As one of our finest actors, Keith Robinson carved a career on stages around the country. As a  wit and treasured talisman, he kept us informed and in stitches with his regular postings on social media.Keith's repertoire of characters included the great clowns of Shakespeare. He was admired for his tremendous physicality in realising these endearing fools and jesters …. and for his dependability in affecting an audience.As a member of the ensemble at Belvoir Theatre, he contributed to the success of milestone productions such as Hamlet, The Tempest, The Alchemist, Night On Bald Mountain and Picasso at the Lapin Agile. Keith's extensive theatre credits also included the Dickensian epic Nicholas Nickleby with the Sydney Theatre Company ……  and ventures into musical theatre with the premiere Australian production of Les Miserables. As performer and playwright -  Keith co-authored (with Tony Taylor) the silly, comic romp The Popular Mechanicals - a fond valentine to the determined amateur acting troupe of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. In 2006 his life upon the boards looked like being snatched away when he was diagnosed with a neurological condition, called Guillain-Barre syndrome. His personal expression as an actor became compromised with limited mobility and the necessity of a wheelchair. But Keith was a determined thespian …. and in 2016 he returned to the Belvoir stage as a wise and moving Feste …. in a production of Twelfth Night. As well as a phenomenal talent, Keith was immensely entertaining and terrific company. Passionate, funny and tremendously informed, Keith traversed an eventful life on and off the stage. His legacy of compelling screen performances are fortunately preserved in television productions such as the anthology series Summer Love, season 2 of The Twelve and in a much discussed TVC for Australia post, where we may still be able to find him at various point of sale.This conversation, recorded for the STAGES podcast, took place in May 2021 when Keith was preparing to play Leonid Gayev in The Cherry Orchard at the Belvoir street theatre. durée : 00:19:59 - Les Nuits de France Culture - par : Albane Penaranda - Roland Dorgelès, écrivain, amoureux passionné de Montmartre, initiateur en 1910 du canular mettant en scène l'âne Lolo (peintre du "Couché de soleil sur l'Adriatique") racontait, en 1966, ses souvenirs, en 6 épisodes. Diffusion du 1er volet, il y est question de Montmartre et de ses habitants... En mars 1910, on put admirer au 26ème Salon des indépendants à Paris une toile intitulée « Et le soleil s'endormit sur l'Adriatique », peinte par un certain Joachim-Raphaël Boronali. Le véritable auteur de cette ouvre, comme on l'apprit peu après, n'était autre qu'un âne baptisé Lolo.  Le canular avait été mis au point par Roland Dorgelès, jeune journaliste à l'époque et futur écrivain célèbre, qui, suggérant qu'on pouvait peindre comme un âne et exposer, torpillait ainsi les avant-gardes artistiques de son temps. Ce dernier n'aurait sans doute pas imaginé que ce gag donnerait naissance, quelques décennies plus tard, à toute une lignée de peintres bourricots.  * Le 30 juin 2012, dans le cadre d'une performance orchestrée par Ben et Alain Snyers à la Villa Arson de Nice, un âne baptisé « Lolo II » peignait en effet une toile intitulée « Et le soleil s'endormit sur Nice ». L'année suivante, pour l'ouverture de la Fondation du doute à Blois, pilotée par le même Ben, Alain Biet fabriquait quant à lui un âne jupon, Lolo III, pour réaliser un troisième tableau hommage, le « Coucher de soleil sur la loire ». Mais revenons aux sources de l'histoire : le 3 octobre 1966, dans le premier volet d'une série de six entretiens diffusés sur France Culture, Roland Dorgelès racontait à Jacques Meyer ses souvenirs montmartrois, et la mise au point de cette féconde supercherie...  