Silver Range Resources CEO Mike Power joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share encouraging exploration results from short exploration programs conducted at the Cambridge Property in Lyon County and the Sniper Property in Esmeralda County, Nevada. At the Cambridge Property, Power reported that reconnaissance underground investigations revealed that exposed stopes in the area of recent excavator trenching were partially backfilled by spoil during excavation. It appears that the upper portions of the mine might be accessible with limited underground rehabilitation. Additionally, mineralization was discovered in a subordinate footwall vein splay, oblique to the main Cambridge Vein. Grab samples from a 15 cm exposure of this vein returned impressive results of 7.61 g/t Au and 52.1 g/t Au. Meanwhile, at the Sniper Property, a short Packsack diamond drill hole in the north wall of a small pit returned 2.30 meters at 2.10 g/t Au and 55.3 g/t Ag from the surface, with mineralization open at depth. The Sniper Property is located on the north flank of Gold Mountain. The area is characterized by ribbon-banded quartz veins containing pyrite, galena, tetrahedrite, and secondary chrysocolla and wulfenite, present in the carapace of a Jurassic intrusion just below the contact with overlying Precambrian Wyman formation metasediments. Initial sampling by Silver Range at the Sniper Property showed high gold and silver grades. Out of 14 samples, seven returned assays greater than 5 g/t Au, and five samples returned assays greater than 20 g/t Au, with a peak value of 121 g/t Au. Silver assays ranged from 0.2 to 1,375 g/t Ag, with three samples assaying greater than 100 g/t Ag. The property appears to have been initially explored with small adits and shafts before the 1980s. Between 1978 and 1983, these were partially covered or obliterated by bulldozer during exploration and high-grading. The Sniper Property is one of many small mines and prospects in the Tokop Mining District, which have produced sporadically or intermittently since 1866. These exploration results underscore the potential for significant mineralization at both the Cambridge and Sniper properties, enhancing Silver Range Resources' prospects for future development and production. #proactiveinvestors #silverrangeresourcesltd #tsxv #sng #mining #gold #MiningExploration #GoldMining #SilverMining #CambridgeProperty #SniperProperty #LyonCounty #EsmeraldaCounty #NevadaMining #GoldDiscovery #MineralExploration #HighGradeGold #UndergroundWorkings #MiningProjects #CapitalRaising #GoldQuartz #Geochemistry #MiningInvestment #GoldNuggets #EconomicMinerals #ResourceDevelopment #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Naomi Irion body recovered Authorities discovered the remains of an 18-year-old northern Nevada woman who was kidnapped over two weeks ago, officials said. The Lyon County sheriff's office said late Wednesday that investigators acting on a tip about the disappearance of Naomi Irion found a gravesite in a remote part of northern Nevada on Tuesday. An autopsy on Wednesday confirmed the body was Irion, the sheriff said in a statement. Earlier Wednesday, a 41-year-old man with a violent criminal record was charged with first-degree kidnapping. A judge in rural Lyon County left Troy Driver's bail unchanged during a brief court hearing Wednesday. It had been set at $750,000 after his Friday arrest. Driver, of Fernley, has yet to enter a plea. He was arraigned from jail Wednesday via Zoom. Justice of the Peace Lori Matheus said Driver will have to wear a GPS monitoring device if he posts a bond. Driver has been held at the Lyon County Jail in Yerington as a suspect in what authorities say was Irion's kidnapping. She was last seen around 5:25 a.m. March 12 in her car in a Walmart parking lot in Fernley about 30 miles (48 kilometers) east of Reno. Security video showed a masked man wearing a hooded sweatshirt get into her car. Driver abducted her "on or about March 12" and "did hold or detain her for the purpose of committing sexual assault and/or purpose of killing her," according to the two-page criminal complaint filed Wednesday in Lyon County's Canal Township Justice Court. The FBI offered a $10,000 reward for information to locate Irion. Hundreds of volunteers have joined searches during the past two weeks, looking for clues in a vast desert area. Irion lived in Fernley with her older brother, Casey Valley, who told reporters after the hearing that the family was "all in shock" that any bail was set. Irion's vehicle was found three days after she went missing near a paint manufacturing facility in an industrial park along Interstate 80 not far from the store. Valley said earlier his sister usually catches a bus from the Walmart lot to work at a Reno-area Panasonic facility. Valley said she never arrived at work and he contacted family members and authorities when Irion didn't return home that weekend. Matheus set a court date for Driver next Tuesday, and a preliminary hearing April 12 to decide if there is evidence for Driver to be tried in state court. He could face life in prison without parole if he is convicted. His defense lawyer, Mario Walther, did not immediately respond to requests for comment following the hearing. Several news outlets have reported that Driver was sentenced to 15 years in prison