In this episode, we totally break with tradition and have shared the raw, unfiltered version with you. When I went back to edit, there was just too much amazing background conversation that I really wanted to share. Kimberly Braun had been a guest previously. As a TED X speaker, mystic, teacher, author, former nun, minister, and so much more, we had a heart expanding conversation on episode #66 that ended up talking about her experience with chanting. I've been curious about chanting for a while and really wanted to go deeper with this, so asked her to come back on the show and share some chants with us. As we prepared, we ended up talking in beautiful detail about what the chants mean, the history and origin of each chant and the best way to experience them. So not only will you get the opportunity to experience several different kind of chants, but you'll have some further insight into what feelings they may evoke and what the intentions were behind them. What a beautiful gift for Kimberly to come back and share this with us. I really leaned in to the feelings and experience and loved every minute. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did. She work to create calm, peace and healing though energetic work including inner child exploration, journaling and crystal connecting. As a people pleaser, I know how complicated it is. It feels like it's part of who we are and how we like to give and show up for others. But when can it be not so good for us, or even not so good for those that we care most about? When does it get unhealthy, inauthentic, and maybe even keep us stuck and unhappy in ways? In this interview with Amy Smith Green - who is amazing - we discuss WHY we people please, how to feel into when it's not serving you, beginning to notice when you do it, how to shift so that you can operate from your highest, best version of yourself and feel deeper calm, happiness AND connection. We all have childhood trauma of some kind. Even if it wasn't trauma with a capital T, we each had needs which weren't met which can be subconsciously driving us to unhealthy patterns and behaviours. In this episode author JJ Digeronimo gets real about being real with ourselves. So often we can get caught up in the going and doing of life, taking us down a fast moving path where we miss so many of the things that are really important to us and may not even be where we want to be going anyway anymore. Sometimes, we haven't even checked to see if the life we we are living is aligned with who we are. JJ shares her story about waking up and connecting with her authentic truth and why it's so important for us to live intentional lives that we love. Her book Seeking is a beautiful way to start, as well as just hearing her talk about how she became connected to herself, found her own inner light and how she helps others do the same.In the episode we talk about: The importance of shifting from survival to thrivingHow we forget to align life with joy and how to shift backWhy we sometimes forget who we are and why we're here and how to get back to itWhat energetics are and how they can affect your lifeHow mindfulness can create purpose and fulfillmentWhy everyone (including men) should tap into more of their feminine energy hint – it's about allowing and feelingWhy driving hard makes us feel unfulfilledHow to pull a thought from your head to your heartHow perfectionism keeps us from deep connectionWe hit a lot of deep topics, but the heart of our convo centered around when we slow down and connect with ourselves, we give ourselves the opportunity to take stock of who we are and how we want to live, which then gives us the beautiful invitation for transformational change. We all deserve a soul filling life, but the first crucial part is to slow down and tap in to even know what that is. I LOVE my Hermes bracelet. My girlfriends gave it to me on my birthday and it symbolizes so much more than the beautiful piece of jewelry that it is. To mean it feels like friendship, connection, my old life in Florida, good wine, boat rides, raising our kids, long phone calls, shopping trips to Sassy Boutique, tennis matches on clay courts, days at the beach, drinks at the tiki bar, great memories, laughter, and girlfriends who have stood by me through anything and everything and make me feel like coming home every single time I visit. In this episode I have the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Aaron Ahuvia, professor at University of Michigan at Dearborn, who is also author of the book The Things We Love and all around world renowned expert on psychology of brand love. We start our convo talking about our connection to things, which was the original intention of the interview, but we end with healing stories and discussion about the importance of compassion for ourselves. Of course. It always goes there, doesn't it? Some highlights we get into:What luxury brands really mean to us and what they symbolize to othersWhy only the bravest men will drive mini vansHow people fall in love with each other and how we present ourselves in the dating worldWhat are the similarities in the way we love people and the way we love thingsWhat the best brands invoke within usWhy loving the things you already own is the key to happiness What you really learn about yourself by realizing/noticing what things you loveHow to clear out the energy in items that an ex gave youOur ability to be fluid in our beliefs and in lifeA better way to view mistakes than self criticismI thought this conversation was going to be about love and the difference between loving people and things. At a recent party a close friend of mine asked me if I had gotten hot flashes