Send us a textThis episode breaks one of the biggest myths in Air Force Special Warfare selection: teamwork is not about getting along. Aaron lays out exactly what instructors are looking for in an attributes-based selection model—and why teamwork is evaluated even in an individually graded pipeline. From hydration and gear prep to buddy breathing, leadership, authenticity, and putting team gear before personal comfort, this is a no-fluff blueprint for being the teammate units actually want. If you think teamwork means giving away reps or playing the spotlight ranger, you've already missed the point. This is about selflessness, consistency, and mission-first behavior—from day one.⏱️ Timestamps: 00:00 Ones Ready intro and teamwork reality check 01:45 What “attributes-based selection” actually means 04:50 Teamwork ≠ giving reps or hiding weakness 07:20 Team gear before personal gear—always 10:15 Why operators are never lone wolves 13:30 Watching individuals become real teams 16:45 Brown Team story and real unit teamwork 20:40 How instructors spot good vs bad teammates 23:10 Buddy breathing as pure teamwork 26:45 Adaptability, leadership, and followership 30:30 Authenticity vs spotlight rangers 34:10 Consistency, integrity, and trust 38:00 Teamwork turns pain down 41:30 Final charge: stop thinking about yourself
Sam is joined by Sha Racks and Buddy Jenkins for an episode that somehow keeps escalating. The centerpiece story sets the tone as a simple youth group moment turns into a split-second decision with consequences no one saw coming, and it only spirals from there. Along the way, the crew works through stories involving a late-night lock-in gone horribly wrong, a prank with catastrophic timing, wildlife encounters that end in ER visits, camp mornings that take an immediate medical turn, mission trip chaos, and the kind of sleepwalking that makes leaders question reality. Every story feels harmless right up until it absolutely isn't, making this one of those episodes where you're constantly bracing for what's about to go wrong next.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

Send us a textThis episode closes out the Attributes Series with one of the most mission-critical traits in Air Force Special Warfare: stress tolerance. Aaron breaks down what stress tolerance actually means—not being emotionless, but staying inside the performance window when stakes are high. From eustress vs distress to stress inoculation, breath control, visualization, and recovery, this is a practical blueprint for how instructors evaluate candidates under pressure. Mass casualties, buddy breathing, danger-close CAS—this attribute decides whether you freeze, spiral, or perform. Stress is guaranteed. Welcome to The Whatever, Buddy?! PodcastWell, after an unintended hiatus, it's now time for Episode 123! The fellas are all back in town and ready to have a chat. What does one talk about after taking some time off? A little music, a little life, a little Kenny Loggins. So, let's shake of the rust and get into it. Welcome to Whatever, Buddy Wednesday?! It's great to be back!
This Wednesday mini episode kicks off a new short series built around something I've been quietly working on for the last few months: the First Marathon Buddy Program. It's a 20-week companion meant to sit alongside your training plan and make marathon training feel less overwhelming, less isolating, and a lot more doable. In this episode, I walk through what the program is, why it exists, and how it's structured to give you the right information at the right time instead of all at once.Over the next few weeks, these Wednesday minis will pull tips directly from the First Marathon Buddy Program framework, but if you're not training for your first marathon, don't worry. I'll be adapting each topic to include broader running advice and takeaways for runners who've been around the block a few times too. The goal is to make these episodes useful no matter where you're at, while still keeping things approachable and human for newer runners. Follow along with the show:
AI is always a topic, we recap our Christmas gifts, try a little bit of what Aaron got, and round it out with a what would you do!
