We are delighted to welcome Dr Fred Moss to Mark MI Words. Dr. Fred Moss, a distinguished graduate of Northwestern University Medical School, stands as a stalwart figure in the field of psychiatry, boasting a career that spans nearly four decades. His journey, marked by an unwavering commitment to redefine the landscape of mental health, has led him to become a trailblazer in advocating for a more human-centered approach to healing. Initially drawn to psychiatry by the allure of exploring communication and human connections as primary tools for healing, Dr. Fred witnessed a paradigm shift in the 80s. A transformation within the medical community saw a shift towards diagnosing patients with biological and chemical imbalances, relying heavily on medications as the primary solution for life's distress. However, Dr. Fred, observing the potential harm caused by this approach, embarked on a groundbreaking mission to reclaim lives from the clutches of psychiatric diagnoses and medication. In 2006, Dr. Fred pioneered a new methodology, working closely with a select group of patients who sought an alternative path to healing. Remarkably, these individuals not only improved but, in some cases, saw their diagnoses completely vanish. This success ignited a series of questions surrounding the very definitions of mental illness and mental health, laying the foundation for Dr. Fred's evolving methodology. Dedicating his efforts to the Welcome To Humanity brand, Dr. Fred serves as a beacon of hope as a "non-diagnosing psychiatrist". His expertise extends to serving as an expert witness in psychiatric malpractice cases, shedding light on the often overlooked atrocities within nursing homes, hospitals, prisons, and jails. "What's the spiritual room? For me, it does tend to be a connection to something greater than just me; it is a contemplative space; it is getting to the core of who I am, allowing in some ways for the best of me to come to the fore; to have space for grace. I am humbled by what people bring to tell me. I take what I'm doing in the office very seriously because it is really like sacred work in terms of people being able to work, love, and play. I mean that is for them to find their real callings rather than the false selves that they may experience; it's a similar call for finding one's true self, and that is really important work."    Episode Description: We begin by considering the presence of religion as part of the cultural heritage which patients bring to the clinical encounter.  Ginta shares with us her upbringing in the Lithuanian Catholic church and its presence in her life, in her journey to medical school and to her psychiatric and analytic training. She speaks of the relationship between her sense of spirituality and God, the importance of Jesus' human/divine amalgam, and how prayer provides her access to her interiority.  We consider the similarities and differences between speaking freely to God and speaking freely to one's analyst. We discuss the narthex, the church antechamber, and its association with the analytic waiting room and how the structure of the Mass has similarities with the structure of the analytic session. We also consider her reflections on abortion - including a quote from Freud on the topic. Ginta closes by sharing with us her sense of the sacredness of our work.     Our Guest: Ginta Remeikis, MD, is a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst practicing in Rockville, MD. Having graduated from Northwestern University Medical School, she completed her psychiatric residency at Georgetown and Chestnut Lodge Hospital, where she then served on the medical staff and psychoanalytic training at the Washington Psychoanalytic Institute. Most recently, she has presented at meetings of the APCS (Association for the Psychoanalysis of Culture and Society) and AABS (Association for the Advancement of Baltic Studies) on intergenerational transmission of trauma; diaspora experiences; the psychic role of language, especially bilingualism; the use of literature for processing trauma; and psychodynamics around disability. In 2003 she organized the New Directions weekend conference, “The Future of Religion in the Psychoanalytic World: Revisiting the Mind/Soul Dilemma” and for several years presented on issues of psychiatry and religion to Georgetown's psychiatry residents. Besides enjoying reading, she has published poetry in Lithuanian in several collections and journals.   Recommended Readings:   Corcoran, Paul, “Seamus Heaney lost his Catholic faith.  But his poetry still sought transcendence.” in America; The Jesuit Review, Sept. 15, 2023.   Epstein, Mark, Thoughts Without a Thinker: Psychotherapy from a Buddhist Perspective, Basic Books, 1995.   Greeley, Andrew M., The Catholic Myth: The Behavior and Beliefs of American Catholics, Charles Scribner's Sons, NY, 1990.   Merton, Thomas, New Seeds of Contemplation, New Directions, NY, 1961.   Rizzuto, Ana-Maria, Why did Freud Reject God?: A Psychodynamic Interpretation, Yale University Press, New Haven, 1998.   Smith, Joseph H. and Susan A Handelman, editors, Psychoanalysis and Religion, Psychiatry and the Humanities, vol. 11, The Johns Hopkins University Press, Baltimore, 1990.   Trinkūnas, Jonas, editor, Of Gods & Holidays; The Baltic Heritage, Tvermė, 1999.

