Back from China, Tu Le and Lei Xing unpack one of the most consequential shifts happening in the global automotive industry: the technology relationship between China and Western automakers has completely flipped.  What began decades ago as Western companies bringing technology into China has become something very different. Today, automakers including Volkswagen, Stellantis, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Nissan and others are increasingly relying on Chinese batteries, software, ADAS systems, LiDAR suppliers, and EV platforms to remain competitive. In this episode, Tu and Lei discuss:Why Ford, GM, Volkswagen and Stellantis increasingly need Chinese technologyThe growing influence of XPeng, BYD, CATL, Huawei, Momenta, Hesai and Horizon RoboticsWaymo's rapid expansion and why autonomous driving is becoming impossible to ignoreThe reality of FSD versus China's rapidly improving intelligent driving systemsThe implications of the Trump-Xi summit for the automotive sectorCanada's evolving strategy toward Chinese EV importsWhat the Beijing Auto Show revealed about the future of the industryWhy the next battle is no longer about EVs — it's about software, AI and autonomyThe conversation also explores whether legacy automakers risk becoming hardware manufacturers while Chinese companies increasingly control the technology stack powering the future of mobility.  ⸻

The government's Electric Car Grant, offering up to £3,750 off qualifying EVs, has already been used by over 100,000 buyers and has driven a 10% rise in electric car demand.SWEDEN EV SHARE HITS 64.9% IN Q1Plugin EVs captured 64.9% of Sweden's auto market in Q1 2026, up from 58.0% a year earlier, with BEVs alone reaching 40.7% market share on a 21% volume increase despite the overall market shrinking 2%. A new BEV incentive scheme targeting lower-income rural households helped sustain momentum, while the Volvo EX40 held the top BEV sales spot for the third consecutive quarter.LGES 46-SERIES ORDERS TOP 440 GWHLG Energy Solution secured over 100 GWh of new orders for its 46-series cylindrical cells in Q1 2026, pushing its total backlog above 440 GWh, with the new business widely attributed to a reported ten-year BMW Group contract worth approximately €5.8 billion. The deal is said to cover both 4695 and 46120 cell formats linked to BMW's Neue Klasse platform, and would mark LGES's first time supplying cells for BMW battery-electric vehicles.ROLLS-ROYCE TESTS SECOND ELECTRIC VEHICLESpy photos have revealed Rolls-Royce testing an unnamed electric utility vehicle that closely matches the proportions and silhouette of the Cullinan, the brand's most popular model since its 2018 launch. Reports suggest this is not a next-generation Cullinan replacement but rather a separate new product alongside it.

If your kids are fighting constantly, you're probably exhausted from playing referee. Maybe they're arguing over whose toy is whose, poking and teasing each other until someone cries, or telling you two completely different stories about what happened. And when you step in to help, nothing seems to work. In this free Beyond the Behavior group coaching call, parent Stacy's 12-year-old and 7-year-old are caught in a cycle of constant sibling conflict - poking, teasing, hitting, and yes, even lying to get each other in trouble.  We might think that sibling fighting is about mean-ness, but actually it's a signal of underlying needs.  Once you understand what's driving the behavior, you'll have real tools to help your kids work through conflict - and a process for helping them find solutions that work for both of them. Click here to download the Steps on How to Stop Sibling Conflict Infographic Questions This Episode Will Answer Is sibling fighting normal?  Some conflict between siblings is common, but constant fighting - where nothing you try seems to work - is usually a signal that your child is trying to meet a specific need. Once you know what it is, it will be much easier to find a strategy that works for both of you. What causes siblings to fight so much?  The reason kids fight is often not what it looks like on the surface. Common needs children are trying to meet through fighting include: Connection with a parent (when they hit a sibling, they know they have your attention!)To be seen/known/understood by you, and they don't know how to express that, and they take out their frustration on their siblingTo play!  A surprising number of kids will hit another kid to say: “Will you play with me?” What are the most common triggers for sibling fights?  Most sibling fights start with an immediate need to play, a need for connection with you (and fighting with their sibling gets your attention) or a broader lack of wellbeing in the family that they express through hitting and fighting. Is it okay to let siblings work it out themselves?  Stepping back feels logical when nothing you do helps. But kids may think that you don't care whether or how they fight, which doesn't lead them to fight less. Instead, spending some time teaching them some new conflict resolution skills now will save you from years of refereeing their fighting down the road. How do you get siblings to stop hitting each other?  Sibling hitting is almost never just about aggression. There's usually something else going on underneath it - very often needs for things like connection, to be seen, known, and understood by you, and maybe even play with their sibling. Addressing those needs changes the behavior far more effectively than consequences do.  