Listeners of Suite Run that love the show mention: things running, podcast for runners,The Suite Run podcast is a delightful and enjoyable show that combines two of my favorite things - running and travel. Hosted by Natalie and Jerold Mitchell, each episode features a guest who shares their favorite places to run, eat, relax, and explore in their respective cities. As an avid runner and traveler, this podcast provides me with endless inspiration and ideas for my future trips.
One of the best aspects of The Suite Run podcast is the rapport between the hosts and the guests. Natalie and Jerold have a great energy and chemistry that makes the conversations feel natural and engaging. They ask thoughtful questions and allow the guests to share their stories and recommendations with enthusiasm. The variety of guests, from amateur runners to professional athletes, brings diverse perspectives and insights into each city's running scene.
Another aspect that I love about this podcast is the insider view it offers of each location through a runner's eyes. The guests not only talk about their favorite running routes but also highlight the best places to eat, drink, race, and stay in their cities. This comprehensive approach provides listeners with a well-rounded guide to make the most out of their visit. The show notes accompanying each episode are also a valuable resource for trail recommendations, food suggestions, and more.
As for any negatives, it might be challenging for some listeners to keep up with all the places recommended in each episode. With so many fantastic destinations discussed on the show, it can be overwhelming to remember all of them or find time to visit them all. However, this is a small issue that can easily be resolved by bookmarking episodes or taking note of the recommendations for future reference.
In conclusion, The Suite Run podcast is a must-listen for runners and travelers alike. Natalie and Jerold's passion for running shines through in every episode as they explore various cities around the world through the lens of local runners. Whether you're looking for new running routes or seeking inspiration for your next travel destination, this podcast is an excellent resource and a joy to listen to.
