Pintreest As this podcast goes to air we continue to move through the eclipse portal of energy. The Solar Eclipse comes in on Wed, Oct 2nd in the sign of Libra. Whereas the Luna eclipse was about pulling us out of our comfort zones, and releasing old karma, the solar eclipse is about stepping forward with a new sense of who we truly are. It's about setting intentions to trust your higher self.. to connect with the wisdom of your soul. The energy of libra is about finding balance. Do you take time to pause and slow down.. or do you keep yourself so busy you don't know how to sit still. ?hen we continually keep going and don't recognize the power that comes from pausing, it can be draining. Within each of is an inner strength that comes from the wisdom of our Soul. From my perspective, this Soul force is strong and embodies our individuality and core passions. It represents the essence of who we are—an intrinsic part of us that cannot be ignored and yearns for expression. Many people think this Soul force, if it exists at all, is unrelated to our everyday lives. I think the opposite: to truly find satisfaction in our day and reach our fullest potential, regardless of our field, we must engage with and harness this inner power otherwise we will find ourselves drained of energy. Our higher self filters energy.. it helps us receive higher guidance.. but when we are too busy and drained, the information we seek becomes elusive.. we don't trust the messages.. we continuously search and wander. Allow the energy of this eclipse to guide you to set new patterns. It's the perfect time to step into your magic and embrace change. Have you ever felt like a pushover, always ready to lend a hand at your own expense? Or perhaps you've found yourself overwhelmed, juggling too many ideas all at once? If so, it might be time for a significant transformation in your life. Are you tired of feeling drained? Are you ready to ground your energy and focus on what truly matters instead of getting lost in distractions? In my recent quiz, “What's Your Evil Archetype?”, I discovered that last year's top response was the People-Pleaser. This year, however, the Wandering Soul has taken the lead, indicating a struggle to focus amidst an excess of wandering energy. Following closely is the Saboteur, who self-sabotages efforts, preventing progress. Do these patterns resonate with you? Many of us find ourselves caught in these cycles without even realizing it. Old habits keep you in your comfort zone. They are why you walk around feeling stressed, anxious, and fearful to move forward. They're why you are having trouble trusting new decisions and making new choices about your life. These habits keep you from being present and enjoying your life. Imagine breaking free from these cycles once and for all. I have a unique and powerful approach to help you do just that. If you'd like to explore this further, schedule a complimentary Spiritual Upgrade Breakthrough Call. Click here. In today's episode, I continue the discussion of expanding states of consciousness. I welcome back to the show, Maureen St. Germain with her book, Living Your Best 5D Life. We talk about how it is possible to undergo dimensional shifts and make spiritual “upgrades” that allow you to shift instantly into 5D. In this episode, we talk about practices for thinking in 5D, the MerKaBa, 8D, the higher self, the light body, navigating the higher dimensions, and how you can harness your strength and energy to live your best 5D life.
Today, Provost of Living Faith Bible Institute Brandon Briscoe discusses a new book with author John Wright, Prodigals: Hope for Lost Sons and Daughters, Regretful or Longsuffering Parents, and Bitter Brethren. Whether you're a parent, sibling, or friend, you've likely felt the sting of a loved one abandoning you or the faith for a life of wandering in the world. There are complex emotions tangled up in this hurt—anger at the offense, confusion at the decision, bitterness at the rejection, and grief at the loss, among many others. It is a great comfort that this phenomenon is not estranged from God, and He has laid out stories and principles in His Word that can guide us in this process. Prodigals uses the story of the prodigal son to walk through a biblical perspective of loved ones' hurtful decisions but also a biblical perspective of our own hearts as we learn to reckon that hurt rightly. Using Luke 15 as the guiding passage, we follow along with the prodigal son as he rejects his father's provision, seeks fulfillment in the world, is greatly humbled, and returns penitent to a welcoming father. This story outlines for us the typical trajectory of a prodigal, and in so doing, it offers hope to those who, like the father, are patiently waiting at home for their loved one's return. Prodigals also addresses other heart postures woven into this story, speaking specifically to those who may be wrestling with bitterness, envy, and skepticism at a prodigal's decisions, or to those who may be prodigals themselves. Through God's Word we come to learn that God's heart is one of grace, longsuffering, and reconciliation, and as believers in Jesus Christ, we get to adopt that same heart towards our children, siblings, and friends who have wandered. Starlight Thursdays Episode 117 Featuring Night Ryder. The wandering soul is a collection of tracks that have been collected and listened to over 12,000 miles of traveling adventures. Night Ryder has relocated to Nevada and has honed in his sound more than ever imagined. Although he won't be at Forest Creatures this year, we have this mix. Should help a little with how much we'll mis him.
