Hour 3 - Braves are okay with having Jorge Soler as a depth piece next season In the final hour of this Wednesday edition of The Morning Shift, Emmy award winning sports Reporter, Anchor, and Host, Maria Martin, filling in for Tiffany Blackmon, Mike Johnson, and Beau Morgan kick off the final hour by giving some people Wake Up Calls! The Morning Shift crew also allows callers to hand out some Wake Up Calls as well. Then, Mike and Beau continue this Wednesday edition of The Morning Shift by letting you hear Atlanta Falcons Offensive Coordinator Zac Robinson talk about how he sat down with Pitts, everyone feeling like Pitts can have his best year this year, and how Kyle Pitts stood out in one on ones and did a lot of run game work in 11 on 11s. Mike and Beau react to what Robinson had to say as well. Then, Mike dives into the life of Beau Morgan in The Life of Squid! On this edition of The Life of Squid, Beau “Squidbilly” Morgan, talks about how impressed he was with the U.S. Women's National Rugby team. Mike and Beau close out this Thursday edition of The Morning Shift by spending some time with Former MLB General Manager for the New York Mets and Baltimore Orioles, and now Analyst for MLB Network Radio on Sirius/XM and MLB Network Jim Duquette! Mike, Beau, and Jim discuss this year's trade deadline being one of the busier trade deadlines in recent years, if Jim was surprised that Alex Anthopoulos traded for and brought back Jorge Soler and Luke Jackson, how hard it is for a General Manager to decide if they are going to be buyers or sellers when the trade deadline comes, if it got to a point where Alex Anthopoulos wanted to do something, but didn't want to spend a lot of money, and that's why he brought in guys who he was familiar with that didn't cost a lot of assets, Jorge Soler being under contract isn't a bad thing, because of Ronald Acuña Jr. coming back from injury, Jarred Kelenic being under team control on a team friendly deal, and Soler being a quality depth piece, and what Jim thinks about Garrett Crochet saying if a team trades for him he won't pitch in the postseason unless he gets a new contract.

Japan's Top Business Interviews Podcast By Dale Carnegie Training Tokyo, Japan
Eddie's coaching of Japan to defeat South Africa against their hometown advantage in South Africa, was a breakthrough moment for Japanese rugby, which until that point had never managed to win a game at that level. Eddie started his coaching career at Randwick as an assistant coach in 1994. He coached Tokai University as an assistant coach in 1995-96, was assistant coach for Japan in 1996, coached the Suntory Sungoliath team in 1997, the ACT Brumbies from 1998-2001, Australia from 2001-2005, Saracens in 2006, the Queensland Reds in 2007, South Africa in 2007, Saracens again in 2007-209, Suntory Sungoliaths again from 2009-2012, Japan from 2012-2015, the Stormers in 2015, England from 2015-2022, Australia in 2023 and Japan from 2024. Over the 9 years Eddie has spent leading in Japan, he has amassed a very detailed understanding of high performance team coaching for this market, especially for young Japanese people. Leading this younger generation is a new challenge for most of us and yet Eddie has spent his whole career working out how to lead young men in their twenties. He is probably the most expert person in Japan in this field and someone we can learn a lot from. Eddie credits his training as a High School teacher, as helping him a great deal when he became a rugby coach. He is a constant student of leadership and permanently curious, as to how he can improve his abilities.
