Dan's  first of two tales covers the lore and supposed paranormal encounters associated with Dublin, Ireland's St. Michan's Church and the dead bodies that reside in the crypts beneath it.  Then, we'll venture over Lake Pleasant, New York, and learn about some rumored murders associated with one of the town's founding fathers and the hauntings associated with those deaths. A man in his 40s has a recollection of a very strange incident from his childhood but only recalls it after his brother passes away. Listen as Dan unfolds this creepy childhood tale. Then we visit a poltergeist case from Columbus, Ohio that made national headlines back in 1984. The story of Tina Resch and the so-called Columbus Poltergeist. After Dan's stories, Lynze gives us a little bit lighter scares but are super fun and fascinating. First, the Hat Man and how one might manifest him. We start this week in Brownwood, Texas where a murder  tragic murder may have added additional paranormal energy to a property already rumored to be haunted.  Then, is a spirit sending emails from the great beyond?  A short and very strange confirmation-type tale that really makes you wonder what's possible. Lastly, we head to Los Angeles to explore the reportedly haunted Sowden House, where some think Elizabeth Short, aka the Black Dahlia, may have been murdered. And that her killer may haunt this location. Then we go to Lynze's side of the show for another three tales. First, we examine the power of the hat man. Can he change us and our destiny? Next up, a creepy haunted house vibe with a construction worker being not-so-alone during his work day. Dan's first of two tales is a modern encounter story set in Sauk Centre, Minnesota's Palmer Hotel. Lynze, of course, was excited when she heard "sock" center!  The second story shares the haunted history of Kansas City, Missouri's St. Mary's Episcopal Church. Does the ghost of an early church leader still haunt its grounds? Then Lynze comes to us with three stories. Her first reminds us of how creepy kids toys can be. Then, an ongoing family situation with a family has one person asking what she married in to! Supposedly true tales this week from Dan include a story about  an elderly widow living alone in the early 1980s and her visitors. Then, we'll bounce around the world to a number of so-called “phantom islands.” Can an island discovered by numerous explorers inexplicably just disappear? And, if so, what does that mean? Then, Lynze brings us three tales in a death sandwich of stories, if you will. Her first is sweet and sad and gives us hope for a connection to our deceased loved ones. Then, a home is not haunted until it is- did a fire wake up a ghost? We are in a bit of a remote, wooded double feature today for Dan's tales. The first of two stories is composed out of what may have been a hermit's final diary entries, as a man living alone in a remote cabin writes of something terrorizing him.   Then we hear the legend of the Dungarvon Whooper, a folklore coming from an old logging camp in New Brunswick, Canada. Then Lynze gives us a life long but seemingly harmless attachment. Or is it? What's happening to this person? We start with a very upsetting story of an imaginary friend in Council Bluffs, Iowa that Dan does an amazing job of bringing to life. Then, in his second tale of the week Dan takes us to Tujunga Canyon for a very bizarre UFO encounter. For the first of two tales, Dan takes us to the old mining city of Ballarat , Australia, to explore reports of hauntings from the 19th century, and some even stranger reports of some ghost hoaxers. Such an entertaining story! Then,  a supposedly true modern encounter tale of someone who might give you something new to worry about. When you think of deceased relatives and other spirits always being near and watching over you, do you ever wonder how much of your life they actually see? Lynze offers us three tales this week. Her first is not that scary but a super fun mystery that has paranormal elements. Then, a big sister encourages her younger sister to make friends with the person in the mirror. What could go wrong? Dan starts this week with a very bizarre story. It's hard to even explain but we are off to Finland to review a tale about a sculpture garden. Then we head to Saudi Arabia to explore the lore around Bride of the Red Sea. Lynze really goes for it this week with five stories! They are short and quite varied. Her first two deal with family members sticking around after their deaths in very small, kind but still eery ways. Then, because it's March, she offers us a little Leprechaun tale. Then, we hear a tale of poltergeist activity not surrounding an angsty teen, which feels new. Dan offers three stories this week. The first is of Scotland's Redcap, a monstrous and murderous little goblin of a creature with lore going back to the 14th century. Next, we'll head to Serbia and talk about the horror lore behind the strange rock formations of Devil's Town. And finally, we'll explore the lore surrounding what might be early America's most famous haunting, the Wizard Clip. Lynze also has three stories this week, so fun! She starts with a story from Louisiana, exploring the space between us and the veil. Then, we go to Colorado for a mimic tale. Dan's first of two stories takes us to India. He relays the story of a man who shares the story of his grandmother's paranormal affliction. Then, Dan shares almost 250 years of history and the haunted lore that surrounds Lompoc  California's La Purísima Spanish Mission. Lynze brings us two tales, both of which have elements we have yet to hear about before! We go to Florida, to The Devil's Armchair in her first story. Dan's first of two stories is centered around a school nurse who claims her encounter literally ended her career. It's very intense, and not fun to think that what she claims to have witnessed could be real.  For his second story, Dan will share the haunted lore of South Carolina's Oakwood Cemetery,  and an encounter that took place there. The first tale this week is the disturbing story of an exorcism that took place in a small town in Australia in 1993. It is upsetting on so many levels. Then Dan shares the lore and modern encounters surrounding the abandoned Manteno  State Hospital south of Chicago. Real life horror, and paranormal horror. This week begins with the anonymous claim of a man who believes he encountered something evil… something not human… while out delivering pizzas late on a Friday night. Did something order a meal to be delivered to them, and was that meal supposed to have been the person bringing the pizza instead of the pizza? Then, Dan covers the infamous Moberly-Jourdain  Incident.  