Medieval Christian extended conquest of Muslim areas in the Iberian Peninsula

FAN MAIL--We would love YOUR feedback--Send us a Text Messagethis is a video and audio podcast. the video is here https://youtu.be/VWaZzR9zlJ8A mass invasion doesn't have to look like soldiers crossing a line. Sometimes it looks like paperwork, policy, and perfectly legal pathways that can be scaled by governments who think in decades, not news cycles. We pick up Peter Schweizer's The Invisible Coup and read three passages that frame the border crisis and immigration system as a set of tools foreign powers can use against the United States, then we ask the uncomfortable follow-up: why don't more people talk about this openly? We walk through three case studies with very different methods and the same strategic intent. First, Cuba's Mariel boatlift and the claim that “open arms” can be turned into a weapon of mass migration. Next, Mexico and the long-game influence strategy Schweizer calls “Reconquista,” where demographic change and political organizing become instruments of leverage. Then we get to China, birth tourism, and the “natal iceberg” problem, including how visa policy and birthright citizenship can create generational consequences for national security, security clearances, and critical industries. From there, we zoom out to the incentives at home: cheap labor, electoral math, wage pressure, and how aligned interests can produce outcomes that look like a slow-motion transfer of power. Whether you agree with Schweizer or not, you'll leave with sharper questions about immigration policy, border security, and what “sovereignty” means when the rules are easy to exploit. Subscribe, share this with a friend who argues about the border, and leave a review with your answer: is the border crisis a failure, or a weapon?Key Points from the Episode:• Peter Schweizer's core thesis that the US is being dismantled through legal mechanisms • The Mariel boatlift as an early example of weaponized mass migration • The idea that strategy matters more than chaos in border outcomes • Mexico's alleged long-range “Reconquista” plan framed as human rights messaging • China's birth tourism and how visa guidance can expand birthright citizenship routes • A “natal iceberg” warning and why investigators say it keeps growing • The claim that domestic elites benefit from open-door incentives • The definition of an “invisible coup” as slow structural reshaping • Questions about whether the border crisis is failure or weapon Other resources: Want to leave a review?
This week we wrap up Cam's series about the legendary Reconquista-era knight Rodrigo Diaz de Vivar, better known as El Cid. Where the previous episodes focused on a narrative of his life and times, this final installment will discuss the shifting stories which sprang up after his death, culminating in his revival as a cultural hero during the fascist Franco regime. Pedro Sanchez, the prime minister of Spain, has announced that the country will legalize 500,000 migrants, creating a massive political and demographic shake-up inside the country. Spain fought the Reconquista for hundreds of years to recapture its lands from North African Muslims. In the 20th century, the country fought a civil war and was ruled by Francisco Franco for decades to ward off communism. Despite all these efforts, Spain is ultimately racing toward the progressive open-borders suicide that so many other Western nations have pursued. So the question everyone is left asking is: If liberalism ultimately makes nations fragile, how did it come to dominate the most powerful countries in the Western world?

In the week since The Invisible Coup: How American Elites and Foreign Powers Use Immigration as a Weapon. debuted atop the bestseller lists, Mexico's president and ambassador to the US have tried to dismiss the book's findings about Mexican consulates interfering in US domestic politics, waving off multiple quotes from numerous Mexican politicians and consular officials themselves. In a statement released by her office, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum said, “I categorically deny any involvement or attempt by Mexico to interfere in the internal affairs of the United States.” Schweizer has already been asked to testify at a Senate hearing in March on several of The Invisible Coup's most eye-popping revelations. On the most recent episode of The Drill Down, Schweizer responds to the Mexican government's denials.