yet. My response was: "I don't know, what does that feel like? How would I know." She laughed and then responded - "OHHHHH honey, you would KNOW!" This sparked my interest in menopause and perimenopause. I basically knew liternally nothing. This was not something my mom EVER mentioned and my friends haven't really talked much about it either. So this episode was truly inspired by me wanting to know what to expect. What happens to our bodies? When does it start? What can we do to make it easier/better/less....hard? In this episode I interview Integrative Health Practitioner Sheryl Carroll who is younger than me (by a FEW years!) and has become an expert on perio/menopause as a result of her own experience. In the episode we talk about: The difference between perimenopause and menopauseWhen do symptoms start and how can we reduce the impact of themHow genetics vs lifestyle factor inWhen does perimenopause start and whyWhat are things that can make it worseHow stress affects menopauseWhich hormones are changing and howStages of perimenopauseThe age ranges that perimenopause can start What are symptoms of perio menopause and menopauseHow HRT works and how to know if it's right for youWhat supplements and herbs can help the most This conversation covers SO much on this topic, most importantly, that there are things we can do TODAY to slow down the arrival of menopause and we have lots of choices how to handle it when it arrives. There is zero reason this needs to be such a mystery and there are a TON of resources out there. So reassuring. After a devastating diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in her mid 20's, Traci Hill decided to make some changes. Through health and wellness focused experimentation and practices, she completely changed her life and is now totally symptom free. Traci healed herself by starting with healing her heart, and the results were nothing short of remarkable. Along the way she realized that the power to change and choose better was inside of her and she had been giving away that power her entire life. The beauty of that? In the episode we talk about: How important it is to take charge of your own wellness and healingThe body's incredible ability to heal itself through intention and emotional well beingHow when we decide for ourselves how we want to feel and live we become empowered in our livesHow to release trapped emotions and how it can lead to physical healingConnecting to your intuition as a roadmap to healingWhy becoming heart centered is so important and how it can change the way you feel Reconnecting to your feminine energy and why it's importantA simple, easy first step to feeling better immediately Handling changing relationships during your own healing/growth journeyHow our energy connects to others and shifts and changes with our healingWhy love, peace and joy are so much easier than we make it out to beTraci's story is incredibly inspiring. Does your relationship fulfill you on a soul level? Do you connect with your partner in a conscious, deep way? Are you unsure about how to even start that conversation? Many relationships struggle to find deeper connection. Our busy, fast paced lives make slowing down and connecting meaningfully difficult, but the amazing news is - it IS possible - whether your relationship is new or you've been together a long time - it just takes a little courage, patience and intention. So how do you make it happen? What's the best way to offer the invitation in a heart centered, loving way that feels authentic, safe and allows vulnerability, creating that trust and openness? In this interview with Marc Wendt, we peel back the layers about intimacy and connection in relationships. We discuss the complexities of what most men really want and how to better understand what they're feeling. Marc shares practical ways to invite deeper discussions, how to gently nudge your partner (and yourself!) down the path to closer connection, leading to deeper intimacy. You may be surprised to realize that your partner is probably craving it just as much as you are. Some of the areas we hit:How to get connected into our bodies and why this helps us tap into our emotionsWhy becoming aware of our emotions actually makes us more powerfulHow breath work brings us into self-awareness and is the beginning of creating intimacy with another personWhere gratitude comes in and how it creates connectionWhy requests can feel like complaintsWhat emotional intelligence is and how to get itWhy tragedy is often the gateway to connecting to emotions for menWhy it's important to allow our partners to express themselves without having to fix itWhat is courageous curiosity and how it can really open up your relationshipThe importance of entering into creating intimacy with an open heart and assuming good Remembering it's a practice - the more you do it, the more depth you getWhat are triggers and how to regulate the nervous system through breathing like navy seals doThis interview was so inspiring. It made me realize that intimacy and connection truly is a practice. It takes time, patience, willingness and openness, but it really IS possible and most of the time it's what everyone involved truly - down to their soul - is really craving. It's a delicate dance to get there, but SOOOO worth the effort and is a precious gift to share with someone you love deeply. We all deserve beautiful, soul filling, heart centered, deep, connected, love. The pathway there begins through becoming aware of ourselves, knowing it's available, committing to it and then - here's the hardest part- actually opening up to it.This episode dives into this complex and nuanced topic in detail.Connect with Marc:Website: https://marcwendtcoaching.com/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/MarcWendtCoachingTwitter - https://twitter.com/MarcWendtCoachConnect with See The Upside:Website - www.SeetheUpside.comInstagram - @see.theupsideFacebook - See The Upside Your feedback means everything! If you love this episode, please share it with a friend or leave a review on Apple or Spotify xoxo