for his role in a 1997 murder case in Northern California. Mendocino County Court records show he pleaded guilty that summer to robbery, burglary and firearms charges as well as to being an accessory to a felony after the fact. California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation spokeswoman Dana Simas said in an email to The Associated Press he was sentenced to 15 years on those charges on Aug. 19, 1997, was released to state parole supervision in 2012 and discharged from parole supervision in 2014. Before authorities announced that her body had been identified, Valley told reporters Wednesday that family members appreciate the support from the community and praised efforts by sheriff's deputies and federal agents to find his sister. "Lyon County and the FBI are working very hard," he said. "I wish there was more and everybody does." ___ --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/otcpod1/support

Today we are doing something new- at the end of 2021, we got the opportunity to visit Morgan Farms, a newly formed non-profit located in Wellsville, KS.  My husband and I drove there on an unseasonably warm day in early December.  Jason Klepac, the founder, and owner, was hosting an open house and invited the Guns and Yoga Podcast for a tour and opportunity to speak with some of the first responders in attendance.  As our two-and-a-half-hour drive came to an end, and we got closer to Morgan Farms, I started to feel more at ease. Less cars, more space, less people more trees, less noise more quiet.  When we arrived, the tour was just starting; about 20 area first responders came from different parts of Kansas to learn more.  Jason is a former first responder and military veteran.  He and his wife, Shannon, have opened their home and their hearts, in service of those who serve.  Jason and Shannon have created something unique; a working farm on 40 acres. So, what is Morgan Farms? It is an opportunity to experience the beauty, peace, and calm.  Jason has created something really special.  We will talk with him and his wife in next week's episode, but for him, it's all about the people; the first responders and taking care of them in a unique way.  Not doing anything per se, but providing them the space, the environment to just be. Today, you will hear a mash up, or a series of short interviews with several first responders we did on location; Dawn Deterding, Jamie Davis, and Roxy VanGundy, who have a combined near 70 years of experience under the headset as dispatchers.  These ladies came from different parts of the state to visit Morgan Farms and speak with us today.  They all work for different agencies across the state, KC MO PD, Lee Summit Fire, and Lyon County.  They are committed to supporting their peers and work with agencies such as NENA National emergency number association and MARC the Mid America Regional Council to improve services and resources to dispatchers and other first responders. You will hear from them how valuable they feel Morgan Farms will be as a resource for their people. I also spoke with Lt. Dan Davis Belton PD and Matt Kelly, Captain Miami County Sheriff they are co-chairs for command level peer support with MARC. In these conversations you will hear about critical incidents, the impact of secondary trauma and the role that peer support can play in supporting dispatchers, law enforcement and all first responders. If you want increased feelings of calmness, need a change of scenery, want to increase endorphin levels, recharge, be less irritable, and possible reduce cortisol levels, the stress hormone association with excessive nervous system activation, then you should check our Morgan Farms. Next week when we hear from Jason and Shannon, we will discuss future plans for Morgan Farms, future programs, etc. The intuitive nature of horses and how they can help us understand more about ourselves and how we communicate with others. Nevada church seeks equal treatment

In today's News: Nevada church seeks equal treatment  Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys representing a church filed a petition with the U.S. Supreme court yesterday that asks it to declare Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak’s coronavirus restrictions on churches unconstitutional. For months, Sisolak allowed casinos to operate at 50 percent capacity while capping churches at 50 people. That meant a casino with capacity for 2,000 could host 1,000 gamblers, while a church with the same capacity could welcome only 50 worshipers. Although the governor’s newest order increased the cap, it continues the unequal treatment by allowing casinos and other secular establishments to operate at 50 percent capacity with no cap. A procedural rule allows Calvary Chapel Dayton Valley in rural Lyon County to ask the high court to weigh in even while its lawsuit moves forward at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit; the ordinary process could result in the church being subject to unconstitutional gathering restrictions for many additional months. Number of Christian voters declines  The share of registered voters in the United States who say they are Christian has declined by about 15 percent since 2008 while the number of religiously unaffiliated voters has nearly doubled, Pew Research Center data suggests. Pew drew the data