Steve Rohlik Head Coach of Ohio State University Men's Hockey joins Baskin and Phelps ahead of Ohio State and Michigan playing outside at First Energy Stadium. They talk on Big Ten Hockey, what he's telling his players before the game and recruiting in Ohio.
The battle to be the starting running back at Ohio State will be a fun battle to watch. TreVeyon Henderson and Miyan Williams seem to be the front runners in the competition. However, you can't count Chip Traynum or Evan Pryor out of the race. They're really talented too. TreVeyon Henderson has an interesting path in this race due to him having offseason surgery. That doesn't mean he can't be Ohio State's starting running back in the fall. During today's show, Jay Stephens discusses what it will take for TreVeyon Henderson to be named RB1. He also shares a disagreement he has with how First Energy Stadium will look when the Ohio State hockey team hosts Michigan in a game that will be played in a football stadium.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!LinkedInLinkedIn jobs helps you find the candidates you want to talk to, faster. Garrett Bush of the Ultimate Cleveland Sports Show and Jeff Lloyd of the Locked On Browns Podcast discuss the latest Cleveland Browns News, Rumors, and Analysis. Garrett and Jeff react the Cleveland Browns Loss at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles Sunday Afternoon at First Energy Stadium. They also ask Are The Browns Making A Mistake By Not Playing Jacoby Brissett? Watching Joshua Dobbs make his second strong bid to stick with the Browns as a backup QB led to some research. Let's start with his stats in two games with the Browns: 24-of-33 passing for 249 yards and a TD. Rookie defensive end Alex Wright was one of the few standouts on defense for the Browns early in the game. The third-rounder has been impressive during training camp and in the scrimmages against the Eagles. Wright is an Alabama-Birmingham product who is quick at 6-foot-5 and 267 pounds. The front office was excited when drafting him and everything they've seen so far makes them believe he can develop into a starter in time. During their scrimmages with the Eagles, the Browns defensive line had problems defending inside runs...and that was the case in this game. Kicker Cade York. Fifty yards. Good. No problem. He kicked that ball at FirstEnergy Stadium with the same confidence and authority as he has during camp in Berea. Later in the game, he missed a 55-yarder, but not by much. The kick hit high on the upright. If York continues to kick like this, he will be a major asset for a team that probably will play a lot of low-scoring games with Deshaun Watson suspended early in the season. #browns #clevelandbrowns #nfl #nflpreseason2022 #cleveland #trainingcamp DaveDownload the Dave app from the App store right now for an Extra Cash account and get up to 500 dollars instantly. What's up, Browns fans! News broke today that Deshaun Watson has settled with 20 of the 24 plaintiffs filing civil suits against Cleveland's new quarterback. We break down the news and what it means for the Browns and what sort of suspension we could be looking at this season with Deshaun. Also, we discuss all sides of the debate and whether settling looks like an admission of guilt or if the court of public opinion has already handed down its ruling. Also, news broke earlier in the week that the Browns could possibly be looking to either build a new stadium or invest in major upgrades to First Energy Stadium. Would YOU like to see the Browns play in a brand new (maybe retractable-roof covered) stadium? Plus, we roast Chase Claypool for thinking he's a top-3 wide receiver in the NFL, and we look at players heading into the final year of their contracts who the Browns could target in trades before camp begins next month. What's up, Browns fans! What a wild week of training camp and joint practices. We had fights, good days, bad days, and it's almost difficult to remember what happened yesterday and what happened two weeks ago. Either way, it all culminated with another Browns preseason victory over the New York Giants on Sunday afternoon. Freddie Kitchens still can't win a game in First Energy Stadium. We recap our reactions and takeaways from the game, and then we move into the second half of our 2021 season schedule predictions. With very few losses to predict in the first half of the season, do things stay the same in the second half, or do the Browns start losing a few more games? We walk through our predictions against the Bengals, Patriots, Lions, Ravens (x2), Raiders, Packers, Steelers, and Bengals to wrap up 2021. So where do we all come in on the Browns 2021 record, and how did the final fan vote tally up? Again, we thank everyone who participated in the schedule predictions at www.thedawgs.com. Next on the slate is the final preseason matchup against the Falcons in Atlanta on Sunday night. We'll be back next week to recap the game, the preseason, and to take a look ahead at Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs. ▬ Contents of this video ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 0:00 - Intro 3:22 - Join our new pick'em league and play with us! 5:13 - Browns vs Giants preseason game recap 20:42 - Schedule predictions, part 2 22:16 - Week 9: @ Bengals 25:36 - Week 10: @ Patriots 28:52 - Week 11: vs Lions 32:15 - Week 12: @ Ravens 36:21 - Week 13: vs Ravens 39:23 - Week 14: vs Raiders 40:50 - Week 15: @ Packers 45:30 - Week 16: @ Steelers 48:22 - Week 17: vs Bengals 54:00 - Dawgs After Hours preview Head over to our NEW website at https://www.thedawgspodcast.com/ (https://www.thedawgspodcast.com) and send us a voicemail with your thoughts or record an intro for an upcoming episode. Mel is Finally Back for this new episode & discloses where in fact she was (not like she is believed). Mo starts the show with a bang, being wrong (you’ll have to tune in to next weeks episode to know why) but the ladies are BACK together & ready for the show. With Week 1 of the NFL in the can, they are joined by an actual living & breathing Cleveland Browns fan, named Alex Bleiker. Alex, who is the product presentation stylist for Nike, is a die-hard fan to his “Brownies” and a lover at heart to his sneakers. Alex talked about the changes in the Browns team roster in the last couple years, always striving to “rebuild” and believing in this team they have now. He attended the Week 1 game of Titans vs. Browns, live and direct from the “Factory of Sadness” aka First Energy Stadium. Alex described the energy at the tailgate, in the stadium and how fans reacted to the not-so-expected week 1 loss, describing to the Ladies his roller coaster of emotions throughout the entire game. With that being said, the Ladies decided to extend the show to ANOTHER full hour w/ additional special guest, straight off the plan in Vegas. Mo & Mel were super excited to have one of their former call-in Guests, LIVE and in person! CAA Combat Agent, Marquel Martin joins the ladies and details his day to day working relationships with his clients, UFC’s Francis Ngannou and Kevin “Motown Phenom”Lee. Marquel is also a former football player for our beloved UNLV and shares some insights on the recruitment process for student athletes (we could barely believe it) as well as what the future holds for his clients and possible fights he would like to see happen.
