In this episode, I share some thoughts on a child's faith. What does childlike faith mean? To me, it means full of wonder, simple, and teachable;I can only speak for myself and my personal experience; however, through the years, I have had many opportunities to interact with little children, observe, and learn that faith, like a child, is pure, uncomplicated, and unwavering. Children naturally trust and believe in the world around them. They are innocent, open, having a sense of wonder. They are free from judgment, skepticism, or suspicion. They have complete trust and confidence in something greater than themselves. from the scriptures, I learn repeatedly to remember to be like a little child, such as: "…submissive, meek, humble, patient, full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father." Mosiah 3:19Jesus reminds us to embrace childlike faith, emphasizing its importance in the spiritual journey. In Matthew 18:3-4, Jesus says, "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven." I have learned so much from children, and I want to share a few valuable reminders from the Savior's teachings and other traits of a child. I found them helpful to me in continuing my faith journey.1. Being Submissive means being gentle, willing to follow guidance, and accepting direction without resistance.2. Humble means humility, allowing me to recognize my limitations and rely on God. 3. Being a Meek means to remain calm, gentle, quiet, and composed, especially during challenging situations.4. Trusting means believing in God, in His goodness, but also the goodness and honesty of others. It means embracing uncertainty with the assurance that things will work out.5. To Forgive means letting go of anger or resentment toward others and being willing to mend relationships by giving grace and moving forward. Forgiveness brings freedom from the burdens of resentment and bitterness.6. Being full of Love means expressing affection and warmth freely and unconditionally, creating a loving and nurturing atmosphere. Children easily express love and affection, and they accept love and affection so freely. Be willing to be open-minded to new possibilities, see the good, and believe in positive outcomes. Avoid doubts and skepticism.Embrace Wonder as children do by looking at the world around us with awe. Find joy in the simple things and appreciate the beauty in everyday life.Live in the present, embracing every moment. Focus on the present rather than being consumed by past regrets or future anxieties. In closing, I share a song titled "Noc Czerwcowa" (The Night of June)“Great is the human who has not lost his childlike heart.” – Mencius.www.kasiasmusic.comwww.kasiasfaithjourney.comhttps://www.facebook.com/kasiasfaithjourney/

In Commemoration of the 37th EDSA People Power Anniversary: To Forgive and to Forget or To Forgive and Remember | Word and Songs Podcast with Sr. Lines Salazar, fsp Today, February 25, 2023, we commemorate the 37th anniversary of EDSA People Power Revolution 1. It was an iconic event in our Philippine History which was recognized and admired by people worldwide because it unites the Filipino people to carry out a bloodless revolution to end the 20-year dictatorship of Ferdinand Marcos Sr. and the restoration of democracy in the Philippines. Do you still remember those days? Or for our young generation… Are you aware of it? Do you have painful or encouraging memories of it? Or we just say these phrases; “forgive and forget” or “forget and remember” what happened there? From February 22 to 25, 1986, Filipinos are united to regain our freedom, in restoring our dignity, and bring back life. And for us, new generation, we benefitted from the courage of our people at that time; and it leads us to see that weapons are not a solution to resolve conflict instead humility and openness of heart. Through the prayers of nuns, priests, and those who believe that God will intervene there is a twist of decision that happened unexpectedly. We FORGIVE and move forward. Sometimes, memories or past events give us a good spirit to move forward but sometimes it adds conflict among us. Conflicts divided us and made us forget the goodness that happened in that event. EDSA 1 is a powerful image of courage but most of all forgiveness. Forgiveness is an action that seems so impossible but leads to healing, let us not FORGET the suffering of our people who were there in EDSA 1. They fought bravely, risked their lives for any eventuality. Do not forget the pain that it caused our people during that time, the lives that suffered abuse. Do not forget that somehow, we defended our country, that somehow God showered us with his graces with bravery to face the tanks and soldiers who were ready to shoot the rallying people. Yes, we forgive! But to forget is not a way to be blinded by the thought that that event is just mere propaganda. It is a heroic event that unites all Filipinos from different walks of life, religion, and beliefs. As it says, “The stupid neither forgive nor forget; the naive forgive and forget; the wise forgive but do not forget.” The wise can forgive but cannot forget because the error that happens in his life guides him to be keen in traversing the present. Remembering is our way of reminiscing about an event that somehow helped us not to forget the person we loved or memories we treasured. Like the other thief who begged Jesus not to forget him when he is in his kingdom. “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” (Lk. 23:42) His words moved the heart of God and he promised that he will be with him. Then, let us remember that event, and forgive those people who abused others and their power but do not forget the good things that happened, and even the pain that our fellow Filipino endures. History cannot be repeated but if we are not careful enough we will repeat history and maybe much worse than the past. Let us remember God's saving hand that guides our people at that time. EDSA 1 is not only about one person or one family, instead it is about the solidarity of one nation that awes the entire world. Friends, let us forgive the people who hurt us and pray for them and remember the pain and cruelty we experienced are points to be strong. Hand in hand let us stand as one to attain our most longed for peace in our country.

