Dnešný text sa začína týmto paradoxom: Ako môže vyrásť a prežiť vinič na púšti? Aj ja som taký „vinič“ – Božie stvorenie predurčené prinášať dobré ovocie. No kde ma Boh našiel? Veru, na púšti tohto sveta. Daroval mi však nový život a ja sa Mu už nechcem odcudziť. Chcem vďačne prijímať každý nový deň s Ním. Ako radi si privlastňujeme slová požehnania a nachádzame potešenie v dobrých dňoch?! Vždy znova a znova si s nadšením pripomíname povzbudzujúce verše z Božieho slova o tom, že nás vody nezaplavia, ani plameň nespáli (Iz 43,2), že hoci aj polia nevydajú potravu, budeme jasať v Bohu našej spásy (Ab 3,17-18) alebo o zasľúbení požehnania (5M 28), či Žalmy 127 a 128 o odmene v podobe vydarených detí a dobrého životného partnera. Božie slovo je trvalé a nemenné. Môžem si ho privlastniť. Hovorí aj dnes ku mne osobne. Keď som oddala svoj život Pánovi Ježišovi, keď Ho túžim nasledovať, milovať blížnych, rásť vo viere a tešiť sa do nebeského domova, akákoľvek starosť a skúška môže byť pre mňa iba požehnaním. Len vytrvať a zostať verná! Zmluva v krvi s mojím Vykupiteľom je večná. Modlitba: Drahý Pane Bože, prosím Ťa, preveď ma časným životom k Sebe do večnej slávy! Viem, že si to nijako nezaslúžim, ale vďaka Tvojej milosti smiem dôverovať! Amen. Trust Powers Enterprise AI The Big Themes: Autonomous Enterprise Vision: Jan Gilg said Sapphire generated strong enthusiasm because customers finally heard a clear vision for enterprise AI. Rather than focusing solely on AI models or isolated features, SAP presented an integrated strategy built around the Autonomous Suite and Business AI. While consumer AI has dramatically improved personal productivity, enterprise leaders need AI that can help make critical business decisions and automate end-to-end processes. SAP's message resonated because it connected AI directly to business execution, positioning enterprise systems as the foundation for autonomous operations rather than treating AI as a standalone technology layer. AI Economics Matter: Another major topic was the cost of AI. Gilg noted that enterprises are becoming increasingly focused on transparency, consumption, and measurable outcomes. As AI usage expands, costs can grow rapidly, creating new concerns for business leaders. Customers want detailed visibility into which agents are being used, how resources are consumed, and whether the resulting business value justifies the expense. Gilg compared this need for transparency to a detailed telephone bill. Data Quality Determines Success: The interview concluded with examples demonstrating that AI success depends heavily on modernized systems and clean data. Gilg spoke of initiatives involving retailers such as H&M, where AI can improve customer experiences, fulfillment, and revenue generation. He also referenced work with Bayer and discussed ExxonMobil's modernization journey. These examples reinforced a key point: AI delivers the greatest value when built on standardized processes, strong master data, and simplified architectures. In today's Cloud Wars Minute, explore how SAP's Autonomous Suite could become the operating system for AI-powered enterprises Highlights 00:02 — The company that more than 50 years ago really started the whole enterprise applications business, SAP, last month at its big Sapphire event rolled out the latest, greatest, newest AI-powered version of their long-running ERP suite, but this time it's called the Autonomous Suite, so that's a huge change. 00:33 — I had a chance to sit down with Jan Gilg, who's Global President for Customer Success for the Americas at SAP headquarters and asked about a number of things that customers have the opportunity to move into with this newer, more fully integrated, more AI-powered Autonomous Suite. And I know there's been some risk that SAP took in selecting this name. 01:49 — Jan's been in SAP for about 15 years. He was on the development side for a long time, and he was leading, several years ago, the development of S/4HANA and that whole version of the suite. 02:36 — We talked about this issue of trust. Autonomous is right there in the name. It's one thing for different autonomous technologies to manage things. But, when you talk about the autonomous enterprise ... we got into the discussion of what SAP has to do to build up trust among its customers. 03:28 — What's the interplay between agentic AI and applications going in both directions? Oracle can now refer to its Fusion Applications as Agentic Applications. Is SAP doing everything it can to clarify in the minds of customers where applications end and agents begin, and the same thing in the other direction? Od tvojho rozhodnutia dnes závisí, či bude tvoj život zajtra i naveky požehnaný, alebo prekliaty, naplnený, alebo stratený.“ K požehnaniu a ochrane našich detí neprispeje nosenie kabalistického červeného náramku, ani smart hodiniek, ale naše každodenné svedectvo o Božej úžasnej láske, ktorá sa dokázala v živote Pána Ježiša Krista a na golgotskom kríži. Giving them this environment lets them get out of their comfort zone and grow. Stay away from the “how”.Over communicate with team members. Give boundaries and set up the right framework.Fail often, fail early is a key philosophy, not only in the Technology industry.Total consensus is not the goal in projects.As a leader- the more concerns you can hear, the better.Vulnerability is needed for all of these aspects of a product: running experiments, having feedback sessions and how things are going, and there is a sounding board as well. Articulate a clear vision and strategy in addition to acknowledging nothing is going to be perfect. Create the safety to have open communication, including challenges. This creates collective responsibility