Back in 1901, did two noted academics, Charlotte Ann Moberly and Eleanor Jourdain, slip over a hundred years out of their own time for several minutes while on a trip to France ?  It's a very thought-provoking and creepy tale. Lynze begins with a straightforward haunted house- just classic! She finishes up the show with a unique tale about that feeling known as the "call of the void". Dan's stories at not Thanksgiving related, but one does center around a family get together: a funeral. But first, a story  based in the haunted lore that surrounds  Pennsylvania's currently abandoned  Cresson Sanatorium. We'll hear  the history of the sanatorium, paranormal lore, and a really creepy modern encounter claim.  Then his second story revolves around a disturbing incident at a funeral. Dan's first story is  weird. We had a hard time tracking it and understanding it  so if you have trouble too - don't worry. We'll talk afterwards and clear up any confusion. Then, we'll visit what sure seems to be a powerfully and malevolently haunted former seminary room in Maynooth in County Kildare, Ireland. A haunting that reads like the basis for a really good horror movie. Then, Lynze shares an interesting haunted apartment story where a family lives in two separate apartments in the same building that both seem to be plagued by the same "something". What is it? Where does it stem from? Then, lastly, a creepy mimmic tale. Or is it? Four very different and very interesting tales this week! Dan kicks us off with a story  somewhere in west Texas that centers around some Black Eyed Children. MAYBE. If not BEK, than what? Then, a second story that is set in two different locations in South Carolina, that both claim to be haunted, and both share the same name: The Rose Hill Plantation.  Lynze has two very unique tales this week. Her first explores vulture culture briefly and lost time and space amongst friends. What kind of chaos can you expect when exploring dead carcasses? Wrapping it up, the last tale is of astral projection. Dan's  first story  revolves around a Realtor trying and failing to sell a property that seems to clearly have something supernaturally wrong with it.  Then is off to Eastern Canada, between Montreal and Toronto. Two young men head out to go camping and see more than they bargained for. One of them swears off camping forever as a result! Lynze crushes this week with two tales! Her first is a classic haunted New Orleans hotel story. What could be more spoopy that that? Then, a ouija board tale like none we have ever told. Dan starts with an alleged anonymous modern encounter involving a man hearing a girl's voice as a child - a voice asking him to wake up, and a voice that keeps asking this for many, many years - well into adulthood. And then finally, something very strange happens that leaves him feeling certain that this voice did not just belong. Then, a tale that is about the mysterious and troubling disappearance of a young man who disappeared in the Idaho wilderness, not far from where Dan grew up, back in 2018.  Lynze takes us back to our childhoods with a creepy game of hide and seek. Dan's first tale he is telling is about an anonymous woman allegedly encountering something terrifying in a stairwell. Then, in his second storey,  we learn about an allegedly cursed painting, The Crying Boy, produced by Italian artist Giovanni Bragolin. This painting was mass produced, and an alarming number of homes where prints of this painting have been displayed have burned down over the years. Yet the print itself almost never burns with them. Coincidence? Let's dig in. Lynze has some awesome fan submitted horror this week! The first is a classic road trip story that has a young couple spending the night in a creepy motel. Dan has one really big tale that is beyond captivating and unsettling. It's hard to say more without ruining the story. Then, Lynze brings us three stories this week. Dan crushes this week with one giant tale out of Alaska and a smaller tale from Spain! His first story will take you on a road trip to the northern tip of Alaska, up in the Arctic Circle where life is hard, sparse, and maybe more diverse than we currently know of with certainty? Dan shares two stories. The first one is a big one. We'll visit the Gunter Hotel in San Antonio, Texas. Dan brings us a creepy doll double feature today!  The first  tale, is a story of a little brother terrorized by his older sister's doll, first by her pranking him with it, and then later, the doll seems to take the pranking  on as its own. The next doll revolves around the creepy Swiss legend of the Sennentuntschi. Can a carved wooden doll come to life? Can it get jealous? And - most disturbingly - can it skin you alive? Dan comes with his usual two stories this week. One bigger one, and then a little one. We've done a fair amount of haunted asylum stories here over the years, but few with as detailed of a backstory as today's. We will start by learning about Henry Cotton - a truly mad doctor who worked at the New Jersey State Hospital at Trenton, now The Trenton Psychiatric Hospital. The we will explore if his ghost  now haunts the abandoned portions of this facility. Then, Dan dives into the creepy legend of a supposedly cursed doll named, Joliet. Has this doll been killing newborn babies for decades? Is this a family of Donna's? Let's find out. Then, Lynze has two really intense stories as well and she offers a warning at the top of the show for all parents- these are going to tug at your heartstrings. In her first story, she will share a story about a young child who drowns and nearly doesn't come back. But when she does, does she bring something, or someone, with her? Dan shares a most wild story of creepy Adobe Flash curse being passed around the internet. Then, Dan shares what is possibly a more disturbing tale from Bergen Norway of a Death Valley that holds much lore. Lynze has her standard two tales this week. Dan's first story is a modern encounter story that fits into the Rules of Appalachia Lore. There are a bunch of stories that floated around on TikTok and Reddit the last few years regarding what kinds of strange creatures might be in the woods of Appalachia. His  second has to do with aa Baltimore, Maryland legend. Today's story  it that of a teenage girl who met some sort of tragic end, and whose ghost now seems to be seeking revenge on the living. Lynze has two truly epic tales this week. Her first one will take you on a rollercoaster ride like no other. A haunted house that drives a family mad, in particular one person, who never returns to the safety of our world.
