats in his sleep. Dariel is polished power—district manager, soon-to-be dermatologist, building security brick by disciplined brick. They live in the same high-rise now, sharing a balcony that overlooks cranes and construction, a city that never stops building… or testing.Second chances don't arrive soft. They arrive heavy—with history, with a child, with ambition sharp enough to cut, and pride thick enough to choke. In a city where opportunity and temptation move at the same speed, love doesn't ask if you're ready. It asks if you're honest.Because the love that never dies is the love that almost kills you.A raw, soul-deep Atlanta love story about what happens when forever gets a second try—and the price of holding on when everything wants to pull you apart.Perfect for fans of romance, mystery, suspense, and erotic pleasures at times.Tru Love is a powerful, emotionally charged debut that explores loyalty, betrayal, second chances, and the kind of love that survives—even when it shouldn't.https://a.co/d/06XX2pH0

On this episode of NFL Live, Laura Rutledge is joined by Dan Orlovsky and Mina Kimes as the crew reacts to OTAs getting underway around the NFL. The Kansas City Chiefs are back on the field with veteran Chris Jones and new running back Kenneth Walker in the building, while the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks begin OTAs with rookie running back Jadarian Price generating plenty of buzz. Another rookie to keep an eye on is Eagles wide receiver Makai Lemon as Philadelphia opens camp, and Baker Mayfield is back in action as the Buccaneers get underway in Tampa. Meanwhile, there is a new quarterback in Minnesota; does that mean Kyler Murray has already locked up QB1 status? Dan Orlovsky says the answer comes down to one major factor. Plus, you do not want to miss the comparison one Buccaneers coach made between rookie Ruben Bain and some all-time greats, and why someone on the crew believes his impact could push Tampa Bay to the top of the NFC. There has also been plenty of change in Buffalo, including major defensive changes under new defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard, but Mina Kimes explains why none of it matters if the Bills cannot solve one major issue from last season. All that and much more on this episode of NFL Live. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Is it a cause for concern or is it too early to worry about it?Finally, Rob wonders if Joe Brady is just Brandon Beane's 'Yes Man' and if it'll hurt his chances at success when the regular season begins. The New England Patriots are entering one of the most important seasons of the post-Tom Brady era, and Missing the Point is breaking down every major storyline surrounding Foxborough. On this episode of Missing the Point, Mike Marcangelo is joined by Zachary Gray for a full New England Patriots 2025 offseason preview, covering Drake Maye's year three expectations, the Patriots' offensive line concerns, A.J. Brown trade rumors, Stefon Diggs comparisons, Romeo Doubs' role in the offense, New England's NFL Draft strategy, the Patriots' difficult 2025 schedule, AFC playoff expectations, and the Mike Vrabel controversy involving Diana Russini. The episode starts with the biggest question facing the Patriots: is Drake Maye ready to take the leap?Mike and Zach break down Drake Maye's development entering his third NFL season, including his regular season growth, playoff performance, pocket awareness, decision-making under pressure, and what he still needs to prove as the Patriots' franchise quarterback. Maye has the talent to become one of the best young quarterbacks in the AFC, but New England still needs to prove it has built the right offense around him.The conversation then shifts to the Patriots' offensive line and 2025 NFL Draft strategy. Did New England do enough to protect Drake Maye? Was the draft focused on building a real long-term foundation, or was it just about adding bodies to a roster with obvious holes? Mike and Zach discuss Will Campbell, left tackle concerns, offensive line depth, and why protecting Maye could define the Patriots' entire season. From there, the show dives into the Patriots wide receiver room and the big-name trade rumors that continue to follow New England.Could A.J. Brown become a real trade target for the Patriots? Should New England be aggressive if a true number one wide receiver becomes available? Mike and Zach compare A.J. Brown and Stefon Diggs, looking at age, upside, production, injury concerns, risk, fit, and what each receiver would mean for Drake Maye's development. A.J. Brown brings star power, size, and explosive upside. Stefon Diggs offers experience and reliability. But would either move be enough to push the Patriots into the AFC contender conversation? The guys also discuss Romeo Doubs and whether the Patriots can build a successful spread offense without a clear elite number one receiver. Zach makes the case that spreading the ball around could help Drake Maye grow in year three, while Mike questions whether a receiver room built around multiple number two options can win playoff games against teams like the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, and Cincinnati Bengals. The episode also features a full breakdown of the Patriots' 2025 schedule, one of the toughest in the NFL by traditional strength-of-schedule metrics. Mike and Zach look at New England's matchups against the AFC West, NFC North, and other key opponents that could shape the Patriots' playoff hopes. They also discuss the Patriots' 10.5 win total and whether that number is fair, too high, or actually reachable if Drake Maye and the roster stay healthy.Zach also brings the numbers on NFL rest differential, including where the Patriots rank compared to the rest of the league. The schedule may be difficult, but New England's rest advantage could give Mike Vrabel's team a real edge in key spots. Mike and Zach debate whether that rest differential helps offset one of the hardest schedules in football. Then the conversation turns to the bigger AFC playoff picture. Are the Patriots legitimate AFC contenders in 2025? Should New England be viewed as a threat because of Drake Maye, Mike Vrabel, and a stronger roster? Or are the expectations moving too fast for a team that still needs to prove it can win meaningful games in January?Mike and Zach discuss the Patriots' Super Bowl chances, AFC Championship expectations, playoff matchups, and how New England stacks up against the Chiefs, Bills, Ravens, Bengals, and the rest of the AFC. They also touch on Patrick Mahomes' injury situation, Kansas City's uncertainty, and whether the Chiefs are still the biggest roadblock in the AFC.The episode closes with the off-field story surrounding Mike Vrabel and Diana Russini. Mike and Zach discuss the controversy, the media reaction, and whether it could become a distraction for the Patriots entering the season. They look at how the situation could affect Vrabel's focus, his reputation, and his future in New England, while also asking the bigger question: does any of this actually matter once the Patriots start playing football? This is a full New England Patriots offseason breakdown with the usual Missing the Point mix of honest football analysis, strong opinions, frustration, optimism, and enough chaos to match the current state of the Patriots.Topics include:New England Patriots 2025 offseason previewDrake Maye year three expectationsDrake Maye development and playoff growthPatriots offensive line concernsWill Campbell and left tackle questionsPatriots 2026 NFL Draft strategyA.J. They have a new standard under Mike Vrabel. They have a schedule that will test them immediately. They have trade rumors, roster questions, offensive line concerns, and a fan base ready to believe again. Now New England has to prove whether the 2025 Patriots are a real AFC contender or just another offseason idea that sounds better before the games start.Support the show-----------https://www.MTPshow.comOur Social Mediahttps://linktr.ee/MTPSHOW-----------Hosts: Mike Marcangelo, Dave ClarkeProducer: Craig D'Alessandro, Dave ClarkeInquiries: Craig@mtpshow.com