When Mary’s boyfriend Scott comes back from a Vegas work trip acting distant, skipping his usual goodnight calls, and suddenly texting someone saved as “Vegas Buddy,” her gut tells her something’s off. On this jaw-dropping episode of To Catch a Cheater on The Jubal Show, one suspicious contact name leads to a flower delivery, a shocking choice, and a confession that spirals way beyond what Mary ever expected. From secret Vegas hookups to a moment that completely flips the conversation, this call proves that what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay there. Think your partner might be up to something shady? The Jubal Show has you covered. In this explosive segment, The Jubal Show helps suspicious lovers uncover the truth by setting up the ultimate loyalty test. We call their significant other, posing as a grocery store’s floral department offering a free bouquet. You know.. a War of the Roses. The catch? Who they choose to send the flowers to—and what they write on the card—could reveal everything. Will it be a romantic gesture for their partner or a shocking betrayal? It's late January, and the intrepid Film Comment crew is on the ground reporting from an extra special edition of the Sundance Film Festival—the last to take place on the snowy slopes of Park City, Utah, the festival's home since 1981, before moving to Boulder, Colorado in 2027. For the next week, we'll be gathering the best critics on the scene to talk about each day's premieres on the Podcast. To kick things off, Film Comment Editor Devika Girish invited programmer Madeline Whittle (Film at Lincoln Center) as well as critics Robert Daniels (RogerEbert.com) and Will Tavlin (n+1) to share their responses to the films premiering during the first few days of the fest. The group discusses the tongue-in-cheek Charli XCX mockumentary The Moment (3:30), Casper Kelly's dark comedy Buddy (20:15), and Beth de Araujo's sophomore feature Josephine (29:50). Stay tuned for more of our Sundance 2026 coverage.

Click Here...!!!Tonight, we're talking about Winter Garden Starts.I know… it's January… it's a frozen tundra out there… it's below freezing and in some places like here, it's below zero. I sure as hell don't want to be working in my garden in ski pants and snow boots… hands all numb and frozen boogers in my beard. Hell No.And therein lies the beauty of it…My garden isn't outside under a foot of snow. It's inside. In the warmth of my grow-room. A 20 x 15' area of work space in the basement with shelves and grow lights, seed starting mixes and potting soils, and seed trays sitting on top of heating mats. There's a bar-height table with a 36x36” black plastic drain pan that we've repurposed as a work surface to keep soil, compost, and water from reaching the floor. Now don't be trying to picture some pristine climate-controlled sciency type of space.Noooo… This is at best, a piece-mealed and frankensteined mash of incompatible interconnected tools of the trade acquired over time and sourced from the cheapest vendors, mostly Amazon and Walmart, and sometimes free… think Dirty Garden Hoe dumpster-diving on the way back from the feed store kind of free… All tossed together and organized into a perfect form of dirty workspace.Does yours have to be as big as ours? No it doesn't. It can be smaller, much smaller. Probably should be smaller. We found out last season that our grow-room is actually not big enough. Remember, our garden is 1250 sqf… I've lived in apartments that were half that size. And this next season, we're adding another 1250 sqf to it… though I haven't quite figured out exactly how yet but, it's gonna happen. We need that space. But, even if you're in a smaller space like an apartment or a flat, you can and should have a grow-room, be it a little corner of the bedroom or window ledges in the living room or countertops in the kitchen or bathroom… or all of the above. Now is the time to start. And Buddy's got you covered. He's got a Top 10 list all about what we need to be doing right now in the dead of Winter, so that our gardens will be lush and plentiful come Spring.TOPS Bunker Podcast YouTube ChannelSpeakPipe/TOPSTOPSBunker.comRefuge Medical Use TOPSBUNKER10 at Checkout for 10% DiscountPlease Visit Our Affiliate Links to Find Great Preparedness Products:Grow Light - Full Spectrum 4'Grow Light - Full Spectrum 2'x2'VivoSun Heat Mat for Seedlings 10"x20"VivoSun Seed Tray Heat Mat ComboHaxNicks 20 Cell Rapid Root Trainer TraysVivoSun Grow Tent System 4'x2'Surge Protector Strip 1625W 8 Slot +USB12/3 HD SJTW Ext Cord w/3 Outlets 6'CordHappy Frog Organic Potting Soil 2 CFVivoSun Worm Farm 3-Layer Kit w/ToolsUncle Jims Red Wigglers Worms 500 Count LiveSupport the show
Great conversation with John over the details of his life! We all know life can be challenging…. But CANCER? The struggle of life is real, but we can choose Faith over Fear! John shares his life growing up, wrestling, military, marriage and yes, cancer! The answer to life's challenges is found in one of John's favorite Bible verses…“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him”John 3:17Keep your eyes on the prize and fighting the good fight is the call of all who know Christ! Being in heaven with Jesus for eternity is the prize that only is found in and through HIM!