Today's special guest, Dr. Fred Moss, is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School and a licensed psychiatrist who has served the mental health industry for nearly four decades. During that time he has consulted patients, practitioners, medical facilities, non-profit organizations, and community groups. While his initial interest in psychiatry was to expand on communication and human connections as primary healing tools, a shift in the medical paradigm in the 80's led to physicians diagnosing patients with biological and chemical imbalances, and prescribing medications as a primary way of dealing with life's distress. The medications, which on occasion seemed to briefly quell the stated concerns, appeared to be exacerbating—even causing—the symptoms they were prescribed to treat. In 2006, Dr. Fred began taking a new approach with his patients, working with a chosen few to assist in reclaiming their lives from the clenched fists of psychiatric diagnoses and medication. Lo and behold, they reliably eventually improved, even to the point of their diagnoses actually disappearing. As more patients reported success stories, a whole new set of questions about the actual definitions of mental illness and mental health and the conversations that are created around those definitions, began to emerge. It is around these basic inquiries and principles that Dr. Fred began to shape his methodology and his work with clients, which continues to evolve to this day. Dr. Fred has since dedicated his efforts to establishing his brand, Welcome To Humanity, as a "home base" for his work as a speaker, coach, and advisor as a "non-diagnosing psychiatrist." Dr. Fred is the host of the inspiring Welcome To Humanity podcast, a show that explores what it means to be human and how to live an extraordinary life.He is the author of Creative 8: Healing Through Creativity & Self-Expression.

Dr. Fred Moss, MD is the foremost expert on delivering your True Voice into the world so that it can heal. Your voice matters. Your voice can heal. More About Dr. Fred Dr. Fred Moss arrived on Earth on March 1, 1958, and from that very second has been earmarked to be a healer. The family he was born into was in chaos and, in many ways, was counting on his arrival to bring health and wellness back into balance. Little Freddy had his hands full, and over the next six decades, he has made it his business to bring healing to the world around him, not only to his family and friends but to the community and world at large. What a journey it has been. Dr. Fred has had a host of life experiences, including, among other things, being a 2-time college dropout and a Northwestern University Medical School graduate (1988). Over the last four decades, Dr. Fred has been firmly entrenched in the mental health system, first as a child care worker and then as an internationally well-known psychiatrist. In addition, Dr. Fred has had leadership roles in multiple modalities, including inpatient and outpatient, homeless shelters, nursing homes, orphanages, halfway houses, drug rehabilitation centers, home visits, prisons and jails, and telepsychiatry in many regions of the USA. Dr. Fred has been committed to the notion that communication, connection, creativity, and conversation are at the heart of all healing of all conditions of all types. Without this, people simply do not heal. With it, miracles regularly occur. Voices heal. Listening heals. We humans are best when we are connected to others, and Dr. Fred's life mission has now become to assure that all people know that who they are and what they do matters and that their voice, no matter where they are from, or where they are going, can be heard. As the founder of the Welcome to Humanity movement, and the True Voice Podcasting Mastermind and methodology, Dr. Fred now finds himself making the difference he came here to make. His years in the community, where he has been a physician to over 40,000 patients, and his storied and adventurous life traveling around the world, has now left him uniquely qualified to remind us all of what we already know. Communication is where love arises from, and speaking truth and listening authentically are the source of that love. Dr. Fred is married to his dream partner, Alexandra, and lives in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas in Northern California. He is the proud father of two beautiful children in Texas and is owned collectively by his three cats, Valentino, Despacito, and Winston. Dr. Fred Moss is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School and a licensed psychiatrist who has served the mental health industry for nearly four decades. During that time he has consulted patients, practitioners, medical facilities, non-profit organisations, and community groups. In the podcast we spoke about a number of deep and insightful topics including:- - Questioning 'normal' views on mental health and the world in general - Connecting to the heart of healing - The value of beliefs and opinions - Is it possible to unite humanity? - Modern day psychiatry and it's problems   Dr Fred Moss's Websites https://welcometohumanity.net/ drfred@welcometohumanity.net https://welcometohumanity.net/podcast   WEBSITE ➣ https://www.alexhickman.co.uk CONNECT ➣ Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/alex_hickman/ ➣ Twitter | https://twitter.com/aIexhickman

