In this podcast episode, Guy interviewed Lisa, who shared her profound journey of spiritual awakening and inner transformation. Lisa, who once identified as a home builder, golfer, and boater, experienced an immense shift that led her to become a proponent for world peace and healing. Her journey began after declaring an end to human suffering and immersing herself in prayer and contemplation. Lisa spoke candidly about her personal struggles, the catalyst that initiated her awakening, and the transformative power of connecting with a higher consciousness. This conversation covered the natural instincts that guided her, her contemplation practices, the physiological experiences during her awakening, and how it altered her perception of herself and the world. Lisa also discussed the challenges and rewards of this path, relationships, and the power of surrendering to a higher power. This episode offers an insightful perspective into the depths of human consciousness and the potential for self-discovery and healing. About Lisa: Lisa Rose is a former home builder, golfer, and boater. After an incredible and life-changing spiritual awakening in February 2016, Lisa took a leap into the unknown and began exploring spirituality and its physiological effects on the body. Below, you can read more about her life and the experience, in her own words. “Feb 2016. I was sitting upon my bed, legs stretched out. Suddenly I felt a sublime flash sensation where every particle of my body stood at attention, in recognition as if meeting their maker. My eyes became clamped shut, something slid back in the middle of my head… very euphoric… then energy began gushing thru my crown. A holographic image of Ramana Maharshi appeared behind my closed eyes along with a warmth that flooded my heart center and we shared telepathic communication. After a few minutes the image faded, the energy subsided some 10mins later and my eyes unclamped. 3yrs prior I had declared myself irrevocably done with human suffering. In resignation I surrendered my body-mind to my Creator and spent much time in intense contemplation of our Divinity… humanity's Omniscient, Infinite & Eternal nature. The experience was followed by 3yrs of Bliss, void of all desires and total detachment from the world, as well as unity with all things, especially earth and nature. I encountered incredible things during this period which has given way to a complete shift in my perception and a deep sense of Universal Peace. The last couple years I've spent investigating things, mainly the Bliss, and marvelling at the incredible latent transcendent abilities of our body-mind organism.” Key Points Discussed: (00:00) - Beyond the Surface: Lisa Rose on Exploring Inner Consciousness (00:08) - Lisa's Journey to Courage (01:21) - A Shift in Perspective (03:02) - Turning Inward (04:57) - Discovering New Thought (09:12) - The Power of Contemplation (12:46) - The Awakening Experience (23:21) - A Profound Encounter (30:56) - Exploring the Mind-Body Connection (31:43) - Bridging Science and Spirituality (35:06) - The Power of Surrender (38:12) - Experiencing Bliss and Transformation (41:50) - The Role of Consciousness in Healing (45:15) - Sharing the Journey and Insights (58:24) - Encouragement for Inner Exploration How to Contact Lisa Rose:www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100004071234132 About me:My Instagram: www.instagram.com/guyhlawrence/?hl=en Guy's websites:www.guylawrence.com.au www.liveinflow.co''

In this episode of Money Tales, our guest is Mirela Sula. At the age of 16, Mirela found herself in her home country of Albania, engaged to be married. Not because of a teenage romance or a whirlwind courtship, but because of something much darker – the risk of being sold into prostitution. Upon accepting the proposal, Mirela made her fiancé promise that he would allow her to continue her studies. If he didn't, she vowed to disappear from his life. That promise was Mirela's lifeline. She was married by the age of 18, trading her freedom for safety. Mirela lived with a large family in a small village, where there was no money to even discuss. Her role was clear – to wash, to clean, and to serve the family. At the same time, she continued to pursue her education, gaining knowledge, and with that, came confidence and exposure to the world outside. As Mirela progressed in her studies, she began to understand the importance of financial independence and worked aggressively toward it. Mirela is a British journalist, author, and CEO and Founder of Global Woman Magazine and Global Woman Club. She is an internationally recognized leader in the fields of media, education, and women's empowerment. With a dynamic career spanning