Whereas a person who practices celibacy, gives up oil (massage?), alcohol and meat on Sundays, will not fall ill and will not be poor or sorrowful. He will go to the sūryalōka (after death). The essence is that if someone practices austerities on Sunday, and worships the Sun daily, they will have children, wealth, good health and happiness. Former world heavyweight title challenger Carlos Takam grinded out a close hard fought decision over the very game Jerry Forrest this past Thursday in "The Bubble" at the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas. Takam, who is generally an inside volume punching fighter, decided to take a more methodical approach and box Forrest from the outside. After getting off to a very good start Takam faded a bit down the stretch while Forrest staged a late rally to close the gap. In the end the rally from Forrest just wasn’t enough and Takam held on to win a unanimous decision. Eric and Beeb recap this fight as well as the rest of the past week's boxing action.

Meet Tyler, also known by Takam. We sat down on for a virtual interview to talk about his beginnings in music, life in Pennsylvania, recording music and more. Takam is honest about his work, highlighting that he wants to be a better songwriter & talks about his past work. I say he has untapped potential because in a sense, he’s just getting started.