If you listen carefully on a quiet night, you may hear cries of a weeping woman calling for her lost children. Maybe you tell the children in your life that if they misbehave, she'll come for you. That's right! In this episode, we tell the story of La Llorona, a woman from Mexican folklore who was wronged by her husband and transformed into the darkest version of herself. Some may say she was a monster. Join us as we recount La Llorona's origin story and discuss its implications from a feminist/Chicanx perspective. What better way to end our first mini series!
In this week's sermon, I take a look at the two directions and the two end destinations that one can reach on their journey. For those the wandering soul and the genuine believer, we must learn to turn to God for His guidance and direction.
Interview was done February 23, 2022 I love meeting new people willing to let me in and share their “lemon to lemonade” experience! This story is about Pradas who lives in Dubai, India and he learned three things: 1. To be open to change! 2. That there is a difference between conflict and argument and 3. There is a fine line between professional and personal life. He teaches about worry, choosing battles, and letting go. What message do you get from this interview? ABOUT the LemonAid Stand: Heidi started hosting the LemonAid Stand live radio talk show, over 20 years ago, in 1999! It all came about when Heidi was dealing with thoughts of suicide, inadequacy, and dealing with infertility. She realized as she reached out to others and heard their stories, she would be uplifted and inspired no matter what she was going through. So this podcast has old "Original" shows from that time period. It also has "New" shows that are currently being recorded with new guests. And it has "Update" shows where Heidi reached out to original radio show guests to find out how the past 20 years have been! Theme song written and recorded by Heidi's baby brother Shane! As the Vietnam War dragged on, the U.S. military began desperately searching for any vulnerability in its North Vietnamese enemy. In 1964, it found one: an old Vietnamese folktale about a ghost, eternal damnation, and fear—a myth that the U.S. could weaponize. And so, armed with tape recorders and microphones, American forces set out to win the war by bringing a ghost story to life. Today, The Experiment examines those efforts and the ghosts that still haunt us. This story originally aired on “Mixtape,” a special series from Radiolab about how the cassette tape allowed us to record, reshuffle, and reimagine our lives. A transcript of this episode is available. Be part of The Experiment. Use the hashtag #TheExperimentPodcast, or write to us at theexperiment@theatlantic.com.

