Starlight Thursdays Episode 317. Welcome Sketchy House to the show! This week's mix comes straight off the snowcat. We caught Sketchy House live on the Disco Carrot at Blimp Fest, and the set was too good not to share. Pure energy from start to finish, recorded in the open air with the crowd right there. I met Sketchy House 11 years ago while i was DJing in a Yurt next to Blodgett canyon. It was my first time DJing in Montana. I was out here couch surfing, learning how to back country ski, him and his brother rolled up to the DJ booth and asked if they could jump on the decks. I think he was like 12 years old to be honest and i was a little taken back. They assured me they knew what they were doing. The party was chill vibes and I didn't think there was much harm in taking a chance sharing the stage so I agreed. The two of them ripped it up! I mean he was finger drumming samples while the other was mixing tracks then they'd switch. I was floored! People on the dance floor were matching the energy, really throwing down, hands in the air and yelling their names! I'll never forget it. Sketchy House is a prime example of how a kid from the Bitterroot can shake a party up if you give him the chance. It doesn't matter where you're from or how old you are if you have an ear for mixing, a love for music, with some training on the decks you can move people and Sketchy House is living proof of that! -BK Love_ Starlight Thursdays keeps us moving every week, With fresh artists, Exclusive recordings from the top venues and festivals statewide. This is Montanas largest collection of underground DJ Mixes. Hit play, turn it up, and pass it on. You can stream this show on SoundCloud, YouTube, YouTube music and Apple Podcasts (ad free and free downloading for offline listening) Let us handle the airwaves on your next road trip, workout or living room dance party! Starlight Thursdays pairs well with sunrises, all phases of the moon, sunsets, hot or cold days, lonely nights, mixed drinks and pizza. Most listeners experience euphoria, nostalgia and sudden urge to move their bodies to the repetitive kick drum often found in these recordings. Starlight Reunion and its supporting DJs wont be held responsible for moving your body however this side FX will likely occur when listening to Starlight Thursdays an if dat happens just know you ain't alone cuz we is doing dis too, even if I ain't right next to ya I'm likely bustin a move to deez beats yo. Some say i have an addiction to this while others know that to be the truth. Meet me at the next beat lovers anonymous sesh, first step is half the battle, lost track after that….

In this wild Neph to America episode, David Lee Corbo (The Raven) and guest co-host Matthew Heppner (Straight Bible host, Standard Coffee Shop/NDS Studios owner) step in after Top Lobsta literally sh*ts his pants and bails mid-show. Nancy joins for chaotic vibes while they roast everything from declining kid skills to end-times madness. They break down shocking stats: nearly 1/3 of kids can't use books (they swipe like phones), 28% can't eat or drink independently, and 25% lack basic life skills — tying it to fatherlessness in the Black community, Charlie Kirk debates, and how 90s rap (Tupac, Ludacris) once called out internal issues before victimhood took over. Plus Eminem bars, wigger culture confessions, and why chivalry died.Met Gala madness: Katy Perry's beekeeper outfit with alleged 6-finger Nephilim glove (satanic transhumanist agenda?), Lady Gaga crotch bulge rumors, and a wheeled-out trans influencer that leaves them speechless.Deep dive into Perry Stone's urgent warning to pastors: prepare your people for massive UFO/alien disclosure — non-human crafts, materials not from Earth, reptilian-looking hybrids from underground (not spaceships). They connect it to Book of Revelation beasts (Therion), Ezekiel's living creatures, Deuteronomy's “beasts of the field,” Kevin Zadai's interdimensional beings, Matt Gaetz hybridizing claims, and J.D. Vance “demons or aliens.”Bonus rabbit holes: Harlequin babies mistaken for reptilians, lost airship/blimp technology (only 20-25 left worldwide), Bohemian Grove tickets now on sale, AI Indian mermaid drama, Mother Horse Eyes series, and the insane John C. Lilly story — his