You can do this by: Connecting 1:1 for 10 minutes a day, doing something your child enjoysUnderstanding the major challenges they're facing (e.g. school, new sibling, other major life changes) and supporting them through those challengesTeaching kids how to say: “Do you want to play?” and “Yes!”, “Not right now, but maybe later” and “No thanks!”. How do you handle it when siblings lie about who started the fight?  When both kids are telling different stories, trying to figure out who's right pulls you into a dead end. Instead of investigating the past, shift your focus to what each child needed in that moment - and how to help them get it in a way that works for both of them. How do you resolve sibling conflict without refereeing every fight?  You can teach kids a specific process to stop their fights: name their feelings, identify what they need in that moment, and then brainstorm strategies that could meet both people's needs. Parents can teach this by practicing it in low-stakes moments first - not in the middle of a fight. How do you get siblings to stop tattling?  Tattling usually happens when a child wants a parent to take their side. When kids learn to identify what they need in a conflict and how to ask for it directly, the motivation to tattle drops - because they have a more effective way to get their needs met. What You'll Learn in This Episode Why sibling fighting is often a bid for connection - and why that reframe matters for how you respondWhy one child hitting another can actually be an attempt to play, not a sign of aggressionWhat it means to make a "bid for connection", and how to help both the child making the bid and the one receiving itWhy stepping back and letting kids handle conflict themselves can backfire - and what needs to be in place before that becomes a realistic optionHow to use feelings and needs language as a conflict resolution tool - and why starting with low-stakes moments between you and your child (not between the kids) is the most effective first stepWhy special one-on-one time with each child plays a bigger role in sibling conflict than most parents realizeHow to work with kids who shut down and won't talk - including non-verbal ways to stay connected in a hard momentA practical way to help even young children start solving conflicts together - including a real example of a 3-year-old and 5-year-old doing exactly that within weeks of their parents starting this approach Jump to highlights: 01:48 Introduction to today's episode 03:42 Parent Stacey shares the situation wherein her 12-year-old and 7-year-old are constantly fighting, poking, and teasing. Both kids have admitted to lying about what happened because they want to get each other in trouble. 06:03 Conflicts often start over objects, but attention, specifically connection, is the real driver behind much of the fighting. 06:39 Jen explains how we can shift from the negative connotation of "attention-seeking" to understanding it as kids looking for connection with each other and with parents. 10:58 Jen helps Stacey think about when one-on-one time could happen, like during drives to sports practice, and how to balance everyone's needs, including the parents' needs for rest and couple time. 12:45 What's missing is a real understanding of what needs are coming up for each person in their interactions. 17:43 Kids try to meet the same needs over and over. Connection and autonomy are almost always in the top three. 20:13 Wrapping up. 20:33 An open invitation to join the next Beyond the Behavior call. 20:40 An open invitation to the flash sale on one-on-one coaching until April 5.

Hip-hop didn't jump to “extreme” overnight—it evolved. In this episode, Capital J and D.L. Glass break down the progression pattern that keeps repeating in the culture: something small shows up, nobody checks it, then years later it explodes into the new normal. From raunchy rap shifting from “you had to be at the show” to on wax to full-on image + brand, to gang culture going from references… to real affiliations… to “every crew is a gang,” to violence becoming content, to raunchy male rap hitting a ceiling, to the mumble/SoundCloud era where “unpolished” stopped being a dealbreaker—this conversation connects the dots in a way that's going to have you pausing, rewinding, and arguing in the comments. And yes… y'all heard it right: they put KRS-One, N.W.A., Master P, Lil' Kim, and today's artists on the same timeline and ask the question everybody avoids:Did the culture choose this… or did it get conditioned into it?0:00 – Cold open / behind-the-scenesJ talks remixing the podcast theme and how the show has evolved (audio + occasional YouTube video).0:56 – The episode thesis: “the progression”D.L. lays out the core idea: “bad/tough stuff” in hip-hop often starts small, gets ignored, then balloons into its most extreme form.1:35 – Topic 1: Raunchy female rap's timelineEarly era: raunchy mostly a live-show thing (not always on record). First “shock on wax” moments (example mentioned: BWP). Lil' Kim as a turning point: lyrics + image + photoshoot era. The “normalized” moment: what used to be scandal becomes everyday.6:00 – The culture's desensitization effect“Went from ‘Oh my God' to ‘Who cares?'” The bigger point: once the shock wears off, the next extreme has to be louder to get attention.7:30 – Topic 