Helena führt Bestattung Erichsen inzwischen in vierter Generation weiter, Broder Bestattungen Martensen & Nissen in zweiter Generation. Tonight, on The Panel, Wallace Chapman is joined by panellists Wendyl Nissen and Andrew Clay. First up, heavy vehicles may soon be able to take more on board as a fuel-saving measure. But Winston Peters is not a fan, and says any rule changes should prioritise rail. Niall Robertson of the Rail Advocacy Collective joins the show. Then, Wellington's Mayor has had a major office downgrade, going from harbour views to a concrete wall in a shift of headquarters.
In part two, Wellington councillor Sam O'Brien takes a look at the case of the disappearing beach in Hataitai. Then, they head to a very lucky school in Auckland, which has the country's first permanent therapy dog: a labrador-retriever called Milo.
Every Atlassian admin has been there — you're either locking everything down so tightly that users are filing tickets just to breathe, or you've said "yes" one too many times and now you've got 47 duplicate fields and a different workflow in every single space. So where's the line? This episode is less of an interview and more of a conversation — and we want you to be part of it. As we sit down with Nick Turner of the Turner Advisory Group, we're pulling in perspectives straight from the JiraAmigos community, because this is exactly the kind of topic where everyone has a war story, an opinion, or a hard-learned lesson worth hearing. We'll dig into what it actually looks like when an instance tips too far in either direction. On one end, the over-governed environment built more for the admin than the everyday user — where guardrails have become gates and friction is everywhere. On the other, the anything-goes instance where customization has quietly spiraled into chaos, half the fields don't work, and no two teams are operating the same way.Nick brings his perspective from the Turner Advisory Group, the hosts bring theirs, and we want you bringing yours too. As you listen, we're challenging you to think honestly about your own instance — which direction are you leaning? How much of that is intentional, and how much just... happened? We also get into how much context matters here, because what works at a few hundred users can fall apart fast at a few thousand.Pull up a chair. This one's a group discussion.Thank you to ikuTeam for connecting and collaborating with The Jira Life. https://ikuteam.comThe Jira Life=====================================Having trouble keeping up with when we are live? California's state-level homelessness spending is about $1.5 billion per year… and that figure doesn't even include the ~$900 million spent by Los Angeles. But if there are still 131,000 homeless in the state, where is all the money going? Independent journalist Eric Nissen found an alarming pattern: ghost businesses with no operating hours, developers pocketing millions in a single flip, and a fraudster who was running FIVE businesses out of a single storage closet. Eric Nissen reveals the shocking reality behind the state's escalating crisis, detailing a staggering $170 million in fraud linked to homeless initiatives like Project Homekey. Independent California gubernatorial candidate Elaine Culotti breaks down the reality of media election interference after being intentionally excluded from the major ABC7/USC debate. Dr. Charlie Powell, a decorated war veteran and physician, exposes how modern medicine abandons trauma survivors by numbing their pain with pills rather than offering real solutions. Eric Nissen is a citizen journalist based in Los Angeles who is exposing fraud being practiced all over the city. He has worked with Nick Shirley on uncovering hospice fraud. Follow at https://x.com/InnerRhythmWave Elaine Culotti is an independent California gubernatorial candidate. The renowned entrepreneur, designer, sustainable farmer, and former star of Discovery+ reality series “Undercover Billionaire,” is focusing on addressing California's escalating wildfire crisis. Does she sound like Adele, Billie Eilish, or Ella Fitzgerald? Glenn can't pick just one in this very special, music-filled edition of "The Glenn Beck Podcast" with rising star Emma Nissen. From the night B.B. King hit on Glenn's wife to Emma wiping her runny nose right before shaking John Legend's hand, the stories flow between live renditions of Emma's songs. She reveals how a hemorrhaging vocal cord forced her out of college, led her to serve God in Sweden during COVID, and ultimately birthed her first song. She then unpacks the limits of contemporary Christian music, what's missing in Taylor Swift's love songs, and how “Jesus and jazz” is the sound the next generation has been craving. With searing honesty, she opens up about her battles with anxiety, eating disorders, and body dysmorphia — and the cognitive shift that finally allowed her to declare, “I am beautiful.” Sit back and enjoy the sound of the next generation's Jesus music: full of unpredictable scat, unbounded joy, and the still, small voice of God. Pater Noster Lighthouse Pater Noster is a small archipelago off the west coast of Sweden. The island group's name, which means “The Lord's Prayer,” is said to come from the tradition that mariners would recite the Lord's Prayer as they negotiated their way around the dangerous reefs in the vicinity. The 105-foot-tall, red, cast-iron lighthouse was constructed in 1868. Erik Nissen Johansen A complete restoration of the lighthouse began in 2002. Since 2020, the location has been operated as a small hotel. The facilities include rooms with a sea view, a restaurant, and three boathouses for dinner and conferences. Our guest, Erik Nissen Johansen is the founder and creative director of Stylt Trampoli, a multi-award winning hospitality design company. He is now a partner in the Pater Noster hotel. This is an edited version of a conversation first heard in episode 115 in April 2021.
