We dive into the structure and goals of the upcoming psilocybin trial for opioid addiction and the unique challenges of connecting participants with long-term support. Anne also introduces the Psychedelics in Recovery fellowship—a safe space for those using psychedelics in recovery—to foster connection, reduce stigma, and promote healing. This is a powerful conversation about science, spirituality, and community-driven transformation in addiction recovery.About Anne:Three years into her abstinence-based recovery program, Anne encountered psychedelics and discovered PIR (Psychedelics in Recovery). This marked the beginning of a transformative spiritual journey of self-healing and recovery, opening doors she never imagined. Her path led her to the Amazon, where she immersed herself in deeper exploration, eventually finding herself at the forefront of psychedelic research at Imperial College as a consultant on the Psilopioid clinical trial. On her road to recovery, Anne was called to psychedelics and discovered PIR (Psychedelics in Recovery), a fellowship of individuals integrating psychedelics and plant medicines within a 12-step framework. This marked the beginning of a journey of individuation and deep transformation. Starting with a microdosing approach that helped release layers of shame and guilt, she broke free from the repetitive cycles of addiction and experienced a profound spiritual awakening. Through psilocybin ceremonies and a life-changing journey to the Amazon, Anne found emotional and spiritual openness, realizing her connection to the greater whole. Welcome to the Psychedelic Conversations Podcast!Episode 158: In this episode of Psychedelic Conversations, we reconnect with returning guest Fanny Norlin for a powerful and deeply personal exploration into feminine leadership, the existential mother wound, and the journey of individuation. We discuss how our inner and collective healing processes are shaped by ancestral patterns, projection, and the need for reconnection with feminine power, sensuality, and embodied strength. Fanny shares her insights on the importance of sisterhood, the challenges women face in reclaiming their inner authority, and how female sexuality plays a central role in individuation and self-trust. Together, we reflect on the obstacles women face in accessing their truth and the psychological, energetic, and historical layers that influence this path. This rich conversation invites us to sit with the complexities of the feminine psyche and opens the door to a new paradigm of grounded, conscious womanhood. Our Previous Conversation:https://youtu.be/9wwdikdq6mI?si=HDgsEgEVRvPk39lAbout Fanny:Fanny Norlin is the creator of Lifeforce Leadership, a groundbreaking approach that explores and integrates the core dimensions of feminine and masculine leadership, revolutionizing network-based and self-organizing organizations by unlocking the full potential of these dynamic forces in a creative and conscious interplay. Susan and the hosts explore how generational trauma, guilt-based parenting, and enabling behaviors can trap us in cycles of self-doubt. With courage, grace, and deep empathy, Susan discusses walking away from a toxic parent, standing in her truth, and becoming the mother, partner, and coach she always hoped to be. At just 17, Susan's world was shattered when her father, LAPD Detective Thomas C. Williams, was ambushed and murdered on Halloween night in 1985. That moment changed everything, pulling her into the depths of grief and trauma. In the years that followed, Susan faced PTSD, loss, and the long, complicated process of rebuilding her life. But instead of letting the darkness define her, she turned her pain into purpose. By embracing vulnerability and speaking her truth, she has shown that healing is possible—even after unimaginable events. Today, Susan is the Author of a profoundly moving book that reminds us of two powerful truths: life can change in an instant, and recovery is always within reach. In this episode of The Better Sex Podcast, I talk with leading Somatic Sex Therapist Susan Morgan Taylor, Ma. We explore how women can reclaim their sexuality—not by waiting for someone else to unlock their pleasure, but by learning to create it for themselves. Susan shares her powerful personal story—how she went from a sexless marriage to discovering deep, full-body pleasure on her own. That awakening became the catalyst for her life's work helping others break free from sexual shame and disconnection. Together, we unpack the common myths about women's sexuality and why so many women lose interest in sex over time. Susan explains how stress, safety, and relationship dynamics shape desire—and why learning your own body is essential for lasting connection. She also introduces her Pleasure Keys framework, rooted in relaxation, presence, and internal awareness. Along the way, we explore how to navigate mismatched libidos, sexual fantasies, and communication challenges with curiosity instead of shame. This conversation is a reminder that great sex starts within.
