Sometimes we all need to protect our energy! We know that we are perhaps entering a potentially hostile or energy draining situation and so this quick protection meditation will give you the sense of safety that you might need. Even if you do not feel as if you need it this is a great technique to have to hand. Use it frequently, so that you are familiar with it and can utilise it when you feel that your energy is potentially being compromised. It's Time To Wake Up In this episode, I turned the tables and flipped the script. Spiritual luminary and friend Steve Nobel interviewed me all about the topic of imposter syndrome, self-doubt, and working through that inner critic voice that says, "Who do you think you are?" I share quite vulnerably about my story of struggling with food addiction, people-pleasing, stuffing emotions down with food and denial, and learning how to truly tap into my higher self. This episode is about waking up to your divinity, your inner guidance, building self-trust, and the deep desires that are here to be expressed for a reason. Who Were You At Age 7? The clues to who you really are and what you truly desire can be found in what you imagined, dreamed of, and played with at a younger age. Sit back and ask yourself, what did you love to do when you were seven years old? What did you find fun, exciting, engaging, and energizing? Within the playfulness you experienced as a child lies the bread crumbs that can lead to who you really are. I shared about how I constantly imagined a camera crew around me as I was interviewing guests and talking about whatever I loved at the moment --- chocolate chip cookies, pudding pops, ballet, or drawing and trading Lisa Frank stickers. I could imagine people tuning in and finding joy from these conversations and interviews. Today I have a show where I interview leaders, experts, and spiritual luminaries who share wisdom and lessons learned. So much of what I'm doing feels aligned with my little girl's dreams. Look to see what you are doing now and if there are aspects of your younger self showing up. If not, see how you can start bringing in this part of you and honoring your deeper desires, joy, and calling. Who Do You Think You Are? In Tara Brach's new book, Trusting the Gold: Learning to Nurture Your Inner Light, she reminds us that inherently we are all made of the same goodness and that it's important to learn how to trust this inner light and goodness from within. This is the year to be kinder to yourself and speak to yourself with compassion, grace, and loving-kindness to quiet your inner critic and develop a sense of self-trust. Just as Tara shared about her practice of reminding herself to 'soften the edge', which helped her heal from an illness with ease, you also can speak to yourself in a way that can create calm, tenderness, and support. Maybe you start to call yourself something loving like 'sweetheart', 'darling' or 'beautiful'. Choose something that feels kind and comforting, and remember to see the goodness that always lives within you. The answer to this is not where you think it is. Look deeper, look inward, look into your heart. Your ego, bless your cute ego, is really trying to keep you safe, protected, and free from hurt. Your ego will put on the Imposter Syndrome costume, making you feel that you are unworthy or unable to do what it is you truly desire. My recommendation is not to ever condemn or shame yourself or your ego. Instead, notice when your ego says things like in the imposter syndrome family like "I'm a fraud" or "They're going to find out I'm not as good as they think", or something else that's mean and untrue and creates self-doubt. Observe this ego-fear-based dialogue and remember that this isn't the truth of you. The truth of you is a higher consciousness that is connected to the greater source of joy, love, full self-expression, and wisdom. Take Off The Mask of Imposter Syndrome The best way to take off your imposter syndrome mask is to raise your awareness. To do this, you've got to start adding daily time to be quiet. Any kind of meditation works, although I'm personally a fan of transcendental meditation because it requires no effort and is all about being in stillness, with your mantra, and allows for your brain to get into the healing alpha wave state. But however you find time to be silent and breathe, it will increase your awareness and consciousness. This slowing down and deeper inner connection will help you to notice when your inner critic starts to say things that make you feel like a fraud, doubtful, unworthy or lets self-doubt creep in. Once you can see this from a place of being an observer, you will be able to disconnect from feeling this part of you. You'll learn how to be compassionate to this ego-based part of you that is simply afraid. Just like you wouldn't shame a crying baby, you can learn to be compassionate with this part of you crying for greater awareness and begin to lean into self-trust. Remember, your true essence, your You-est You, is a unique expression of the Divine, of love, of wellbeing, of joy and of expansion. Starseeds, as depicted in the book The Law of One, are wandering souls who are multidimensional and from other planetary systems. Starseeds often have a wake-up call or point in their life where they are suddenly awakened to a greater reality that doesn't fit their current reality. I'll share I've certainly experienced this a few times in my life. They don't like authority, often feel they don't fit in or belong, and have a strong ascension purpose, which is about moving from darkness to greater light on this planet. We are in a time right now of moving into the 5th density, which is a vibrational force and new consciousness here on this planet. Starseeds are all about helping to shift this consciousness and changing the paradigm of growth through suffering to abundance, freedom, and ease. Waking Up The Planet As mentioned earlier, a key sign of a Starseed (often spiritual entrepreneurs) is feeling asleep at the wheel of life and then having a major wake up encounter in their life-be it a career change, divorce, health crisis, or religious confusion. Starseeds also notoriously have a big vision, in service to