On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by Brighton fan Sam Murray and Aston Villa fan Lee Jackson, with both teams still in the FA Cup, competing for a Champions League place and both could have a Double in Gameweek 33. And for Villa they have a Champions League Quarter Final which makes their FPL assets particular difficult to assess with a juicy fixture at Southampton between the games with PSG. And Brighton could well appeal then to as they host Leicester, but are they liable for rotation too. There's coverage of defensive assets from both, the likes of Yankubah Minteh, Kaoru Mitoma, Marco Asensio and Marcus Rashford, plus talismen Joao Pedro and Ollie Watkins as well as the seemingly rotation proof Morgan Rogers. And three's coverage of goals for the rest of the season, the importance of the FA Cup, form, fixtures and more. Kaoru Mitoma likes playing against Bournemouth, and on Tuesday night we travel to Falmer with the aim of keeping the Japanese star quiet. Whilst Brighton have a number of stars that can cause mischief, it's the Seagulls' number 22 that has often been the thorn in Cherries' side recently, so can a Zabarnyi-less Boscombe prevent the in-form striker from influencing the game? There were some big games at the top of tables this weekend, featuring draws, some wins, and a lot of missed chances. Musa and Ryan begin with Juventus' crucial 1-0 win over Inter in the Derby d'Italia (03:20), which came as a huge relief to Napoli, who dropped points for the third game in a row. They then head to Leverkusen, who were frustrated by Bayern and held to a goalless draw, which hindered their title hopes (09:25), before dropping in on La Liga, where both Real Madrid and Atleti went down to 10 men and dropped points (14:44). Finally, they head to the Premier League (22:38), where Kaoru Mitoma scored a goal-of-the-season contender; Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City won at the top of the table; and there was more Moyes magic and a much-needed win for Spurs against Manchester United. It's another meeting of 'rivals' on Clash of the Correspondents as James is joined by Brighton fan Sam Murray and Crystal Palace fan Ruaidhri McLoughlin-Dowd to discuss the latest at their clubs, expectations, performance and the FPL assets at the clubs ahead of Sunday's meeting at The Amex. Brighton are 7th but it feels like it could have been so much better after a couple of weeks that has included dropped points after being ahead against Southampton and Leicester. Is consistency likely to hold them back in a bid to qualify for Europe. Palace meanwhile are 17th, but of the 6 teams cut adrift at the foot of the table the feeling from most is that they're far better than their placing suggests. it's 1 defeat in in 7, or 1 win in 6, depending on how you want to look at it. Plus there's discussion on FPL assets, with comparisons of players at the clubs, including Dean Henderson v Bart Verbuggen and Kaoru Mitoma v Ebe Eze. There's also focus on Joao Pedro, cheaper midfielders and the best choices from the backlines, with The Seagulls in the middle of a great run, and a positive turn of fixtures is only around the corner for The Eagles. Sam Murray joins James to discuss the summer changes at Brighton with Roberto De Zerbi replaced by Fabian Hürzeler, who at 31 becomes the Premier League's youngest ever permanent manager. The Podcast includes discussion on what we can expect tactically from the new man in charge. And there's plenty of FPL discussion which includes interest in new attacker Yankubah Minteh who may thrill from the right and is attainable at 5.5, the same price as the popular Joao Pedro, but will the forward prove his fitness ahead of Gameweek 1? And the brilliant Kaoru Mitoma (6.5) is back fit, but largely being ignored. Perhaps that's because of a difficult fixture schedule which sees The Seagulls play 7 of last season's top 8 in the opening 11 gameweeks, but week 4 & 5 are very attractive with home fixtures against Ipswich and Nottingham Forest, a period that looks perfect to field 4.0 defender Valentin Barco, who if he does well is likely to make interest in any of the rest of the defensive assets at 4.5 undesirable. But maybe only from the start. On Clash of the Correspondents James is joined by West Ham fan Chris Stone and Brighton fan Sam Murray to discuss all the latest at their clubs ahead of their GW20 meeting in East London and both clubs are still to play tonight in GW19. Jarrod Bowen is currently FPL's 5th highest scoring player but will the departure of Mohammed Kudus to AFCON mean Bowen moves back to the right? Should they be a concern for owners or those intending to invest? Or is he likely to be a popular captaincy choice in GW21 at Sheffield United? Brighton just wish they had players who could play wide, with Kaoru Mitoma and Simon Adingra added to a lengthy injury list. Could 4.7 midfielder Facundo Buonanotte step up or is the multi talented Pascal Gross a better investment? Could Jooa Pedro now see increased minutes in a wider role? Both teams have attractive long-term fixtures and don't play again in the Europa League until March. Enablers such as Alphonse Areola and Jan Paul Van Hecke are also covered, but both have struggled for clean sheets; could that be about to change? And for Brighton, the popular Pervis Estupinan is back...