In this episode, Astrologer, Shaman and all around intuitive rockstar, Benjamin Bernstein reads my natal chart. We deep dive into all the ways I have opportunity to heal and grow, expand and blossom and live my very best life. I've always been fascinated with Astrology and how we are all unique intuitive beings connected to something greater than ourselves. I was aware of my sun sign (Virgo), Moon Sign (Aries) and Ascendant (Pisces) and the general idea of that they mean - Sun - your identity, who you are are your essenceMoon - how you feel, who you are when noone is watchingAscendant - how you present yourself to the world. But in this episode we deep dive into SOOOO much more and I was blown AWAY by the accuracy and insight Benjamin was able to provide from my chart. I felt incredibly inspired and validated. It explained so much and gave me some areas to really explore and celebrate in such a beautiful way. I highly recommend doing a reading if you're feeling stuck, confused, want to learn more about your purpose, understand your emotions and relationships better or are just plain curious. So much here!In the interview we touch on: How to tell the difference between an intuitive hit and a passing thoughtWhat my purpose is and how I can fully express it in the worldThe meaning of each of the planets and their position in my chartHow the houses fit in and what that means How to best approach relationships based on my chart What I should look for in a partner to make me feel most fulfilled and connectedWhat is a Yod and how it plays in your life purposeHow to be empathetic while protecting your own energyWhat happens when a planet is in it's own house (Jupiter is in my career house and in Sag)What is means for signs to be fixed, cardinal or mutableWhat's in store for me right now and how to maximize the energy in the universe at this momentLoved this SO much! I think we all like to do a little bit of decluttering for the new year. Getting rid of the old and changing up the things that no longer serve us. What we may not realize until we're actually doing it, is it can be really hard to let go. Why do we get so attached to things? Why do we want to hang on even when we know it's not good for us or when we may not even like something? In this episode with Conny Graf we talk about clutter. I'm not just talking about physical clutter, although we get into that too, it's the extra things we hang onto that take up space, energy in our head and our hearts that could actually be weighing us down, creating blocks and stopping us from becoming our highest, best version of ourselves. Simplifying and letting go of clutter can be so incredibly freeing. It feels light, clean, simple and open. It can lift us up and inspire us. And it allows us to really soak in and focus on the beauty and the things we love which become much more visible and clear when we declutter. In the episode we talk about: How to decide which items to keep when going through a loved ones itemsThe various kinds of clutter and how they're connectedHow clutter ties into worthinessHow to clean out your closet and why it can totally uplevel your mood for the entire dayWhy many people get overwhelmed with declutteringWhy the emotionally charged items are not where you want to beginWhy our environment has such a strong impact on how we feel What is a love tour and what it can tell you about your homeThe surprising place most women stash their clutterHow clutter factors into getting great sleepThe easy simple way to know if you should keep something or give it awayWhy we should be using our “special” things every day rather than hiding themWhich room to start decluttering in firstHow you can create incredible connection with someone over declutteringHow decluttering can help process traumaWhat are some ways you are hanging on to clutter? How can you currate a home and a life that is beautiful and elevates your consciousness and mood? This episode will get you thinking about it and help you navigate the obstacles that can come while decluttering. For the 50th episode - yay! And the last episode of 2022, it's only fitting to have the topic be around positive energy. We are all energetic beings that embody, create, share, exchange manifest and emit energy to each other. So wouldn't you want that energy to feel good, be positive, and to become a light that you share and shine on others? I think we all WANT to be that and feel that, but with life happening and obstacles in the way, it can be difficult to connect with that part of ourselves. In this episode, I speak with energy expert, Carolina Ayala. Carolina struggled with her own low vibrational energy caused by not living aligned with who she truly was. It was through consciously realizing this wasn't how and who she wanted to be, that she was able to shift her mindset, her energy and her life. In the episode we talk about: What is life force or Prana healing and how it can change your lifeHow to know when to put in effort and when to let go and allowWhat are the basic laws of energy How energy follows your intention and your intention creates your realityWhy applying the lessons we learn is so important to how we view life challengesHow working with your energy is like working out, it's a practice and results happen over