2: “Gay rapper” progressionArgument: this trend hasn't “floodgated” yet the way others did, but the pathway looks familiar. Discussion of artists pushing boundaries and the idea that time determines what becomes normalized.10:00 – Topic 3: Gang culture 1.0 → 2.0 → 3.0West Coast storytelling era → real affiliations becoming visible → “everything is a gang” era. Conversation shifts to how mass appeal + branding can make dangerous identities feel “cool.”13:45 – Topic 4: Violence in hip-hopViolent imagery existed early (movies, covers, stage presence). Debate around “who introduced it” vs “who trivialized it.” Timeline logic: early shocks → pauses → later explosions → today's extreme outcomes.18:00 – “Mentorship vs outcome” momentA big “what if” discussion: how different paths and guidance could have changed outcomes.19:00 – Topic 5: Raunchy male rap reaching the ceilingFrom novelty raunch to mainstream—then into on-stage extremes. They argue it's hit the “pinnacle” where there's nowhere else to go.23:30 – Topic 6: Mumble rap / “unacceptable becoming acceptable”Debate around Master P opening the door for unpolished sound to reach the masses. Connection to the SoundCloud era: polish stopped being required to “finish the race.”29:00 – Topic 7: R&B following rap's raunchy curveR&B examples across eras and the argument that it's on the same path, just not fully “exploded” yet.31:30 – The “negative trends spread faster than positive” takeawayWhy positivity doesn't create a wave the same way controversy does.33:00 – Topic 8: Street code → oversharing eraFrom silence about real life to broadcasting everything (social media, diss cycles, public beefs). Monetization + attention economy as the accelerant.38:00 – “Trivializing violence” discussionThe difference between “meaningful” violence vs “casual” violence in lyrics and skits, and how that shapes listeners.40:00 – Closing thoughts + final punchlineThey call for a progression of positive and end with the “2026” reality check.

Why do the same arguments keep happening — even when you know better?Book a Discovery Call for Relationship Renovation CoachingIn Part 3 of our communication series, relationship therapists Tarah and EJ Kerwin break down what's really happening underneath conflict: emotional triggers, nervous system hijacking, and defensiveness. These are the moments when logic disappears, your partner feels like the enemy, and small issues turn into big ruptures. In this episode, we explain why triggers are not character flaws — they're internal emotional alarms — and how understanding your triggers can help you slow reactivity, reduce damage, and repair more quickly. You'll learn how to recognize when you're out of your window of tolerance, how your body signals activation, and how old wounds and core beliefs get activated in present-day relationships. We also walk through one of the core tools we use with couples: a step-by-step process to understand triggers, identify automatic thoughts and feelings, and reconnect in a more open-hearted, regulated way. This episode isn't about never being triggered. It's about learning repairable communication — so conflict becomes a pathway to deeper understanding instead of disconnection. In This Episode, We Cover:What emotional triggers actually are (and what they are not)Why defensiveness escalates conflict so quicklyHow triggers hijack the nervous systemSigns you're outside your window of toleranceThe connection between triggers, unmet needs, and core beliefsHow to slow down reactivity in the momentA practical framework for understanding and repairing after conflictWhy healthy relationships aren't trigger-free — they're repair-focusedResources & SupportIf you want help applying these tools to your real relationship — not just understanding them — you can join our

In today's episode, I'm talking about what happens when the thing isn't the thing. In rural and ag spaces, especially, we're really good at shoving feelings down and pushing through. What's underneath that “thing” is usually a whole pile of unacknowledged stuff (stress, exhaustion, grief, burnout, and more).Recognizing this gives us so much freedom. It helps us stop shaming ourselves for our reactions, stop personalizing other people's emotions, and create space to get curious about what's really going on.In this episode, I cover:How the “thing” that triggers us is often just the surface-level momentA real-life ranch example of displaced frustration between Tom and meWhat's usually underneath the “thing”How recognizing when the thing isn't the thing helps us and othersWhy this awareness creates space for curiosity, boundaries & more grounded communicationHow remembering that the thing isn't the thing allows us to extend grace & compassion Make sure to hit subscribe/follow so you never miss an episode! In this episode, Tu and Lei dive into a week dominated by autonomy, AI, and a widening gap between China's EV ecosystem and the rest of the world.  The episode opens with a deep reaction to Rivian's Autonomy AI Day—why it felt like déjà vu for anyone following China's smart-EV space, and how Rivian's announcements mirror what Chinese players like XPeng, NIO, and Li Auto have already been deploying. The hosts debate whether Rivian's approach represents real leadership or simply entry into the top tier. From there, the conversation expands to L4 autonomy momentum: WeRide launching passenger rides with Uber in Dubai, Mercedes partnering with Momenta in Abu Dhabi, and Waymo accelerating multi-city deployments while publishing safety data others still keep opaque.Tu and Lei also tackle the LiDAR vs. vision debate, Volkswagen's unusual dual bet on Rivian (US) and XPeng (China), and why silicon strategy—not just batteries—will decide winners. The discussion closes with affordability: why 300-mile EVs under $40K are existential for Western OEMs, and why China's cost structure makes that challenge unavoidable heading into 2026.Candid, comparative, and forward-looking, this episode explains why autonomy and AI—not just electrification—will define the next phase of the global auto industry.___

