    Bürogebäude - Diese Kategorie umfasst Ein-Mieter-Immobilien, kleine professionelle Bürogebäude, Wolkenkratzer in der Innenstadt und alles dazwischen. Industrie - Diese Kategorie reicht von kleineren Objekten, oft als "Flex"- oder "R&D"-Immobilien bezeichnet, über größere Büroservice- oder Bürolagerobjekte bis hin zu den sehr großen Industrieobjekten "Big Box". Ein wichtiges, bestimmendes Merkmal von Industrieflächen ist die lichte Höhe. Die lichte Höhe ist die tatsächliche Höhe bis zum Boden der Stahlträger im Inneren des Gebäudes. Dies könnte 14-16 Fuß für kleinere Objekte und 40+ Fuß für größere Objekte sein. Wir berücksichtigen auch die Art und Anzahl der Docks, die die Immobilie hat. Diese können Grade Level sein, wo sich der Parkplatz und der Lagerboden auf der gleichen Ebene befinden, bis hin zur Semi-Dock-Höhe bei 24 Zoll, was der Höhe eines Pickups oder Lieferwagens entspricht, oder ein Full-Dock bei 48 Zoll, was der Höhe eines Semi-Lkw entspricht. Einige Gebäude können sogar über einen Schienensporn verfügen, damit Eisenbahnwaggons be- und entladen werden können. Einzelhandel/Restaurant - Diese Kategorie umfasst Pad-Standorte an Straßenfronten, Einzelmieter-Einkaufszentren, kleine Einkaufszentren in der Nachbarschaft, größere Zentren mit Ankermietern von Lebensmittelgeschäften, "Power Center" mit großen Ankermärkten wie Best Buy, PetSmart, OfficeMax und so weiter, sogar regionale und Outlet-Malls. Mehrfamilienhäuser - Diese Kategorie umfasst Wohnanlagen oder Hochhäuser. Im Allgemeinen wird alles, was größer als ein Fourplex ist, als gewerbliche Immobilie betrachtet.
