Do you know where you are? You're in the jungle, baby! SHANANANANA. Okay, so it's not the jungle, but Welcome to the Blumhouse. Or whatever. Today we're talking about two new movies in the film studio's latest slate, namely Luchagore's Bingo Hell and the brooding The Manor. Up first though is Real World Horror, about a terrifying parasite (or is it a symbiont? I don't know, Tony will try and figure it out) that eats a fish's tongue and then BECOMES THE FISH'S TONGUE! In Horror Business, we talk about the new aquatic board game from the makers of Mixtape Massacre. Speaking of games, we also look at one of the video variety based on the films in the A Quiet Place series. We then examine a trio of zombie stories, including a famous one returning to Hocus Pocus 2, plus sequels to the Australian road movie Wyrmwood and Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead. So strap in, or on, or whatever it is you kids are doing these days and enjoy a spankin' new episode of The Grave Plot Podcast!

Check out my mini review on "Bingo Hell"! Warning: spoilers. *Sorry about the crunchy audio in the first half.
Howie crawled out of his covid-19 related sick bed to join Sidey and Dan in the Man Cave. It's only fitting that he should face the music for this weeks movie nomination!A name is a term used for identification by an external observer. They can identify a class or category of things, or a single thing, either uniquely, or within a given context. The word name comes from Old English nama; cognate with Old High German (OHG) namo, Sanskrit नामन् (nāman), Latin nomen, Greek ὄνομα (onoma), and Persian نام (nâm), from the Proto-Indo-European (PIE) *h₁nómn̥.[1] Outside Indo-European, it can be connected to Proto-Uralic *nime. And that's all relevant because this week were compiling a list of the most memorable movie character names. There's bound to be a favourite of yours mentioned, but feel free to argue the toss with us on our social media channels!BINGO HELL (2021) was a curious choice of movie, give that Howie, like Dan, avoids horror movies at all costs. There was no need to worry as this #Blumhouse production managed to avoid any scares. Or excitement. Or entertainment. Would not recommend. As Halloween approaches we cast our eyes over a very dark and Grimm (geddit?) retelling of kids fairy tales. Kids with a delicate disposition be warned...We love to hear from our listeners! By which I mean we tolerate it. Deze aflevering: I Know What You Did Last Summer (de serie), Night Teeth, Muppets Haunted Mansion en Bingo Hell. Ook keek hij I Know What You Did Last Summer, dat nu een horrorserie op Amazon Prime Video is. De jaren 90 zijn lang geleden dus werkt de klassieke slasherhorror formule nog? Every year I do #31daysofhalloween which usually involves a write-up here on Facebook and on my Letterboxd. But since I make videos every day, I figured why not try and do (brief?) video reviews. Don't know how long it will last. Can I break my record of 61 films from last year? Probably not. As long as it's fun, that's all that matters. Bingo Hell (2021) Amazon Prime - In the barrio of Oak Springs live a strong and stubborn group of elderly friends who refuse to be gentrified. En esta ocasión, analizamos la secuela de una de las películas mexicanas más reconocidas, una de terror por parte de Amazon, la nueva serie de terror religioso de Netflix y la última (si, la última) película de Daniel Craig como James Bond. Que lo disfruten.
Monte Yazzie, program director for the International Horror and Scifi Film Festival and all around horror enthusiast, joins Summer to discuss "Bingo Hell" and "Black As Night", the first two entries in the Welcome to the Blumhouse series for 2021. To kick things off, Dave offers his brief take on Cary Joji Fukunaga's NO TIME TO DIE (2:30), Daniel Craig's satisfying final outing as James Bond. Next, we all review BINGO HELL (11:55), Gigi Saul Guerrero's brief, yet heavy-handed horror comedy that's part of Amazon's 2021 WELCOME TO THE BLUMHOUSE series. After that we cover Antoine Fuqua's THE GUILTY (22:41), a frustrating and problematic thriller about a 911 operator played effectively by Jake Gyllenhaal. Finally, we dig into THE MANY SAINTS OF NEWARK (40:49), Alan Taylor's extremely disappointing Sopranos prequel about the rise of Tony Soprano. And in this week's Patreon exclusive audio, we have a blast discussing Joe Cornish's 2011 sci-fi comedy ATTACK THE BLOCK, starring John Boyega and Jodie Whittaker.

Erik Childress and Steve Prokopy hit the magic number again this week. Ten movie reviews for your curiosity including a trio of horror films to kick off October (Bingo Hell, Black As Night, No One Gets Out Alive). For lighter fare you can choose between Danielle McDonald wanting to become an opera singer (Falling for Figaro) or a pair of sisters trying to comically rescue their grandmother from a nursing home at the beginning of the pandemic (Stop and Go). Dan Stevens plays a robot trying to be the perfect companion in Germany's official entry for the Oscars (I'm Your Man). This week we ask the musical question: Why would you make that? Blending together Star Wars and anime on Star Wars Visions on Disney+ is actually the least crazy thing this week. There's the forgettable Ordinary Joe on HULU. There's the Korean sci-fi weirdness of Squid Game on NETFLIX. And there are certainly some weird gems in Les's rundown of Fantastic Fest. 3:11-20:40 TV Diary 20:40-25:55 Truth is Stranger Than Fan-Fiction 25:55-35:48 Star Wars Visions (Disney+) 36:12-42:30 Fantastic Fest (Beyond the Infinite Two Minutes, Cannon Arm and the Arcade Quest, Found Footage Phenomenon, Let The Wrong One In) 42:30-52:28 Ordinary Joe (HULU) 52:28-58:00 Fantastic Fest (The Beta Test, Bingo Hell, Exorcism of God, Ike Boys, Lamb, Mother Schmuckers) 58:00-1:04:32 Squid Game (NETFLIX) 1:04:32-1:16:26 Fantastic Fest (This is Gwar, The Trip, Baby Assassins, Eyes of Fire, There's Someone Inside Your House, V/H/S/94, Woodlands Dark and Days Bewitched: A History of Folk Horror, Sweetie You Won't Believe It) 1:16:26- Double Dessert: What If?/Ted Lasso