Please help me in welcoming Dr. Fred Moss to The Alden Report this week. Dr. Fred is a graduate of Northwestern University Medical School and a licensed psychiatrist who has served the mental health industry for nearly four decades. During that time he has consulted patients, practitioners, medical facilities, non-profit organizations, and community groups. As a non-diagnosing psychiatrist, he is committed to shifting the conversation of mental illness on a global scale. Dr. Fred has since dedicated his efforts to establishing his brand, Welcome To Humanity, as a "home base" for his work as a speaker, coach, and advisor as a "non-diagnosing psychiatrist." He also is an expert witness, specializing in psychiatric malpractice cases, and often centering around atrocities that can occur behind closed (locked) doors in nursing homes, hospitals, prisons and jails.Dr. Fred is the host of theinspiring Welcome To Humanity podcast, a show that explores what it means to be human andhow to live an extraordinary life. He is also the author of Creative 8: Healing Through Creativity & Self-Expression.Thank you so much to Dr. Fred Moss for joining us this week on The Alden Report. For more information on Dr. Fred Moss, you can visit: https://welcometohumanity.net/  and https://www.truevoicepodcasting.com/ Thank you to this episode's sponsor: We The People SummitThis Summit features 18+ of the world's most influential leaders, speaking about how they got where they are today, and the importance of bringing our True Selves forward collectively in order to effect positive change. Critical Suicide Theory and Research -- From the Gender Paradox to Cultural Scripts of Suicidal Behaviors: Interview with Professor Silvia S

In this episode, I interview Professor Silvia Sara Canetto, the leading scholar on critical studies of gender, culture and suicidal behaviors from intersectional and global perspectives. Professor Canetto is most well-known for her research on the gender paradox of suicide, a term she coined, with Isaac Sakinofsky, to refer to the fact that girls and women are more likely to report suicidal thoughts and to engage in suicidal behavior, and yet they are less likely to die of suicide than boys and men. Professor Canetto is also the author of the theory of cultural scripts of gender and suicidal behavior--a theory that builds on the insights she gained from researching the gender paradox of suicide. In this interview Professor Canetto discusses what U.S. suicidology was like when she entered the field as an international student at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. She reviews her contributions to the field—from challenging its stigmatizing and gender-biased language (e.g., terms like “successful suicide” to refer to what in the United States is a more common male-outcome of suicidal behavior) to challenging dominant gender-biased theories of suicidal behaviors (e.g., that women's suicidal behavior is an emotional and impulsive reaction to trivial relationship problems, and that men's suicidal behavior is a desperate but deliberate response to serious social and economic adversities). Professor Canetto then describes her theory and research on suicide scripts. A key point of her theory is that there are different situations, by culture, when suicidal behavior is relatively permissible and even expected, from certain people, using certain methods, and with specific social consequences. Another important point of her theory is that the different cultural scripts contribute to the cultural variability in suicidality rates. This is because suicidal individuals are influenced by these scripts in choosing their course of action and in giving their suicidal act public meaning. At the end of the interview Professor Canetto reviews examples of research supporting her theory. She also addresses the implications of the theory and evidence on cultural scripts of suicidal behavior--including that there are no universal risk and protective factors, and that therefore prevention should be grounded on local scripts of suicidal behavior. About Prof. Silvia Sara CanettoProfessor Silvia Sara CanettoSilvia Sara Canetto, Ph.D., is Professor of Psychology at Colorado State University, USA. She has graduate degrees from Italy, Israel, and the USA. She speaks, with an accent, every language she knows, English, French, Spanish, Hebrew, and her native Italian. Her scholarship on cultural scripts of suicide has been recognized with the American Association of Suicidology's (AAS) Shneidman early-career award, and AAS highest-honor, the Dublin award. Her article “The gender paradox in suicide” is the third most-cited in Suicide and Life-Threatening Behavior. She is “Fellow” of the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, and the Gerontological Society of America. Sarah joins Dr. Dave Janda to discuss the fraudulent election coup that we are experiencing. We discuss the blatant fraud, lies, and incredible widespread media blackout and censoring of anyone not supporting their narrative. I discuss how we are living thru a typical 3rd world election coup crafted by the corrupt globalist oligarchs. The only serious way to fight this is by focused attention to credible and provable voter fraud that can be demonstrated in federal court. Fortunately in this case, there is an avalanche of credible data and proof of fraud piling up.  As a back drop, the world should not be surprised that an election coup is occurring. The deep state has attempted, but failed, in their multiple attempts to overthrow President Trump including RussiaGate and Impeachment. Be sure to listen to this show and learn many facts blacked out by the mass media. C60Complete Black Seed Oil & Curcumin Gel Capsules - Build up Your Immunities & Protect Yourself!
