It's, there are gonna be times where the body has to adjust. It has to get used to what you're doing, and then it allows for the chance to reevaluate.” 20:15: “Don't completely change what you've been doing and go to another plan and jump ship because it's just a good time to assess, to say, okay, when I'm in a caloric deficit, my body is stressed. You know, metabolism does start to decrease, especially if you are losing weight.” 25:04: “I think increasing walking or increasing steps is probably one of the best things to do too. So if the diet's in check, exercise is in check, and you don't wanna add in any extra sessions because we know that that's not the best way to go about stimulating those adaptations, walking is probably the best thing to do.” 28:12: “We never wanna look at anything from an acute perspective. And, you know, as opposed to metformin, these GLP-1 agonists work, you know, against gluons. Obviously, glucagon breaks down glycogen molecules to get glucose in the blood, but if you're having issues with glucose control. That's the last thing you wanna have happen.” 2:34: “So a lot of these people that are taking the drug are seeing anywhere from five, 10% even greater than that in terms of their body weight and weight loss. You can imagine if somebody's overweight or obese and they're. Pushing almost 300 pounds, you lose 10% of your body weight. That's 30 pounds.” 4:13: “So what they found was everybody had made some type of progress, but it was definitely pretty significant what the differences were. Exercise in the control group didn't really move the needle on these individuals losing much weight. Those that actually took the drug lost a decent amount of weight, but those, that combined exercise with the drug lost the most.” 5:58: “That's one big concern is when you're on medications for a long time. We don't know the long-term issues with it. What actually is gonna happen to some of these people because, you know, it can affect your different organs, it can affect the kidneys, it can affect, potentially the heart and brain.” 7:19: “I would wanna look at is, cool you lost weight, but what has it done to your internal systems? Do you have excessive inflammation? Has it affected your testosterone, your hormone function? What is it doing to your blood glucose control over time?