in the system.It's important to acknowledge and accept the realities of the world and life. We need to give employees more flexibility.You have to take time to create team spirit which builds collaboration and connection. Everyone needs to feel like they are part of something bigger than themselves, make sure you connect your people to that purpose and vision which will unlock potential and motivation. Host of Ten Minutes to a Better Building, Tyler Kern, sat down with Geoffrey Gilg, an energy engineer at Boland — the leading commercial provider of HVAC systems, services and building energy solutions. The pair discussed the efforts building owners can make to lower their energy usage intensity (EUI). A factor in measuring EUI is through the ENERGY STAR score, a one to 100 score that annually ranks just how much energy a building is consuming, per the official website. “The best way to analyze it is to put it into the ENERGY STAR's portfolio manager, and that will give you an ENERGY STAR score that rates you anywhere from one, which is very low, to 100, which is high. That tells you how you rate relative to other buildings of the same usage type,” said Gilg. Gilg added that this is comparatively done only between buildings that house the same facilities, such as office buildings or hospitals. So, a building that has an energy star score of 50 simply means that its energy usage is 50% better than other buildings in a similar category. Naturally, many buildings and companies aim to have the highest score, but that can't always be the case. Luckily, there are solutions that come in levels to help them get there. Most solutions involve actions such as reducing energy use at all hours of the day (unless the building is operating 24 hours), thermostat controlling, and overall proper management of energy-efficient mechanisms. However, building owners must reach various tiers in numerical order before they can obtain a better score. These tiers are: 1. Occupant health and safety 2. Space requirements 3. Occupant comfort 4. Energy efficiency

This podcast provides some deeper insights into our new publication by Solovyeva et al. (2021) dealing with Arctic Geese in the Eastern Russian Arctic. It provides a showcase for the 'New Digital Arctic' as the myriad changes in the Arctic land-, sea- and coastal-scape are unfolding so fast with devastating outcomes (Krupnik and Crowell 2020). This research shows a more nuanced range and distribution pattern for these two species - Tundra Bean Geese & Greater White-fronted Geese - during moult and brood-rearing than previously known for flyway delineations, nesting and summer range maps etc. This was possible by using Machine Learning and many Open Access GIS data ("Big Data"). Based on the first-time online release of 24 years of field data in very remote areas like rivers of Yakutia, Chaun research station, Chukotka and Northern Kamchatka it presents the best-available public and digital information on the topic, added by GBIF.org data as well as compiled and geo-referenced (Russian) literature data for a good model assessment. This podcast emphasizes the experience and suggestions for data sharing in polar regions and elsehere, as stated by D. Carlson for the International Polar Year (IPY; Carlson 2011) making open access approaches a best-professional practice, if not already mandatory by many funders, e.g.Huettmann et al. (2011), Huettmann and Ickert-Bod (2017) for examples. An application is provided how it can affect better management and protection, e.g. for Climate Change forecast and conservation (Spiridonov et al. 2012). This research raises the question why so many data repositories are either empty, locked behind passwords, or underused, and it shows that Open Access and Open Source in 'The Cloud' can provide a generic progress tfor everybody. Here we provide a workflow and baseline across international researchers to achieve such outcomes with ISO-complian metadata to actually understand the data sets, model inference and outcome. The International Polar Years (IPYs) are meant to provide unbiased research and progress - a great leap forward - for polar regions and wider global issues. Starting in 1882 they are organized app. every 50 years by the international community, and the last IPY just finished in 2007/8 as one of the largest internationally coordinated modern research initiatives in the world. While the world moves fully into the Anthropocene, many new and dramatic changes in the polar regions - any region initially covered by ice (e.g. Arctic, Antarctic and Hindu Kush Himalaya) - warrant a new and urgent IPY to tackle truly global research questions relevant for mankind. As conservation is time-critical here I elaborate on the value of IPYs and why a new one is needed so urgently, not just by 2057 or so. This IPY should be global and fully involve the global community and modern science questions for cutting-edge sustainable governance and policy benefitting mankind and Mother Earth through polar regions. An Omaha native, Deborah became the first female United States Attorney for Nebraska in 2009. She quickly was recognized for her leadership skills while United States Attorney by her appointment as Chair of U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder's Federal Task Force on Violence Against Native American women followed by appointment to U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch's Advisory Committee.  She was instrumental in developing one of four pilot projects in the United States to dedicate an Assistant U.S. Attorney to the Nebraska tribes for the investigation and prosecution of domestic violence and sexual assault cases against Native American women.