Send us a textBuzzed Buddy joined us on Inside the Bunghole through its creator, Jay Nixon. Jay broke down the science behind Buzzed Buddy in a way that was approachable, candid, and refreshingly free of hype. He explained how the product supports alcohol metabolism by targeting the toxins created when we drink, rather than interfering with the buzz itself. Built around a simple three-ingredient formula—milk thistle for liver support, L-cysteine for brain protection, and dihydromyricetin (DHM) to help neutralize acetaldehyde—Buzzed Buddy reflects Jay's philosophy of minimalism and efficacy. No “pixie dust,” no unnecessary additives, just ingredients backed by research and centuries of use. What made Jay Nixon such a compelling guest was not just his knowledge, but his perspective. The conversation naturally expanded into how modern drinkers are rethinking balance, wellness, and sustainability—especially as we age and still want to enjoy great wine, cocktails, and long tasting days. From Napa marathons to Vegas nights, Jay spoke honestly about drinking smarter, not less, and about extending our enjoyment of wine for years to come. His appearance added depth to our ongoing journey through wine, reminding us that taking care of the body is just another way of honoring the experience in the glass.Cheers! Send us a textTwo programs, two roads to the same stage. Miami arrives on a heater, leaning into pressure, speed, and opportunistic plays. Indiana shows up like a metronome—disciplined run game, cleaner defense, and a quarterback who knows when to be Clark Kent and when to flash the cape. We put their strengths under the brightest light: can Miami force a shootout, or does Indiana's structure suffocate the tempo and win the margins? We unpack Fernando Mendoza's profile with real comps—think Matt Ryan's command, Jimmy Garoppolo's rhythm, a touch of Brock Purdy's moxie. The takeaway isn't hype; it's fit. Right system, right timeline, real staying power. Wrong situation, and early draft status becomes an anchor. From there, we shift to the sidelines, comparing staff cohesion and identity. Indiana's continuity shows in the small things—receivers finishing blocks at 40–0, a defense that communicates through motion. Miami's staff counters with disruptive ideas and personnel that can flip a quarter in three snaps.Zooming out, we get honest about the 12-team playoff, why byes have been a trap, and how a 16-team field could level games and calendars. We also call out the quiet advantages of staying home for a title—less travel, familiar climate—without overplaying the crowd factor in a city that often arrives late. Finally, we test a big question: can Indiana sustain this rise in an NIL and transfer era? Culture still compounds, but it now has to coexist with aggressive roster building and big-money suitors. You'll leave with clear score predictions, the matchup levers that matter, and early picks for next year's contenders. In a strange corner of the RPG space, there's a new insistence about how DnD ought to be played. Close adherence to time metrics needs to be prioritized. We have a change of scenery on The Nikki & Brie Show as the twins are settling into their brand-new podcast room! Still a work in progress but they're bringing the vibes anyway as they kick off a cozy and candid conversation about weekly wins, tough losses, and everything in between.Nikki celebrates an epic experience at the Fiesta Bowl, a dreamy stay at the Princess Hotel in Arizona, and a chance encounter with football legend Eli Manning, who is just as nice as you'd hope. Brie's riding high after Buddy crushed his first-ever flag football game, scoring three touchdowns and making mom proud with his sportsmanship. But it wouldn't be real if they didn't talk about the losses too—Nikki opens up about mom-shaming in the comments section, and Brie confesses to a cookie binge that threw Dry January off track (shout out to Sweet Loren's).With lots of laughs and transparency, this episode is a warm reminder that growth comes from both wins and losses. In this conversation, Dan Johnson and Buddy discuss the evolution and impact of Ozonics over the past 19 years. They reflect on their experiences in hunting, the power of ozone in scent control, advancements in technology, and the reactions of animals to ozone. The discussion also covers strategic hunting practices with Ozonics and the pride in innovation that drives the company forward. Takeaways: Ozonics has been a game-changer in the hunting industry for 19 years. The power of ozone is significant in controlling human odor. Animals do not become accustomed to the smell of ozone. Optimal conditions for Ozonics include colder temperatures and lower humidity. The HR 600 model represents the latest advancements in Ozonics technology. Using Ozonics allows hunters to be more aggressive in their strategies. Understanding animal behavior is crucial for effective hunting with Ozonics. Hunters should use Ozonics from the moment they leave camp. Ozonics creates opportunities that would not exist without it. Continuous innovation is key to staying ahead in the hunting technology market. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

