Send a textMost people think body image is about weight. It's not.Body image is about the story you learned about yourself — often long before you understood what calories or cellulite even were.In this episode, we explore:What body image actually is (and why it's not just about the mirror)How childhood experiences shape the way you see yourselfWhy we often perceive our bodies inaccuratelyThe emotional triggers that intensify body dissatisfactionWhy self-criticism doesn't create sustainable weight lossWhy even people who lose weight — including those using GLP-1 medications — can still feel deeply unhappy in their bodiesIf you've ever believed:“I'll feel better about myself when I'm thinner,” this episode gently challenges that idea. This is not about forced body positivity. It's about understanding the psychology behind body image — and learning how to stop letting it quietly run your life.Because your life is happening now.Not ten kilos from now. Thanks for listening, I hope this episode will be helpful.Philippe
Digital Clutter Is Numbing You (And You Don't Even Notice)Digital clutter has been normalized as “just life.”Constant notifications. Endless scrolling. Background noise all day long. But what if it's not harmless? In this episode, we're talking about how digital clutter doesn't just distract you — it slowly numbs you out from your happiness, clarity, and emotional awareness. This conversation is part of an ongoing series exploring why clarity, motivation, and fulfillment don't come from trying harder… they come from removing what's quietly draining you. You'll hear:Why constant input flattens emotional awareness and dulls joyHow digital, mental, and emotional clutter disconnect you from yourselfWhy numbness is often mistaken for “being fine”Why decluttering feels harder when you're already disconnectedWhat actually helps you reconnect without doing a full digital detoxIf you've been feeling off, unmotivated, or disconnected from yourself lately — this episode will help you understand why.Let's Connect!- Work with me - https://www.florasage.com/workwithme- Website - https://florasage.com- YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/florasage
Longevity isn't just workouts, supplements, and recovery tools, it starts with nervous system health. In this episode, Dr. Aimie Apigian explains what trauma actually is (not a label, but a measurable physiological response), how the body shifts from stress into overwhelm, and why “pushing through” often turns into years of avoidance, numbing, and hidden internal strain. She breaks down the biology behind the trauma response, including the role of adrenaline, cortisol timing, and how mitochondrial capacity influences resilience. You'll also learn her practical, body-based approach to creating “safe enough” in real time, plus the three phases of healing: safety, support, and expansion, so you don't stay stuck avoiding triggers forever. In this conversation:Stress vs trauma response (and what changes physiologically)Why adrenaline drives the response and cortisol arrives laterHow the body stores trauma as patterns, not just memoriesThe 3 nervous system states and the thoughts they generateA simple somatic exercise to build safety in the bodyWhy devices/meds can be bridges, not the destinationUsing biomarkers + wearables without fooling yourselfWhy modern media can create vicarious traumaJoin the most comprehensive *female-specific community for health and longevity optimization.* After over a decade dedicated to human performance and women's health, I created this space to share everything you need to know to optimize health and lifespan. “I need someone to hold me accountable.”It's one of the most common things people say when they're struggling to stay consistent. And for a long time, I believed it too.In this episode, I explain why I've changed my mind about accountability. It's often misunderstood and overvalued. This episode is about shifting from being afraid to let others down to learning how to stop letting yourself down — and why your relationship with yourself is the real foundation for consistency.WHAT YOU'LL LEARN IN THIS EPISODE:Why accountability isn't the magic solution most people think it isWhy fear of letting others down doesn't lastThe difference between external and internal accountabilityHow repeatedly “falling short” trains you to expect failure from yourselfWhy repairing your relationship with yourself matters more than you can imagineWhat truly successful clients do differentlyWHO THIS EPISODE IS FOR: >> Anyone who feels like they “just need more accountability” >> People who struggle with consistency and follow-through >> Those who have started and stopped many timesThis is the kind of work I do with my clients. In this episode of Fly to Freedom, I'm joined by writer, speaker, and podcast host Brianne Roberge for a deeply honest conversation about self-worth, trauma, and the belief that love has to be earned. We talk about what happens when you grow up learning to perform for approval, to change yourself to be acceptable, and to control your body in the hope that it will finally make you feel worthy. Brianne shares her personal journey through pageant culture, extreme physical control, cosmetic surgery, serious health consequences, and the moment everything began to shift when she stopped trying to fix herself and started listening instead. This conversation will resonate deeply if eating disorder recovery or anorexia recovery has felt