L'entretien avec Jean Meyer commençait par une véritable déclaration d'amour à Montmartre :  J'ai passionnément aimé Montmartre et je plains ceux qui ne l'ont pas connu à la belle époque. C'était véritablement un village, ce n'était pas du tout un quartier de Paris, ce n'était pas non plus un faux village folklorique installé pour les touristes, c'était vraiment un village qui était oublié là, on ne sait pourquoi, sans doute parce que Haussmann n'avait pas eu le courage de monter la côte. J'ai l'impression que c'est mon pays natal. Il se souvenait de sa première vision de Montmartre :  J'étais émerveillé je découvrais un village comme je n'en ai jamais vu d'aussi parfait, avec ses moulins, (...) il y avait des tonnelles, des chants d'oiseau on était transporté dans un autre monde, un siècle en arrière. Devant le Sacré Coeur j'ai vu faucher les foins ! Sur la fameuse toile « Et le soleil s'endormit sur l'Adriatique », peinte par un certain Joachim-Raphaël Boronali mais, en réalité, sous sa direction, par l'âne Lolo : J'étais un peu irrité par la peinture de certains qui ne me plaisait pas, alors pour blaguer je dis un jour aux camarades :" je vais envoyer une toile au salon et j'aurais plus succès que vous tous". Je ne savais pas du tout ce que je comptais faire puis j'ai eu une idée. Si au lieu de peindre moi-même, ce qui serait mauvais, car je ne sais pas peindre, si je faisais peindre le tableau par l'âne du Lapin Agile, Lolo, ce serait étonnant, ce serai un succès, on révélerait la blague au dernier moment, cela ferait un scandale, ce serait très bien ! Đồi Montmartre, ở Paris, lại tưng bừng với Hội mùa Thu hoạch (Fête des Vendanges) từ ngày 05 đến 09/10/2022. Hàng năm, khoảng 3.000 chai vang đỏ và hồng được ủ từ nho của gần 1.900 gốc, trong đó nhiều gốc trồng năm 1933. Toàn bộ số tiền bán rượu được dành cho các chương trình xã hội của quận 18. Được tổ chức từ 80 năm nay, Hội mùa Thu hoạch là dịp thưởng thức ẩm thực và đắm mình trong không khí hội hè nổi tiếng của Montmartre. Montmartre từng là vùng đất hoang vu với một tu viện được xây vào thế kỷ XII và vài ruộng nho xung quanh. Rồi người ta đến trồng rau, trồng nho, lập làng quanh tu viện. Nét điền dã dần biến mất với quá trình đô thị hóa từ thế kỷ XIX. Một tầng lớp cư dân mới, chủ yếu là người nghèo, trộm cắp, công nhân và cả những nghệ sĩ nay đây mai đó, bị đẩy khỏi quá trình đô thị hóa Paris theo kế hoạch của kiến trúc sư Haussmann, đến sống ở rìa làng, hình thành khu ổ chuột (maquis de Montmartre), không điện, không nước với những căn nhà lụp xụp xen giữa thảm thực vật hoang dại. Từ khu ổ chuột thành “mồi” cho giới bất động sản Chính quyền cũng quay lưng với những “thành phần không một xu dính túi”, ít nhất cho đến cuối thế kỷ XIX. Vào Thời kỳ Tươi đẹp (Belle Epoque, 1871-1880), những vùng trên cao ở Paris trở thành khu vực giải trí sành điệu. Làng Montmartre lột xác. Các quán rượu mọc lên ầm ầm, thu hút giới tinh hoa Paris và những nghệ sĩ nổi tiếng đương thời. Đất ở Montmartre lên giá. Ngôi làng trở trành miếng mồi cho giới thầu xây dựng. Người dân nghèo bị đuổi khỏi khu ổ chuột, đôi khi không được tái định cư. Những tòa nhà theo kiến trúc Haussmann lần lượt mọc trên đại lộ Junot ở chân đồi, thêm vài ngôi biệt thự theo kiến trúc Anh, Tân Nghệ thuật dành cho nhà giầu (biệt thự Léandre). Quá trình thay đổi của