On this episode, we go big, with none other than Glen “Big Baby” Davis. Coming up as a manchild from Louisiana, Big Baby proved he could hoop with his unique combination of size and mobility. When he got to the pro level, he quickly figured out that to really make it, he’d have to use his unorthodox makeup to find his place in the league. Thankfully, he landed on a Boston team that was in win-now mode, and demanded its role players to get in where they fit in. For Gil, Big Baby was exactly the kind of guy you want on your roster -- does whatever he has to do for the team to win, doesn’t back down and will shine in his role. From there, Baby knew how to have fun and be himself. That Boston team had the big three, but they also had a team of personalities that became a brotherhood. That’s winning culture. There haven’t been too many players like Big Baby, and looking at what he’s done with basketball, he definitely deserves some more shine. Oh man Oh man not again The Subject 2 Change crew IS BACK with another banger! Jordan's practice ran late but I (yes, Osh writes all these descriptions) stepped in and co-hosted the podcast with Tom and our incredibly DOPE guest GLEN BIG BABY DAVIS. I am not lying to you when I tell you this episode is incredible. Big Baby came in hot right out the gates talking about playing NBA ball at 320 pounds and how he plans to shed the weight, get a six pack and re-brand as Big Sexy Baby.... I'll believe it when I see it… Anyways, we continued talking weight and argued if James Harden was fat or skinny. What do you think? Either way, Davis thinks Kyrie is gonna need to be the X Factor if the Nets are getting a chip, but only time can tell on that one. Glen Davis shared some epic stories about KG, the Celtics and Kobe before talking about the future stars of the league. He believes Lamelo Ball could be THE ONE and Zion has to stay healthy and keep the weight down if he wants to go down as one of the greats. Did you know Big Baby was hella into MMA? We talked all about fighting, Jake Paul, Nate Robinson, Lamar Odom, and who would be a good match in the ring for Davis himself? Big Hint - HE WANTS TO FIGHT SHAQ Damn. What a dope episode. Maybe I should just replace Jordan full time. Whatchyall think?

President Donald J. Trump Invites African American Stars to White House after Heart-to-Heart Conversation Los Angeles - November 1, 2020 – A prominent group of African American actors and entertainers have accepted President Donald J. Trump’s invitation to visit the White House in December to work together on important issues facing the Black Community. In a late-night night phone call with the President Saturday night, rappers Eric B. and Money-B, actor Isaiah Washington, who are among the stars in Trump vs. Hollywood, and film director Daphne Barak, all agreed to continue their discussion of economic opportunity, criminal justice reform and the President’s groundbreaking “Platinum Plan” to deliver greater opportunity, security, prosperity and fairness to their communities. “Thirty years ago I had a conversation with Donald Trump and he told me never to be afraid to hire the best people in business, even if they have more experience than me,” said rap pioneer Eric B., a lifelong Democrat. “And that conversation has shaped my business decisions ever since. I am pleased that President Trump is willing to have this uncomfortable conversation about how we can help the black community close the wealth gap.” “President Trump took the time to get on the phone with us after a long day with four campaign rallies and I took that to mean he cares about our concerns,” said Money-B. “It’s refreshing, and a good beginning. We want to get to work.” “I know firsthand what the Fake News media can do to a person, and I see what they keep trying to do to President Trump,” said Isaiah Washington. “I’m now solidly with President Trump and I’m liking what I’m seeing in the results already.” “We filmed a documentary in real time during the pandemic, and with so much going on from the coronavirus to George Floyd, we wanted to hear from both sides of the political spectrum,” said film executive producer and director Daphne Barak. “We spoke with a variety of celebrities and a common theme among many was “Can we just talk?” We are pleased that President Trump took time from his packed schedule to talk and listen. All people on the call felt that he really wants to have an open conversation with the Black community.” The artists had just completed a sneak preview of Barak’s documentary, Trump vs. Hollywood, which is an examination of the divisions in America and an attempt to bring opposing ideologies together for a long-overdue civil discussion. Barak interviewed 24 Hollywood stars, musicians, rappers and notable figures from both sides of the political spectrum during the pandemic about their candid feelings regarding President Trump and America. In addition to Eric B., Money-B, Isaiah Washington, and Glen “Big Baby” Davis, who was unable to join Saturday’s call but will be joining the White House meeting in December, Trump vs. Hollywood includes: musician Kid Rock, vocalist Andrea Bocelli, actor Scott Baio, actor Dean Cain, actor Robert Davi, actress Kristy Swanson, actor Kevin Sorbo, actress and author Sam Sorbo, musician Ted Nugent, actor Eric Roberts, actress and casting director Eliza Roberts, director Brett Ratner, rapper Too Short (who has also been invited to the December meeting), producer Avi Lerner, Hollywood lawyer Mark Geragos, actor and reality star Claudia Jordan, actor and reality star Lorenzo Lamas, radio host Bill Whittle, and comedian DeRay Davis. Trump vs. Hollywood premieres on December 14 across streaming platforms including Amazon, Apple TV, and Google. For a limited time, ahead of the election, a sneak preview of Trump vs. Hollywood is available for rent on Vimeo. This week, the fellas are joined by the one and only Glen “Big Baby” Davis. In this laughter-filled ep, Big Baby details how nasty he was on the football field as a 330-pound eighth grader. He even had Nick Saban recruiting him to play college ball. Davis explains why he chose basketball over football, and then gets into his time at LSU, which included a surprise run to the Final Four. The guys then ask him about the time he body-slammed Shaq, and Baby talks about the influence Shaq had on him growing up. The discussion then moves on to Davis’s years in Boston — Baby tells a hilarious story about missing his first team bus. He also gets into what it was like to learn from the Celtics Big 3: KG, Ray, and Paul, and talks about the effect each of them had on his career. Q then recalls a certain Secret Santa story from when he and Davis were teammates in Orlando. Big Baby details the rest of his NBA journey, and discusses the differences between each of the cities he played. Finally, you’ll want to make sure you see Big Baby’s BBQ “advertisement,” as well as find out what he did when he first made real money.

Glen Big Baby Davis is allegedly the plug, and he's not afraid to tell you about it from the world's smallest plane next to a briefcase filled with 20s. The first weekend of the Tournament is over and Tyler is truly upset that his Kentucky Wildcats don't have any top seeds in their way to get to the Final Four. It's a real shame. Piggybacking off Wither's tweet about the inside car light being illegal whilst driving, we try and remember other rumors that got spread nationwide before the internet was a thing.
Ray Allen is coming out with a book next month that nearly absolves himself of any sort of blame in his ongoing rift with his former Celtics teammates. Can you imagine what the CSL guys had to say? Well, Jon "Doc Brown" Duke and Justin "Marty McFly" Poulin jumped back into the Delorean to talk about the 2008 Celtics and Ray Allen's inability to accept nearly any blame in this high school drama. Not to be left out, Glen "Big Baby" Davis was in the news thanks to his arrest for selling a decent amount of marijuana. This lead to Jon and Justin talking about how mental health is handled in today's game and whether being honest provides opponents with a competitive advantage. To wrap, Jon and Justin looked at the copious injuries that have hit the Celtics within the last week and whether the team should extend itself at all to attempt to get a higher playoff seeding.