assistant Margaret Lovatt living 24/7 with dolphin Peter, the LSD experiments, and the tragic “suicide” after their “close encounters.”They also touch Christian community drama, swearing vs. cursing in the Bible, and why the show's “terrible” reputation still produces Straight Bible fruit.Support the squad:Patreon.com/NephilimDeathSquad – early episodes, ad-free, private chats, Bohemian Grove ticketsTopLobster.com – merch + event ticketsNephilim Death Squad on all platforms Subscribe, drop a like if you want more unfiltered Nephilim talk, and comment your wildest theory below. WOW, what a wild journey we've been on together! This was Disco Carrot's first music festival as a sound system. We brought it out to Blimp Fest in 2025, but it was set up as a lounge and wasn't built out yet. Here we are a year later, and the rig is now the centerpiece of the event. I couldn't be more proud of the team and feel so honored to jump on the decks closing the stage out. In this mix you'll hear a span of music ranging from Afro House to Techno, with vocals straight from Jamaica to the Middle East, France to the States. I hope you enjoy listening to this as much as I did playing it. What a vibe… Love y'all! BK Love

The Rizzuto Show proudly presents another episode that somehow starts with the Hindenburg disaster and ends with Bob Seger rankings, proving once again that this funny podcast is held together with duct tape, caffeine, and questionable decision-making.Rizz and the gang kick things off talking about local BMX hero and X Games champion Zack Warden ahead of the Show Me BMX Jam at Four Hands. What begins as a wholesome STL success story immediately spirals into everyone remembering how they once thought they could do BMX tricks before realizing gravity exists and hospital bills are expensive. Then things take a historical turn when the crew revisits the legendary Hindenburg disaster broadcast from 1937. The original radio coverage still hits like a truck, and the gang breaks down why hearing genuine emotion on-air was such a massive moment in broadcasting history. Somehow this turns into a discussion about how modern media has basically turned everybody into full-time catastrophe consumers. So… uplifting stuff.Elsewhere in this daily podcast, Lern's mom desperately searches New York City for Mick Jagger while accidentally missing him entirely, the crew debates whether concert ticket prices have officially become criminal activity, and everyone collectively roasts the Missouri State Fair lineup while Illinois quietly flexes on them with a way better roster. Sorry, Missouri. We still love you. Mostly. The gang also dives into misunderstood songs that people somehow turned into wedding classics despite the lyrics being deeply depressing. Turns out “Every Breath You Take” is not romantic, “Semi-Charmed Life” is very much about meth, and “Angel” by Sarah McLachlan absolutely ruined animal shelter commercials forever.Lern introduces the show to Castle Rat — a medieval fantasy doom metal band featuring chainmail, underboob armor, plague doctors, and enough theatrical nonsense to immediately earn the crew's respect. Honestly, if your band doesn't have a dedicated Rat Queen at this point, what are you even doing? Then it's time for a full-on Bob Seger birthday celebration as the crew debates his greatest songs, from “Night Moves” to “Against the Wind” to the inescapable wedding anthem “Old Time Rock and Roll.” Rafe practically turns into a Bob Seger historian while everyone else realizes they know way more Seger songs than they thought. You'll also get Seinfeld episode rankings, AMC's bizarre new live concert theater experiment, Anthony Bourdain movie talk, celebrity chaos, weird news, hilarious fails, and approximately 47 moments that would absolutely confuse anyone listening out of context. In other words: a completely normal episode of your favorite daily comedy show and your favorite comedy podcast from St. Louis.Follow The Rizzuto Show → linktr.ee/rizzshow for more from your favorite daily comedy show.Connect with The Rizzuto Show Comedy Podcast online → 1057thepoint.com/RizzShow.Hear The Rizz Show daily on the radio at 105.7 The Point | Hubbard Radio in St. Louis, MO.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.

