"Love at First Dance" Hallmark Trailer About "Love at First Dance" "Love at First Dance" first premiered on June 16, 2018. Mark Jean directed "Love at First Dance." Mark as 65 directing credits including, most recently, "Holiday Hotline" from 2023. His directing career dates back to 1985 where his first directorial project was an episode of “Tales from the Darkside” - a horror anthology series. Nina Weinman wrote the script. Everyone knows Nina. She currently has 32 writing credits including "Catch Me If You Claus" from last year's Countdown Christmas. She also wrote another movie starring Niall Matter - “Never Kiss a Man in a Christmas Sweater” in 2020. Becca Tobin stars as Hope. Becca has just 15 acting credits but also appeared in 49 episodes of the FOX series "Glee" as Kitty Wilde. For Hallmark, she was most recently in "The Wedding Contract" from the summer of 2023. Fan favorite Niall Matter plays Eric. Niall currently has 64 acting credits. We last saw him in “Holiday Hotline” and as DJ Ginger Jeff in “A Santa Summit.”  We'd like to see Niall reprise his role as Jackson in the "Family History Mysteries" franchise. Cecilia Deacon plays fiancé Adrianna. Cecilia has 15 acting credits and appeared in “Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Home Again” and “A Timeless Christmas” for Hallmark. Also noteworthy, she has appeared in 2 episodes of the CW series “Nancy Drew” - BINGO. Call to add a square to the GGH BINGO card: Laura Soltis. Laura plays Leona. She appears in a lot of Hallmark movies and currently has 61 acting credits. We last saw her in “A Season for Family” during Countdown to Christmas. I'm ready for Laura to have a lead role for Hallmark. There aren't enough roles for women of a certain age and Barbara Niven needs a vacation. Niall Matter told Media Village in 2018 that this movie was filmed in both Victoria, B.C. as well as New York, saying “No green screen, it was real!” Other filming location included the Royal Theatre in Victoria as well as the Empress Hotel. Filming took place from late April to early May 2018. IMDB ratings are kind of low for this movie with 6.5/10.  What's Coming to Girls Gone Hallmark in February?

Got an old Hallmark Channel favorite you'd like Girls Gone Hallmark to consider reviewing? Email the show at meganandwendy@gmail.com. Listen to Megan and Wendy review Hallmark Channel fan favorite movie: "Wedding Every Weekend" starring Paul Campbell and Kimberley Sustad. About "Wedding Every Weekend" ‘Wedding Every Weekend' was filmed in Canada including Vancouver, British Columbia. This movie was filmed in June and July 2020, after the pandemic started, so there were social distancing rules in place. In an interview with The Sarah Scoop Show, Sustad said that they were the first production back since the pandemic started. Paul Campbell told Media Village “they were the first production to film during phase three of the reopening, starting on June 20" and "everyone wore masks, sanitized, and some had to stay within their departments.”   Some interior weddings scenes were moved outdoors, everyone had morning temperature checks, and about 50% of the background performers are actually mannequins but Campbell said "they'll be hard to spot." Related: We interviewed Julie Sherman Wolfe about her movie "Taking a Shot at Love" Who Was in "Wedding Every Weekend?" Kimberley Sustad plays Brooke. We last saw her in “Game of Love.” Paul Campbell plays Nate. We last saw him in “The Cases of Mystery Lane” - we'll link our review in show notes. Also no upcoming projects on IMDB or Instagram… hoping we get another Mystery Lane movie early next year but would love to see a summer, fall or holiday movie. Related: Listen to our review of "The Cases of Mystery Lane" Brandi Alexander plays bestie Ginny. Brandi hasn't been in a Hallmark movies since 2021's "Right in Front of Me" which was also written by Julie Sherman Wolfe. Peter Benson plays Brooke's ex-boyfriend Colin. He's in a lot of stuff on Hallmark but most notably he directed “The Wedding Veil Expectations” from earlier this year. Written by Julie Sherman Wolfe. She writes a ton for Hallmark Channel including "Hanukkah on Rye" and "A Holiday Spectacular" from 2022's Countdown to Christmas. Upcoming according to IMDB a movie called “Field Day.” Directed by Kevin Fair who has directed 40 movies including “Morning Show Mysteries,” “We Need a Little Christmas,” and “Always Amore.”