less about food — and more about learning how to stay with yourself, even when it's uncomfortable. This episode includes discussion of childhood trauma and sexual abuse. Please listen gently and take pauses if you need to.In this episode, we explore:How early experiences can teach us to earn love through performance and self-erasureWhy changing the body can feel like the solution when the wound underneath is emotionalThe link between trauma, people-pleasing, and body control in eating disorder recoveryWhat happens when the body starts signalling that something isn't rightThe difference between self-care and true self-loveLearning to stay with uncomfortable feelings instead of abandoning yourselfWhy self-worth is not something you can earn by becoming someone elseHow finding your voice can change relationships — and sometimes end themWhat freedom begins to feel like when you stop hustling for loveSo many people in eating disorder recovery and anorexia recovery recognise the pattern Brianne describes — trying to be smaller, better, quieter, more disciplined, or more acceptable in order to feel safe and loved. This episode gently unpacks why those strategies never bring lasting peace, and why healing begins when worth stops being conditional.Brianne Roberge is a writer, speaker, and podcast host who shares openly about trauma healing, self-worth, embodiment, and learning how to come home to yourself after a lifetime of performing for love. You can connect with Brianne here:Instagram: @itsbriannerobergeFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/itsbriannerobergeWebsite: https://www.brianneroberge.comPodcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/5zTzthDnf5Bt5hM08FSDAkYouTube: linked via her websiteIf this episode stirred something in you, that makes sense. These beliefs often form early, and unlearning them takes time, patience, and compassion. You don't have to become someone else to be worthy. You are allowed to stop performing. You are allowed to stay with yourself.
Most people don't stall because they lack discipline. They stall because they refuse to confront their own faults. In this episode of Warrior Mindset, we break down lessons from The Hagakure, not as ancient history, but as a practical framework for self-honesty, correction, and daily discipline. This is not motivation. It's not mindset hype. It's about removing self-deception so progress becomes unavoidable. You'll learn:Why knowing your faults matters more than knowing your strengthsHow resisting discomfort creates unnecessary sufferingWhy correcting mistakes immediately is a form of strengthThe difference between defeating others and defeating yourselfWhy real discipline has no finish lineIf you're tired of repeating the same mistakes and calling it “growth,” this episode is for you.Listen carefully. The lesson is uncomfortable on purpose.Send a text

Send a textWhat happens when the very tools meant to heal you—breathwork, yoga, mindfulness—become ways to silence your inner wisdom? In this deeply vulnerable conversation, I sit down with Devin Scott, founder of Find Your Meaning, a body-based coach, who shares his recent experience of ignoring his body's signals in a relationship—and what he has learned about "healing" from that experience. We recorded this episode in early December, just days after Devin went through a painful breakup. Instead of presenting a polished, "healed" version of himself, he brought his raw, real experience into our conversation—and what emerged is one of the most honest explorations of body wisdom, emotional intelligence, and the shadow side of "wellness" that I've ever had. This conversation will shift how you think about healing, emotions, and what it means to truly listen to yourself. What You'll Learn in This Episode:Why traditional healing systems often feel hollow—and how they can reinforce perfectionism and conformity instead of true transformationThe difference between resourcing and dissociating—how Devin used "healthy" practices like breathwork and yoga to silence his body's wisdom instead of listening to itWhy emotions aren't problems to solve—they're messages, evolutionary tools, and pathways to deeper wisdomHow body wisdom gets overridden—the cultural scripts that teach us to distrust our intuition and seek external validationThe philosophy of Lila—an ancient Indian concept that reframes life as "cosmic play" rather than a linear path to fix yourselfWhy you don't need to "win" at healing—and how the idea of becoming a "better version of yourself" can be self-punitiveWhen nervous system collapse is necessary—why sometimes you need to stop doing and just be with what isThe gaslighting embedded in systems—from workplaces to therapy, how we're taught that we are the problem, not the systemKey Themes:This episode explores the paradox of using healing modalities to avoid feeling, the courage it takes to trust your body when logic demands otherwise, and the radical idea that suffering might not be something to transcend—but something to experience fully as part of being human.Devin's honesty about his own recent heartbreak—and how he ignored his body's clear signals because he couldn't rationalize them—offers a powerful reminder that even those who teach this work are still learning it. We're all human. We all stumble. And vulnerability isn't weakness—it's where the real wisdom lives.About Devin Scott:Devin Scott is a body-based coach and facilitator who helps people reconnect with their inner