Hello Rank Squad! It's time to get stuck into this summer's international football, so here's the second of our series of Euro 2024 Preview Shows! We start with Group C, which include England's Three Lions who got to the final of the last tournament, a pessimistic Serbia looking for a bright end to a talented core, an ageing Denmark side who have opted for experience over change, and underdogs Slovenia, boasting talent at both ends. Then it's onwards in Part Two to discuss tournament favourites France, a Netherlands side that should probably be better than they are right now, dark horses Austria under Ralf Rangnick's distinct style, and a Poland team who squeaked through to the tournament in the playoffs. We talk each team's chances of progression and outright victory, as well as the players upon which their dreams will rise and fall, and the managers trying to guide their nations to glory. If you haven't already, go back and listen to yesterday's episode discussing Groups A & B; and tomorrow we'll round off this series with the lowdown on Groups E and F. It's Ranks! And remember, if you'd like more from the Rank Squad, including extra podcasts every Monday and Friday (including our weekly Postbox taking a look at the whole weekend of football) and access to our brilliant Discord community, then why not join us here on Patreon?

This week on the show Maine and Miranda recap every ADCC North American Trials final for the 2024 qualifier. We also preview One FC Tye vs Michell and Kade vs Lo, and Subversive Ffion vs Griffith. In the news section of the show we discuss Ethan Crelinsten receiving an ADCC invite for -66kg. In the recap section of the show we talk about every West Coast 2024 ADCC Trials final. Kicking off the recap with Men's -66kg divisio Deandre Corbe vs Keith Krikorian With Deandre berimbilo roll to back take and score 3 points then scoring again with the hooks for another 3 points to punch his ticket to the ADCC World Championships in 2024. In -77kg we saw Andrew Tackett vs Oliver TazaWith Andrew Tackett proving everyones pick correct pulling a flying triangle to wrestle up and inversion early in the match then diligent counter wrestling and takedowns to score points and earn his trials qualifying slotIn the -88kg division we saw a rematch between William Tackett vs Jay RodriguezWith Tackett comeing out quick and jumping the back and Jay Rod reversing to top before the points. Shortly after we see Jay Rod escape side control off of a takedown and Tackett pulls reverse mount into the legs to hit a double one armed toe hold finish just 3:05 into the match. In -99kg with Adam Bradley vs Michael PixleyWe talk about the sweep, and lack of points scored. We talk about how Pixley back take turned into a half guard to deep half to sweep, and that the sweep comes down to the control, and you think that Adam controlled for 3 seconds or only 2.5 seconds in bursts. In +99kg we talk about David Vs Goliath in Vince Pezzutto vs Mike PerezWith Mike countering a shot from Vince with head and arm then essentially cow catchers early. Then in OT Perez with better snap downs and a guillotine snap on a guard pull for at least 40 seconds, followed by a scramble by Perez up to not get the -1 The Perez taking the clean decision (as the small guy). In the Women's -55kg division we see Jasmine Rocha vs Alex EnriquezWith Jasmine winning by RNC in 7:32. At -65kg we talk about the East Coast ADCC Trials 2023 rematch of Helena Crevar vs Mo BlackWith Crevar working an Uchi Mata early and hitting an inverted roll through to the leg entries then a sweep into the points hits right after, with Crevar intercepting Mo sitting back to come up for 2 with very (good timing) then her wrestling a front snap down followed by a nice turn over to mount to win the match 6-0 for Crevar. Creatures that are similar to the North American Bigfoot have been sighted on every continent except Antarctica, Australia based author and researcher George Mitrovic told host George Noory. While they vary in size, from the seven to eight foot tall Bigfoot to smaller creatures, they are all examples of hairy wild men, Mitrovic said. Over the course of his research, he's tracked recorded sightings as far back as the first settling of the West Coast of North America, and he noted that Native American lore about the creatures stretched back even further. Mitrovic said he couldn't say for sure, but opinions were split on whether the creatures seen were more human or more animal. He believes the entities seen around the globe are all related when questioned about the relationship between Bigfoot and the Himalayan Yeti. He noted that while the Yeti was sometimes seen in the high mountain snow fields, they likely lived lower down the mountains where food sources would be more abundant. Mitrovic also questioned why a creature hadn't been shot and killed by a hunter yet, given the large number of recreational hunters in North America.Surprisingly, while Bigfoot is associated with the Pacific Northwest, with some of the earliest recorded sightings coming out of Northern California, Mitrovic said there were more sightings from the area around and near Los Angeles. He also said with the proliferation of trail cameras and thermal cameras, it might only be a matter of time before one is captured on film. “You might start seeing other things you wouldn't have expected,” he added. “Bigfoot might be one of them.” Mitrovic also touched on his research with portals and other cryptids before taking listener questions. -----------------------------------Psychic and medium Patti Negri is a self-described “good witch.” In the second half of the program, she talked about her journey in Wicca, and her life as a medium. “I actually think I was born that way, while I was a little kid in my suburban Long Beach home,” she told George. She said her mom would ask her why she was picking wild herbs and placing them in her purse, and only as an adult did she learn that the herbs she was picking were used in spells to attract money. She said one of the benefits of witchcraft is being able to take control of your own fate. “Water runs downhill, and life in its normal path will just kind of run downhill. To me, witchcraft means I'm going to build a dam.” Continuing the analogy, she said bad magic would be hoarding all of that water once you'd built the dam – instead of sharing the blessing – and that has negative karmic impacts. “What you put out, you get back three times, (and that's) not even karma. So why would I put out hexes and curses? Why not put out love and abundance?” She also discussed her experience as a “good vibes” vampire, and how that differs from the traditional idea of blood drinking vampires, as well as the different types of education she has experienced and the educational opportunities she offers.Negri then touched on her work with ghost hunters like Zak Bagans, and the popularity of haunted items such as haunted dolls. She told George not all haunted dolls were bad and that, like people, most ghosts weren't bad either. She closed the program by answering listener questions and providing quick readings on areas of concern. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/georgenoory/message