khu đồi được tái hiện rõ ở Bảo tàng Montmartre (Musée de Montmartre, được bà Saskia Ooms, phụ trách bảo tàng, giới thiệu với RFI Tiếng Việt : “Bảo tàng muốn giới thiệu quá trình thay đổi của khu phố theo thứ tự thời gian. Những chiếc cối xay gió và mỏ khai thác thạch cao dần biến mất để mở đại lộ Junot, rồi Montmartre được sáp nhập vào quận 18 Paris năm 1860. Ngoài ra, còn có lịch sử của tu viện Montmartre, cùng với những cánh đồng nho gắn liền với lịch sử của khu đồi. Chúng tôi may mắn có bộ sưu tập đa ngành rất đa dạng, gồm tranh, ảnh, ma-két, đồ vật… cho thấy quá trình thay đổi của khu phố. Ngoài ra, bảo tàng còn có rất nhiều tấm áp-phích do các nghệ sĩ lúc đó thực hiện, đồ sứ Clignancourt sang trọng, cũng như những đồ vật mang tính dân gian cho thấy nét đặc biệt của khu phố. Khách tham quan có thể xem kịch bóng được tái dựng ở phòng trưng bày Chat Noir. Đây là khu trưng bày hiếm có, nơi người xem như hòa mình vào khung cảnh huyên náo, nhộn nhịp của khu phố và tiệm hát huyền thoại do Rodolphe Salis thành lập”. Nhà thờ Thánh Tâm (Basilique du Sacré-Coeur de Montmartre), được khởi công năm 1875, ban đầu bị coi là lời thóa mạ đến tinh thần cách mạng, nhưng lại góp phần làm thay đổi cảnh quan đồi Montmartre. Một bên là tâm linh, bên kia là trần tục, nhộn nhạo với những hàng cà phê, quán rượu trong thập niên 1880. “Nét đặc trưng của khu phố được truyền tải qua những quán rượu, cà phê mọc trên đồi Montmartre từ năm 1888. Thực ra, rất nhiều nghệ sĩ đã đến Montmartre vào khoảng thập niên 1870, sau đó, họ thường xuyên lui tới những quán cà phê, ngày càng đông hơn ở trên đồi, đặc biệt phải kể đến quán Café du Chat noir (Cà phê Mèo Đen), rất nổi tiếng, rất đông khách và thường chiếu kịch bóng. Tất cả được chúng tôi trưng bày trong phòng triển lãm Mèo Đen. Ngoài ra, còn có nhiều diễn viên sân khấu, cũng như những anh hề của Gánh xiếc Medrano nổi tiếng, được nhiều nghệ sĩ tái hiện trong tác phẩm của họ. Trong bảo tàng, khách tham quan có thể thấy tấm áp-phích rất đẹp của họa sĩ Toulouse-Lautrec quảng cáo buổi diễn mỗi tối của Aristide Bruant ở quán rượu-cà phê Mirliton, hoặc về Jane Avril và Yvette Guilbert, hai vũ nữ rất nổi tiếng”. Cái nôi của nghệ thuật, nơi giao lưu của văn nghệ sĩ Montmartre trở thành trung tâm của thủ đô nghệ thuật Paris vào đầu thế kỷ XX. Chính tại khu phố thời thượng này, Bateau-Lavoir, một trong những nơi cư trú nổi tiếng của các nghệ sĩ đã ra đời. Dãy nhà cấp bốn, ban đầu là phòng khiêu vũ, sau đó là xưởng làm đàn piano, được ngăn dọc thành khoảng 20 xưởng vẽ nhỏ, làm liên tưởng đến hành lang trên boong tầu nên được nhà thơ Max Jacob đặt tên là Bateau-Lavoir. Lúc đầu, đây chỉ là nơi lưu trú của các nghệ sĩ Ý và Tây Ban Nha, dần dần Bateau-Lavoir trở thành nơi giao lưu của giới văn-nghệ sĩ. Guillaume Apollinaire, Amedeo Modigliani, Henri Matisse, Georges Braque, Jean Cocteau… từng sống trong “ngôi nhà chung”. Bateau-Lavoir trở thành “Villa Medicis của hội họa hiện đại”, nơi danh họa Picasso gặp người bạn đời, người mẫu Fernande Olivier. “Tại khu Bateau-Lavoir, Picasso vẽ bức Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (Những cô gái ở Avignon). Đó cũng là nơi sáng tác của Kees Van Dongen, Othon Friesz, Juan Gris và nhiều nghệ sĩ khác. Các nghệ sĩ tiên phong trong khu phố đã thực sự ganh đua với nhau vào thời đó. Rất nhiều tác phẩm của những nghệ sĩ đã sống trong bảo tàng cũng được trưng bày, như Suzanne Valadon, Maurice Utrillo và André Utter. Trước khi trở thành bảo tàng hiện nay, khu nhà này có những xưởng vẽ, rất nhiều nghệ sĩ đã sống ở đây, trong đó có Raoul Dufy, Othon Friesz, Charles Camoin, Émile