We finish our school, college, university with a strong hope of attaining huge massive success in our careers. But when we are actually at it, when we actually start working in our jobs and careers, a majority of us seems to get lost along the way. What started as a strong passionate desire to make it big, ends up leaving us frustrated and mediocre in our everyday work life, and our career becomes only a way to earn a living, that we don't really feel happy and proud about. And why is that? One of the key reasons is that we don't really take time to figure out what success really looks like to us, what we really want out of our careers and jobs, and what matters to us the most.As success is something that everyone is after, let's discuss corporate success, and how you can define your own authentic version of success and achieve that.Today, I have Riah Gonzalez to talk about this much sought after thing called success. Her work has been featured in The Feminine CEO podcast, Uncommon Couch, With Heart, Human Up, and more. Her first book, "Successful as F*ck: A No BS Tail of Screwing Up and Succeeding Anyway" is available now on Amazon.Beloved for her complete authenticity, raw honesty, and loveable humour, Riah dives deep into her traumatic past and turbulent healing process to prove that it is possible to hit rock bottom and come out stronger on the other side, with your wit intact! Her stories and introspections cut straight through, and challenge everyone to redefine success with unapologetic authenticity.Tune in Now!CONNECT WITH RIAH GONZALEZWebsite: https://riahgonzalez.com Instagram:  https://www.instagram.com/riahgonzalez_author/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/riah.gonzalez.9--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Please feel free to reach out to us for any questions.connect@authorhina.comExperiencing a Challenge?Book with me a 30 minute FREE  CLARITY CALL------------------------------Explore our Upcoming 3 and 5 days Corporate Healing Retreats------------------------------Check out my books:https://amzn.to/3B65Wz7------------------------------Download FREE Life Assessment Tool-------------------------------Join my Facebook Communityhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/corporateclubCONNECT WITH MEFacebook TwitterInstagramLinkedIn-------------------------------Theme Music CreditHappy Days In Summer by MusicLFilesTop Software Engineers from Eastern Europe | IT Staff Augmentation | Money Back GuarantyBoost your tech team with top IT talent, risk-free hiring, 10% off with code ECHO PODCAST.Support the show

For today's Podcast, Warren goes over the many important elements that make up one of Blondie's most popular songs, Heart Of Glass.  In 1979 Blondie, the New York band fronted by Debbie Harry, had their first US hit with “Heart of Glass”, a propulsive, glitter-smothered track about a love affair gone wrong, and a shoo-in for radio playlists. It was a bold new sound for the new-wavers whose first album had combined Sixties pop melodies with choppy guitars and a snarly attitude. Blondie played regularly at the punk mecca CBGB, and hung around with Television, The Ramones and the New York Dolls. With “Heart of Glass” they had gone full disco, and not everyone was happy about it. In July 2020, I offered a Dharma talk at Tassajara Zen Mountain Center titled Smashing Pumpkins. In it I recount an incident that occurred when I was a senior at Mount Vernon (NY) High School. My friend Donáh O. heard the talk via a link on my FB page and reached out to me. We had not been in communication since graduating in (gasp!) 1985. It’s been wonderful reconnecting and renewing our friendship. Last year, Donáh invited me to be on her podcast “Move Through and With Heart.” Below is Donáh’s introduction to our podcast conversation. Jul 23rd, 2021 In this episode, I had the opportunity to sit down and talk to a Zen Buddhist priest about how our thoughts are the cause of so much suffering. We discuss social justice, the Buddhist Four Noble Truths, and how the mind causes troubling thoughts. This is a great talk on how we can see the world from a different perspective. Rev. Shoren shares her spiritual journey from being raised a Roman Catholic to being a Roaming Catholic to ordaining as a Zen priest on October 2014.SparkZen is a labor of love fueled by a deep aspiration that all beings may know peace. Fred Cappuccino 40:54 17 “Carry the Flame of Peace and Love” 42:17 The Unitarian Church of Edmonton is a liberal, multi-generational, religious community. We celebrate a rich mosaic of free-thinking, spiritually-questing individuals joined in common support and action. We welcome diversity including diversity of beliefs from divine believers to humanists, from pagans to atheists and agnostics. We believe in the compassion of the human heart, the warmth of community, the pursuit of justice and the search of meaning in our lives. We gather with gratitude on traditional Cree lands that are now a part of Treaty Six and shared by many nations. A treaty is an inheritance, a responsibility and a relationship. May we be good neighbours to one another, good stewards to our planet and good ancestors to our children. Bryce Adams is a passionate coffee professional and digital media designer who strives to create lasting experiences and relationships, and a love for coffee. He has worked in coffee over 5 years between Starbucks and managing two specialty shops. He is pushing over the next few years to reach the US Barista Championship and sometime in the next many years, open the doors to a brick and mortar shop. He is always open to meeting over coffee and talking about coffee and tons of other stuff as he has way too many interests. He is creative and can give you tons of fun facts. Today we talked about the Global Coffee Crisis -- This channel started as an inspired moment to share the moments of imagination that drive our lives forward. The concept of profit has always been a paradox - to gain more than you give. Through a unique circumstance of events in my life, that definition has changed: the real impact happens when you give with your whole heart - a contribution that means more than money, fame, or power. Profit W!th Heart is an artistic journey told through the lens, the mic and the editing bay. Join me on a mission to navigate the underpinnings of the business world, the real issues going on in todays world while we uncover the diamonds in the rough, the moments of clarity, and the light at the top of the hilltop. This channel includes short films, interviews, and outpourings of creative freedom that express more to life than the pursuit of profit as we know it. It's more than business, it's Prof!t With Heart. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/original-salescast/message