Ruthie Polinsky and Clay Harbor circle back to the Chicago Bears' 2026 schedule with a fresh perspective, taking a closer look at the matchups that could define the season and revisiting their initial reactions nearly a week after the release. From a potentially brutal midseason stretch to intriguing quarterback battles featuring Caleb Williams, Bryce Young, and Drake Maye, the duo breaks down where the Bears may have advantages and where things could get dicey. They also debate who could actually be under center for the Vikings by Week 2 and whether the Bears can build momentum early in the year. The conversation moves game-by-game as Ruthie and Clay hand out their way-too-early win-loss predictions, including marquee showdowns against the Eagles, Packers, Patriots, Seahawks, Buccaneers, and Lions on Thanksgiving Day in Detroit. They discuss why matchups against teams like the Saints, Jets, Falcons, Jaguars, and Dolphins may be far more complicated than they appear on paper, while also previewing the Bears' first trip to the Bills' new Highmark Stadium. Along the way, the hosts examine the importance of primetime tests, tough road environments, and how Caleb Williams could stack up against some of the NFL's biggest names in year two.

It turns out that Severe is a huge Josh Allen fan and hopes the Bills one day win the Super Bowl.
Instead of doing the standard win/loss prediction everyone else does, Ryan handed the 2026 Packers schedule to multiple AIs — Grok, Claude, and ChatGPT — and had them simulate the season week by week, complete with final scores, key plays, and the reason the Packers won or lost each game. Three of the four models landed at exactly 11-6. What came out isn't just a schedule prediction — it's an accidental portrait of what being a Packer fan feels like every year. The Week 1 loss in Minnesota that sends everyone into full panic. The Jets win that doesn't really count. The Micah Parsons homecoming game against the Bears. The Rams loss on two costly interceptions that breaks everybody. The Bills loss at home that makes you question everything. The Christmas Day win in Chicago that brings everyone back. And then the Week 18 loss to Detroit on a missed field goal that sends you into the playoffs feeling somehow both good and terrible about 11-6. Ryan's takeaway: there's no combination of six losses that feels good. But 11-6 is 11-6, the off season is actually kind of relaxing, and the regular season is going to be exactly this — all of it — whether you're ready or not.