wisdom and move through life with greater authenticity. Procrastination is universal, even the most disciplined people do it. But here's the part that really stings: procrastination doesn't just delay tasks… it steals time away from the things you actually care about. In today's lesson, we're reframing procrastination for what it really is: choosing short-term emotional relief over long-term progress. Which means you're not avoiding the task, you're avoiding how the task makes you feel!Tune in as we break down 3 common reasons procrastination shows up, and what to do about each one in a peacefully productive way (without shame or “just try harder” energy). In this episode, we cover:The definition of procrastination that will change how you see yourselfWhy your brain treats your future self like a stranger (rude???)Why “productive procrastination” isn't better than scrolling, it's still procrastination!3 core reasons you procrastinate (and what to do instead)| RESOURCES | NYT ArticleWatch on YouTubeGet $10 off BrickGrab the 2026 Peacefully Productive PlannerThis episode's blog postFollow @hustlesanely and @jessmmassey

In this deeply embodied and expansive episode of The Upgrade Edit, I'm in conversation with my beautiful friend Hilary as she guides me through my own personal journey of healing, embodiment and energetic sovereignty - moving beyond mindset work and into the body, the womb and the nervous system.Together, Hilary and I explore what real self-healing actually looks like when we stop living life as a “floating head” and start listening to the intelligence of the body.I share openly about my journey from anxiety, suppression and disconnection into deeper embodiment and self-trust. We talk about how emotions live in the body, why suppressing feelings keeps us stuck, and how learning to sit with sensation — rather than avoiding it — becomes one of the most liberating practices a woman can access. We dive into somatic processing, generational healing, throat and womb energy, and why healing isn't about fixing yourself — it's about remembering who you were before conditioning taught you to disconnect. This conversation is raw, honest and deeply activating. It's for women who are tired of intellectualising their healing and are ready to feel, move and embody their life force. In this episode, Hilary and I explore:Why so many of us live disconnected from our bodiesHow anxiety, grief and emotion want to move through the nervous systemWhat happens when you stop distracting yourself and choose to sit in sensationThe link between the throat, the womb and suppressed truthHow somatic processing prevents trauma from being stored in the bodySelf-forgiveness and compassion for past versions of yourselfWhy healing doesn't need to make sense to be effectiveThe power of pleasure, receiving and nervous system safetyHow embodiment changes relationships, work and self-worthWhy investing in yourself ripples out to heal generationsThe difference between forcing growth and allowing expansionHow following intuition creates unshakeable inner stabilityThis episode is a reminder that your body is not the problem — it's the portal.Healing doesn't come from doing more.It comes from feeling more, trusting more and allowing energy to move.If you've ever felt afraid of your emotions, disconnected from your power, or unsure how to truly come home to yourself, this conversation is for yo
What do you do when you realize you've built a business that only functions because you're doing everything? You pause, rebuild, and stop glorifying the solopreneur lie.Okay, friends. Real talk time. This is a shorter episode, but it's an important one because I'm pulling back the curtain on what's happening in my business right now—and why I made the decision to hit pause on my February workshop. Here's the thing: 2025 was my year of building from almost-scratch. I created Six Figure Sprint, got Yay for Clients going, figured out my offer suite, and hustled HARD to make it all happen. But somewhere along the way, I realized I'd built a business model that only works if I'm the one doing everything. And that's not scalable. That's not sustainable. And honestly? It's causing chaos.I have an incredible ops manager (Barrett—she's a queen), but I was making her life hell by being reactive, changing decisions every two days, and not giving her the structure she needed to actually help me. Balls were dropping. Things were slipping through the cracks. And I was burnt out.So here's what I'm doing: I'm taking February to build the systems, delegate the processes, and transition from founder mode to CEO mode. Because staying in "solopreneur hustle" isn't my job anymore—and it shouldn't be yours either. In this episode, you'll learn:Why being at capacity means it's time to pause and build structure (not push harder)The difference between working IN your business vs. working ON your businessHow reactive decision-making creates chaos for your team (even if your team is just you)Why the "solopreneur" identity is actually a prison—and how to break freeThe one thing Courtney's job description says (hint: it's just "coaching")How to know when you've outgrown doing all the things yourselfWhy postponing a workshop turned into the best decision for scalingWhat it looks like to hand over your Forever Content system to someone elseResources Mentioned:Six Figure Sprint - Courtney's high-ticket coaching programYay for Clients: https://courtneychaal.com/yay-for-clientsForever Content Ecosystem Workshop (coming in March)Next week's episode: Turning Your Business Into a MachineTake action now!Work with Me: https://courtneychaal.com/shopFreebies: https://courtneychaal.com/freeClient Booking Machine™ Training (free): https://courtneychaal.com/masterclassConnect on Social: https://www.instagram.com/courtneychaal/