time. Why being happy is a skill you can developHow we are conditioned to focus on problems and negativityWhy it's important to ask if you are intentionaly creating your reality or reacting to a situationHow separating our identity from our problems will relieve much of our suffering Why letting go of perfection on your personal growth journey is so important to progressHow to know if you are living focused on comparisonHarnessing our emotions and realizing they are information, but not necessarily the truth of what isHow to set the energy tone in a relationshipOne of my greatest goals on my own personal growth journey is to vibrate higher daily. To embody positivity, see the opportunity in the challenges and to share light with others. This conversation reminded me that this is a practice. That there is no arriving or mastering, but only continual expansion and growth and that through the realization that we aren't perfect and we aren't SUPPOSED to be perfect, but rather are on a quest to simply do our best every day, is so soul filling and inspiring. Mental health and emotional wellness are the foundation of feeling good and showing up as the best version of ourselves, but many of us don't know where to even begin. We may be feeling stuck, blocked, dissatisfied, less than, overwhelmed, unsettled, unhappy, confused or many other less-than-desirable ways of moving through life. The great news is that there's always a beautiful light at the end of the tunnel! To begin, it's making the decision to feel and do life better and getting to the root of our trauma so we can heal. It requires us to slow down, take stock, go within and get intimately connected with ourselves. This episode with Greg Wieting focuses on how to navigate owning our own mental wellness by having compassion and understanding for our trauma. He shares ways to tap into understanding where you are, how to start on the path of owning your mental health and get to feeling GOOD!Greg began by exploring his own healing as he navigated coming to terms with significant trauma. On his journey, he evaluated many holistic ways of healing and has now developed his own system to help others. In the interview we explore many of the themes Greg sees with his clients as he shares recommendations on how to embrace the journey and empowering ourselves with owning our own emotional well being. Some of the topics we dive into are:What is trauma informed healing How exploring your own healing can guide you to your purposeWhy understanding and regulating the nervous system is the beginning of mental wellnessNavigating fight or flight or please and appeaseHow non judgement and compassion comes into play in healing traumaWhy embodiment is so important when we are under stress and how to do itHow slowing down and taking a sacred pause can broaden our tolerance and leads to healingHow triggers can bring us back to the trauma event and what to do when that happensHow we experience emotion in our body Why triggers make our bodies respond as if the danger is realReorienting from pain to possibilityHow mental health is evolving to accept more holistic integrative systemsWhat if anxiety and depression are healthy responses to an unhealthy environmentHow our bodies can embody protective strategies that can be carried as weight like an armorThe difference between caring and taking care of someoneDoing relationship audits and why they're importantHow to handle dead ends in your healing journey and why they're importantEvery day we have the opportunity to choose to do life better. We are designed to feel GOOD and to have a happy, fulfilling life! We all deserve healing, and it begins with taking care of ourselves. Simply put, yoga has become a way of life for me of sorts. But it wasn't always that way. When I was first introduced to yoga, I had been a runner for years and I just wasn't sure whether I could get the same results in yoga that I did with running. Well I was right. I didn't get the same results. I got SO much more than I ever could have imagined. I got peace. Inner connection. Friendship. Inspiration. Intention. Healing. Reflection. Growth. Self awareness. Freedom. Love.Yoga is a mind, body spirit practice. It is a way to connect first and foremost with our bodies and our breath. But beyond that, it is a way of thinking, feeling and being. In this week's interview, I speak with one of my very favorite Yoga Instructors from Core Power Yoga at the Paradise Valley Location in Arizona, Amanda Sheble. Amanda and I connected immediately and I'm positive there was divine intervention going on in our meeting in this lifetime. In the interview we cover a LOT of spiritual and physical ground. Grieving affects all of us at some point in life. Whether it's grieving the death of a loved one or pet, the ending of a marriage or relationship, or even a life shift like a job change, move or child going off to college. These are all grief events and can be incredibly emotional and hard to process. Grief is confusing, complex, multi-faceted, erratic and is different for everyone. So how do we work through grief when we feel so overwhelmed? What are some tools we can use to allow ourselves to honor what was, but also give us the ability to function in the moment and eventually move forward without staying stuck? Are we supposed to let go? Hang on? Remember? Be sad? What if we feel guilty? Have regret? Are resentful or unbearably sad? Are we allowed to be happy again? Is that a betrayal? What should we share with others? Why is it so confusing and overwhelming? How can you feel ok one moment and the next so devastated? How can we ultimately honor our loss, accept what happened, have compassion