over two decades, Mirela has left a mark on the world by transformative initiatives and fostering a global community of over 30,000 female founders in her Global Woman platform. Mirela is the owner of five magazines, author of 15 books, leader of 27 club chapters around the world and the organizer of more than 500 events. She has been speaking in more than 300 stages around the world and has reached over 1 million people with her message. Mirela has been honored with awards such as the 'Inspirational Award for Women 2015' for Human Rights, the 'Best Inspirational Influencer' Award from The Best You in 2017, and the Universum Donna Award 2017 from the Universum Academy of Switzerland. “The Businesswoman of the Year Award” from Wealth Dragons in 2019. "The Icon 2023" Award among top celebrities in the UK, and recently she received the “Peace Award” from Universal Peace of Federation on the United Nations International Day of Peace. Mirela is also the organizer of the Global Woman Summit and Global Woman Awards. She has appeared on London Live TV, BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour, Sky TV and has also been featured in the ‘Evening Standard', Forbes Magazine and ‘The Guardian'. In a little-known 1792 essay, James Madison recognized that “a universal and perpetual peace” is something that might never exist. But it is such an important goal that “every thing ought to be tried.” This message of peace to all is perfect for Christmas - and every single day of the year. Song: Ancient Green Words & Music: by Kathleen Hannan Notes: Kathleen says she caught this comforting song while lying on a huge rock next to the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia, crying her heart out over a relationship that was transforming. A beautiful oak tree was growing out of the rock, and as the song was born her sorrowful feelings washed through with the sound of the river, and she was left feeling whole, and at peace with the way things were. She also shared this story with me, "One time I sang the song in a show with a group of women drummers. Their teacher, a lovely African man, also played with us in the concert and rehearsal. After I taught them in the rehearsal and we had played it for a while, the African drummer told me that the song felt like an African song to him. That was one of my happiest moments, since I have for so long felt inspired by African diaspora music. And I did not really feel like I wrote that song... it just came through as a whole as I cried by the river." Songwriter info: Kathleen has been writing, collecting and sharing songs for over 50 years. Her songs were awarded a North Carolina Arts Council Songwriter Fellowship. She currently leads the Bodies, Voices & Spirit Choruses in North Carolina and Maine, and is also a Dances of Universal Peace leader. This week we have Buddhist monk Chophel Delek on the podcast. Chophel and I have crossed paths a few times in recent years through DNKL Tibetan Buddhist Center for Universal Peace, where Chophel lives and teaches and I have studied from time to time. In this episode he takes us through the process of making that choice and how his life has shifted since, plus offers valuable tips and tools for working with your mind to create the causes and conditions for a more joyful present and future. “Unlike Greek, Aramaic presents a fluid and holistic view of the cosmos. The arbitrary borders found in Greek between ‘mind,’ ‘body,’ and ‘spirit’ fall away.” —Neil Douglas-Klotz, Prayers of the Cosmos Neil Douglas-Klotz, a world-renowned scholar in religious studies and psychology, defies easy categorization. He is a poet. Musician. Teacher of embodied prayers. Citizen diplomat. A Sufi. Linguist fluent in Aramaic, Hebrew, Arabic, German, among other languages. Author of eleven books, best known for his translations of the Aramaic words of Jesus and of the Arabic of the Qur’an. Thought leader and philosopher. Matthew Fox wrote of Douglas-Klotz’s book Prayers of the Cosmos, “Reader beware: though this book is brief, it contains the seeds of a revolution.” This particular revolution began in 1977 when Douglas-Klotz, as a young man, received a transliteration in English phonetics of the Lord’s Prayer in Aramaic. He was curious to explore something that his teacher, Samuel L. Lewis—an American mystic, horticultural scientist, Zen master, and Sufi murshid (senior teacher)—had hoped to complete before his death, but hadn’t: to learn to pray the Lord’s Prayer in the original words spoken by Jesus. Douglas-Klotz began to recite the words, then chant the sounds over and over again. “My body began to feel feelings I hadn’t felt before,” Douglas-Klotz recounted. “It was a visionary experience, a