Bernard”. Từ khu vườn của bảo tàng có thể nhìn xuống ruộng nho duy nhất Clos-Montmartre, chếch xa hơn một chút là quán rượu Lapin Agile, được coi là “ngôi đền” của giới nghệ sĩ và người thích hát. Họa sĩ biếm họa André Gill vẽ biển hiệu cho quán rượu là một chú thỏ đang nhảy ra khỏi nồi. Từ đó, người ta gọi là Chú thỏ của Gill (le Lapin à Gil), sau được lái thành Chú thỏ nhanh nhẹn (le Lapin Agile) và giữ cho đến nay. Bà Saskia Ooms nhận xét : “Montmartre là một trong những khu phố hiếm hoi vẫn giữ được nét quyến rũ đặc biệt. Phần lớn khu phố vẫn như xưa. Người ta vẫn thấy những địa điểm nổi tiếng như nhà hàng Lapin Agile, Lâu đài Sương mù (Château des Brouillards), Ngôi nhà mầu hồng (Maison Rose), Cối xa gió đỏ (Moulin Rouge), nghĩa trang Saint-Vincent tạo nên nét quyến rũ, cổ kính và rất độc đáo cho khu phố”.  Làng trong phố Hầu hết những địa điểm được bà Saskia Ooms nhắc đến đều nằm quanh khu phố Abreuvoir, hiện là điểm “check-in” không thể bỏ qua của du khách. Đầu phố là nhà hàng Maison rose (Ngôi nhà mầu hồng) nổi tiếng, được xây vào khoảng năm 1850, sau đó bị bỏ hoang, rồi được Laure Gargallo, người mẫu cho Picasso, mua lại và sơn hồng để làm quán ăn nhỏ cho những người bạn nghệ sĩ. Giữa phố Abreuvoir là tượng ca sĩ Dalida, ngay cạnh Lâu đài Sương mù với những câu chuyện ma chưa có lời giải. Có lẽ nhờ một số người dân chống cưỡng chế để đô thị hóa Montmartre vào đầu thế kỷ XX mà khu phố vẫn giữ được nét nông thôn điểm xuyết trong cảnh quan đã thay đổi. Họ buộc phải rời đi vào những năm 1940 do tình trạng nhà xuống cấp. Montmartre có khoảng 15 cối xay gió được xây từ năm 1591 đến 1741 và hiện còn lại hai, được trùng tu, nằm ở phố Lepic. Nổi tiếng nhất và ở trên cao nhất là cối xay gió Blute-fin nằm trong khu nhà riêng nên chỉ có thể nhìn từ ngoài đường. Radet, cối xay gió còn lại thứ hai, được di chuyển đến vị trí hiện nay từ thế kỷ XIX để làm quán rượu và hiện là nhà hàng Moulin de la Galette. Riêng Moulin Rouge (Cối xay gió đỏ), quán rượu nổi tiếng với vũ điệu Cancan, được Joseph Oller và Charles Zidler cho xây năm 1889 làm tụ điểm giải trí. Quá trình phát triển của Montmartre và Moulin Rouge gắn chặt nhau suốt thế kỷ XX và được tái hiện trong bảo tàng : “Bảo tàng dành riêng một gian trưng bày về quán rượu Moulin Rouge nổi tiếng với một đoạn trích trong phim French Cancan (Điệu nhảy cancan của Pháp) của Jean Renoir. Ngoài ra còn có rất nhiều ảnh của những vũ nữ nổi tiếng. Họ có bưu thiếp riêng, in hình họ, để bán hoặc tặng cho người hâm mộ vì đó cũng là những nghệ sĩ tài hoa, quyến rũ. Bên cạnh đó còn có Quảng trường Pigalle. Còn trong tấm áp-phích của Toulouse-Lautrec, có thể thấy Cối xay gió Đỏ (Moulin Rouge)”. Ngoài những điểm quá nổi tiếng, như Nhà thờ Thánh Tâm Sacré-Coeur, nhà thờ Saint-Pierre, Quảng trường Tertre với những quán cà phê và họa sĩ dạo dưới bóng cây tiêu huyền, bà Saskia Ooms gợi ý một số điểm quyến rũ nhưng không đông người : “Trước tiên là khu vườn của bảo tàng Montmartre, được coi là chốn thanh bình, rất hiếm ở Paris và rất đặc biệt nhờ quán Café Renoir, nơi khách tham quan có thể nhâm nhi từng khoảnh khắc hạnh phúc.  Tiếp theo là khu phố Abbesse, rất quyến rũ với quảng trường cùng tên và nhà thờ tuyệt đẹp ngay cạnh. Rồi còn có những con ngõ, con phố nhỏ, như phố Chevalier de la Barre, phố Lepic, công viên Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet ở ngay sau Nhà thờ Thánh Tâm, vườn hoa Clignancourt, hay vườn hoa Suzanne Buisson ẩn mình giữa đại lộ Genet và phố Simon Dereure. Tất cả cho thấy vẻ đẹp tuyệt vời của Montmartre. Du khách có thể cảm nhận được không khí hư ảo trong khu phố tuyệt vời này”.

