When there is a lack of lust decades into an otherwise loving marriage or relationship, many, if not most, women assume their indifference to sex is a result of declining hormone levels and that a prescription for estrogen, testosterone or a libido enhancing drug will re-light the flame. A plunge in hormones can be part of the problem, and sometimes a trip to the pharmacy will help, but there are a lot of other reasons that have nothing to do with hormones or menopause that impact on keeping that sexual spark alive.  In this episode, I am joined Dr. Alexandra Solomon, the author of Loving Bravely, Taking Sexy Back, and her latest book, Love Every Day- 365 relational self-awareness practices, to help your relationship heal, grow and thrive.  We discuss:   Is the MONOTONY of monogamy inevitable?  What is “RELATIONAL SELF AWARENESS”? What is UNPACKING and why is it important? Tips to CONFLICT RESOLUTION as opposed to conflict escalation?  What if you are in a good place in terms of love and intimacy, but are worried about losing that connection over time?  Why it is important to understand your PARENTS relationship to have better adult relationships LEAVE the relationship or FIX the relationship?  What if you “love them” but are not “In love with them?”   What do you tell women when it comes to LIBIDO DRUGS to reignite the spark? Why women are often resistant to SEX THERAPY? How past sexual TRAUMA can inform current sexual experiences, and how to reclaim pleasure Dr. Alexandra H. Solomon is internationally recognized as one of today's most trusted voices in the world of relationships, and her framework for Relational Self-Awareness has reached millions of people around the globe. A couples therapist, speaker, author, and professor, Dr. Alexandra is passionate about translating cutting-edge research and clinical wisdom into practical tools people can use to bring awareness, curiosity, and authenticity to their relationships. Five Cs of History. Change Over Time #1 of 4. Roger Casement has been a subject of fascination - and controversy - for over a century. During his lifetime, he was an internationally-recognized champion for human rights, and was instrumental in exposing the horrors surrounding the rubber industry in the Belgian Congo and Peruvian Putumayo. Significantly, he spent his life striving to do more than just expose the injustices of the Congo and Putumayo - he built a network of activists and leaders willing to intercede, push for reform, and demand change for the indigenous peoples who suffered under European occupation. After years working within the British Empire, he was radicalized in his Irish nationalist beliefs, and spent the last two years of his life working to fight for Ireland's independence from Britain. After his execution, some held on to the memory of him as a humanitarian hero, others claimed he was another martyr of the Irish nationalist cause, and still others distanced themselves from his evident homosexuality. The question of his sexuality determined whether or not he could be counted among the ‘real' Irish heroes. Find the transcript and show notes at www.digpodcast.org Learn more about your ad choices. Some cricketers we love at first sight; some, we take time to appreciate; others, we do not understand the fuss; and still others are quick to get under our skins. Often, we review our views over time - and often surprise ourselves by changing our opinions about cricketers.  Kapil Dev, Ishant Sharma, Ravi Shastri, Ian Chappell, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Mohammad Azharuddin, and Steve Waugh - all formidable cricketers. All of whom we have changed our minds over at various stages. And all of whom we focus on in this episode - to understand the evolution of our fandom. What are your lifelong achievement goals? What did you dream of as a child? Has that changed? Aspirations are those dreams that we conjure up throughout our lives. As children, it may have been a career goal of becoming a fireman, a ballerina, or the President. Then, we age and gain new responsibilities. Our perspectives change, making new things take on more importance. Aspirations are not a one-and-done kind of dream. They evolve as you grow, and life throws some spitballs your way. Understanding how your long-term plans will change helps you understand that you are not failing if life takes a detour. How Our Values Change Over Time

In this episode, I discuss the evolution of our values in the different stages of our life. We have all heard the cliche phrase, "Enjoy being young, because as soon as you know it you'll be old like me!" And whenever I used to hear this saying, I would become discouraged because I assumed that we would just become victims of our circumstances of being old. But, now I have realized that it's more about how our values will evolve as we become older. When we are young we are so adventurous, trying new things, and exploring what works for us and what doesn't. But, then as time goes on, some individuals want to give back to children and raise a family. They begin to settle down and spend more time with their kids instead of traveling all the time. And this example shows me how it's not always a matter of the decisions being made for you, but what you want out of your life is evolving from stage to stage. If you are someone who wants to learn more about how our values change over time, tune in to this episode!

Narcissists dont change over time and passed time is not an apology Welcome my channel! If this is your first time seeing my face or hearing my voice, my name is Lee and I am a self aware #narcissist. I have narcissistic personality disorder  ( #NPD ) and I've been in therapy for my personality disorder since 2017 and it has definitely changed my life because without it, I would have lost everything.   The point of these videos is to help bring awareness from the other side of the narcissistic *buse spectrum. All my videos give perspective on why many narcissists do what they do and the possible different reasons behind them. The victims and survivors get validation and the #Narcissists (those that are willing) get to see that you can get help and that you are not alone.      My Main Site - www.mentalhealness.net 1 on 1's and all my links - https://beacons.page/mentalhealness      You can find me on -     Tiktok MentalHealness - https://www.tiktok.com/@mentalhealness?lang=en  Insta- Mentalhealnesss - https://www.instagram.com/mentalhealnesss/?hl=en Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/MentalHealness85 Click the BEACON up top for direct links.