This Sunday we welcome back Mike Sares, Executive Director of Urban Skye, with the message "To Forgive or Not". In a perfect relationship, there is no need to forgive or to be forgiven. This sermon speaks to all those other relationships—the ones that are not perfect. What does it mean to forgive someone, and just how do we forgive someone who has hurt us deeply?
To Forgive is part of everyone's life. Either to forgive someone else or ourselves and in some cases both. The feeling of anger, disappointment, resentment and sadness can cause physical and emotional problems if you are unable to forgive. Figure of today In my Gestalt Therapy praxis I have worked with many clients on forgiving and also not wanting to, or unable to forgive. Often enough the person that needs to be forgiven is not in the room or there is not an opportunity to talk to this person. When that happens we work with experiments which I have spoken about in previous episodes. How is this important? To clarify why it is important to forgive, I am giving a concrete example of Hugo, a client of mine who was cheated on by his girlfriend. Hugo decided to forget her and that would make her disappear. Eventually he started to get physical problems, because forgetting and forgiving are not the same. What's Gestalt in all of this? Hugo recognized that the physical problems were related to the break up with his girlfriend. By recognizing and understanding he was able to do something about it. By talking to her in the experiments he became more at peace with the situation. Even though he did not forgive her, he was now ready to move on. You can find all the needed details for contacting me to make an appointment or get more information about my praxis on my website; https://www.willegestalt.eu/ You can follow me on: https://www.facebook.com/willegestalt/ https://www.instagram.com/willegestalt/ To make sure you never miss an episode you can follow my podcast via your podcast app of choice. You've left the toxic environment or relationship. You've been doing the work of healing past wounds. You've moved forward in so many ways. Then one day you're face-to-face with the person who caused you so much pain. How do you respond? In this episode, we discuss the power of forgiveness and how it is essential to living a life of joy. Yes, it can be hard, but it is possible to forgive even that person, and it's necessary if we're going to be a source of healing for the world. Listen in as we wrap up our 3-part series on Reclaiming Joy.Reflection/Discussion Questions:1. Look up and read Ephesians 4:25-5:2(vs. 26-27) Who does Paul say we are making room for when we hang on to anger?Look carefully over the entire passage. What does Paul say we need to put away or give up?(vs. 4:32-5:2) What are the traits and/or actions Paul says we should possess?Looking at both lists, which traits are more prevalent in your life right now?Ask yourself, "Based on my current attitudes, who am I making room for in my soul?2. What is one practical step you can take today to live in love?3. What sins of others have you been retaining? What has been the result of that physically, emotionally, and spiritually?"Forgiveness is dangerous to those who prefer tragic storylines." Who better than my ex-husband to share his powerful story in how we have come to the place we are today. With my infidelity at the core of our divorce, Kevin has led the example of what forgiveness is, and why it is important to forgive. Like I tell everyone, Kevin is a unique special person that everyone loves to be around. And while much of that topic is serious, we made sure to also share other positive feel-good stories like his career pivot from being a Nuclear Reactor Operator to Podcast Management (you can change this) Company Owner! With his willing to help attitude, it was the perfect storm when I was in panic mode 2 years ago looking to find a podcast editor/manager/do-this-for-me person. To Forgive someone is not the easiest thing to do. In our day to day lives we also think about forgiving people who keep hurting us and that's is a big question mark. Also to forgive someone who doesn't even know that they done something wrong or never apologise to you is difficult as well but ask yourself for a moment – do you really want to take your next step carrying the grudges of the past? Is that what you want to become? Do you want to give that much of importance to those memories which have hurt you or do you want to work towards erasing them or have a counter to them by just doing certain things which will help you to forgive. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/sunil-koul/message

"You know how when we don't get something we really really want, we can wallow in the emotions and feelings that dredge up..." Welcome to Episode 72 of Roll With Peace, In Mind. Today's riff is No Regrets, When Things Are Not Meant To Be: On The Mindfulness Tip. Man how many things can we find ourselves regretting on the regular? Countless times! In this episode, using an example from my own life, I talk about how holding regrets don't help to move us forward--these 'what ifs' 'should haves' and I wish it didn't' types of thoughts are assaults on our psyche because things DID happen the way we didn't want them to--playing them over and over in our minds is counter-productive, and letting go of regrets allows us to live more fully... Forgiving the person who has wronged you is on of the most important—and difficult—decisions you will ever make. How can you do it, and why? In this Easter season the topic comes into sharp focus with the startling words of Jesus from the Cross. I invite you to listen to this episode, “To Forgive, Divine,” as I explore the practical steps toward forgiveness.