In this week's podcast - the only podcast to cover exclusively club rugby in Scotland - Stuart and Dale look ahead to Saturday's matches. As always, we'd like to thank the following clubs for supporting the podcast - Hawick, Marr, Selkirk, Jedforest, Kelso, Glasgow Hawks, Ayr, Melrose, Gala, Peebles, Stirling County, Berwick and Stewart's-Melville. You can hear from these clubs in every episode of the podcast throughout the season when they have matches. In the Premiership this Saturday, Jedforest host local rivals Kelso looking for their first win of the season. After last week's great result at home to Currie, Kelso are in the driving seat to grab the fourth play-off spot in the Premiership. Rugby Radio will be coming live from Riverside Park for full commentary of that game. Heriot's Blues are also in contention for that fourth spot after losing at home to Hawick last weekend, but they have a good chance of putting pressure on Kelso if they can beat Glasgow Hawks at Goldenacre. The Bill McLaren Shield is up for grabs as Selkirk defend the trophy at home to Hawick, who are now home and hosed and will top the table at the end of the 18 matches. That should mean they will be Scottish Premiership Champions but that's not the case in this league - the four top teams have to go through a play-off scenario to decide the title - something Stuart is dead against, and something Dale loves. The two debate this in a heated discussion at the start of the show! Also in the Premiership Currie host Edinburgh Accies and Musselburgh play Marr at Stoneyhill. In National 1 Champions Ayr have finished their campaign and can sit back and see who comes second, but there's only bragging rights at stake for that. Down the bottom end the race is on as to whether GHK or Dundee will be relegated. We look at the four matches being played in that division on Saturday. In National 2 Peebles and Falkirk aren't giving an inch with both claiming good bonus point wins last weekend. Peebles are away at Stirling County on Saturday while Falkirk welcome Berwick to Sunnyside. With Aberdeen Grammar not playing Berwick have the chance to get some more points to stretch clear of Aberdeen using their game in hand, while Stew-Mel play Gordonians. In National 3 and 4 this Saturday eyes will be on Preston Lodge v Orkney - a win for Preston Lodge will mean they take a massive step towards the title, although they can't win it this Saturday. In National 4 Garnock remain the only team unbeaten in National Rugby this season, and should be too strong for North Berwick as they march on to try and gain promotion in their first National League season. On Rugby Radio this weekend at www.rugbyradio.co.uk you can hear two and a half hours of live rugby direct from Riverside Park, with full commentary of the Premiership game between Jedforest and Kelso, plus live score updates from across the country. We are on air from 2.30pm to 5pm. Don't forget to check out highlights of that game on Sunday on Borders Rugby TV at www.bordersrugby.net and YouTube, plus action from Selkirk v Hawick also in the Premiership. Hey Everyone,Welcome to episode ten of the Two Coach Confidence podcast. Our aim with this podcast is to bring fun and interesting guests from all areas and walks of life to share their knowledge, stories and experiences of this mystical and subjective topic we refer to as confidence. In today's episode we have the pleasure of being joined by Emma Taylor. Born in Nova Scotia Canada, Emma currently works full time as a Project Engineering Specialist for Irving Shipbuilding, and is also a member of the Canadian Women's National Rugby team. Emma has played rugby for over 10 years, playing at the club, university, provincial and national level across a number of cities and countries. Emma generously, and openly shares her journey and battle with her mental health, and also the impact those challenges have had on her status as a female role model. In this episode, Emma shares with us her journey from giving everything, but not getting where she wanted, and the impact that had on her mental well being.Emma shares how being one of a small number of women working in a male dominated industry has affected her confidence. How Emma has had to battle with herself to go to the gym not because of the training, but because of her lack of confidence to walk into the gym. We open up a conversation about body IMAGE, rather than body CONFIDENCE. And how Emma has managed her relationship with her body, being specifically mindful about the language she chooses to use regarding her body.We talk about the potential relationship between anxiety and confidence, and that Emma believes there is a very clear link between the two things.Emma talks to us about how she has to continually manage her anxiety, and exactly how she does that. Emma shares the reasons as to why her sister inspires her so much, and the special relationship they have which has been an integral part of Emma's life.We spoke about the importance of recognising you have anxiety in order to take control of it, and that anxiety can make you feel you're not good at things you're great at.Emma talks about how she felt like she had to be a role model, whilst at the same time feeling like she couldn't be if she suffered from anxiety. We have a wonderful conversation about how you can be confident even though you may still be managing anxiety. This is a really special episode, Emma is softly spoken, kind and very humble to say the least. As we continue our journey to explore this topic, it never ceases to amaze us how confidence has literally impacted everyone, regardless of your status, experience, profession or background. It plays a part in all our lives, and yet still isn't something that is being talked about enough, or better yet, something that is being understood in order to enhance and enrich our experience of life.If you enjoy the podcast, please SUBSCRIBE to our show and leave a review. Welcome to episode 20 of All About Fitness, first I’m pleased to announce a new sponsor - SKLZ, the maker of exercise products to help you reach your goals, listen to the spot for a code that can save you 30%. On episode 20 I’m thrilled to feature a conversation with a favorite member of my extended #FitFAM Jen Sinkler. Jen is a blogger, studio owner (along with her husband, the physically cultured David Dellanave - an upcoming guest on All About Fitness himself) and fitness personality who is helping to change how people exercise - you can read her extended bio here. Some highlights of her background are being a former member of the US Women’s National Rugby team, an editor for a fitness magazine, a frequent speaker at fitness conferences and, this is my favorite, she’s one of the few women who is a regular content (meaning workout) contributor to Men’s Health. During our conversation today we talk about living without a car (LOVE IT), the benefits of strength training and specifically how her workout program has changed as she’s gotten a little older. As I’m getting more into podcasting and listening to other podcasts I’m finding I do not like long intros, so I’m trying to keep the recorded introduction short and sweet but am adding some personal input and thoughts AFTER the interview, so please stay tuned.