You're listening to Right On Radio. Live right in the real world. And welcome to Right On Radio, everybody. My name is Jeff. In this free-flowing episode Jeff and co-host John open with the Word on Word segment and preview three core topics: the latest fallout from the Epstein document releases, new mainstream reporting about immigration and political infrastructure, and a short Donald J. Trump clip that sparks a broader discussion about a possible “dark‑to‑light” narrative. The show begins with a reflective Word on Word moment and a short music segment — Jeff reads controversial song lyrics (the well‑known Bruce Springsteen track) to illustrate how words shape culture and can reveal deeper social problems. That musical interlude leads into commentary about how popular songs and celebrity behavior intersect with political and moral debates today. Jeff and John dig into the Epstein material, weighing credible revelations against endless rabbit holes. They address claims circulating online — from 4chan connections to theories about Epstein's death — while urging caution about unverified assertions. The episode includes short clips (including a cut of Senator Ted Cruz and commentary on the late Robert David Steele) and a frank exchange about how these revelations feed broader narratives about bloodlines, elite networks, and conspiratorial interpretations of global events. Next, the hosts examine immigration reporting highlighted by a Fox News segment with investigator Peter Schweizer. They discuss the Reconquista narrative, Mexican political infrastructure in the U.S., the role of consulates, and claims about organized political influence tied to migration. Jeff and John also discuss public worries and rumors — from deportation camps and migrant use in security roles to concerns about sovereignty — and the recent removal of Ed Martin from a DOJ working group, considering the political timing and ramifications. The episode closes with a 33‑second clip from Donald Trump and a wide‑ranging conversation about the possibility of a false “great awakening,” Q‑related narratives, the emergence of a one‑world religious or political order, and cultural shifts involving high‑profile celebrities (Nicki Minaj is discussed) and Christian conservatives. Jeff teases an upcoming Friday show and reminds listeners of the prayer meeting at 7:30 p.m.; co‑host John contributes historical context and personal reflections throughout. Guests and contributors heard or referenced: co‑host John, researcher S90 (mentioned as a future collaborator), audio clips featuring Senator Ted Cruz, Robert David Steele, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, investigator Peter Schweizer (Fox News), and an archival Donald J. Trump clip. Key takeaways: a skeptical but urgent look at the Epstein documents, close attention to shifting immigration narratives and political influence, concern about cultural decay and media messaging, and an ongoing call for discernment as new information continues to surface.
In Episode 236, Dave starts the show discussing the events that transpired in Davos and the U.S. removing itself from the WHO. From there, he notes the drop in the country's murder rate and progress in the call for an Article V Convention of States. It wouldn't be a true Lightning Round episode if Dave didn't discuss and call into question the sanity of liberal white women and they did not disappoint this week. Wow! L&D nurse wished a grade 4 tear for Karoline Leavitt and the Arizona AG gave lefties a blueprint for shooting at law enforcement. Unbelievable! After that Dave turns his attention to the corruption in Mexico and their wanton disregard for American sovereignty by encouraging illegal immigrants to engage in destabilization activities for a reconquista. Dave closes the show by discussing the recently filed $5B lawsuit by Trump against JP Morgan and Jaime Dimon. Before Anne Bonny. Before Grace O'Malley. There was Sayyida al-Hurra — the Pirate Queen of the Mediterranean. In this episode of For the Love of History, we uncover the extraordinary true story of Sayyida al-Hurra, a Muslim woman who rose to power in the late 1400s and became one of the most feared pirates in history. Born in Granada during the violence of the Reconquista, Sayyida was forced to flee Spain as Catholic rulers Ferdinand and Isabella expelled, enslaved, and murdered thousands of Muslims. That injustice would shape her destiny. After becoming governor of Tetouan (Tétouan), Morocco, Sayyida didn't just rule — she fought back. Partnering with the legendary Ottoman pirate Hayreddin Barbarossa (Redbeard), she launched relentless naval attacks against Spanish and Portuguese ships, dominating the Mediterranean and earning her title as the unrivaled pirate queen. Her piracy wasn't just about wealth; it was about defense, revenge, and protecting displaced Muslim communities. This episode explores: The Reconquista and the forced expulsion of Muslims from Spain How Sayyida al-Hurra became a female political leader and naval commander Her alliance with