To Forgive is to know, that there is nothing to forgive. We work with an affirmation to heal our body and mind. Forgiveness is the highest form of surrender.
Spirit-sustained Power... "I pray that he may grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with power in your inner being through his Spirit" — Ephesians 3:16 ...To Forgive "When they heard these things, they...
"To Err Is Human,To Forgive, Divine"We Learn From Failure, Not From Success. Well,We All Make Mistakes,So Just Put It Behind You.We Should Regret Our Mistakes And Learn From Them, But Never Carry Them Forward Into The Future With Us. Learn From Your Mistakes And Move On.
We are blessed with the Wisdom of our ancestors. Who teach us and guide us in this Bible Blueprint for life. They teach us about the power of healing, the power of forgiveness, and the strength we all posses to remove emotional layers that prevent us from coming close to each other. It all begins with making that quarter turn in our lives. Removing the veil- the mask - that separates us. Letting our guard down a little, surrendering a little more. Allowing the healing waters of forgiveness to seep in so that love may prevail. May we all Find the will and strength to turn, when we need TO FORGIVE, TO HEAL, TO LOVE.
To Forgive and Forget. Is that even possible? What if you have a good memory, are you doomed? Is this why people do drugs? Probably. Lots of questions around Ye Ole' F word... It has been said that the ability to truly Forgive is the highest form of Love. But what about self love? Is protecting yourself from being hurt again more important? Does blanket Forgiveness imply that you are now a perpetual Doormat? Forgiveness is most certainly tricky, but experts agree it's really for your own peace of mind, in the long run. Does this mean you have to let that person back in again? Not necessarily. In this Episode, Tammy and Heather dive right into the mire and do the backstroke in the murky waters of Forgiveness. How did humans, a species of self-centered apes, come to care deeply about complete strangers? From an evolutionary standpoint, we shouldn't be kind to strangers. Yet, history shows, time and again, we are. Scientists see it as a puzzle to solve. Michael McCullough, Professor of Psychology at the University of California, San Diego, believes it's what sets us apart. He says, "[We] love to talk about ways in which humans are biologically unique, and there's a million ways. But I really do think that our regard for strangers, absolute strangers, is one of them." Michael is author of the book, The Kindness of Strangers: How a Selfish Ape Invented a Moral Code. Drawing on multiple fields, he crafts a story of how our empathy for strangers has changed over time. He covers a lot of ground, moving from ancient history to modern psychology. Ultimately, he arrives at the pandemic present, where he asks, "How are you going to bring the tools of reasoning, ethics, and science all together to make rational choices about collective courses of action?" A Fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, Michael is also the author of two previous books, To Forgive is Human and Beyond Revenge. We have to choose to let annoyances pass, to forgive, to be kind, to respect, to support, to be faithful. Sometimes it’s easy and sometimes it’s incredibly hard, but it is up to us to choose how we want to act, think and speak. Life can change in an instant. Make sure you appreciate what you have, while you still have it.

We’ve all been done wrong, the natural reaction is to expect an apology. The truth is, that apology might not come. If it does, are you ready to forgive? How would you like to receive it? How should apologies be given? Meezy calls out Rezz for her crazy remarks, Nick admits he needs his apologies with something extra, and the crew helps a member of The Grey Area with an issue. To Forgive or Not to Forgive? Stop drinking poison and expecting the other person to die! Please join me and my co-host Pastor Mireille Gbebry, Tabernacle International Ministries, Montreal, Canada for part II of last week's show as we continue to embark upon a discussion that will bring deliverance, healing and empowerment. This is a powerfully dynamic and thought provoking dialogue that reveals why many of your blessings are hindered. Last week we found out that 'forgiving denotes strength rather than weakness.' After listening to this show you will be able to experience a freedom you never thought was possible.
Many are living in spiritual poverty because of what we plan to talk about today – To Forgive or Not to Forgive? Stop drinking poison and expecting the other person to die! How you answer this question can make the difference in whether or not you will go into spiritual bankruptcy or if you will enjoy the spiritual riches God has promised you. How does un-forgiveness affect our giving or receiving monetary gifts? How does un-forgiveness affect our health? What are the ramifications and what are the blessings to forgiving and to be forgiven? So much hinges on these questions. Please join me with my spiritual daughter and co-host for this show Pastor Mireille Gbebry, Tabernacle International Ministries, Montreal, Canada as we embark upon a discussion that will bring deliverance, healing and empowerment to all who listen and adhere to the word of the Lord. Stop drinking poison and expecting the other person to die! Hear and obey the word of the Lord!!!
