1. In his closing prayer, Tim harkened back to the beginning themes of his sermon when he prayed about the “sense of failure and meaninglessness that we're all dealing with.” Considering the framing for these ideas (and reviewing the slides below as needed), how much do you identify with this idea? What does it look like for you to be wrestling with a sense of failure & meaninglessness? What about that fits for your sense of yourself and your life right now? What doesn't? Tim also taught that the underpinning of Jesus' message was that the problem isn't that we haven't moved from “is” to “ought.” The problem is that we think we need to in order to find wholeness. What are the details of your version of “ought?” What do you think (either consciously or beneath the layers) that you have to get to/achieve/become/rectify/change in order for life to become “what it's supposed to be?”2. Tim taught that one key part of Jesus' guidance for the world boiled down to this idea: “Stop trying to change the realities of reality. Instead, just accept & embrace grace… and the wholeness you're seeking will start showing up in the midst of your life in ways you'd never imagine.” Where inside yourself do you encounter resistance to this idea? What evokes hesitation or skepticism in you? What do you make of those places of resistance? Are there things that you are afraid would happen if you were to fully embrace this message? If so, what are they?Tim articulated the other key part of Jesus' message two different ways:First, Tim said, “Grace isn't ‘you're fine the way you are, and you're accepted!' Instead, Grace is ‘you're not fine the way you are… and you're accepted.” Another way he said it was this: “It's not, ‘You're fine. You're good.' It's 'You're not fine. You're good.” 3. In his closing prayer, Tim prayed for us all to be able to take the leap of faith that is giving up on the system & the programs. It's accepting unfettered grace now. He prayed that we could all “learn to lose.” Where are you on this journey [of giving up on the programs and accepting that the system can never work]? What l, in your own story so far, has moved you closer to this vision of accepting wholeness? What has moved you further from it? What direction (toward or away) feels the most dominant in your life right now?Based on this understanding of the message of Christ, what are the next steps for you? What are some truths and ideas you may need to intentionally come back to & remember in order to anchor yourself in the process?
"One of the most common arguments raised against the existence of God is the problem of suffering: “If God is good and all-powerful, why does He allow injustice?” But when we turn to Scripture—especially Ecclesiastes 4:1–3—we see that this argument actually backfires.Without God, suffering and oppression can only lead to despair. If life is nothing more than “under the sun,” then Solomon's conclusion is inescapable: the dead are better off than the living, and it would be better never to have been born. This is the hopelessness of atheism.But the Bible gives us another perspective: God is the righteous Judge who will bring every deed into account (Eccl. 3:16–17). His judgment is not only terrifying to the wicked—it is also a comfort to the oppressed. And through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, believers are promised final vindication and everlasting life.

“Learning” about money and finance in the truther world since 2017 has been an interesting journey.I knew money was fake and gay as a child. And while I'm archetypally wired to be mindful and responsible with it, I began hearing all of the ‘secret things‘ about it that came package deal with the red pill. It fuelled my hatred of money and the money system and the thugs who use it as a weapon, reward, punishment in a slave society.It wasn't that helpful.We're going to talk about some of the key points including that the government prints money and drives inflation. PSALM 39 For the director of music. For Jeduthun. A psalm of David. 1 I said, “I will watch my ways and keep my tongue from sin; I will put a muzzle on my mouth while in the presence of the wicked.” 2 So I remained utterly silent, not even saying anything good. But my anguish increased; 3 my heart grew hot within me. While I meditated, the fire burned; then I spoke with my tongue: 4 “Show me, Lord, my life's end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is. 5 You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Everyone is but a breath, even those who seem secure. 6 “Surely everyone goes around like a mere phantom; in vain they rush about, heaping up wealth without knowing whose it will finally be. 7 “But now, Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in you. 8 Save me from all my transgressions; do not make me the scorn of fools. 9 I was silent; I would not open my mouth, for you are the one who has done this. 10 Remove your scourge from me; I am overcome by the blow of your hand. 11 When you rebuke and discipline anyone for their sin, you consume their wealth like a moth—surely everyone is but a breath. 12 “Hear my prayer, Lord, listen to my cry for help; do not be deaf to my weeping. I dwell with you as a foreigner, a stranger, as all my ancestors were. 13 Look away from me, that I may enjoy life again before I depart and am no more.” FROM THE LESSON Hevel - a Hebrew word literally meaning "vapor, mist, smoke, or breath." It is translated also translated as "meaningless, vanity, futility, and insignificant." My favorite definition is by a Hebrew professor who described it as "what's left after you break a soap bubble." This word is located in verses 5, 6, and 11. Amusement - a compound word of two main parts - the heart of the word is "muse" which means to ponder, to meditate upon or to think about. The prefix of the word is the negative "a" which means no or not. So, literally, amusement means "to not think." David's Conclusions About Life and Meaninglessness: 1 Life is too short to have any meaning 2 Life is too swift to have any meaning. 3 The way we live our too short and too swift lives is meaningless. Max Lucado Quote - "God loves you just the way you are, however, he loves you too much to leave you that way." DISCUSSION QUESTIONS ICE BREAKER: What is your favorite form of amusement? What do you do for entertainment? Discuss the connection between amusement and not thinking. 1. Read the first three verses. This is the introduction. David is concerned about talking too soon. He talks to God in prayer before talking to others about what he is thinking. Have you ever struggled with talking too soon? Discuss the principle "pray before you say" with your group. 2. Read verses 4-6. Discuss David's three conclusions about life and meaninglessness in these verses. Which one of the conclusions resonated most with you this morning? 3 Read verses 8-13. Now read the words of Job in Job 7:16-21. Compare the two statements. Can you relate to their sentiments? Attempt to put their thoughts into your own words. 4 Read verse 7. The ESV reads, "And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you." Start living out your hope in Jesus Christ today. Are there any actions you want to take or changes you want to make in your life with Jesus? Is there a neighbor you have talked about inviting to church? Is there a missionary you have always thought about supporting? Have you thought about fasting but have never done it? Start today. Share with your group.

I always feel like I'm in the Wild West of health and healing, aiming to break new ground and find the actual truth of it, where at all possible. In the world of self-healing, there are hundreds of paths to go. Healing with food has always appealed to me, because it is the simplest. In this 5th generation war that has weaponized medicine against the people next level, it's become more popular than ever to find self-healing means that would keep us from being at the mercy of the medical systems that don't hold our best interest. In today's Wisdom Nugget, I will guide you through the vast landscapes of biblical wisdom. Today, we're exploring Ecclesiastes 4:13-16 from the New Living Translation. Ecclesiastes 4:13-16 (NLT): 13 It is better to be a poor but wise youth than an old and foolish king who refuses all advice. 14 Such a youth could rise from poverty and succeed. He might even become king, though he has been in prison. 15 But then everyone rushes to the side of yet another youth who replaces him. 16 Endless crowds stand around him, but then another generation grows up and rejects him, too. So it is all meaningless—like chasing the wind. Value of Wisdom: Solomon begins by highlighting the value of wisdom. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. 11 Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? 12 A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer.