On episode 142 of the Director Watch Podcast, co-hosts Ryan McQuade and Jay Ledbetter are joined by film critic Bilge Ebiri discuss the latest film in their Powell and Pressburger series, The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp (1943). Welcome back to Director Watch! On this AwardsWatch podcast, the boys attempt to breakdown, analyze, and ultimately, get inside the mind of some of cinema's greatest auteurs. In doing so, they will look at their filmographies, explore what drives them artistically and what makes their decision making process so fascinating. Add in a few silly tangents and a fun game at the end of the episode and you've got yourself a podcast we truly hope you love. The latest film in the boy's P&P series is a showcase of when filmmakers don't go for propaganda, and instead try to tell a version of their own truth. During WWII, the filmmaking duo did films for audience's tailor-made to provoke the political agenda of their country. For The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp, they take a look inward at their own countrymen and system and how destructive is has been on the war as much as the enemies they are fighting across Europe, even making our protagonists best friend a German character, causing uproar about the inclusion of someone for whom the world was morally against. In doing this, they created one of their defining masterpieces where their thesis lies in someone who has given their whole life to fighting for their country, all for their wisdom and talent to be washed away as a new generation rises up, a brilliant work. Ryan, Jay, and Bilge break down their thoughts on the film, laserdisc physical media, the idea on romance at the heart of our main trio, showing no violence in a war picture, the films ending, and much more. You can listen to the Director Watch Podcast wherever you stream podcasts, from iTunes, iHeartRadio, Soundcloud, Stitcher, Spotify, Audible, Amazon Music and more. You can also listen on the AW YouTube page. This podcast runs 2h33m. The guys will be back next week to continue their series on the films of Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger with a review of their next film, I Know Where I'm Going. You can rent it via iTunes and Amazon Prime rental in preparation for the next episode of Director Watch. Till then, let's get into it. Music: MUSICALIFE, from Pond5 (intro) and "B-3" from BoxCat Games Nameless: The Hackers RPG Soundtrack (outro).
On May 6, 1937, the hydrogen filled zeppelin known as the Hindenburg exploded as it was landing in New Jersey. Surprisingly, 62 of the 97 people on board survived. Experts still argue as to what caused an airship the size of the Titanic to be destroyed in approximately 34 seconds.
Feliks Banel's guests on this BONUS EPISODE of CASCADE OF HISTORY are Rita Welch, director of the Tillamook Air Museum in Tillamook, Oregon and museum curator Christian Gurling. The Tillamook Air Museum is located in a World War II blimp hangar, the roof of which was badly damaged in a windstorm in December 2025. The museum - which is located on the Oregon Coast roughly 90 minutes by car from Portland, Oregon - remains closed. The hangar, which was built by the U.S. Navy in 1942, belongs to the Port of Tillamook Bay. As Rita Welch and Christian Gurling explain in this conversation recorded on Friday, February 27, 2026, addressing the damage and the future of the hangar is a complex and very expensive proposition - and much fundraising will be required. In this episode we revisit three Technicolor melodramas made by British cinema's great auteur duo Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger, bursting with vibrant emotions and sensuality that exercise a dangerous allure over their protagonists: Clive Candy, the upper-class colonialist twerp played by Roger Livesey in The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp (1943) who discovers the poetry in his soul thanks to the influence of three in-Kerr-nations of Deborah Kerr and the friendship of Anton Walbrook; Sister Clodagh (Kerr again) in Black Narcissus (1947), futilely pitting the Protestant work ethic against the infinite; and Victoria Page (Moira Shearer) in The Red Shoes (1948), torn between the demands of art and mere humanity. And in Fear and Moviegoing in Toronto, more Naruse: Flowing (1956), a study of a declining geisha house through the perspective of Kinuyo Tanaka's kindly but powerless servant, and The Stranger Within a Woman (1966), a film noir about being consumed by guilt while the world just wants you to move on. Hopefully we can help you get through the holiday season and this FULL-LENGTH movie somehow from TWO THOUSAND AND TWENTY-THREE with our episode covering the animated feature Urkel Saves Santa: The Movie!. Alex Diamond, David Kenny, and John McDaniel heard that the long-running network sitcom Family Matters ends with side character Steve Urkel going to space. And the best way to figure out how that happened - obviously - was to watch the last episode first and make our way backwards through nearly ten years of television. In 1942, a U.S. Navy blimp embarked on a routine patrol off the coast of San Francisco—but hours later the blimp came crashing down in nearby Daly City. Its radios were working, engines were running, and life jackets were still on board, but the crew had seemingly vanished without a trace. To this day, their whereabouts are still unknown. Send us a textPeaches is back with another scathing ops brief—this time dragging the DoD for everything from mystery missiles and “indefinite quantity” contracts (yeah, that's real) to billion-dollar Iron Dome knockoffs. From Space Force promotions to “near-miss” B-52s and the Pentagon handing OpenAI a $200M AI war chest, this episode dives deep into the weird, the wild, and the “we're definitely not overfunded” chaos of 2025. Also: the real reason the Air Force hit their recruiting goals early (spoiler: they didn't). Oh, and yes, Tim Kennedy's name comes up... brace yourselves.