Teresa reflects on mistaking urgency for divine timing, overlooking red flags, and allowing pain from a previous relationship to guide her unhealthy decisions. This episode explores:The danger of entering relationships without healingWhy peace — not pressure — is confirmationHow unhealed wounds can distort discernmentThe importance of seeking God for yourselfWhy healing must come before commitmentTeresa also shares a heartfelt letter to her future hubby, rooted in Philippians 4:6–7, reminding listeners that true alignment comes from peace, not fear. You've done the work. You're self-aware.You can explain everyone's behavior in the situation…So why do you still feel triggered, exhausted, or quietly resentful? In this episode, Alicia breaks down why insight alone doesn't calm a dysregulated nervous system — and why high-functioning, emotionally intelligent stepmoms often struggle more, not less. This conversation is for the stepmom who:understands what's happening but still feels overwhelmedprides herself on being “the calm one”keeps asking, “Why isn't this working if I know better?”Alicia explores how self-awareness can accidentally turn into self-pressure, why explaining your feelings doesn't regulate them, and how emotional maturity has been confused with emotional suppression.Key takeaways from this episode:Why capable stepmoms struggle more than they expect toThe trap of “If I understand it, I won't feel it”How being self-aware can turn into being hard on yourselfWhy insight ≠ nervous system regulationHow unprocessed feelings quietly turn into resentmentIf you've ever thought, “I shouldn't feel this way anymore,” this episode will gently (and lovingly) call that out.

Send us a textThe phrase “Let them” is everywhere right now — shared as empowerment, detachment, and emotional maturity. But what happens when letting them becomes a way of silencing yourself? In this episode of Beyond This…, I explore the popular Let Them Theory, often associated with Mel Robbins, and gently unpack where it can be helpful — and where it can quietly lead to self-abandonment, emotional bypassing, and nervous-system override. This is not an attack on the idea of letting go of control. It's an invitation to slow the conversation down.In this episode, we explore:The original intention behind Let ThemHow detachment can turn into emotional avoidanceWhy silencing your needs isn't emotional maturityThe difference between empowerment and indifferenceHow to honour boundaries without disconnecting from yourselfWhy your nervous system matters in relational dynamicsThe missing half of the conversation: Let MeThe episode closes with a short grounding exercise to help you return to your body, your truth, and your sense of self-trust.This conversation is for anyone who has tried to be “unbothered” while feeling anxious, unseen, or small — and wondered if there might be another way.Take what resonates.Leave the rest. And listen at your own pace.As always Matilda ends each episode with an energy update and coming predictions.Global MeditationMatilda's WebsitePatreonEmbody MentorshipEmbody Group MentorshipTikTokYou TubeIntimate Mediumship Group
In today's episode, I'm pulling back the curtain on some uncomfortable truths I've been noticing lately - about self-improvement, manifestation culture, and constant content consumption - and how, when taken too far, they can quietly erode your self-confidence instead of building it. This is a candid, reflective conversation about discernment, personal power, and remembering that you are not broken, behind, or missing anything. Here's what we explore in this episode:How personal development can unintentionally reinforce the belief that you're “not enough yet”Why over-consuming podcasts, content, and coaching advice can block intuition and self-trustThe subtle ways manifestation “rules” turn into pressure, fear, and perfectionismHow marketing and social media can quietly chip away at confidence if you're not discerningThe difference between healthy growth and constantly trying to fix yourselfWhy self-trust, not more information, is the real foundation of confidenceHow identity work can feel expansive instead of heavy, exhausting, or never-endingThe shift from “what do I need to heal?” to “what if I'm already enough to receive?”If this episode resonates, let it be an invitation to slow down, tune inward, and clean up what you're consuming - not because you need to be better, but because you deserve to feel grounded, confident, and at peace with who you already are. In this deeply embodied and expansive conversation, I'm joined by Davina, energy worker, retreat facilitator and founder of The Upgrade, for a conversation that goes far beyond mindset and into the body, the womb, the nervous system and the truth of what real self-healing actually looks like. This episode is an invitation to stop living life as a “floating head” and start listening to the intelligence of your body.Davina shares her powerful journey from anxiety, suppression and disconnection to full embodiment and energetic sovereignty. We explore how emotion lives in the body, why suppressing feelings keeps us stuck