Did you know you can turn your shed into a brewery in Massachusetts? Wandering Soul Beer Co. founder Matt Smith is a gypsy brewer. Well, he has his own brewery, a small setup in the shed behind his house. Local laws allow Matt to sell beer from his shed brewery... brewery shed? He recently held a bottle release and had folks lining up in his neighborhood to grab some of that sweet nectar. I hope he has cool neighbors. The shed won't meet the demand for Wandering Soul Beer so large batches are gypsy-brewed at a few local breweries. The original plan for Wandering Soul was to be a one-and-done brewery. When Matt and his wife suffered a tragic loss, he found peace in brewing. Eventually, he came up with a recipe he wanted to brew and share with the public, Melody Maker. The intent was to brew it one time only, but the popularity of the release took him back for another batch. Now Wandering Soul brews one batch a month and once it's gone, it's gone. We talk with Matt about what led him to brewing, ska bands, love/hate for El Dorado hops, and plans for Wandering Soul in the future. The Beer List Wandering Soul Beer Co. This week Clint and Dawson talk with Liz Fieser. Liz Fieser is a wandering soul with a knack for adventure and a deep sense of curiosity. Currently, Liz calls Tivoli, Italy, a small mountain town outside of Rome, home. When she's not on the trails in Tivoli, Liz travels to places that both inspire and challenge her. Liz is taking a breath after years spent building marketing and social strategies with startup companies like Lime and Cabana, while working for clients like Visit Bishop, Marmot, and Spotify. Despite working an occasional freelance gig, Liz's main focus since leaving her full-time position in March is to unwind her worth from the typical western identity of work. She is now on a mission to figure out what really moves her, and where she wants to focus her creative energy next. Liz is motivated by mountains, creating with others, talking philosophy, and spends her free time hiking, watercolor painting "poorly" (her words), and writing. Liz also throws in some travel tips and favorite spots from around the USA and Europe. Thanks for listening! Find all our episodes at dayfirepodcast.com This podcast is powered by ZenCast.fm
There are some personalities who would embrace being called The Greatest Country Singer Ever or, at least, settle into the role once it became clear the brand was eternal. George Jones did not have one of those personalities. The fame and fortune generated by his talent made him want to run away, so he spent decades running... toward something even worse than what he was trying to escape. Was there ever a chance of this story playing out any differently? Probably not, no. But what in the hell even happened here? Our search for answers takes us back to Texas for one Singing Marine's perspective on what it was like when lightning started flashing and thunder started clashing as he took the country music world by storm.
Singer & songwriter @HIRIE spun her global citizenship into a lush and vibrant strain of reggae-pop in the middle part of the 2010s. Backed by a six-piece band, the Filipino-born, Italian-raised, Oahu-based musician enjoyed somewhat of a breakout with her positively focused 2016 release Wandering Soul, and later built on that success with 2019's Dreamer. Likely you have heard of the asteroid belt, that planetary graveyard between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter, where numerous space rocks revolve around the Sun. The asteroids formed early in the Solar System’s development, when pre-planetary bodies (planetesimals) repeatedly collided under Jupiter’s immense gravitation, continually fragmenting into what we see today. You may know some of their names— Ceres, Vesta, Pallas, Juno. You can add one more to your list-- the strange, spud-shaped world of Psyche.

Everything that seems complicated is simple, and on the contrary that which seems simple is complicated in nature. Above all else, realize this, you are where you are to learn something and soon as you learn what you must you will move on. Matters of this realms are temporary.
The holy man smiled at the twinkle in the young mans eyes, and through his grin he replied “you may go wherever your feet and will take you, just make sure than when you get there you show reverence and pay respects to the silent holiness and the glowing radiance of the everlasting luminosity that is within you. Then you will surely find peace and stillness and rest at any time.”

My guest today is Philip Walsh who shares with us his struggles to fit into mainstream society at times, he wants to live in a world full of good food, nature and healing. After leaving home and travelling around the world, it brought him on a journey of self-discovery which led him back home to Ireland where he opened up a men's circle to help and encourage others to share and feel supported. Philip has created a space for men of all ages and backgrounds, to come together in an open and non-judgemental way, exploring topics that they can learn from each other. A lover of music, horses and travel, Philip now feels he has finally begun to understand the journey of self-love and wants to now share this with others through Reiki, mindfulness and energy training. God our Shepherd isn’t looking for perfect sheep. He takes us as we are and helps us become more like Jesus. He knows we are sheep. He understands our tendencies. Maybe your soul is cast down or you feel stuck and helpless. Maybe you’ve drifted away from your closeness with God and wandered into other fields, believing there was something better over there. Your Shepherd is looking for you. Won’t you come home?

