Don't forget to grab your free scripture journal at PrayingChristianWomen.com/journal today! How do you find your footing when calculated evil leaves a trail of destruction in its wake? Can a soul truly flourish while carrying the heavy burden of collateral damage? In this devotional on Psalm 52, we confront one of the darkest moments in David’s life—the massacre at Nob. We explore the aftermath of Doeg the Edomite’s "sharp razor" betrayal, which led to the slaughter of 85 priests and an entire town, leaving David wrestling with the crushing weight of responsibility for their deaths. We move beyond the horror to examine David’s defiant choice of faith: the stark contrast between the "boastful wickedness" of the enemy and David’s self-declaration as a "green olive tree" in the house of God. To the amazement of the Corinthians, the Apostle Paul boasted in chapter 11 of all his various sufferings and hardships. He boasted of all the painful persecution that he had endured in his physical and emotional natural man, not so he would be thought of as strong, or crazy, but so he could actually boast about the power and strength of God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ through the indwelling Holy Spirit. His boast was always in His God and never in his flesh. And so, he continues with this same theme of boasting in the Lord in chapter 12.

POTUS was fired up in Pennsylvania last night touting his booming economy, and today he doubled down during a cabinet meeting — just as the Federal Reserve lowers rates for the third straight time. What does this actually mean for your personal economy? Pags digs into affordability, everyday expenses, and why some Americans feel better off while others don't. Then economist Vance Ginn joins the show for a sharp, no-nonsense breakdown. He explains what three consecutive rate cuts really mean for your wallet, whether this helps affordability, and how Democrats “lied their way” into the economic mess we had before the turnaround. Vance tackles the biggest questions: Are we in a recession? Does the Fed rate actually trickle down? Why should ordinary Americans care? He exposes the truth behind the numbers and lays out exactly what this economic shift means for you. A can't-miss financial reality check. Learn more about your ad choices. Proverbs 14:16–20 exposes the split between true reverence and reckless pride. The wise man fears and turns from evil, but the fool charges forward, blind in confidence. Quick tempers and cunning plans both collapse under divine scrutiny, while prudence becomes a crown for the discerning. In time, evil itself must bow before righteousness—even as the world still flatters wealth and despises poverty. This Morning Manna teaching, featuring Rick Wiles and Doc Burkhart, highlights the moral law behind these verses: the fear of God produces stability, folly exalts itself to destruction, and heaven's justice will reverse every false elevation.