for ourselves and learn to embrace life fully as it is now, after the grief event? In this interview with grief expert, Mandy Capehart, we break down all the elements of how to process grief. From navigating it for yourself to showing up for someone you care deeply about. Some of the topics covered in the interview are:What is grief and where does it show up in our lives? The reality is, there is no real roadmap, other than the one you make for yourself. But when you connect to what you are feeling and honor your needs we open up the road to healing. With election day around the corner, I wanted to expand my own awareness about politics in a creative way. Claire Campos-O'Neil is a mom, wife and realtor who ran for office in Texas. Although she didn't win, she learned a ton and thinks that it's time for women to step up and get more involved in the welfare of our communities. In our interview we talk about what it was like to run for office and why it's so important to have women involved in our government. Women bring a unique perspective and energy that prioritizes families and helps create family friendly resources that create a sense of community. Something we all need more of these days. Politics may be low on the priority list, I understand. But this episode may encourage you to expand what you believe politics is all about with some great ideas on how to make it interesting, easy, fun and fulfilling to get involved in a way that resonates with you. In the interview we cover: How to get interested in politics and why it's so importantHow women see the larger picture of how policies benefit the community at largeThe importance of creating a supportive community for our familiesWhat it's like for an ordinary person to run for office Finding an issue that you're passionate aboutHow to navigate friendships when you have differing political views What some of the biggest political issues are on the local levelWhat is emotional and social learning within the education system and why it's an important initiative for us to discuss Why it's important to always question your beliefsWhy it's ok to be gray on an issueWhy having women in government isn't a threat to men, it's value for the whole community The importance of exposing ourselves to people that challenge usWe actually have a lot more in common as Americans than we do differences and how focusing on our commonalities brings us to creative solutionsI have never been a super politically charged person, but we all have a responsibility to use our voices to ensure our communities are the best they can be for our families. This episode really opened my eyes to the many ways to get involved and how interesting and important politics really are. It's so simple to expand our knowledge these days. A podcast, a book, even just a conversation to open up to a new view on something. I hope you decide to lean in and expand your idea of what politics is and what it means to you. What if I told you that everything we've been taught about money is wrong? That the best thing you can do to manage and build your wealth is to totally reframe how you think about it? That's what this conversation with Chris Odegard is all about. Chris believes that we've all been given well meaning, but outdated advice. There are ways we can make our money work for us to create and manage significant wealth and freedom, even after divorce. In the interview we address so many areas of wealth including what being wealthy even means, (hint - freedom!), how we learn about money and why it's not a great place to frame our strategy from, how to get better advice and so many ways we can expand our beliefs and understanding of what's possible financially. Even if we're getting divorced late in life or have experienced signification frustration or loss financially. There is SO much great info here. Some of the topics we cover in the interview:Why being a conventional investor may not build the wealth you think it willHow creating assets that bring in revenue can give you incredible freedomWhy continuing to go to school isn't always the best way to building wealthWhat to do after divorce when your income and revenue streams are diminishedWhy changing the way you think about money is the most important first step to building wealthWhy debt isn't always bad Working as an employee may not allow you to build the wealth you really wantThe reality of your returns and tax benefits from a 401k and why there may be a better way to invest your moneyWhy the people you hang out with can influence your wealth statusWhat exactly is passive income and how you can create itThe best ways to expand your knowledge on money and investingHow to calculate the number that makes you rich that's unique to youHow tax codes determine our investment behavior and how to make them work for you I am wholeheartedly committed to expanding my own knowledge about money and investing and love getting new perspectives. Every little bit of information is valuable. Every conversation is an invitation to step up and embrace new possibilities and opportunities. I want all women to have freedom to live a life free from worry and stress about money. And we CAN! The first step is to believe it, the second step is to start learning and sharing as much as we can. We each have a story, and part of our story may be difficult to talk about, accept or even think about. But what do our stories really mean? How do they play a role in who we are and how they define us? What if we don't like our stories? How can we view them differently so that our stories work FOR us, so they lift us up, drive us forward and inspire us to be the best version of ourselves? In this