Today, we're discussing the recent passing of Pope Francis. As a Protestant, I don't hold to Catholic doctrine, and I've had some serious theological issues with the papacy—but that doesn't mean I won't stop to reflect when someone steps into eternity. In this episode, I'm praying for Pope Francis' soul and hoping he had a deathbed conversion—because no one is beyond God's reach. I also hope Catholics choose a biblical pope next time, not one more interested in pleasing the world than honoring the Word. We'll talk about the things he did right—his care for the poor and moments of humility. But we'll also look at the dangerous things he got wrong:Promoting open borders that have devastated countries and erased traditionSaying all religions worship the same God (they don't)Claiming the human heart is good (the Bible says it's deceitful above all things)Ignoring original sin and the fallen nature of manThis is a respectful but honest take on a figure who meant a lot to many—but who, like all of us, needed Christ above all.--https://noblegoldinvestments.com/

What does it mean to embrace femininity as God designed it? In this episode of the Raising Godly Girls Podcast, co-hosts Rachael and Natalie explore the beauty of Biblical femininity—a concept often misunderstood or overshadowed by cultural narratives. Together, they discuss how God's perfect design for gender reflects His character and plan for humanity, highlighting that valuing femininity doesn't diminish the significance of masculinity but beautifully complements it. Rachael and Natalie share personal stories and insights from their own families, shedding light on how preferences or hobbies—whether pink cupcakes or scraped knees—don't define a girl's identity. Instead, Biblical femininity is a core essence, rooted in nurturing, relational, and God-honoring qualities given to every girl. Through this lens, they tackle today's cultural confusion surrounding gender and encourage parents to have meaningful, truth-filled conversations with their daughters. American Heritage Girls Founder & Executive Director Patti Garibay adds depth to the discussion with her powerful Raising Godly Girls Minute, reminding us that femininity is not about external traits but about stewarding God's gifts with grace and purpose. Listeners will leave equipped with practical advice, rooted in Scriptures like Genesis 1:27 and James 1:17, to affirm God's unchanging design for their daughters. Paul Tittl Today's podcast featured Wisconsin State Representative Paul Tittl, discussing faith, government, and misconceptions about politics. Host Dave Wager and Paul began with Romans 13:1-2, emphasizing that governing authorities are established by God. Paul shared how his faith guides his work and how his Capitol Bible study attracts legislators from all parties. Dave Wager admitted his perception of government changed after visiting Madison, realizing that despite political divisions, many in government are genuine, respectful people. Paul Tittl is an American businessman and politician. From Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Tittl owns Vacuum & Sew Center and Paintball Paul's. Tittl also served on the Manitowoc County Board of Supervisor and Manitowoc Common Council. In November 2012, Tittl was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly as a Republican. The discussion then explored the role of government versus the church in addressing societal needs like mental health and poverty. Paul noted that government has taken over responsibilities once handled by the church, leading to less faith-based outreach. They also touched on political power struggles, the unintended consequences of government programs, and how leadership should serve the people rather than personal agendas. The episode encouraged listeners to be informed, prayerful, and engaged with their representatives, challenging them to rethink how they view and support government. In a world full of confusion, competing ideologies, and cultural noise, believers are called to see clearly through a biblical lens. This sermon, based on 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, challenges us to take action by: Evaluating our worldview—aligning our thoughts with Scripture, not society. Challenging falsehood—discerning and confronting ideas that contradict God's truth. Taking every thought captive—intentionally filtering everything through God's Word. Engaging culture with boldness and wisdom—not retreating in fear, but speaking truth with love. Rather than passively absorbing what the world throws at us, we are called to actively shape our minds, conversations, and actions through a biblical perspective. Walk away with practical steps to think, live, and respond as a follower of Christ in today's world.

Dalrymple begins by acknowledging the post-lunch time slot and sets a welcoming tone. He explores the difficulties of defining and diagnosing progressivism, using two metaphors from Paul's letters to Timothy: health and homebuilding. Dalrymple stresses the need for clear theological definitions, comparing progressive Christianity to medical diagnostics and home reconstruction. He opens with prayer, focusing on spiritual resilience in a changing society. Drawing from his experience teaching 1 Timothy and 2 Timothy at Ozark Christian College, Dalrymple uses a visual metaphor—like a detective's crime board—to highlight the traits of false teachers and link them to today's progressive Christianity. He examines 1 Timothy 1:3-7, contrasting speculation with stewardship, and warns against modern movements like the health and wealth gospel and the comfort gospel, which mirror historical challenges faced by the church. Dalrymple then shifts to the metaphor of homebuilding, cautioning against deconstructing faith without rebuilding on biblical foundations. He critiques the tendency to replace core doctrines with speculative or culturally convenient ideas. He addresses the delicate balance between gentleness and confrontation when responding to false teachings, and observes how progressive Christianity often seeks recognition, power, and controversy, drawing examples from past and present trends. Next, Dalrymple discusses the broader cultural influences—humanism, skepticism, Darwinism, naturalism, and postmodernism—that have shaped progressive theology, arguing that these secular philosophies have diluted Christian teachings. He identifies key traits of progressive Christianity: elevating culture as the ultimate authority, following subjective feelings, prioritizing tolerance above all else, and viewing activism as worship. He critiques the lack of clear doctrinal boundaries in the movement. Dalrymple examines the motivations behind progressive beliefs, including cultural pressures, personal hurts, and the desire for platforms or pleasure, and warns against the deliberate or unintentional distortion of traditional theology. He closes with practical advice, urging church leaders to focus on intentional discipleship and proper church discipline to safeguard doctrinal purity and restore those led astray by false teachings. In summary, this workshop calls for vigilance in addressing the subtle dangers of progressive Christianity, combining scriptural analysis with practical steps for protecting and nurturing healthy church communities. The Analytical Preacher - Bible Discussions For The Modern World
The Bible provides us with a comprehensive worldview that allows us to frame even modern topics such as Artificial Intelligence. So, how should we view AI through a biblical lens? Should Bible-based Christians support or stand opposed to such technological advancements? How does scripture direct us concerning any threats that AI might pose to humanity? Many will be surprised that looking at technological change such as that introduced by AI through a biblical lens calls for far more support than opposition. As always, it is the human misuse of such tools that is the major concern not the development of the tools themselves.

In the ebb and flow of life, each of us faces moments of profound despair and darkness. In our Man to Man Podcast Scripture Healing Words for Depression, we discuss how the shadow of depression can loom large, making us feel isolated and without hope. In this insightful episode, Herbie Newell and Dr. Rick Morton explore the significance of Valentine's Day through the lens of Christian values, emphasizing the importance of fighting for the sanctity of marriage and life. As advocates for God's word, they discuss how embracing love in the Biblically prescribed manner contributes to the strength of marriages and, subsequently, forms a foundation for providing strong, stable homes for children. The conversation extends to the profound impact of these principles on caring for vulnerable children, stressing the role of a godly marriage in demonstrating love and stability. Listeners are encouraged to reflect on the broader implications of their relationships, recognizing the responsibility to create a nurturing environment based on God's word, ultimately contributing to a better, more stable world for children and those committed to caring for them.HOSTHerbie Newell is the President & Executive Director of Lifeline Children's Services and its ministry arms.CO-HOSTRick Morton is the Vice President of Engagement at Lifeline Children's Services.RESOURCESObedience to God's call to care for those who are vulnerable means that our churches will have members who are walking the paths of foster care or adoption.