Trong bảo tàng, khách tham quan có thể thấy tấm áp-phích rất đẹp của họa sĩ Toulouse-Lautrec quảng cáo buổi diễn mỗi tối của Aristide Bruant ở quán rượu-cà phê Mirliton, hoặc về Jane Avril và Yvette Guilbert, hai vũ nữ rất nổi tiếng”. Chính tại khu phố thời thượng này, Bateau-Lavoir, một trong những nơi cư trú nổi tiếng của các nghệ sĩ đã ra đời. Lúc đầu, đây chỉ là nơi lưu trú của các nghệ sĩ Ý và Tây Ban Nha, dần dần Bateau-Lavoir trở thành nơi giao lưu của giới văn-nghệ sĩ. Guillaume Apollinaire, Amedeo Modigliani, Henri Matisse, Georges Braque, Jean Cocteau… từng sống trong “ngôi nhà chung”. Bateau-Lavoir trở thành “Villa Medicis của hội họa hiện đại”, nơi danh họa Picasso gặp người bạn đời, người mẫu Fernande Olivier. “Tại khu Bateau-Lavoir, Picasso vẽ bức Les Demoiselles d'Avignon (Những cô gái ở Avignon). Đó cũng là nơi sáng tác của Kees Van Dongen, Othon Friesz, Juan Gris và nhiều nghệ sĩ khác. Các nghệ sĩ tiên phong trong khu phố đã thực sự ganh đua với nhau vào thời đó. Rất nhiều tác phẩm của những nghệ sĩ đã sống trong bảo tàng cũng được trưng bày, như Suzanne Valadon, Maurice Utrillo và André Utter. Trước khi trở thành bảo tàng hiện nay, khu nhà này có những xưởng vẽ, rất nhiều nghệ sĩ đã sống ở đây, trong đó có Raoul Dufy, Othon Friesz, Charles Camoin, Émile Bernard”. Từ khu vườn của bảo tàng có thể nhìn xuống ruộng nho duy nhất Clos-Montmartre, chếch xa hơn một chút là quán rượu Lapin Agile, được coi là “ngôi đền” của giới nghệ sĩ và người thích hát. Họa sĩ biếm họa André Gill vẽ biển hiệu cho quán rượu là một chú thỏ đang nhảy ra khỏi nồi. Từ đó, người ta gọi là Chú thỏ của Gill (le Lapin à Gil), sau được lái thành Chú thỏ nhanh nhẹn (le Lapin Agile) và giữ cho đến nay. Bà Saskia Ooms nhận xét : “Montmartre là một trong những khu phố hiếm hoi vẫn giữ được nét quyến rũ đặc biệt. Phần lớn khu phố vẫn như xưa. Người ta vẫn thấy những địa điểm nổi tiếng như nhà hàng Lapin Agile, Lâu đài Sương mù (Château des Brouillards), Ngôi nhà mầu hồng (Maison Rose), Cối xa gió đỏ (Moulin Rouge), nghĩa trang Saint-Vincent tạo nên nét quyến rũ, cổ kính và rất độc đáo cho khu phố”.  Làng trong phố Hầu hết những địa điểm được bà Saskia Ooms nhắc đến đều nằm quanh khu phố Abreuvoir, hiện là điểm “check-in” không thể bỏ qua của du khách. Đầu phố là nhà hàng Maison rose (Ngôi nhà mầu hồng) nổi tiếng, được xây vào khoảng năm 1850, sau đó bị bỏ hoang, rồi được Laure Gargallo, người mẫu cho Picasso, mua lại và sơn hồng để làm quán ăn nhỏ cho những người bạn nghệ sĩ. Giữa phố Abreuvoir là tượng ca sĩ Dalida, ngay cạnh Lâu đài Sương mù với những câu chuyện ma chưa có lời giải. Có lẽ nhờ một số người dân chống cưỡng chế để đô thị hóa Montmartre vào đầu thế kỷ XX mà khu phố vẫn giữ được nét nông thôn điểm xuyết trong cảnh quan đã thay đổi. Họ buộc phải rời đi vào những năm 1940 do tình trạng nhà xuống cấp. Montmartre có khoảng 15 cối xay gió được xây từ năm 1591 đến 1741 và hiện còn lại hai, được trùng tu, nằm ở phố Lepic. Nổi tiếng nhất và ở trên cao nhất