interview with Jane Cebrynski, we get honest and real about hard stories and how to not only accept them, but leverage them. Jane is a Chief Well Being Officer with Champion Well Being, an organization that focuses on living life like athletes play sports - brilliant! The intention is to always be striving for better, to have a champion mindset, to let losses and obstacles serve as opportunities and to be in continual training. In the interview we cover: Living your life like an athlete trains for their sportHow you can apply a champion mind set to your lifeHow covid affected the athletic world, and how we can apply their adaptability strategiesThe importance of believing something is possibleHow to build resilience and positivity in the hard momentsWhy losses are even more important than the wins How to not stay stuck, focus on the lesson and being able to let go and move onWhy we sometimes identify with our hard stories in unhealthy waysWhat to do when an emotional “injury” comes up in life, how to reengage and why we need time to heal before we get back to our optimum pace of lifeWhy the best athletes are looking for constant improvement and how and why this is important in lifeHow growth can be an fun, an adventure and how it changes the growth experienceHow shame can hold us back from growthWhy the ending of some friendships after divorce is ok Why acknowledging our stories allows us to healWhy our brains want to make up stories about what other people are thinking and why it's a huge waste of time How to share your story openly, authentically, honestly in a healthy way. The question to ask before sharing your story I had a very hard divorce story and really struggled personally with a lot of heaviness around it. What I realized is that we CHOOSE how to view our story. We can proactively create healing around our story and reframe what it means. It takes time, intention, personal awareness, and willingness to do the work. It's not easy, but I can tell you, it's worth every moment. This week's episode dives into a modality that I've always been super curious about – EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) - also known as Tapping. EFT is a treatment that involves tapping on certain meridian points and repeating statements from the certified professional guiding you through the session. It's a beautiful synergy between the mystical, heartfelt healing modes and the scientifically proven nerve calming methods. Science + Mystical = YES! Lauren came to tapping as many of us get to our healing, through our own drive to heal and grow. Our journey tends to lead us to exactly the right places, and Lauren shares how she got there and so much more. On the show we discuss: Listening to your body's signalsHow bad feelings are your body's way of communicating messagesWhy awakenings can be your invitation to explore and growTesting and learning various modalities and how they can lead you to what works for youRealizing that when we are upset, these are often triggers and the underlying problem may be a deeper issue that is asking to be healedSometimes what needs healing is something you aren't even cognitively aware ofHow through EFT, subconscious thoughts can be brought to the surface allowing for healingHow acupressure/acupuncture relate to EFTWhat meridians are and how they relate to the energy in our bodiesHow EFT allows us to actually feel our feelings – even the hard ones and why it's a good thingThe science behind tapping and how the amygdala is calmed when tapping, reducing cortisone levels, how it regulates the nervous system How tapping can help kidsHow you can tap discreetly to calm yourself in a public situationHow tapping can create overall wellbeing as well as solve specific problemsHow tapping can dig into physical pain and identify the source of the painListen while we have our own tapping session for anxiety and stressWhy you shouldn't worry if your stress goes up when you first start tapping Obvi we cover a LOT! Loved learning about this and have started integrating tapping through Lauren's amazing videos into my own wellness routine. It's all about finding what resonates with you - and I encourage you to give this a go if you've been struggling with anxiety, trauma recovery or just want to feel calm and centered. Have you ever asked yourself - who do you WANT to be? The incredible thing is that we are able to change this answer anytime we want to. We just have to rewire our own brains to believe it. Bob Doyle; teacher, speaker, writer, coach and integral partner with the famous book and movie the Secret, has built his life's work around the law of attraction. But now Bob has shifted his viewpoint to integrate an additional element involving the science of our brains. It mixes in such a tangible expansive way with the mystical side of believe and attracting the life you want to live. Our brains create our reality and there is incredible power of that. In this fascinating interview we discuss:How living your dreams has nothing to do with what you deserveHow your brain can change when you give it new informationIt all begins with getting clear about who you want to be (it's going to feel weird at first!)What the biggest roadblock to change really isHow Bob got involved with the book the SecretWhat the Law of Attraction is and how it worksThe one key element missing in the Law of AttractionHow disruption works to rewire the triggers in your brainHow all success comes with a journey and creates the expertise we need to manage our successHow to enjoy your life more What subconscious wiring could be holding you back and how to change it A simple way to change a trigger to a positive responseHow to