This Week on Autonomy Markets, Grayson Brulte and Walter Piecyk discuss Rivian's bold vertical integration bet as the EV maker announced plans to build their own chips and lidar sensors, effectively moving away from NVIDIA.Is the introduction of “Autonomy+”, a new software subscription priced to undercut competitors a risky distraction or a necessary move as the company works toward profitability? As Rivian looks inward, Wayve signed a major win, signing a definitive agreement to scale with Nissan in North America and Japan beginning in 2027.Then there is Uber. Who does Uber want to be when autonomy grows up, and who will their partners ultimately be and what those relationships will look like in the long term? Currently, Uber's autonomy narrative faces challenges, as the company appears to be playing defense while getting front-run by partners Waymo in the U.S. and Momenta in Abu Dhabi. People often imagine public relations as a world of glamour, fancy events, and almost magical visibility that appears with a few well-placed phone calls. And if you're like me, a fan of Sex and the City, you probably remember Samantha, the iconic publicist, always with a champagne glass in hand… but quite far from how things really work in our industry.Because in truth, public relations is a form of selling.Yes, selling, but a very particular kind: subtle, strategic, and deeply human. It's not about convincing a customer to buy a product. It's about proposing a story to a journalist or an influencer and inspiring them to tell it.PR is selling… without "selling"At the heart of public relations is the ability to convince a journalist, a partner, or an influencer that a story is worth sharing. We don't push.We don't manipulate. We propose. We spark interest.Just like in sales, PR is about presenting an idea, a point of view, and an angle that makes someone want to know more.A good salesperson highlights a product's benefits.A good PR professional highlights the relevance and value of a story. And the press release? It's not a bureaucratic exercise. It's PR's number-one tool: a way to package a message so that it becomes interesting, helpful, and relevant. That's why I like to say:"A press release is simply a well-presented value proposition."Because that's precisely what it is: an invitation for the media to enter your world and share your story. The media are also "clients"We often forget this, but journalists and influencers behave very much like real clients. They have specific needs, tight deadlines, mental overload, and every day they have to sort through hundreds of pitches. They are professionals whose goal is to create quality content for their audience. Our job in PR is to make their work easier:To offer strong stories, clear angles, credible data, and accessible spokespeople. It's not about ego, and it's not an opportunity to talk about yourself for free. It's about responding to a real need in their workflow. That's why I often repeat:"Just like in sales, PR is not about talking about yourself — it's about meeting the real needs of journalists and influencers."When you understand this, everything changes: your messages become sharper, your communication more effective, and your response rates… much higher.A strong PR pitch is a strong sales pitchThe parallel between sales and PR becomes even clearer when we look at what makes a great pitch.Whether it's aimed at a client or a journalist, the ingredients are identical:• a strong hook• a clear value proposition• a concise message• and the right person at the right momentA press-release pitch and a startup pitch follow the same rules. They must capture interest instantly, then make the other person want more.A good pitch is the one that makes someone say:"Interesting — tell me more."And that's why I like to summarize it this way:"PR is about selling ideas… and building relationships that last."ConclusionPublic relations is not a mysterious art reserved for a select few.It is simply a smart and strategic form of selling.A kind of selling that doesn't push products — but ideas, stories, and vision. And the good news is: PR is simple, and it's absolutely accessible to you.If you'd like to learn how to create a strong, compelling press release or craft a pitch that opens doors, join me for my next press-release workshop on December 17, 2025 — the last one of the year.To make sure you don't miss it:Sign up for our mailing list, and you'll also receive our six-step model to create PR and INFLUENCE campaignsA perfect preparation for the workshop. For anything else, feel free to reach out by email: nata@natapr.comNataSIGN UP TO OUR LISTS ➤ www.natapr.comTHE FREE NATA PR MODEL ➤ https://prschool.natapr.com/Nata-PR-ModelINSTAGRAM ➤ https://www.instagram.com/nata_pr_school/