"You've got boys flying kites again..." —George W. Bush About: Oh, the privilege. And what a privilege it is to publish a story about the broader theme of culture and identity, specifically for Afghanistan’s diaspora living in the States, like those on that third-culture-wave, when Afghans from the home country are left dealing with far harsher realities. The diaspora’s dilemma pales in comparison (if you’re that foolish to try and compare the two) to their dilemma. No less, it is still a dilemma. With that in mind, Part I of this multi-part story dives into that nebulous question...what does it really mean to be Afghan? Really, what does it mean to be from anywhere? This is a tricky one. This weeks episode is a special one for us here at Brew Roots, we finally sat down with one of our favorite brewers Matt Smith from Wandering Soul Beer Company out of Beverly Massachusetts. Matt tells us about how he started his brewery as an opportunity to remember his daughter Melody who tragically passed away when his wife Abby was 8 1/2 months pregnant with her. Matt talks about reaching a point where he knew that he needed to do something to honor Melody's memory and that's where Wandering Soul Beer Company came into existence. We are really proud of how this episode came out and we hope you enjoy it as well.Make sure to get your hands on some of Wandering Soul's awesome beer by checking their website.Cheers See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Welcome to the 44th Episode of The Two Tankers and A Cat Podcast! In this episode we talk about the multi turreted T-35 Soviet Union heavy tank. Often called a land battleship, it was the only five-turreted heavy tank in the world to reach production, but proved to be slow and mechanically unreliable. We also talk a little about Operation Wandering Soul that took place during the Vietnam War. This operation was a propaganda campaign exercised by U.S. Forces during the Vietnam War. We want to thank all of our Patrons who have supported our podcast! To all of our current Patrons make sure you keep an eye on your mailbox for your token of appreciation from us here at Two Tankers and A Cat! Happy Tanking, and As Always Have A Great Week! Almost a lost episode! We recorded this in late February (?) just before things started to go sideways. As usual, we talk about Life stuff, drink beers, and eventually go through Operation Wandering Soul, one of the creepier Psy-Ops campaigns (that we know of). Hope you enjoy our last episode, who knows how everything will play out? The future is unwritten. Like Madonna said, "Life is a myyyyysteeeery...". Beers : Sloop Brewing Co.- Confliction Dry Hopped Sour, Fantome Pissenlit Belgian Saison, 18th Street Brewery - Here Comes The Reaper IPA, WestKill Brewery - Sunshine Valley Bavarian Lager and Brookie Light Lager.
This week, Aly tells Nat all about the paranormal side to The Vietnam War. Bet they didn't teach you this in high school. Also, we FINALLY figured out how to record remotely (we think??) please be nice, this took way too many days to do (I think a total of literally 36 hours between research, recording, and editing). Skip the intro if you don't want to hear about coronavirus. We love ya'll and hope everyone is staying safe!

In this episode we talk with Stephen Price again as our first recording was half eaten by the podcast gods. In this episode we talk about the new game con called Rising Phoenix Game Con in Milford Massachusetts coming in April 17-19 2020. From the beginnings the group putting this game convention wanted it to be a bit different. They want their attendees to be immersed in the gaming world. Coming from LARP roots these game con creators are working to make it seem like your going to a Renaissance Faire. They are working to offer a wide variety of Roleplaying Games to their attendees along with boardgames and even miniature games. Stephen Price is part of the committee that is putting on Rising Phoenix Game Con. He chats with us about the vision of their group. We also discuss what they are looking for in GMs for their con and the type of Con experience they are trying to give their attendees. Some ideas that tell us this group is really thinking they have two separate room blocks. One block for the die hard gamers that want that max experience with lots of games and little sleep. And a quiet block of rooms for those that actually want to sleep, like more than a few hours or have a small children that really need a quiet setting. As always thanks for listening and all we ask is that you share our podcast with family and friends. During the Vietnam war, the US army's Psychological Operations, or PSYOP, teams were deployed to battle communist Viet Cong guerillas and the North Vietnamese Army. Their goal was to try to weaken the enemy's willingness to fight. They used a variety of methods including playing spooky "Wandering Soul" tapes which preyed on local beliefs about the afterlife.