and how learning to sit with sensation rather than avoid it becomes one of the most liberating practices a woman can access. We speak about somatic processing, generational healing, throat and womb energy, and why the work isn't about fixing yourself but remembering who you were before conditioning taught you to disconnect. This conversation is raw, honest and deeply activating. It's for women who are tired of intellectualising healing and are ready to feel, move and embody their life force instead. In this episode, we explore:Why so many people live disconnected from their bodies and stuck in their mindsHow anxiety, grief and emotion actually want to move through the bodyWhat happens when you stop distracting yourself and choose to sit in sensationThe link between the throat, the womb and suppressed truthHow somatic processing prevents trauma from being stored in the bodySelf-forgiveness and compassion for past versions of yourselfWhy healing doesn't need to make sense to be effectiveThe power of pleasure, receiving and nervous system safetyHow embodiment changes relationships, work and self-worthWhy investing in yourself ripples out to heal generationsThe difference between forcing growth and allowing expansionHow following intuition creates an unfuckwithable inner stabilityThis episode is a reminder that your body is not the problem — it's the portal.Healing doesn't come from doing more.It comes from feeling more, trusting more and allowing energy to move.If you've ever felt afraid of your emotions, disconnected from your power or unsure how to truly come home to yourself, this conversation is for you.Connect with Davina:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/davvyxx/?hl=enWebsite: https://www.theupgradebydavina.com/Podcast: https://open.spotify.com/show/1ptaTRN53bk1YUplV2FcPG?utm_medium=share&utm_source=linktreeBodyGraph is currently offering 33% off using code HILLARY33: https://bodygraph.com/ WORK WITH HILLARY: Become CERTIFIED in HD in the Advanced Human Design Certification Instagram Get your free Human Design Chart

As the year wraps up, it's tempting to jump straight into planning what's next — without ever stopping to reflect on what just happened. In this episode, we talk about why crafting a clear narrative for your year is one of the most powerful (and overlooked) tools for preventing burnout, building perspective, and entering the next season grounded instead of reactive. We explore:Why high performers default to focusing on what didn't go wellHow negativity bias distorts your view of the yearThe clinical parallel between helping patients make sense of their story — and doing the same for yourselfWhy even experienced CEOs struggle to give themselves creditOur one-sentence narrative for 2025, shaped by becoming a family of four while expanding our impact in pelvic healthHow reflection creates psychological closure and protects against burnoutWe'll walk you through a simple exercise to help you name your own one-sentence narrative for the year — before you start planning the next one.If you're feeling tired, behind, or like the year slipped by too fast, this episode is your invitation to pause, zoom out, and recognize what you've actually built.About UsNicole and Jesse Cozean founded Pelvic PT Rising to provide clinical and business resources to physical therapists to change the way we treat pelvic health. In this episode, we sit down with Kellen Matthews-Thompson – Philly runner, content creator, father, husband, and the founder of Recovery Run Club. Before his life revolved around miles, marathons, and community, Kellen spent over a decade in the grip of opioid addiction. He began using in his teens, eventually turning to IV drugs in his twenties. His life unraveled – until a doctor in treatment connected the dots between the chemistry of the runner's high and the brain's need for relief. Something clicked. From that moment, Kellen started running. First one mile. Then another. Then a hundred.Literally – he went on to win a 100-mile ultramarathon and run a marathon every month in 2024 to raise awareness for recovery.Today, Kellen uses running as a bridge – not just for himself, but for others. Recovery Run Club is just one example of how Kellen uses his growing online presence to raise awareness and inspire hope around recovery. There's a special kind of resonance in this conversation – because Zac is a born-and-raised Philly guy who found his own way back through recovery, service, and showing up for other people. Two men who rebuilt their lives from the inside out. Two men who know what it means to choose a different kind of hard.We talk about:Running as an entryway to emotional regulation and self-beliefLove as the key ingredient to helping others find recovery The loneliness of early recovery and how community closes the gapFatherhood after addictionBuilding something that serves people instead of just saving yourselfWhy running is such a powerful tool in recovery for so manyThis is a conversation about movement, identity, and returning to yourself — one mile, one day, one choice at a time.Kellen: @kellenrunsphillyRecovery Run Club: @recoveryrunclubConnect with Zachttps://www.instagram.com/zwclark/https://www.linkedin.com/in/zac-c-746b96254/https://www.tiktok.com/@zacwclarkhttps://www.strava.com/athletes/55697553https://twitter.com/zacwclarkIf you or anyone you know is struggling, please do not hesitate to contact Release Recovery:(914) 588-6564releaserecovery.com@releaserecovery
