Over the course of his 20+ years as an actor, today's guest has reinvented himself, pushing beyond Hollywood typecasting into roles that have allowed him to reach new heights as both an artist, and as a person.    Tyler Labine's long list of credits include Hulu's, “Deadbeat”, The WB's “Dead Last”, NBC's “Animal Practice”, CBS's “Mad Love”, FX's “Sons of Tucson” and he can currently be seen on the new season of BBC's “Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency” and the NBC hit series, “New Amsterdam” as Dr. Iggy Frome.    Born in Canada, Tyler discusses what it was like growing up as one of three artistically inclined siblings. If you're like me, you have a weak spot in your heart for animals. Especially baby animals! I've lost track of how many times I've spontaneously gone home with a stray puppy or homeless kitten. In chiropractic school, we didn't have any formal training in our required curriculum about caring for animals. But there are post-graduate programs available for those who want to make the commitment to learning how to adjust animals. Jocko Sims stars as Dr. Floyd Reynolds on the NBC drama "New Amsterdam."   Sims is an actor, writer and producer who has had roles in numerous film and television projects, including "Dreamgirls," "Jarhead" and the 2014 summer box office smash "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes." For his first series, Sims had a co-starring role on the Starz original series "Crash." For the past five years, he has starred as Lt. Carlton Burk on the TNT network hit "The Last Ship," which is currently in its last season. While on hiatus from "The Last Ship," Sims portrayed Robert Franklin on Showtime's second season of "Masters of Sex." Betsy is an actor/writer/improviser who has appeared on TV shows like Animal Practice, Kroll Show, and Big Time in Hollywood Florida. She is also a member of the UCB House Improv Team, Bangarang and the UCB Maude Team, Nephew. In Ben’s interview with Betsy, you’ll get to hear her talk about why she chose a career in comedy over soccer, working on the Backdraft ride at Universal Studios, and what it was like when she found out she had been cast on the NBC show Animal Practice.

He has been seen in many comedy programs such as Community, Parks & Recreation, Happy Endings, Animal Practice, Workaholics and Veep and has acted in the movies including Superbad, Step Brothers, Semi-Pro, Meet Dave and This is the End. He has also appeared in numerous commercials for the products Sonic, Wendy's, T-Mobile and Toyota. He currently has a recurring role on Adult Swim's Children's Hospital.
