You Could Have Been a Lady". En 1979, elBBC lanzó In Concert para distribución internacional; En 1981, Aquarius lanzó otro álbum recopilatorio, The Best of April Wine Rock Ballads . El álbum incluía los sencillos "Enough is Enough", "If You See Kay" y "Anything You Want, You Got It". Mientras tanto, varios sellos lanzaron varios álbumes recopilatorios. En 2004, Silverline lanzó el primer DVD-A de April Wine llamado From the Front Row ... Live! .

Stamford Chidge & Jonathan Kydd are joined by Mark Meehan to look back at Chelsea's 2000-2001 season. In part two we pick up the story in the New Year with a 1-0 victory over Aston Villa at home on New Years' Day. Behind the scenes there was still unrest with Captain Dennis Wise and 'keeper Ed de Goey dropped. Wise, unhappy about being frequently played out of position put in a transfer request while de Goey was consigned to the bench and replaced by Carlo Cudicini for the rest of the season. New signing Jesper Gronkjaer made a big impression with goals and assists against Gillingham in the FA Cup and Newcastle and running Gary Neville ragged in the 1:1 draw against Man Utd at home. Of Ranieri's first signing, Slovisa Jokanovic, the less said the better, Pitted against bogey side Arsenal at Highbury in the FA Cup 5th round, two Wiltord goals in 11 minutes meant that Chelsea would not be at a cup semi-final or better for the first time since 1993. Chelsea's home form was good, but their away form terrible, evidenced by their first away win for a year coming against West Ham in March. Ultimately it was to damage their chances of a top 3 finish, although defeat to Sunderland and Charlton at home and an away defeat to Leeds Utd, their rivals for a top 3 finish, put the final nail in the coffin. Victories over Everton and Man City and a creditable draw away to Liverpool was enough to secure 6th place and qualification for next season's UEFA Cup, however, the season remained a massive disappointment with the sacking of well-loved Vialli whose name was chanted throughout the season and especially at bizarre decisions from Ranieri. To this should be added the early exit from the cup competitions; the injuries to Di Matteo and Stanic and the general feeling that many of the players wanted away. In fact, the greatest disappointment was the realisation that the team of the 90's was breaking up with the departures of Vialli, Petrescu, Di Matteo and Flo gone and Poyet, Leboeuf and Wise soon to depart, along with Zola apparently wanting to return to Italy. Chelsea was a team in transition and that meant the dream of winning the league title was perhaps further away than ever. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

“Transplant” follows the story of Dr. Bashir “Bash” Hamed (Hamza Haq), a talented doctor and Syrian refugee, who fled his war-torn country with his younger sister Amira (Sirena Gulamgaus) for a fresh start in Canada. After a truck crashes into the restaurant where he's been working, Bash earns the chance to practice medicine again by using his field-honed skills to save multiple lives in brilliant fashion, including that of Dr. Jed Bishop (John Hannah), the Chief of Emergency Medicine at York Memorial Hospital in Toronto. But Bash is told he'll need to redo his residency in Emergency Medicine from the bottom, and despite his obvious talents, intuition, and training, starting over is not an easy road and his life experience is not a perfect match for the strict protocols at York Memorial. Through perseverance he makes inroads, developing camaraderie with his new colleagues, including the driven Dr. Magalie “Mags” LeBlanc (Laurence Leboeuf).

Synopsis On today's date in 1929, the Italian composer Ottorino Respighi capped his trilogy of symphonic tone poems based on Roman scenery and history with the premiere performance of his “Roman Festivals.” Unlike the first two installments, “The Fountains of Rome” and “The Pines of Rome,” which were both premiered in Rome by Italian orchestras, “Roman Festivals” premiered in America at Carnegie Hall, with the New York Philharmonic conducted by Arturo Toscanini. “All three of the compositions are [full of] brilliant instrumental effects,” wrote music critic Olin Downes in his New York Times review the following day. “'Roman Festivals' however, fairly caps the climax for sheer orchestral sonority … The first part … is really wild and brutal music, the dramatic idea being the howls and cries of the crowd at the Circus Maximus, the salutations for Nero, the opening of the iron gates and the roaring of beasts, the hymn of the Christians about to be slaughtered... The passage is short, but of a stunning power." But Olin Downes ended his review with a Nero-esque thumbs-down: "All this program material furnishes Mr. Respighi opportunity for descriptive writing,” concludes the review, “but the music is of no merit.” Music Played in Today's Program Ottorino Resphigi (1879 — 1936) — Roman Festivals (Philadelphia Orchestra; Riccardo Muti, cond.) In today's episode, we cover anger management with Dr. Isabelle Leboeuf and Chris Fraser. Dr. Leboeuf integrates hypnotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and compassion-focused therapy in her private practice in the North of France. Chris has been helping children, individuals, and families to be the best versions of themselves for over 25 years, and co-authored the book Freedom: How Teens Can Use Mindful Compassion to Thrive in a Chaotic World and Grow a Purpose-driven Life. Anger is an emotion we all experience throughout life, but how we respond to it makes all the difference in the world, so what even is anger, how should we look at it, and what are some healthy strategies for dealing with intense emotions like anger? What to Listen For Relationship between self-compassion and anger – 2:06 Is there a difference between the anger we feel toward others versus the anger we feel toward ourselves? Healthy strategies to process and work through anger – 11:00 What exercises should you use to work through anger and what should you avoid doing when you're angry? What is the difference between compassion and self-compassion? What three words can you tell yourself to alleviate strong feelings of anger or frustration you're experiencing? Is self-compassion just being easy on yourself? – 20:25 What are the three components of self-compassion? Defining and discovering core values – 29:00 How can you use negative and positive emotions to help you figure out what your core values are? Learning from compassion-focused therapy – 35:18 What can you learn from compassion-focused therapy to equip you with the tools to better handle intense emotional states so you don't do something in the moment that you'll regret? A full human life is arguably one in which you experience the entire spectrum of human emotions, positive and negative. Negative in this case can be interpreted as the opposite of what we think of as positive emotions, but it doesn't mean a negative emotion is bad or should be avoided. As a society, we generally look down on or seek to avoid negative emotions such as anger and frustration, which can then lead us to not teach kids how to properly manage their anger. And a lack of anger management within an entire population will spell disaster for an entire generation that is not equipped to process and deal with their emotions in a healthy manner. You wouldn't expect a VP of Marketing to be proficient in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop — spending time on graphic design isn't the best use of their time. It's the same thing with audio and video editing. On episode 11 of Overthink, Ellie and David discuss the ways in which Zoom has impacted our perception of the self and others. They begin by exploring the blurred lines of privacy that Zoom offers (who among us hasn't cut their video feed to do a load of laundry?). Next, the two jump into the impact self-view has had on all of us now that we are able to see ourselves conduct our normal lives, tying it to Lacan's mirror stage. Plus, they discuss disability theorists and the potential benefits that Zoom has for inclusion and accessibility.  Interested In the works discussed? Paul Virilio, Open Sky Jean-Paul Sartre, Being and Nothingness Simone de Beauvoir, The Second SexEllie Anderson, “You're Not Staring at Yourself on Zoom, You're Judging Yourself”Jacques Lacan, "The Mirror Stage as Formative of the I Function"Céline LeBoeuf, "Anatomy of the Thigh Gap"Iris Marion Young, "Throwing Like a Girl"Zoe Beery “When the World Shut Down, They Saw it Open”danah boyd, "Profiles as Conversation: Networked Identity Performance on Friendster" Website | overthinkpodcast.comInstagram & Twitter | @overthink_podEmail |  Dearoverthink@gmail.comYouTube | Overthink podcast