The conversation around name, image and likeness (NIL) has been going on throughout the 21st Century. The NCAA reached a point in 2021 where student athletes across the country became allowed to monetize off NIL and since then it's taken over the division-1 college sports landscape. Today, top talent such as University of Alabama quarterback and reigning Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young is making millions of dollars thanks to endorsement deals, but it is a lot to be able to manage while also being a student athlete.   UCLA redshirt-junior quarterback Chase Griffin is a student athlete executive in residence with UniWorld Group. Chase has credited UWG with helping set him up for his future as he is learning more about the media agency business and preparing for a career post-football.   Chase sat down with Justin Paura on the View From The Grandstand podcast to discuss how and why he decided to team up with UWG and explain what NIL has done for him and will do for other student athletes like him. Be sure to watch or listen to View From The Grandstand on MediaVillage.com or wherever you get your podcasts. Juan Ayala is an actor, journalist and podcaster from Connecticut, now living in New York City, actively pursuing his acting career for the last five years. Throughout his life, he has overcome several major obstacles, including dealing with depression and anxiety, a very difficult coming out journey as a queer man in his twenties, weighing over 225 lbs when he was in college, and having ideation of suicide when he was just thirteen years old. He has thankfully persevered and successfully navigated these obstacles and hopes to share his journey and story with as many people as he can. As an actor, he has worked in multiple network television series, including NBC's Blindspot and ABC's For Life, as well as dozens of theatrical productions across his home state of Connecticut. When not on set or on stage, he works as a journalist and podcast producer for a number of outlets, including MediaVillage and Latin Media Group. His longest-running podcast “Actors With Issues” is soon to hit 100 episodes and features mini career deep-dives and enlightening discussions with his guests who work across film, television and Broadway. He resides in Brooklyn, NY with his partner Erick.                   3 top tips for my audience: 1. Find your village. Every actor needs a support system, not just to get you through the tough times, but to also celebrate the wins, tiny or huge, that come your way. 2. Find a passion beyond your career. It's not healthy for anyone to only ever focus on their job and career and not have any other prospects.  3. No one is better at being you than you. Sometimes we can't help but compare ourselves to the people around us who may be doing better than we are,  Social media and contact info. How can viewers contact you after the interview? In honor of Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we are joined by actors from across film and television for a special roundtable discussion: Desmond Chiam, Marvel's Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Prime Video's With Love; Max Huang, Warner Bros. Mortal Kombat; Sierra Katow, HBO Max's The Sex Lives of College Girls; and Mike Cabellon, NBC's Mr. Mayor.   The four shared their thoughts on the current state of AAPI representation in entertainment, what they hope to see more of throughout Hollywood in the near future, and the impact that some of their own roles have had on their community.   Moderating the discussion was MediaVillage's Juan Ayala, who opened with “Looking at the history of entertainment, is now the best time to be an Asian American actor?”   “So far!” Mike Cabellon quickly said with a laugh. “There's no part in history where I'm like ‘I'd rather have been alive then', but I also hope that we're doing enough work that it'll be better for the next generation.” Desmond Chiam added, “We're on an incline. As each second passes that becomes the new best time to be an Asian American actor.”   Max Huang chimed in, “I feel very privileged to be living in this day and age. With this whole, let's call it the ‘Asian Wave', I feel that I jumped right on and feel very lucky and happy to be here.”    “I think hearing from actors who've been working for a long time or started a while ago, those stories compared to what we get to do?, it's like 'oh wow, thank you!'” Sierra Katow added. “I like to think that our achievements are our own but they did a lot of work and we get to benefit from it.”    “We're definitely standing on the shoulders of giants.” Chiam said.

So, let's clear one thing up…I had decided on Media Metaverse as the title of my podcast on MediaVillage long before a certain social media CEO decided to co-opt the word and rebrand his entire company. I'm sticking with it because I truly am a believer that the next phase of business and enterprise transformation will be about the further embracing, immersive visualization, and maturation of how we use digital; with hopefully a dash more respect to the consumers whose minds and wallets we are trying to tap.   Fair warning, if I am sometimes come off as a contrarian, I fall on no swords. Show me numbers that prove me wrong, and I'll be the first to admit it. However, given that the game is currently mostly rigged to give preference to only the largest in the almighty name of efficiency, it's time to shine a spotlight on those players who don't normally get seen or those who have yet to be discovered in the vast expanse of fragmented, but valuable, nascent, and innovative media channels that we call the Media Metaverse.    And it made all the sense in the world to me to start my first official episode with my nemesis of over a decade. As Omnicom Media Group's resident futurist and Emerging Media champion, I would always find myself tuned in to the words of my prime competition in the marketplace at Publicis, Rishad Tobaccowala.  At one point there was a possibility of a merger between the two organizations, and (don't tell anyone) I was actually looking forward to being able to work together with Mr. Tobaccowala. While that didn't end up happening, I think of this launch episode as my personal “Marvel's What If?” on what a collaboration between the two of us would have sounded and felt like. If this is any indication, that area of the multiverse where we did collaborate frequently, must be awesome. (Oh, and I am Iron Man.) Enjoy.

Publishers are getting their backsides handed to them by agency groups because the agencies have moved almost entirely away from relationship-based decision making.