In this episode, they discuss:How horses sense emotional truth through nonverbal communicationWhy presence and self-awareness are essential for growthLetting go of rigid identity roles in midlifeThe power of curiosity and trying new experiencesHow being a beginner builds confidenceCreating transformation through connection and embodiment When women lead from within and reconnect with their authentic selves, new possibilities open and transformation becomes a way of life! About Sue:Sue Willoughby is the Founder of Willoughby Coaching, where women over 40 confront their personal obstacles and change the trajectory of their lives with the power of Equus Coaching. Equus coaching helps you discover the profound impact of non-verbal communication and self-awareness as you engage with horses, gaining insights into your leadership, communication style, and personal growth.Raised by a single alcoholic parent, Sue struggled with low self-esteem and learned from an early age to be self-sufficient and embrace discomfort. She came out at the age of 17 and struggled to find her place in the gay community, attempted suicide at 19, and was on a path of living hard and playing harder. Her life dramatically improved when she met a new partner in the early 90s and moved across the country with her. After this move, Sue returned to school, started a new career, and became a homeowner and real estate investor.Sue found coaching through her lifelong love of horses. They were always there to support her through some of the darkest and most difficult times of her life and she now finds fulfillment in being the coach she wished she had in those challenging times of her life.Sue regularly practices what she preaches by getting out of her comfort zone; she's been a Nightclub DJ, a standup comic, an actor, a private pilot, and a Roller Derby referee, just to name a few! Sue resides outside the Seattle area with a horse named Moose, 2 mini-longhaired Dachshunds, Benny and Buddy, and a VW Bus called Arlo. Send us a textA college choice can change everything. Martell Prayear takes us from Glenville to Baldwin Wallace, breaking down why a small-school environment—where people learn your name and invest in your growth—can become the foundation for a career, a community, and a life you actually want to live.We dig into the real work of admissions through Martell's lens: fit over flash, personal attention over volume. He shares how he left healthcare staffing to reclaim balance, added officiating as a flexible second lane, and built a rhythm that protects family time. A simple shared calendar becomes a secret weapon; date nights stay on the schedule; and a five-year-old's activities slot around a purpose-driven job that still leaves room to breathe. Then the whistle blows. Martell contrasts football's Friday night rush with the claustrophobic thrill of a rivalry gym, walking us inside high school playoffs, semipro snaps, and the judgment calls that keep games honest. He's firm on hecklers and crystal clear about respect: athletes deserve the spotlight, and officials enforce it. We also celebrate leadership done right with BW athletic director Steve Thompson—present, down-to-earth, forward-thinking—and highlight a major move on campus: the launch of women's flag football, expanding opportunities for women's varsity sports. There's laughter, too. We trade stories about play-by-play booths, the electricity of a hot crowd, and why comedy and officiating share the same core skill: read the room, set the tone, protect the moment. Martell leaves us with a compass we can use anywhere—find something that makes you happy and find someone who makes you happy—and a reminder that the right environment multiplies your effort. If this resonates, follow the show, share it with a frienSubscribe for exclusive content: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1530455/support Buzzsprout - Let's get your podcast launched!Start for FREETactical BrotherhoodThe Tactical Brotherhood is a movement to support America.Dubby EnergyFROM GAMERS TO GYM JUNKIES TO ENTREPRENEURS, OUR PRODUCT IS FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO BE BETTER.ShankitgolfOur goal here at Shankitgolf is for everyone to have a great time on and off the golf courseSweet Hands SportsElevate your game with Sweet Hands Sports!
