What does it really mean when the Department of Education says it wants to “return education to the states”? Critics argue that shifting offices to other agencies and merging federal grants may reduce oversight rather than increase state power, creating confusion and weakening accountability. With only about 10% of K–12 funding coming from the federal level, analysts warn that this restructuring could leave schools facing uneven support and wider disparities. (Source: The Washington Post)
“What's Buggin' You” segment for Tuesday 11-4-25
Tony Woodlief breaks down how federal funding impacts state autonomy, noting that Missouri relies on federal dollars for 46% of its revenue. He explains how federal money often comes with mandates that limit state and local control, especially in education where federal funds make up just 14% but drive curriculum and policy requirements. Woodlief argues for reining in federal spending, increasing state oversight of federal grants, and restoring decision-making power to local communities.
Today we're talking about the growing controversy surrounding America's relationship with Israel, and the disturbing pattern of censorship that follows anyone who dares to even question it. Why are discussions about foreign influence and government transparency being shut down? Why are prominent voices silenced the moment they speak against powerful interests? We're asking the uncomfortable questions no one in the mainstream media wants to touch, from the suppression of speech to the "alliances" shaping U.S. policy, and praising those few, like Candace Owens, who refuse to back down in the pursuit of real justice and truth. This episode isn't about taking sides, it's about demanding honesty, accountability, and the freedom to ask hard questions without fear.

Do your emotions control you—or are you ready to control them?In Part 3 of Clearing Limiting Beliefs & Reprogramming the Subconscious Mind, Dr. David Snyder dives deeper into the process of emotional release and subconscious reprogramming. This episode explores how unresolved emotions shape behavior, limit growth, and keep you trapped in repetitive cycles—often without your awareness.Dr. Snyder walks you through practical methods for identifying, feeling, and releasing emotional blocks stored in the body. He emphasizes that real healing doesn't come from avoiding pain, but from fully acknowledging and transforming it.If you've ever felt like you're doing the inner work but nothing seems to change, this episode will help you understand why—and how to finally break through the mental and emotional barriers holding you back.Quotes:"Dissociation never leads to resolution. It leads to stagnation.""When you finally get the emotion clear and you've done an actual intervention that's leading to resolution, you will have a spontaneous epiphany about that experience." "When you see the emotions come up, let them come up and out. Don't try to lock them down. Don't try to repress them. Don't try to manage them. Let them come out. That's what makes you sick."Actionable Takeaways:Acknowledge emotional resistance. Instead of suppressing discomfort, observe it without judgment. Resistance often signals the area most in need of healing.Use the “point to where you feel it” technique. Physically locating sensations helps bring subconscious emotions into conscious awareness.Let emotions complete their cycle. Allow yourself to feel the full emotion—without suppressing it—so the energy can naturally release.Reframe emotional meaning. Ask, “What is this emotion trying to teach me?” to turn pain into insight.Anchor new emotional patterns. This week, Jackie and Peter discuss Peter's recent writing, including his article in The Hub titled “Increasing Canada's Energy Ambition is an Economic and Geopolitical Imperative” as well as two other pieces, “Geoeconomics and State Capitalism” and “The Cost of Being a Market Hostage.” Peter argues that Canada must raise its level of ambition to compete in today's geoeconomic and geopolitical environment—one where markets are shaped less by free trade and more by state power, economic coercion, and the strategic use of industries to advance geopolitical objectives. In this new order, the effects of tariffs, sanctions, control of trade routes, and dominance over critical resources are felt daily on the global stage. Yet Canada is not showing up as a true contender. The country remains passive, heavily dependent on the United States for oil and gas exports, at significant cost to the economy. Peter outlines four levels of ambition that Canada could pursue. At the lowest level, the nation remains a “market hostage,” reflecting its current state in oil and gas. A modest step up would be the role of “competitor,” in which new tidewater export capacity expands Canada's reach. Moving further, Canada could become a “negotiator,” able to leverage energy exports as a bargaining chip in international relations. At the highest level, Canada could aspire to be an “aggressor,” a country that wields genuine market power in vital resources—similar to the way China has achieved influence through state control of strategic industries. What does it look like to practice Christianity in a country where the government controls religious expression? Jolie, a Chinese Christian, takes us behind the scenes of faith life in modern China, revealing a fascinating world where state churches require government-approved sermons and where house churches operate in a delicate balance with authorities.Raised in China and introduced to Christianity at age eight, Jolie initially viewed God as "almost like a genie" - someone to pray to only when she needed something. It wasn't until facing major life disappointments and a near-death experience that her faith transformed into a genuine relationship with Christ. Her journey eventually led her to Wisconsin Lutheran College in America before returning to her homeland with a deeper understanding of biblical teaching.Jolie offers rare insights into how Chinese Christians navigate cultural pressures in a society obsessed with worldly success. She explains her countercultural decision to stay home with her children in a country where career advancement is paramount and where even having more than one child - despite the relaxation of the one-child policy in 2016 - remains uncommon. "They've developed this culture where both grandparents take care of this one grandchild, and then the parents will be working," she explains. "A lot of my other friends feel like even one child is too much because they want to make sure they have enough