For 27 years, she was just Jane Doe, a nameless woman found decomposed in an Iowa ditch in 1978. In 2006, a fingerprint match finally gave her a name: Wilma June Nissen, a 23-year-old mother. Wilma's daughter Krissi spent nearly 30 years believing her mother had abandoned her, only to learn the devastating truth that she'd been murdered just after Krissi's first birthday. Now, Krissi is fighting to solve her mother's cold case, and investigators believe they know who did it. This is the story of a woman who was failed by every system that should have protected her. Someone out there knows what happened that summer night in 1978, and Wilma June Nissen deserves justice. To Report Information:Crime Stoppers USA: 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)Website: crimestoppersusa.orgCold Case Coalition Tip Line: (385) 258-3313WeTip Anonymous Tip Line: 1-800-78-CRIME (1-800-782-7463)Sioux Falls Crime Stoppers: (605) 367-7007 or toll-free (877) 367-7007Website: crimestopperssiouxempire.comSupport Resources: If you or someone you know has experienced child abuse, neglect, or sexual exploitation:National Child Abuse Hotline: 1-800-422-4453RAINN National Sexual Assault Hotline: 1-800-656-4673National Human Trafficking Hotline: 1-888-373-7888Krissi's Platforms:Justice4WilmaJuneNissen.comwilmasdaughter.substack.comBluesky: @krissihaas1977.bsky.socialTikTok: Krissi_1977medium.com/@justice4wilmaX (Twitter): @MyMomsMurderChange.org petition: https://c.org/7jyxTjGVzCSOURCES:https://iowacoldcases.org/case-summaries/wilma-june-nissen/https://projectcoldcase.org/2025/05/12/wilma-nissen/https://www.nwestiowa.com/news/new-lead-for-lyon-county-cold-case/article_31e9c062-1961-11e6-a014-53443c67e206.htmlhttps://www.the-sun.com/news/14825036/wilma-nissen-cold-case-mom-murdered-krissi-atkisson-iowa/https://www.nbcnews.com/dateline/cold-case-spotlight/wilma-nissen-rock-rapids-iowa-homicide-unsolved-rcna232527https://siouxcityjournal.com/news/article_6820cdc8-6145-5524-9fc2-3e96212da18e.htmlhttps://muscatinejournal.com/news/state-regional/crime-courts/article_e6a2c980-b20e-5d53-a74c-435d649b4828.htmlhttps://nonpareilonline.com/news/state-regional/crime-courts/article_4409d496-4e68-5e8e-b907-f5e1c42decc8.htmlhttps://siouxlandnews.com/archive/arrest-made-in-1978-lyon-county-cold-case-01-26-2016https://www.dakotanewsnow.com/2025/05/08/missing-murdered-who-killed-wilma-june-nissen-1978/https://medium.com/@CrimeStoriesNow/unraveling-the-cold-case-the-wilma-june-nissen-mystery-e6908d9e9ed2https://storiesoftheunsolved.com/2021/02/14/the-murder-of-wilma-june-nissen/https://seasonofjustice.org/featured/wilma-june-nissen/https://original.newsbreak.com/@fatim-hemraj-561392/2226594487639-who-killed-wilma-june-nissen-help-solve-this-43-year-old-cold-casehttps://medium.com/chameleon/who-killed-wilma-june-nissen-help-solve-this-43-year-old-cold-case-41b784aba10https://www.maryhallbergmedia.com/post/unsolved-the-murder-of-wilma-nissenhttps://synovaink.com/2025/03/12/jane-doe-mother-identified-cold-case-of-wilma-june-nissen/Dakota Spotlight Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/ie/podcast/krissis-search-the-murder-of-wilma-june-nissen/id1451783176?i=1000704327368Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/reverie-true-crime--4442888/support.Keep In Touch:Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/reveriecrimepodInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/reverietruecrimeTumblr: https://reverietruecrimepodcast.tumblr.comFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/reverietruecrimeContact: ReverieTrueCrime@gmail.com Intro & Outro by Jahred Gomes: https://www.instagram.com/jahredgomes_official

On a cold fall morning in October 1978, near Rock Rapids, Iowa, a crew burying telephone cables made the grim discovery of a young woman's body hidden in an overgrown ditch off Highway 182. With no identification found at the scene, the woman was immediately classified as a Jane Doe. For 27 years, Jane Doe lay beneath a gravestone reading "Unknown Female" before she finally reclaimed her name: Wilma June Nissen. Now, investigators and Wilma's daughter, Krissi, a daughter she never met, are trying to piece together Wilma's final years and finally solve her brutal murder.

Highlight Moments: Why everyday decisions—like sleep, food, and mindset—are where championships are really won. The power of visualizing goals and staying grounded in purpose. Lessons from Nebraska’s team motto: “It Takes What It Takes.” This episode is a must-listen for any athlete striving to win more than just games. In 1978, the body of a young woman was discovered in a rural Iowa ditch—no name, no missing persons report, and clear signs of a violent death. For 27 years, she was known only as a Jane Doe. Her name was Wilma June Nissen. She was 23 years old and believed to have been killed in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, around the time of her daughter Krissi's first birthday. In this episode, Krissi Haas shares her decades-long search for the truth and the emotional journey to reclaim the story of the mother she never had the chance to know. If you have any information about Wilma June Nissen, her murder, or individuals known as Sugar or Peaches, please consider reaching out.