Barbarossa, one of history's most famous pirates Pirate warfare, ransom, and Mediterranean power politics How piracy rebuilt Tetouan into a thriving city Why European powers feared her — and her people adored her Her unprecedented marriage to the Sultan of Morocco on her own terms Sayyida al-Hurra's legacy lives on in the walls of Tetouan, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and in the history of women who refused to be erased. If you love pirate history, women in power, Islamic history, and stories of resistance against empire, this episode is for you. Grab your sword, your most dramatic blouse, and let's set sail. FAN MAIL--We would love YOUR feedback--Send us a Text MessageDebates over “Christian nationalism” are loud, confusing, and often heated. We cut through the noise by defining the term, tracing its historical footprints, and then asking a better question: what kind of political love do Christians owe their country? From Constantine's Roman empire to Spain after the Reconquista to the paradoxes of American civic religion, we map how faith has shaped law, identity, and public symbols—and where that fusion has harmed religious liberty and the common good.We then turn to the modern surge of interest, from the Moral Majority to Stephen Wolfe's call for a Christian nation state, and weigh it against Taylor Marshall's counterpoint: nationalism is the wrong frame. Patriotism, grounded in the virtue of piety, is the older, wiser path. Drawing on Aquinas, we explore the ordo amoris—God, parents, family, neighbor, fatherland—as a safeguard against idolatry of nation and against indifference to civic life. Your homeland deserves love and service, not worship; your neighbor deserves charity, not coercion. What does that look like in practice? We outline a posture that favors persuasion over compulsion, subsidiarity over sweeping control, and laws that protect life, family, and human dignity while guarding conscience and pluralism. Public symbols can unify when tied to shared goods, but they cannot replace the slow work of formation in homes and churches. If you've felt torn between withdrawal and culture war, this conversation offers a third way: confident, ordered love of country that remains accountable to God and oriented to the common good.Key Points from the Episode:• definition of Christian nationalism and its claims• case studies in Rome, Spain, and the United States• symbols, laws, and the limits of state power• Moral Majority to Stephen Wolfe: modern currents• Taylor Marshall's critique of nationalism's roots• patriotism as a virtue in Aquinas's piety• the ordo amoris guiding civic love• practical guardrails for public faithOther resources: Want to leave a review? Black History Month Special (Part 2) AI - The Truth Exposed! The Black Spy Podcast 216, Season 22, Episode 0007 This week, host Carlton King continues his headfirst dive into the meaning of Black History Month — asking seemingly none provocative questions of Chat GPT such as Why do you and other LLM continue to use terms such as the Middle East” and why does this matter? Carlton argues that while race is a biological nonsense, it remains a powerful political reality shaping lives, identity, and history itself. To illustrate this, Carlton explores the true financial and political objectives and consequences of the British Empire, including how Britain came to rule world finances. Carlton also uncovers how AI is finally challenging a racist, euro-centric manipulation of history with true and evidenced fact, yet strangely Carlton notes that these answers are not provided questionaries in the first instance and he wants to establish why?. Carlton examines who decides who's “Black” and who's “White,” and how these definitions have been weaponised throughout history to dumb down Africa and it's diaspora's real historical legacy. Once again we hope you enjoy this week's episode and learn from it. So, please don't forget to subscribe to the Black Spy Podcast for free, so you never miss another fascinating episode.

The life of El Cid, the famed 11th-century Castilian warrior otherwise known as Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar, is steeped in legend. Historian Nora Berend joins Danny Bird to examine his real-life exploits during the centuries-long series of campaigns by Christian kingdoms to reclaim the Iberian Peninsula from Muslim rule, known as the Reconquista. She unpacks his complex loyalties to both Christian and Muslim rulers, and explores how his story has been continually reshaped to serve politics, culture and Spanish national identity.
At the end of the 15th century, Spain had almost completed the Reconquista and the removal of the Caliphate in the Iberian Peninsula, ending centuries of Islamic rule. One of the first things they did was usher in an attempt to unify and purify the country as a Catholic one, rather than a multi-religious one. After receiving permission from the Pope, the Spanish monarchy persecuted hundreds of thousands of people for the crime of not being Catholic.