others, and want to change things. They talk freely about vibration, angels, and manifestation and come by this kind of discussion as though it's their first language. Steve Nobel reminds us Starseeds to embrace our weirdness, as this is your unique gift --- "your weirdness is your brilliance." How To Manifest More Money Steve Nobel & I talked a lot about manifesting money and remembering that money is just energy. Energy can be moved by consciousness. Thus so can money. That is just part of the idea behind his book Spiritual Entrepreneur. Steve shared a powerful affirmation to build your relationship with money: "I am 100% open, deserving, and willing and worthy of accumulating all forms of wealth in my life." He reminded us of the quote by Wayne Dyer that states the one grand lie in life --- that the only limits we have, are the ones we believe. It's time to expand all limits about money and what's possible. The Key Beliefs for Manifesting and Wealth The Universe is abundant The Universe wants me to prosper. All prosperity starts with belief. Money is an abstraction and is not real. Money is energy. Money has no intelligence of its own. Money will respond to the instructions you give it. Money needs to be valued. You must value money and it demands your attention. Money is vibration (and high vibration at that). If you are anxious about money, you are in a lower vibration. A place to look first is how to become more grounded and higher vibration about money. Oftentimes money issues are about a lack of balance of feminine and masculine energy. Final Thoughts Steve Nobel shares that his new book Spiritual Entrepreneur is about unfolding the beliefs regarding how to move the energy of money to manifest it more fully in your life. His core beliefs can easily be used as affirmations in your day-to-day life. This guided meditation and visualization explores how you are best equipped to make a lasting impact on those around you. Have a pen and paper ready to write down the content of the visualization as soon as possible. Like a dream, these visualizations often fade quickly. There are instructions given in the meditation on what aspects to pay attention to. This guided meditation and visualization explores how you are best equipped to make a lasting impact on those around you. From this place of clarity, you are better able to identify your calling and key archetypes in life and then use that info to “begin with the end” and design a career, a lifestyle, and relationships that lead to that goal. The Soul Matrix…We are passing through interesting times. This is a dimension (one of countless many) where personal and spiritual growth happens through an interplay of dark and light forces. ‘Light’ is an evolutionary force that reconnects us to our divinity, higher frequencies of light and our true multidimensional nature. ‘Dark’ is an anti-evolutionary force that seeks to keep us in separation and locked within a lower density. This is how the game of spiritual growth has been played out within this 3D density dimension. This is all about to change in the coming years.We are coming to the end of a period of great spiritual darkness on the earth. In this period between 1987 and 2030 a great shift of consciousness has been initiated. We are moving rapidly towards a 5D paradigm of existence where the old game of dark and light will no longer play out in the same painful way. The challenge for lightworkers is one of spiritual hygiene and clearing out karmic patterns that can be released to the light. Now is a time of ascension, both for the planet itself and many millions of souls on the planet. Not everyone has chosen this path and many will continue their spiritual growth elsewhere.There are many starseeds on the planet who are waking up to their mission here. In this dense dimension it has been very difficult to maintain a high consciousness. This is because the underlying energetic structures of the earth have not supported it. This has been changing over the past decades as a new high frequency grid has been established on the earth. Want to know if you're a starseed? Steve explains that starseeds are not native to this dimension on earth and come from various dimensions and systems from other star races. Typical starseed statements growing up are having the feeling that 'you don't belong here or in this family'. You probably have the feeling of wanting to breakaway, and are drawn to things like saving the planet, raising consciousness on this planet, shifting from darkness to more light. Still wondering if this might be you? Steve breaks it down to explain that starseeds are all about shedding the conditioning that has plagued our society for hundreds of years, including moving from just left-brain logic based only ways of doing life to connecting and trusting more with intuition and creativity. This is a time to connect to our heart. Remember that everything is vibration so as you shift your consciousness (starseed or not), you are shifting your vibration. Steve also shared how our planet is moving from a 3D realm to 4D and eventually 5D. To break this down (since I needed an overview as well), here's the deal: 3D is what we've been in for the last two thousand years and it's all about fear, separation consciousness (us vs. them), shame, anger, guilt and frustration. We can see this construct being challenged and crumbling now as we start to look at the real racial and cultural injustice embedded in our country and world. 4D is all about the mastery of I am responsible for my reality. This is a pivotal point in change and is based on courage. It's all about the "I am co-creating my reality, I can shift from the inside out." Our planet moved into a 4th Dimensional realm in 2012 when we went from the age of Pisces to the age of Aquarius. 5D is about an open connection to higher self and love consciousness with reality. My favorite quote from this interview came at the end. I asked Steve if he had a 'heart flare' to share and he said "Do not feed the fear, focus on inspiration, being of service, love, gratitude and what you can do to step towards that." This is a Divine Feminine transmission from the Galactic Sun through the Stargate of our local Sun.