là cối xay gió Blute-fin nằm trong khu nhà riêng nên chỉ có thể nhìn từ ngoài đường. Radet, cối xay gió còn lại thứ hai, được di chuyển đến vị trí hiện nay từ thế kỷ XIX để làm quán rượu và hiện là nhà hàng Moulin de la Galette. Riêng Moulin Rouge (Cối xay gió đỏ), quán rượu nổi tiếng với vũ điệu Cancan, được Joseph Oller và Charles Zidler cho xây năm 1889 làm tụ điểm giải trí. Quá trình phát triển của Montmartre và Moulin Rouge gắn chặt nhau suốt thế kỷ XX và được tái hiện trong bảo tàng : “Bảo tàng dành riêng một gian trưng bày về quán rượu Moulin Rouge nổi tiếng với một đoạn trích trong phim French Cancan (Điệu nhảy cancan của Pháp) của Jean Renoir. Ngoài ra còn có rất nhiều ảnh của những vũ nữ nổi tiếng. Họ có bưu thiếp riêng, in hình họ, để bán hoặc tặng cho người hâm mộ vì đó cũng là những nghệ sĩ tài hoa, quyến rũ. Bên cạnh đó còn có Quảng trường Pigalle. Còn trong tấm áp-phích của Toulouse-Lautrec, có thể thấy Cối xay gió Đỏ (Moulin Rouge)”. Ngoài những điểm quá nổi tiếng, như Nhà thờ Thánh Tâm Sacré-Coeur, nhà thờ Saint-Pierre, Quảng trường Tertre với những quán cà phê và họa sĩ dạo dưới bóng cây tiêu huyền, bà Saskia Ooms gợi ý một số điểm quyến rũ nhưng không đông người : “Trước tiên là khu vườn của bảo tàng Montmartre, được coi là chốn thanh bình, rất hiếm ở Paris và rất đặc biệt nhờ quán Café Renoir, nơi khách tham quan có thể nhâm nhi từng khoảnh khắc hạnh phúc.  Tiếp theo là khu phố Abbesse, rất quyến rũ với quảng trường cùng tên và nhà thờ tuyệt đẹp ngay cạnh. Rồi còn có những con ngõ, con phố nhỏ, như phố Chevalier de la Barre, phố Lepic, công viên Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet ở ngay sau Nhà thờ Thánh Tâm, vườn hoa Clignancourt, hay vườn hoa Suzanne Buisson ẩn mình giữa đại lộ Genet và phố Simon Dereure. Paryż jest idealnym miejscem do zatracenia się w muzyce. Powędrowaliśmy więc szlakiem Edith Piaf, wspominając też innych reprezentantów chanson francaise, którym pomogła najsłynniejsza francuska piosenkarka: Yvesa Montanda, Gilberta Becauda czy Charlesa Aznavoura. Zaproponowaliśmy także szlak Dalidy.Zwiedziliśmy budynek Opery Garnier, której już samo wejście robi ogromne wrażenie, ponieważ od razu stajemy się uczestnikami akcji „Upiora w operze”. Byliśmy w słynnych kabaretach: Moulin Rouge, Lido, Lapin Agile i Paradis Latin. Wspominaliśmy występy gwiazd w Olympii, również polskich. Przypomnieliśmy czas, gdy zdecydowano się wysłać tango na edukację salonową do Paryża i Astora Piazzollę, jednego z wielu słynnych uczniów Nadii Boulanger. Przekonaliśmy się też, że Paryż kocha jazz.Mówiąc o polskich wątkach muzycznych nad Sekwaną, myślimy przede wszystkim o Fryderyku Chopinie, jednak serca wielu naszych kompozytorów zwracały się w stronę Paryża, choćby Wandy Landowskiej, Karola Szymanowskiego czy Aleksandra Tansmana. Przypomnieliśmy, że Paryż w okresie międzywojennym stał się wręcz drugą, muzyczną stolicą Polski.Gościem Jerzego Jopa była Grażyna Woźniczka, współtwórczyni kieleckiego biura Polka Travel.