from a balanced survey of more than 360,000 registered voters surveyed over a 25-year span that include over 12,000 voters questioned in 2018 and 2019. The data indicate that 64 percent of all registered voters surveyed in 2019 self-identified as Christian. That figure is down from 79 percent of registered voters surveyed in 2008 who identified themselves as followers of Christ. The study shows that the decline in registered Christian voters is most stark in the Democratic Party. In 2008, 73 percent of registered democrats identified as Christian. But by 2019, only 52 percent of Democrat voters said the same. Registered Republican voters have seemingly moved away from God at a slower rate, dropping from 87 percent Christian in 2008 to 79 percent Christian in 2019. In comparison, the number of religiously unaffiliated voters has almost doubled from 15 percent to 28 percent in the same years.  'Jesus' no, 'Black Lives Matter' yes  A Mississippi elementary school that allowed students to wear “Black Lives Matter” masks to slow the spread of the coronavirus pandemic ordered a third-grade girl to remove her “Jesus Loves Me” mask. On Monday, Alliance Defending Freedom filed a lawsuit defending her First Amendment rights. The third-grade pupil, Lydia Booth, aimed to peacefully share her Christian faith by wearing the “Jesus Loves Me” mask. She wore the mask without disruption or incident on Oct. 13, but the principal at her school demanded she remove and replace it. Two days later, Simpson County School District administrators announced a policy prohibiting masks that are “political, religious, sexual or inappropriate symbols, gestures or statements that may be offensive, disruptive or deemed distractive to the school environment.” According to the lawsuit, the school has allowed students to wear masks with the logos of local sports teams or even the political slogan “Black Lives Matter.”

Amin. (Dod).

In today's News: Lutheran Church Charities responds to storm Tropical Storm Cristobal moved up through the plains and into the Great Lakes region of northern Illinois and Indiana earlier this week. Multiple storms went through the region with a possible tornado, outbursts of 60-80 mph wind shear and strong thunderstorms. There have been many reports of downed trees, power lines, roof, and home damage in many communities. Lutheran Church Charities Director of Disaster Response Kathy O’day has and will continue to reach out to L.E.R.T. volunteers and churches and will begin assessments of damage to provide assistance to those affected while maintaining coronavirus safety precautions. Undercover journalist moves to dismiss charge Sandra Merritt filed a reply yesterday in support of the motion asking the San Francisco Superior Court To dismiss the charge regarding “false identification documents” brought against her by California Attorney General Xavier Becerra for her undercover journalism work in exposing Planned Parenthood’s trafficking in baby body parts. Judge Christopher Hite dismissed six of the original 15 felony charges, as he made factual findings that the recorded conversations were not confidential. Given those factual findings, Becerra cannot bring those dismissed charges again. But Becerra then filed an “information” on Dec. 13, 2019, adding an additional count to Merritt’s charges, even though the statute of limitations had expired for any new claims. Liberty Counsel represents Merritt and has shown that, to date, no other citizen journalist or journalism organization has ever been charged with a crime for undercover recordings made in the public interest. In fact, Merritt and her co-defendant, David Daleiden, the founder of the Center for Medical Progress, are the first undercover journalists to be criminally prosecuted in California’s history. Casinos, yes; churches, no Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) attorneys representing a Lyon County, Nevada, church filed a supplemental brief Thursday in their federal lawsuit against Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak and other state officials for allowing casinos and restaurants to operate at 50 percent capacity while continuing to restrict churches to gatherings of 50 or fewer people as part of the state’s reopening plans during the coronavirus pandemic. The church, Calvary Chapel Dayton Valley, is requesting court orders that would immediately halt enforcement of the church gathering ban while the lawsuit moves forward. ADF’s brief includes video footage of a recently reopened, crowded casino floor where the majority of patrons pictured are not wearing masks or practicing social distancing. Among the exceptions to Sisolak’s gathering restrictions, restaurants can resume on-site dining at 50 percent capacity and gyms and fitness centers can open at 50 percent capacity. But the governor has refused to allow churches and other places of worship to open their doors to 50 or more people under any circumstance. Calvary Chapel Dayton Valley wishes to resume in-person worship services that would amount to less than 50 percent of its building’s capacity and has developed comprehensive social distancing and health and safety protocols to govern those services. Despite these health and safety measures, however, the governor’s church gathering ban threatens the church with criminal and civil penalties.