hal [or an expanded state, in Arabic].” He thought either he was going crazy and hearing voices in his head, or these body prayers might be something to try out with others. Since then, Douglas-Klotz has become a pioneer in the radical translation and transliteration of the Lord’s Prayer and other teachings of Jesus. Two of his books, Prayers of the Cosmos: Reflections on the Original Meaning of Jesus's Words and The Hidden Gospel: Decoding the Spiritual Message of the Aramaic Jesus, reveal a mystical, feminist, and cosmic Christ. Douglas-Klotz teaches not only in concept, but by direct experience through body prayers and chants, how Aramaic differs from the better known Greek and English versions of the Christian Gospels. He explains how Arabic, Aramaic, and Hebrew all share the same roots. These Semitic languages emanate direction, color, and movement of a universe that is holistic, fluid, and conscious. He created a website, www.abwoon.org, with audio and video resources, so anyone can learn these prayers from anywhere in the world. Douglas-Klotz was raised in Chicago by a multicultural family. Both sets of his grandparents were refugees from Europe of mixed German, Jewish, Russian, and Polish blood. His father was a chiropractor, and his mother was a student of healer and mystic Edgar Cayce. They were devout Christians, telling him stories of Jesus’s miracles and cultivating a sense of reverence and awe; they also taught him to question everything that challenged the greatest law to “love your neighbor as yourself." Douglas-Klotz was also impacted by Rachel Carson’s book, Silent Spring, and the importance of caring for the environment. After graduating from college and working as a journalist in social justice, environmental issues, and consumer protection, he began to study with the early students of the mystic and scientist Samuel L. Lewis, through whom Douglas-Klotz was introduced to the spiritual practice involving Dances of Universal Peace. He then began a deep exploration of the body, mystical and expanded states of consciousness, and the early pre-religious ways of the three Abrahamic faiths—Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. In addition to academic studies at various universities, where he received a master’s degree in somatic psychology and a doctorate in religious studies with an emphasis in ancient Semitic language hermeneutics, he studied with teachers from the native traditions of the Middle East, Pakistan, and India. In 1982, together with the Rev. Tasnim Fernandez, he co-founded the International Network for the Dances of Universal Peace. Several years later, he led a multinational group of dancers for peace on a citizen diplomacy trip to the Soviet Union, where they “demonstrated peace” in many public places with hundreds of local people joining them. Douglas-Klotz’s other books include The Sufi Book of Life: 99 Pathways of the Heart for the Modern Dervish, Kahlil Gibran’s Little Book of Wisdom, Desert Wisdom: A Nomad’s Guide to Life’s Big Questions from the Heart of the Native Middle East, The Little Book of Sufi Stories and a historical mystery called A Murder at Armageddon. He has served as faculty at the Institute in Culture and Creation Spirituality, begun by theologian Matthew Fox, which in the 1990s gathered scientists, artists, educators, and students across different cultures and races. Douglas-Klotz and his partner live in Fife, Scotland, where in 2007 he co-founded the Edinburgh International Centre for Spirituality and Peace with Neill Walker. He lectures worldwide. Under his Sufi name, Saadi Shakur Chishti, he also offers spiritual retreats combining his work with Native Middle Eastern spirituality with the lineage of Chishti Sufism. In today's episode, Stacy and Sam talk with Paula Kruger about the power of Destiny Cards to discover the souls and earth's path. Paula was raised in a Christian family and at age 27 began a journey into a wider realm of understanding through books about Near Death Experience, participation in the Dances of Universal Peace, and a kundalini awakening through Kriya meditation, to name a few. She attended Naropa University for a Master's Degree in Transpersonal Psychology. About the same time, she began studying the esoteric card system known as the Destiny Cards, and developing her intuitive ability. Combining all these, she helps her clients connect with their Guides, passed over loved ones, and Higher Self aspects to heal, grow, and clarify their life purpose. She is also the author of the book: So You Got a Destiny Cards Book? Now what? #175 My wonderful guest this week is Lisa Rose. Home builder and golfer turned proponent of world peace, Lisa's transformational