His personal expression as an actor became compromised with limited mobility and the necessity of a wheelchair.Keith is a determined thespian and in 2016 he returned to the Belvoir stage as Feste in a production of Twelfth Night. Island Theatre cofounders Kate Meyers and Steve Stolee discuss the origins and history of Island Theatre, the company's evolution from a more-or-less conventional community theater, to finding a niche with a small room, on-book performances, and the annual Ten Minute Play Festival. Friends for nearly forty years, Steve and Kate will also share stories of the local theatre scene in the eighties, including their first exposure to the community, the Susie Glass Burdick production of Grease, and how it led to an international musical theatre collaboration with a theatre company in Siberia. ABOUT ISLAND THEATRE Incorporated in 1994, Island Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit community theater company in Bainbridge Island, Washington. School of Art. He is a cofounder of Island Theatre and managing Director of the I.T. Ten-Minute Play Festival; a 2019 recipient of the Island Treasure Award for Arts and Humanities, cofounder of The Picture Project, and creator of the documentary film, “Another Man’s Treasure,” a story about the biggest rummage sale in the world. An honest man and a hell of a nice guy, he proudly claims to have danced with the great Cloris Leachman at the Port Townsend Film Festival.

Hal Linden is an Emmy and Tony Award-winning actor, singer, musician, and all around class- act whose prolific career has spanned television, film, the stage, and the recording studio. Among his many memorable roles on the big and small screens, it was his award-winning portrayal of the police precinct captain Barney Miller in the hit ABC TV series that made him a household name. Linden has also appeared in more than 20 Broadway and Off Broadway productions, and received widespread critical acclaim for his cabaret-style variety show that he tours nationally. Although his career has spanned more than 65 years, Linden is not even close to slowing down. He performed in the Old Globe’s record-breaking revival of Picasso at the Lapin Agile, and is in San Diego to film a light-hearted drama, The Samuel Project. Dans cette vidéo je te parle et j'essaie de jouer "La rue Watt" (B. Vian/Y. Gilbert/P. Clay). "La rue Watt" est une superbe chanson avec un texte de Boris Vian, une musique de Yves Gilbert et chantée par Philippe Clay. C'est un morceau faisant parti du répertoire de chansons françaises comme les chansons de Brel, Brassens, Ferré, Gainsbourg, Caussimon... On l'a sûrement jouée lors de veillées au Lapin Agile à Montmartre. C'est une chanson que j'ai découvert lors de veillées justement, non pas au Lapin Agile (mais j'y ai déjà assisté !) mais au Marronnier, petit bar de la Gaude, petit village dans le sud-est de la France. On pourra bientôt jouer à nouveau ce genre de chansons à "La Passerelle", rue Pacho à Nice. Inauguration le 15.09.2017. In this 10-minute podcast, we preview an upcoming play at Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA) with director Teresa Thuman and actor Tim Takechi. The play, "Picasso at the Lapin Agile", will be on stage at BPA from October 7th to 23rd. Tim (who will play Einstein) and Teresa tell BCB about this smart, sophisticated comedy where playwright Steve Martin imagines a young Picasso and young Einstein sparring about art and science in a Paris cafe in 1904. As they describe it, Picasso and Einstein are joined by a small cast of eccentric and hilarious characters at the beginning of the 20th century before the world wars, the Industrial Revolution and momentous social change have had their massive effects on the world. Steve Martin's comedic style is evident in the fast witty dialogue and humorous situations played out by a cast of 12 local actors from Bainbridge Island, Kitsap and Seattle. PAUL PROVENZA is an extraordinary stand-up comedian, director, writer, creator, and producer, as well as a classically trained TV and film actor, who at 20, became one of the few Americans who played "Romeo" on the British stage. In TV, Paul wrote, produced, and starred in the series "Comics Only" and "Pulp Comics" and was a series regular on "Empty Nest," "The Facts of Life," "Northern Exposure," "Beggars and Choosers," "The West Wing," and co-starred in the critically acclaimed CBS TV movie, "Under the Influence" with Keanu Reeves and Andy Griffith. In the literary world, Random House published his book !Satirists!, with noted art/portrait photographer, Dan Dion. In theater, Paul worked with Steve Martin, starring in his hit play, Picasso at the Lapin Agile and directed and co-produced (with Penn Jillette) "The Aristocrats." Paul also co-created Set List: Stand-Up Without a Net which was produced as a TV series in the UK and as a 65 episode order of a web series for Nerdist.
