Your hosts this episode: Patrique Thoughtful And special guest: Curly Castro That's right. It's quite possibly the biggest episode the podcast has had yet. In a special overview of the man's own catalogue the podcast is joined by CURLY CASTRO HIMSELF. We cannot thank him enough here at the podcast for allowing your hosts Patrique, and returning guest Thoughtful, to probe his mind about his varied catalogue and his evolution as an artist. Going in detail from his early group beginnings, to his stylistic evolutions from his early career to his late career, when he first met and collaborated with Billy Woods, and the dealings being involved with various groups later in his career with Wrecking Crew, ShrapKnel, and Grift Company. It's good times and vibes all around and we hope you too enjoy this personal deep dive as much as our hosts did. This episode the podcast is joined along by the wide cast of lookAghost, bodgahermosa, santurce, and leftlane to cover Carti's most controversial, inspirational and experimental release so far "Whole Lotta Red", as well as the epic bootleg compilation "Whole Lotta Leaks & Beyond" which fans curated and hyped in the wake of the build up to the shocking left turn Carti would eventually take. The gang discusses how defining this era was for Carti's relationship with leaks, his artistic evolution in changing up nearly everything about his sonic style, and especially how the reception of this album has changed form it's initial mixed reviews when it dropped. As well, how important this album ended up being legacy-wise in the creation of Rage and future rapper's sounds today. Along the way, the Patrique and Kittenpuke discuss their continued push that Violent J is a better rapper than Eminem, the (slow) improvement of Shaggy's rap abilities, and how ICP as a whole has been misrepresented and digged at by musical media outlets for their abilities when they really didn't deserve it. Redactie: Stijn GoossensSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Welcome back to the Nyam & Trod podcast, Drink & A Natter with JuicyChef! It's only fitting that our 10th episode is the first for Season 3. Our founder and host, Jacqui Sinclair, aka JuicyChef is back in her garden under the gazebo with her dogs and the birds in the background conversing with guests over delicious drinks. The season opener focuses on tea culture. Jacqui is 'potty" about tea, pun fully much intended. Our guests, Patrique Goodall of Likkle Tea, the island's first tea sommelier and Eileen Dunkley Shim of Netty's Farm, are involved with tea and kombucha, beverages not normally associated with the Caribbean. These mavericks are carving a niche for themselves in the ancient arts of tea and kombucha making while injecting intentional and distinctly sophisticated Jamaican twists in the range of flavours they carry. While sampling Eileen's new range of delightful "in season" flavoured kombucha's and sipping on Patrique's addictive dessert inspired "coconut pone" oolong tea, the ladies discuss how their businesses survive the pandemic in an age of supply chain issues and inflationary costs. Other topics covered include how temperatures, brewing and seeping alter flavour, bush teas, low technology fermentation - SCOBY, Jamaica's unique botany being a source of inspiration for recipe development and educating the public on the health benefits of their products. Follow us and our guests on Instagram @nyamandtrod @likkletea and @nettysfarm where you will be able to view the drinks of the episode. Subscribe on www.nyamandtrod.com for monthly food and drink recipes. Watch past podcast episodes on our Nyam & Trod YouTube channel. An artist that recently both have really gotten into and feel is massively underrated for the amount of content, quality and time they've been grinding in the online Hip Hop world. Despite his previous label's best efforts to make him stay silent he's been releasing music steadily even past his key mixtapes (including the ones most don't know about) and the podcast is happy to shine a light on them and the bursting personality and hidden dynamics of eXquire as a rapper. If there's one lesson to be taught this episode it's that there's a lot more to the man then "Last Huzzah". Come listen and find out! Hier is Anke. LinksMede-initiatiefnemers Breekjaar: Patrique Zaman (Pi), Lucas Wirtz, Michiel Stadhouders, Dolf HautvastMaurice Kimman, Maurits Hofman, Annelien HospesMarien Baerveldt, Joost den BoonZielzichtYoungworksKnowmadsAgora ScholenHawaiian Roller Coaster Ride (Lilo&Stitch)Aflevering: 15. Even niks hoeven leek me leuk.

We love sailing on foreign waters and exploring the world. That's exactly why we decided this time to launch an exclusive collection of pearls - which, by the way, have been waiting for a long time to see the light of day - on the market! We call our newest work of art "Intercultural Nodes" because it is exactly what we embody. Let's go through them one by one. With "Ego & ID", the Polish-based artist Indygo has given us a phenomenal downtempo symbiosis that is a perfect starting shot for the constellation. We continue with "Yerevan 2051" by the Armenian living artist Arni Rock whose demo inspired us from day one on. We are happy to welcome him on the latest sampler as well! Yannick Müller - who is living in Switzerland - protected another pearl, called Ishani, which already waits for an eternity to see the light of day. With Novo our newest catalogue number is finished, Patrique gave the whole story a little drive with some brasilian accents soundcloud : https://soundcloud.com/indygoxoxo facebook: https://www.facebook.com/indygoxoxo/ beatport: https://www.beatport.com/artist/indygo/180615 sc: https://soundcloud.com/guesthouseberlin facebook: https://www.facebook.com/guesthouseberlin/ site: https://guesthouseberlin.org

Tapwatr's second EP on Digital Diamonds is a strong message to the type of world which we are living in today. Crunching down the frequencies, Tapwatr explains what he thinks about end. But in his very recognizable way of producing pumping music he shows a solution how to start making the world better on the dancefloor. With amazing support by René Patrique, Theme Fe and Knifestyle, already seen on former releases on Digital Diamonds, this EP got really brilliant.

We'll name three celebrities that his wife has interacted with. You tell us which one kissed her on the lips. 1) Kurt Russell, 2) Charo or 3) David Crosby. A: Charo! Cuchi! Cuchi! Congratulations to this week's winner, Patrique Osbourne! Patrique is a reigning champion so the prize goes to the next fastest answer and that was Dan Leuders!