time and energy for their career."The conversation explores fascinating aspects of Chinese culture, from the challenges of eldercare in a society with strong filial piety values to the unexpected ways Christianity persists and even thrives under restrictions. For anyone interested in global Christianity, family dynamics in different cultures, or the resilience of faith under challenging circumstances, this episode provides thoughtful perspective on how believers maintain their convictions while navigating complex cultural and political realities.Have questions about faith, family, or other life challenges? In this episode of Passing Judgment, Jessica Levinson unpacks the legal battle between California and the Trump administration over the federalization of the National Guard in Los Angeles. She explains the statutes at play, including the limits of the Posse Comitatus Act and the potential use of the Insurrection Act. Jessica details Judge Breyer's ruling in favor of California, outlines the key legal questions for the upcoming Ninth Circuit hearing, and gives insight into the judges involved in this high-profile case. Here are three key takeaways you don't want to miss: Presidential Power to Federalize the National Guard: Jessica Levinson opens by explaining the legal mechanisms the president attempted to use to federalize the National Guard and send them, along with Marines, into Los Angeles. She breaks down the relevant federal statute (Title 10, Section 12406), which gives the president limited power to federalize the National Guard under specific conditions, such as responding to rebellion or when federal law can't be enforced with regular forces. The Scope and Limits of Military Involvement – The Posse Comitatus Act: Jessica addresses the significance of the Posse Comitatus Act, which generally prohibits the use of the military for domestic law enforcement. Even if the National Guard is federalized, their direct involvement in law enforcement (like making arrests) is limited unless a separate statute (the Insurrection Act) is invoked. The Insurrection Act as an Exception: She describes how the Insurrection Act is an exception to the Posse Comitatus Act, allowing the military to more directly handle law enforcement under certain conditions (such as widespread unlawful conduct or when state authorities can't protect federal rights). She provides historical examples, such as federal intervention during desegregation in the 1950s and 1960s, and the Rodney King riots in 1992.Follow Our Host: @LevinsonJessica

The Department of Education is cutting 50% of its work force. This is a good step towards elimination of state control over the education of our children, however, will this lead to a complete end, or will this progress plateau? Education is one of the places that the war of ideas burns the hottest, and every parent should be deeply involved in their child's education. It isn't enough to hand your children over to the government to be raised. Christian parents need to take a stand against all state control over education. This program includes:1. Marc & Kim bring you a jam-packed show today, tackling a range of pressing issues from politics to scandals, and sports to personal experiences. Hour 1: The debate over state control of the St. Louis Police Department intensifies, with local police unions supporting the move due to failures under local leadership and staffing shortages. Despite resistance from Mayor Tashara Jones and other city leaders, advocates argue that state control will improve funding allocation, officer recruitment, and crime prevention. The conversation shifts to a St. Louis nonprofit scandal where $7 million in taxpayer money meant for children was misused for lavish lifestyles. The Trump administration is credited for exposing this corruption and triggering accountability. Kim opens up in Kim on a Whim about how political divides are fracturing friendships, particularly between conservatives and liberals. She shares how moments in White Lotus resonate with her experience as a Christian conservative losing friends and family over political differences. My guest today is Roger Huang, an author, journalist on Forbes, Bitcoin Magazine and more, and a Bitcoin advocate, whose work bridges the intersection of Bitcoin, geopolitics, economics, and history. Roger is the author of “Would Mao Hold Bitcoin?”, an exploration of Bitcoin's potential within China's political and monetary landscape. From the impact of inflation on historical events like Tiananmen Square to the implications of digital surveillance and central bank digital currencies, Roger provides a comprehensive analysis of how Bitcoin can challenge state control and empower individuals. In this episode, we explore Roger's journey from his roots in China to his upbringing in Canada, and how his disillusionment with the traditional financial system inspired him to advocate for Bitcoin as a tool for freedom and decentralization. Humanity is experiencing profound global changes due to incoming galactic frequencies and the arrival of our ancient extraterrestrial ancestors that are causing millennia-old control systems to crumble. Negative extraterrestrial overlords and their human minions (aka Deep State) are being exposed and will be made accountable for the heinous crimes they have committed, according to a veteran ET contactee and author, James Gilliland. He states that our extraterrestrial ancestors are highly evolved benevolent beings that are making contact with receptive humans all over our planet. The Deep State is making every effort to prevent such contacts to delay the monumental changes that are coming to our planet. It behooves those seeking to free our planet from negative control to make contact with the benevolent extraterrestrials who are helping clear the remaining bastions of negative ET/Deep State power. Gilliland has spent 40 years promoting Enlightened Contact with Extraterrestrial Intelligence (ECETI) protocols through his ranch at Mt Adams, Washington. He and many visitors to the ECETI Ranch have experienced direct contact with extraterrestrials, ascended masters, celestials, Inner Earth beings, and many other entities. In addition, he and visitors have taken thousands of pictures and videos of UFOs around Mt Adams, and also at his new ranch on the Big Island of Hawaii. James Gilliland recently released an Urgent Message to Humanity which is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIP7iLouBIk His website is: https://www.eceti.org/ --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/exopoliticstoday/support