get comfortable with failures and embracing the feedback that setbacks provideWhy letting go of old stories is so hard and why it's important to be uncomfortable in the process of letting them goThis conversation will get you thinking about the ways you want to change and how you want to be living. We each have an innate inner knowing. It's something inside of us that we can use to make decisions, calm ourselves down and connect to who we truly are. This is our intuition. Many of us may not even be aware of our intuition or may feel disconnected from it or confused by it. In this episode, I talk with author, coach, podcast host and all around beautiful human, Ulrika Sullivan. We discuss all about intuition. What it is exactly, how can we use it to know ourselves better and as a result - become happier, more grounded, fulfilled, confident and at peace. Ulrika's energy was so calming and reassuring, I couldn't help but soak in all of her beautiful wisdom. On the show we dive into:What happens when you live life without connecting to your intuitionWhy outside validation will never provide fulfillmentHow some of our biggest failures are actually divinely guided opportunitiesWhen we get connected to our intuition by rock bottom momentsWhat synchronicities are, what they mean and why it's important to notice themHow we can't miss or ruin what is truly meant for usWhen we let go and trust, we allow the things we really want to arriveHow the inner understanding of ourselves will create the natural boundaries we wantThe three steps Ulrika recommends to connect with your intuitionWhat living from your heart means and how to do itRealizing when there's doubt, you are engaging from the mind, when you have deep knowing, your heart and intuition are engagedHow to come back to your center and your calm internal energy everyday and live within that energy Getting to know ourselves takes work. It's not easy or comfortable and it can be particularly hard for women. But once we do the work to get centered and truly connected with ourselves, everything can change, and life just feels so much more effortless and in synch. We all have a little masculine and a little feminine within us. And it actually has nothing to do with being girls or boys. We are all energetic beings - and within each of us exists polarizing energies which can be characterized as masculine and feminine. In this week's podcast interview, I speak with Sarah Poet of Embodied Breath. She is an expert in the study of these energies, and particularly in the focus on women stepping into their feminine energy - embracing intuition, feeling, compassion, flowing, trusting, receiving and allowing. We explore the empowered and shadow energies of the masculine and feminine, how they play out in our lives and relationships, and how becoming aware in and intuned with your feminine can allow you to step into who you really are and how you're meant to be. Many of us start the year off with lofty resolutions like losing weight or taking better care of ourselves. These are usually just symptoms of something bigger inside that needs to shift. Often, we are missing out on the first step. The practice of reflecting on the past year, honoring and celebrating where we've come and what we've learned and accomplished. This also includes reviewing old stories, habits and even wounds that don't serve us anymore that may be ready to be let go. How do we want to change? What did we learn? How did we show up? Where can we release, shift, or lessen our load allowing us to move forward refreshed, renewed, wiser and lighter? In this episode, I dive deep with Melanie Schier, Energetic Healer of Collaborative Healing and we explore how to release the past, rise to our best version of ourselves, get connected to our authenticity and make space for all the good things in the year ahead. We also discuss - How resolutions are different from intentionsGetting into the feeling of what you are looking to call in Becoming aware of our own energy and how we are affected, triggers and influenced by old stories and the people around usknowing when and how to take a pause and ground into yourself Why connecting to your heart space and your authenticity is the way to manifesting everything you wantHow important it is to step into our greatness and not play smallWhy healing the past and letting go allows us to expand into infinite possibilitiesI hope you take the time to really FEEL into the gratitude for all the lessons and amazing experiences of the past year, hard as many of them were, so that you can release them with grace and step confidently into the direction of your dreams and best life and year ever in 2022! That is EXACTLY what I plan to do. We all have our perceptions about courage. It may be easier to have courage in some areas in our life than others or simply seems like its easier for other people. The places where we have more fear, may be for good reason - so how do we step into our power, embody more courage and live more open and authentically? Why is is that the things that are seem so simple, actually require the most courage of us - vulnerability, owning our truth, showing up for ourselves, being honest about what we want and who we are. How can we use fear as a tool to understand ourselves better and move towards everything we want most in life? In this interview, Life Coach Kerry Degenhardt and I talk through all things courage and fear. Why fear isn't always protecting you and how it may be linked to old stories which aren't true anymore. We address outside influences and how to evaluate if fear is valid or not and why getting in tuned with ourselves is the best way to tap into courage.