story is truly amazing to listen to in this episode. During our conversation, we talk about the importance of turning our attention inwards, its consequences, and how life-changing it can be to surrender to the unknown. If you're interested in hearing about an in-depth account of what a spiritual awakening can be like, this one is for you. “After the experience, it was like you're starting to look at things with creator eyes, and the beauty of a butterfly.” About Lisa: Lisa Rose is a former home builder, golfer, and boater. The last couple years I've spent investigating things, mainly the Bliss, and marvelling at the incredible latent transcendent abilities of our body-mind organism.” Lisa's Facebook: www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100004071234132 Key points with time stamp: From Just Existing to Truly Living (00:00) Lisa as a proponent of world peace (01:23) Going from home builder to making a declaration on human suffering (02:36) Should you be looking inward for the answers? Neil is best known for his work on the Aramaic Prayer of Jesus (“The Lord's Prayer”), shared both in his books as well through the body prayers with music that have spread around the world in the past 32 years (a form called the Dances of Universal Peace.) Interviewer: MATTHEW BERKMAN. For those who seek an end to intergroup violence, it might seem natural to embrace peace as a universal ideal. MURAD IDRIS cautions, however, that in practice peace as a moral ideal has been widely deployed to vilify enemies and justify extreme measures against them – that is, to lay the groundwork for war. In his book, War for Peace: Genealogies of a Violent Ideal in Western and Islamic Thought, and his discussion with Oberlin professor Matthew Berkman, Idris examines the specific formulations of peace as a Western ideal, dating back to Plato, and how these have underwritten various forms of collective violence. He suggests alternatives that, while not so lofty, might do more to curtail ongoing conflict and injustice. Berkman and Idris also discuss how war and peace are used metaphorically during the current coronavirus crisis.

Libra Full Moon Justice Will be Served I balance. I relate. I recalibrate. Under the light of this Libra Full Moon, remember: everything happening in and around you is a balancing act bringing you and our planet into a deeper state of peace and harmony. If you resist the natural rhythms of this process, you may encounter frustration or irritation. Instead, how might you soften? Invite beauty into your life. You can first start with yourself. Breathe the lunar light of the moon into your body. Visualize yourself in loving balance with both the Masculine + Feminine principles within and without. Take inventory. Have you been pushing yourself too hard? Do you need deeper rest and relaxation? Have you been holding yourself back? Or do you need to activate and stand-up in your life? Either way, this Libra Full Moon gifts you the opportunity to recalibrate. In what ways can you bring greater balance to your life? Be gentle with yourself. Slow-down and listen. Create space for a more harmonious relationship between the Active + Passive, Yin + Yang energies in your life. Aries Season inspires us to focus on our individual self. The Libra Full Moon is here to remind us that we cannot do this alone. Once you’ve recalibrated yourself, you’re ready to consider the Other. Reflect on your relationships and connections. Perhaps you write a list of the most sacred relationships in your life. How do they bring you a deeper sense of love and joy? Are your relationships balanced? This Libra Full Moon may bring hidden emotion up to the surface, shining a light to your interpersonal connections. If something needs to be communicated in relationship, the Full Moon is here to illuminate. If an opportunity naturally arises, trust in the eb and flow. However, you may find this is not the time to reach out or initiate conversation around these themes, as emotions may be heightened. Instead, it might be wise to simply witness the surge of energy arising within you. Pause, wait, reflect — feel into it all — what wants to be revealed? This is a great time to journal your deeper thoughts and emotions around relationships in your life. Do you need more space in relationship? Do you desire more intimacy, support, and connection? What Truths needs to be communicated in order to bring a more loving balance to your relationships? For those of us not in loving partnerships, this is the Full Moon to connect with your desire for deeper love and connection. Open yourself up to receiving. Allow the feeling of mutual respect, intimacy, and adoration to permeate your auric field. Connect