Move over, Mitrovic! There's a new goalscoring hero in SW6, and his name is Rodrigo Muniz. Tristan Poturicic and Don Love join Sam Dymond to discuss some Brazilian brilliance in a rare home win against Bournemouth, a final full of Fulham at Afcon, blue cards and bank sheets, and the upcoming clash with Aston Villa.
We are rejoined by prolific author of over 100 books, George Mitrovic. Our topic today is only the end of the world. Almost. Why do all cultures have a flood myth from a similar time period? Many researchers agree that this occured at the end of theYounger Dryas. What is the Younger Dryas? We answer that. When was the Younger Dryas? We answer that. Did it end the Ice Age or extend it? We answer those as well. What's a glacial ,maxim? We answer that. Why would Mammoths be trekking over 2 miles high ice ranges? They wouldn't. Any more than they'd go swimming or gather in the back of tight caves. Yet their remains are found in these very places, including flash frozen preserved animals. We explore and explain why and how. Were the wars of the gods meteorites striking Earth as comets or other space objects broke up in our atmosphere creating havoc on Earth. Such havoc that land masses moved. Such impact that the North Pole was actually shifted. This was the great cataclysm. Ragnorak, the revolt of Lucifer, the Titanachomy, etc. Mitrovic provides the data and the places and date ranges when and where these huge strikes hit and changed everything that restarted everything.
Stamford Chidge & Jonathan Kydd are joined by Clayton Beerman to look back at a miserable night in Middlesbrough and ahead to Saturday's match against Fulham. In part one we look back at the shocking 1-0 defeat to Middlesbrough in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final. It was all so predictable - concede first and can't break a side down. Defensive errors are still rife. Injuries yes, inexperience yes but no excuse for a lack of desire, football intelligence and execution. It's only half-time – 1-0 down and should be retrievable but…is Pochettino's position really in jeopardy? In part two we welcome back Dom Betts from The Fulhamish Podcast to 'The Opposition View'. We discuss Fulham's season so far , has it been a bit up and down? How have they coped without Mitrovic? How is Willian doing? Can you get to the Carabao final and what would he think of a Chelsea v Fulham final? And we ask Dom how he sees it going on Saturday and what is his prediction? In part three JK reports back on todays the presser and Chidge reveals his team selection. Chelsea's home form is good and Fulham's away form is poor. Chelsea have not lost to Fulham at home in the league since 1979 but we have a poor recent record in London Derbies winless in 11 out of the last 15 matches. If we win, we could go above Man U, Newcastle and Brighton into 7th, so there is much to play for but how tough will it be against a Fulham who are now clicking under Silva? We discuss how we see it going and give our predictions and wrap up with 'They Played for Both' Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

It was the first trip we've had with fans to Brentford's new, multi-coloured seat ground, and I think we can all agree it wasn't a particularly fun one, as Fulham came out on the wrong side of a 3-2 scoreline. We analyse Fulham's frailties in the match, ask if the squad are fatigued, and lament some questionable referee decisions. We also answer your questions on Andreas Pereira, Marco's substitutions and even the future of Mitrovic.
