In this episode we talk about our wins and struggles over the past week, and we answer questions from you, the listeners. Questions:Question #1: I'm a 48-year-old high school teacher, I'm a highly active individual committed to maintaining my physical fitness. I was an athlete growing up and now continue to lead an active lifestyle. I engage in 4 high intensity group fitness classes a week. I also play tennis 2 days a week. I get 15,000+ steps a day. I have been struggling to achieve my desired fat loss goals and have been stuck at a body fat percentage of 30% for the past two years. Additionally, I experience consistent fatigue, exhaustion, and aches and pains, which are interfering with my overall well-being.Hormesis, overtraining, stress management, doing the least amount as possible to elicit the optimal amount of change, shifting workouts based on recovery (mindset of staying consistent), HRV/recovery tracker, other pillars of health better be dialed in if you're stressing the movement pillar (alcohol, sleep, diet),Question #2:  What are the benefits of Cardio?Cardiovascular system, mental health, longevity, endurance, best forms of cardio (rucking, hills, something you enjoy but avoid repetitive movements Question #3: I know protein is so important, and when I eat at home I can get my protein goal pretty well, but when I go out I'm having a hard time tracking and selecting foods to hit my goal, I usually fall short on the weekends which takes my weekly average below what I need. 3 rules to follow with buyers in 2021 The first rule: buyers want a house, not an agent.  Always be leading with the property.  When following up with buyers, call with a property that matches for them.  The second rule: have a full buyer presentation process dialed in.  buyer guide.  Email questionnaire,  if a buyer says “I want to buy next year” say “great, now is a great time to get started”   The third rule: pre-screen them for the market.  Show them comparables that sold,  show them a list of ways to make their offer stronger,  set expectations with them to make sure they are prepared for the market. Amazon.com, Google, Facebook and a range of global digital platforms are facing a regulatory onslaught in the EU, as the European Commission floats a plan for a comprehensive overhaul designed to tackle digital “gatekeepers,” market concentration and online services. The biggest change is a new tool to investigate markets and impose behavioral or structural remedies — even when no company has been found to be in violation of competition laws. If adopted, the suite of proposals would mark a turning point in the EU’s regulatory battle with Big Tech.

But why? Long before they gained a bad reputation, it seemed to researchers, scientists and doctors as though psychedelics were going to be the new wonder drugs for mental illnesses. They promised to treat conditions like alcoholism, depression and anxiety without the side effects associated with conventional drugs. But unfortunately, in the 1960’s, there was a backlash against the counter-culture who had embraced psychedelics and all further research was banned. Now, decades later, the world is in the grip of a mental health crisis. But thankfully, there is a glimmer of hope – research has recently begun again on the amazing potential of LSD, DMT and psilocybin. This week, I sit down with Michael Pollan to take a deep dive into this extraordinary world. We explore the remarkable history of psychedelics, the findings of the current research in this area and Michael shares his own personal experiences with psychedelics under the guidance of therapists. Happy New Year and welcome to Season 4 Finale! What an incredible year this has been! At Wellpreneur we interviewed the most amazing guests, released The Wellpreneur Planner and I had the pleasure of speaking at some pretty great events, one of which was UK Health Coaches Association Conference. The keynote speaker at the conference was Dr. Rangan Chatterjee, British physician, author, TV presenter and podcaster, best known for his TV show Dr. In the House. He's also the resident doctor on BBC1 breakfast show and a frequent radio guest and author of the bestselling book called The 4 Pillar Plan, and as we are recording this fantastic interview he is releasing his latest book The Stress Solution. But the main reason I called Dr. Chatterjee on the show is because he is a wellpreneur. As a physician he is regularly seeing patients, but what makes him a wellpreneur is the fact that he is looking at his career in a different light and he wanted to see how he could impact the most people, so today he is sharing his amazing career path from GP to reaching people on a much larger level: through television, radio, writing and podcasting. The other reason I was so eager to interview Dr. Chatterjee is because he is a huge fan of health coaching and strongly advocates for it to become integrated in regular health care, and because his books are such useful tools to wellpreneurs out there. It's really great to see such an influential physician talking about how health coaches and doctors can work together, not only in the UK, but in variety of other health care systems where doctors are either overworked, or they don't have the time or training to help patients make the lifestyle change which is something where health coaches can provide the most value. His vision is that there will be a health coach in every doctor's office within the next few years. We also talk about stress today, and the way Dr. Chatterjee is managing stress himself and how he is helping others reduce it. What I really liked is the idea of touch and using touch to help reduce stress.