with the love you feel for yourself. Feel the love of Spirit wash over you. Take time to reflect on the shifts you’ve made in your own life and how this is creating space for you to receive deeper love. If physical traits arise, let them go. Instead, focus on the desires and emotions underneath. Once you’ve spent time with relationships, you’re ready to expand once more. The Libra Full Moon gifts us a bigger, more objective perspective. Aries Season hits the light switch on to our Conscious Awareness. Sometimes this can have us very intent on the immediate response, the here-and-now. Libra is here to remind us to take a more logical and detached approach. In its highest, Libra activates and awakens Peace, Justice and Liberation for All. Reflect on and visualize a world that is balanced and fair, where Justice is served at all costs. Invite greater clarity and discernment around these themes into your life. Connect with principals of Universal Truth. How are you using your life force to ensure equality for others? In what ways can you help bring greater balance to your community? Are you being called to take more action? Or are you being asked to slow down and reduce harm through quiet stillness? If you are unsure, that is totally okay and actually quite aligned in Libra energy. Connect to Spirit instead. Open yourself up to messages from birds, particularly: the dove, owl, egret, swan or stork. Call upon the peaceful union of God and Goddess within and without. Place your Justice and Empress tarot cards out. Visualize a healing + harmonious world. Light a candle. Say this to yourself three times: “I am a conduit for Universal Peace and Love. Allow this energy to flow through me like pure water and white light.” To learn more about the Libra Full Moon check out the latest 'Cosmic Cousins' podcast episode, released this morning. I close with a teaching prayer by Abdu'l-Baha which was revealed to the Baha'i's of the United States and Canada from The Baha'i Prayer Book on pages 206-208.

Episode 14 leaves the West and heads to 16th and 17th Century India and the Mughal empire. In particular, the rule of Akbar the Great. A century before John Locke’s “A Letter Concerning Toleration,” Akbar developed a policy of “Universal Peace” repudiating religious compulsion and embracing ecumenical debate. We’ll also discover why the history of the Mughal empire still tests the limits of free speech and tolerance in modern India. Among the questions tackled are: Why, how, and to what extent did Akbar abandon orthodox Islam for religious tolerance? How did religious tolerance in the Mughal empire compare to contemporary Europe? How did English travelers get away with openly blaspheming Muhammad, the Quran, and Allah? Was the emperor Aurangzeb really the uniquely intolerant villain that history has portrayed him as? Why do India’s current laws against religious insults hamper modern historians’ efforts at documenting events during the Mughal empire? Today's reading is from The Promulgation of Universal Peace by Abdu'l-Baha, pages 39-42, from a talk given by Abdu'l-Baha on April 21, 1912, at the Universalist Church in Washington DC. We continue with the Hidden Words of Baha'u'llah, from the Arabic, the second Hidden Word: "O Son of Spirit! The best beloved of all things in My sight is Justice; Turn not away therefrom if though desirest Me, and neglect it not that I may confide in thee. By its aid thou shalt see with thine own eyes and not through the eyes of others, and shalt know of thine own knowledge and not through the knowledge of thy neighbour. Ponder this in thy heart; how it behoveth thee to be. Verily justice is My gift to thee and the sign of My loving-kindness. Set it then before thine eyes." I close with a prayer for Spiritual Growth by Baha'u'llah from the Baha'i Prayer Book, page 170.

What is happening in Russia at the moment, since the Anastasia series of Ringing Cedars books? What is a Dolmen? Are they an extension of an ancient Vedic culture and are these monoliths really 7,000 - 9,000 years old, and how come they are reflected in the constellations of the night sky? What type of schooling are the children in this particular area of Russia experiencing, relating to 'how does a human being live on a planet?' What is happening at the many summer Eco Festivals across the face of Russia? Where people go back to the land to reconnect and seek community. 8 years ago Tim experienced a profound dream whilst camping between, of all things, two cedar trees, when attending a gathering of Dances of Universal Peace. This dream compelled Tim to travel to Russia for one month to investigate what it meant and along the way he discovered something extraordinary and magical.
